Kazuma POV
Kazuma here. I have been in this new world for a few months now. A goddess gave me the mission to defeat the Demon Lord, and she also provided me a cheat skill, an over power skill that will help me defeat the Demon King. I have very strong companions with me, and the best is that I had my small Harem with me.
Or that's what I wanted to say. In reality, I am stuck with a good-for-nothing goddess. A Mage, an archmage no less, with tremendous power, but she only uses one speel, and all her mana is depleted after that one use. And a Paladin, who can not hit anything, even if it is big and immobile. The worse part is their personalities.
Although I have to admit that it is thanks to them that things are getting better. Now I am living in a mansion. But I do not know if the mansion is worthy of the problems the three of them give me. Still, better than sleeping in a barn.
Now, enough of the background. Right now, I should be writing this to explain the current situation.
Well, it all started when we went to check for a new mission. We were running out of Erises thanks to a certain drunk goddess.
Surpassingly, no mission was available. Although we already defeat Beldia, there is still a small number of monsters. It can be that it will take time for the monsters, that are not with the demon monster, to come back.
So, we took the only mission available for us. "Slay Giant Toads". Yes: "Slay Giant Toads". The same mission I had when I first arrived. Without counting the jobs of hard labor that is.
Shouldn't be that hard, I thought. All the other missions were too risky to take and to be honest, I was still in doubt to take this one. If I went on the mission alone, Aqua would go and find a way to get into more debt. So I decided to go only with her, then Megumin said something about getting revenge on her fated enemy. When I was telling Megumin that she should stay behind because she would pass out after one spell, like the last time, Darkness appeared and said that she will protect Megumin and that she will become her meat shield.
In the end, the whole party was in the plains outside Axel, again. But if I remember correctly, this should be the first time we are doing thins with Darkness. With that in mind, this might work. If I can do that, somehow Aqua can be of help, and Darkness can do something decent. Maybe if we work together, we can gather all the toads together, and then use Megumin's "explosion" to defeat them in one go.
That would be the best curse of action. Unfortunately, once one Giant Toad appeared, Darkness put herself in front and got herself eaten by the Giant Toad. So, I ran to save her.
When I was cutting the Toad with my sword, I heard an explosion. Megumin already used her spell of the day. Now my plan is all ruined.
When I finally defeated the Giant Toad, I saw another two of them. A blue Giant Toad was eating Aqua. I asked Darkness to take care of Megumin. And I ran to save Aqua.
While I was cutting the blue Giant Toad, I heard Darkness's sword. Her clashing with something. Normally you won't be hearing that if you are hitting a giant toad. Now I am worried.
I was way too tired. And getting suffocated. Then I turn to see Darkness. She was almost crying. Then she said that Megumin was eaten by the black and white toad. So I tried to save her.
I went and attacked the Toad and defeated it. It took me longer than the other two. And the most disgusting thing was that I had to open its stomach to take out Megumin.
Problem. Megumin was not breathing.
Another problem. When I put my ear in her chest I did not hear any heartbeats.
Now, you may think that I could do that by checking her pulse from her wrist and that I was just trying to take her tiny loli breast. So let me correct you. That was not my only reason. And to be honest, my libido disappeared when I could not hear her heartbeat.
I took Aqua, who was crying, next to Megumin. She was not crying because of Megumin. Aqua was crying because she was covered with saliva.
- Hey, stop that useless goddess.

- First, help us with Megumin.
I tried to make everything as good as I could. I did not want Darkness to panic, so I did not mention that Megumin was dead. If Aqua could revive her, there won't be any need to do that. She may think that Aqua just healed her.

