jenob94 - Uh...actually...
As night fell, Olaf was sitting with the younger kids as they pulled his arms off and stuck them in different places at the village. Natasha even luckily had S.H.I.E.L.D. issued handcuffs and used them on Electro and hung him somewhere to get some answers.
"Hey, let me ask you, how do you guys cope with the ever-increasing complexity of thought that comes with maturity?" Olaf asks when one of the girls pulled Olaf's nose off and stuck it up her own. "Brilliant!"
Suddenly, a boy pushed his hand through his head and the snowman winced.
"It's so refreshing to talk to the youth of today. Our futures in bright hands." The kids continued to pull Olaf apart. "Oh no don't chew that, you don't know what I've stepped in." A boy began to lick Olaf's foot when the snowman told him off. "Oh, I wouldn't do that. You don't know what I've stepped in."
"I can't seem to get her attention. Or even say the right thing." Kristoff hung his head and Sven nudged his friend. "I mean, Peter can easily talk to Elsa just fine." He nodded over to the Auburn-haired man who's sitting with Honeymarron and Elsa while Yelena tells them everything. "Why can't I talk to Anna like that?"
"Well, you're in luck. I know nothing about woman, but I do know that we have the most amazing way of proposing." Ryder says and Kristoff lit up at the idea.
"If we start now, we'll be ready before dawn." Ryder told him as the two of them stopped walking.
"Really?" Kristoff asks as Ryder put his hand on his shoulder and began walking them.
"Best part, it involves a lot of reindeer." Ryder whispered.
Whilst that was happening, Natasha strolled over to Electro and saw they left him hanging on a rope while hanging from a branch and was being contained by power dampening handcuffs to keep him from turning into more electricity and flying off.
"Oh, look. I was worried that I'd been forgotten." Electro scoffed.
Natasha then smiled and fixed the glove on her hand. "Now here's how this is going to work. You're going to tell me everything. Everything that I want to know."
"I'll tell you nothing." Electro promise. "Do your worst!"
"Oh, don't worry. I will." Natasha promised him.
Meanwhile, Peter was talking to Yelena about everything that's happened with his parents and how they came to be here. But it seems nobody knows how they got in but told him everything she did know.
"...and that was the last we saw them." Yelena finished telling Peter.
Apparently when his parents first arrived, they surveillance the area, learned about the facility, and haven't been seen except for just noticing them around the forest. That means everything that's been happening is because of something at that facility. All of his answers must be there.
"Thank you." Peter tells her. "I'm glad to finally be able to see them again."
Natasha then walked back over and sat down with a sigh as they saw Mattias, and Anna stood outside the village drinking from a set of mugs and talking.
"How'd it go?" Clint asked her.
"Oh, he told me everything." Natasha stated. "Apparently, Norman from our world found something called...I can't even take this seriously. The Heart of the Universe."
That caused them to freeze and have no idea what to say.
"What?" Scott asks.
"Yeah, apparently, it's something so powerful, it's actually just as powerful as the infinity stones themselves." Natasha informed them. "And when Norman gets it, he said he's working on a way to be able to absorb its energy into him. And when he does, nobody will be able to stop him. Even someone like Jean Grey won't stand a chance."
"Norman with the power to do anything to all of reality. Oh, god." Peter whispered at the thought of someone like Norman with that type of power.
"Hey." Elsa stopped him from going too deep into thought. "We'll stop him."
"Did you forget, Elsa? We did try to stop him. And you saw what happened." Peter stated as he looked over to Kamala and she was talking to some of the kids her age.
"Yeah, but you were alone at that point." Elsa reminded him. "This time, we'll face him together."
Peter smiled and pecked her head, and she leaned her head against his shoulder. "What would I do without you?"
"Most likely by this point, you'd probably be living in some down apartment, eating pizza and crying in the shower." Elsa listed the possibilities, causing Peter to laugh.
"Yeh, that's probably where I'd be." Peter agreed with a sigh.
Elsa then looked and saw Anna was coming back and nodding to Peter and rubbing her stomach, indicting she wants Elsa to tell Peter about her pregnancy.
Seeing this is going to be the best of any time, she decides to build up the courage and finally tell him. "Peter, there's something you should know-"
"Shh." Peter actually interrupted her, shocking Elsa when she noticed he was looking around for something.
"What is it?" Elsa whispered.
"Somethings coming." Peter said when they felt the earth shake the ground.
"Earth Giants." Honeymarron whispered.
"What are they doing down here?" Yelena asked before everyone quickly got to work and put out the fire and closed the campsite down and everyone quickly hid.
T'Challa quickly leaped up into a tree and hid within it, Hope and Scott shrink down, Kamala quickly ran and grabbed onto Peter, and he protectively held her as he and Elsa hid behind a rock, just nearby they saw that Natasha and Clint had Anna and were also hiding.
Olaf ran and ended up where the Fire Spirit was, and he chittered before bursting into flames.
"Shh!" Olaf tried to put him out and quickly allowed the salamander to land on his head, calling him off. "This is why we don't play with fire." The salamander then looked down to Olaf and offered a smile. "Oh, I can't stay mad at you. Why are you so cute!?"
Everyone then watched in shock as gigantic hulking rock formations marched past them as Peter held onto his wife and the kid.
"Yeah, I have a feeling we won't be able to tame them like you did with the Fire Lizard." Peter tells Elsa.
"Yeah, I had the same thought." Elsa agreed as they watched and saw the Earth Giants have moved on.
"Oh, thank goodness." Kamala sighed in relief.
Just then, the others all came over and regrouped, followed by T'Challa jumping down from the tree and retracting his mask.
"That was a close one." T'Challa said.
"Yeah, so now what do we do?" Scott asked them.
"Whatever Norman's here for, the answers are in that facility." Natasha reminded them and gestured to where the facility is.
"The giants were somehow able to sense me. They might come back." Elsa warned them. "I don't want to put anyone else at risk."
"Hey, we followed you this far, we're not letting you go on your own." Clint reminded her.
Peter looked back and forth to where the facility is and where Elsa's voice is calling her and came to a conclusion. "Okay, there's only one way to do this. We need to split up, cover the most ground."
"Wait, didn't we just say we needed to stick together?" Scott asks.
"That was before the Thing as a giant came and almost clobbered us." Peter stated. "Listen, I'll go to the facility, learn what I can on what's here, and hopefully learn where my parents are. You guys keep heading north, and I'll catch up."
"You're going to a facility created by your worst enemy on your own?" Natasha asked Peter.
"I'll be faster on my own, and I want you guys to be there just in case Goblins try to ambush them." Peter stated as he looked to Elsa and Anna, wanting them to be as safe as they can be.
"I'm going with you then." Kamala tells Peter.
"What? No. You're going with Elsa." Peter tells her.
"I'm here to protect you. What if I could've helped, and I wasn't there to help?" Kamala asked. "And besides, this way, you have some backup."
Peter looked over to Elsa, wanting her to help, but yet again, she took Kamala's side and gave him a smile. He then sighed and turned back to Kamala. "This is gonna keep happening with you. Okay. You win, kid."
"Yes!" Kamala cheered and walked away to wait for Peter.
Peter then turned back to Elsa. "So, what was it you were saying earlier?"
"Oh..." Elsa realized she did get cut short when she was going to tell him the news. "It's nothing important. I'll tell you later."
"Okay." Peter guessed and pulled her in for a quick kiss.
Elsa immediately returned it, hoping this isn't the last they see each other and broke off.
"You know...there's a good chance when we see each other again, I'll be with my parents." Peter informed her, his heart racing to the point he might pass out at the idea.
"I can't wait to officially meet them." Elsa whispered before pecking his lips open more time before they broke it off and they looked at one another as Peter walked off with Kamala.
"We'll, now they're gone, let's get going." Clint said, the others feeling like a giant third wheel to them.
"Okay, just let me..." Anna was saying when she looked around and saw Kristoff was missing. "Where are Kristoff and Sven?"
"Oh, yeah, I think they took off with that Ryder guy and a bunch of reindeer." Olaf told them.
"And you just waited until now to tell us this?" Clint asks.
"Yep." Olaf said as cheery as ever.
"They just left without saying anything?" Anna asked in shock.
"Who knows the ways of men?" Olaf asked as he walked over to join Elsa, Hope, and T'Challa who've just begun walking and stopped to see Anna wasn't coming.
Anna then looked and quickly joined the other heroes and walked off.