Either way. Megumin started to breathe again, so that was a good sign. But then Aqua made a weird face.
- Is something wrong?
- Eh? No, no, nothing is wrong. We should go back to the mansion.
- You are right.
- I can take her.
- No, I will. It is my fault. I am the one that suggested this mission.
I took Megumin and let her rest in her bed. Darkness said that she was going to help to clean her and put on her pajamas. So, I just said: "leave it to you, please".
Aqua won the bath, so I had to wait for my turn. Honestly, it was good that Aqua was with us. I don't know what will happen if we could not do anything about Megumin.
But Megumin did not wake up.
She is breathing, and we could felt her heartbeats. But two days have passed, and she is still sleeping. That is strange.
If I recall correctly. After the resurrection, you should be able to stand up like nothing. It also heals all your wounds, even if they are not lethal. The problem here is that I don't know if the resurrection magic will help if she dies of starvation.
We were making patrols to take care of Megumin. I took care of her in the morning, Aqua in the afternoon, and Darkness at night.
Then on the third day, when I was gonna switch with Darkness, I entered the room. She was still awake but very sleepy. Suddenly Darkness's eyes widen.
- Kazuma! Kazuma! Her hand moved!

I turn to see Megumin, and her eyes open a little bit. Darkness took Megumin's hand into her chest. Megumin smiled and then closed her eyes.
- She must be tired.
- I should bring her something to eat. She hasn't eaten in a while.
I left the room and went to the kitchen.
After Megumin woke up. I end up in a private conversation with Aqua. She was acting strange since she resurrected Megumin. At first, I thought that she felt guilty that Megumin did not wake up right away. But I didn't blame Aqua. But now.
- What do you mean that you mess up?
- Well… the spell has some restrictions. For one, it does not work if you were digested.
- But she was not digested. And, weren't you a goddess?
- She was not digested completely. But don't worry, Megumin is alive.
- Really?
I was relieved about that. I was thinking that she was really just nervous because she did not wake up right away. But then:
- But she is not in this world anymore.

- My resurrection worked, and she was sent alive to another world.
- So who is the one in Megumin's bed?
- I don't know. Must be the original person from the body that Megumin is using.

I took a look at the room where Darkness and "Megumin?" were. At first, felt pity, she must have died, and then she woke up here.
- How can we make that both return to their body.

And Aqua started to cry again. At that moment, I was not going to gain anything from the conversation, so I decided to present myself with this new Megumin and gave her something to eat.
I entered the room with a bowl of soup. The girl in Megumin's body looked at me. Then Darkness helped me to put the bed table with the bowl.
Darkness face was of sadness. I guessed that they already talked. Darkness took my arm and walked a little away from the bed.
- I guess that she is suffering from amnesia.
- Why do you think that?
- She does not remember who she is. Is that or, she has lost her mind.
- Lost her mind?
- She said that her name is Ruby.
- I see. Let me try to talk to her. You can go to rest.
- Let me know if anything happens.
After Darkness left the room, and I sat next to the bed. The girl in Megumin's body covered herself until the neck. You will think that she was nervous about a male sitting next to her. But apparently, the reason is:

At least at this moment Aqua was acting serious, and bow a little. I do really want that she acted that way more often.
- Oh… Ah. Nice to meet you. I am Ruby Rose.
- So regarding this situation. I will ask you directly.

- Did you die at that tower?
- No, she didn't.

The god of Dark created the Grimm and other things that cause destruction, like volcanos and such. But then they worked together to create humanity. It says that the god of light gave us intelligence, and the god of Darkness the ways to improve ourselves.
- Hahahahahahahaha
Aqua suddenly started to laugh pretty loudly and roll on the floor. Ruby looked surprised by her sudden change. I asked her to be quiet:
- Hey. Can you stop that?
- The thing is… hahaha
- What is the thing?
- The world she is from. She is from Remunanto
- Well, the continent is called Remnant.
- And what's funny about it?
- Hahahaha. And you are hahaha
Now Aqua is pointing at me.
- The gods of her world are just like you.
- What do you mean?

That's what I wanted to do. But Darkness told us that the Guild will charge us some penalty for not fulfilling the mission, although they gave us more time to complete it. And Wiz was not at her store. I guess that we have to complete that mission. I just hope that Ruby is not like the other two.
