The first thing she felt when she came to was warmth. Clementine opened her eyes, finding herself laying on a thin wooden plank. Everything seemed dark, as if the sun was no longer glaring in the sky.

The room she was in was large, she saw Buricko tied up to a set of an unfinished staircase. From what it looked like, his lip was bruised as if he had been punched in that spot. Kenny must've done something to him.

"Hey kid," a voice called out. She knew who it was and she turned to find Luke sat against the wall in his signature orange jumper. "Did'ya enjoy yer lil'nap?" He offered a cheeky smile.

Clementine shook her head trying not to grin. "I wasn't napping." She got up and sat next to the man. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah-yeah, ah'm fine. Just a bit chilly is'all." He patted her on the back.

Clementine sighed. "What happened while I was out?"

"Not much, Bonnie almost got me killed."

"Yeah... I know." She said in a low tone. That redhead was lucky she failed. She was a complete and would've been a dead one if she did managed to get him killed. That stupid woman was a danger to the group and needed to be dealt with, she needed some type of punishment for nearly getting a good friend killed. "She's lucky... she didn't."

Luke chuckled a bit. "Well, at least ah'm still'ere." He smiled at her to which she returned. "You-uhh had any dreams?"

"No, I didn't dream of anything." Which was the truth, she didn't dream. She last thing she remembered was someone pulling her out of the water and here she was. "Who brang me out of the water?"

"Carlos." He simply answered.

"Carlos!?"

"Yeah, he was the one who dragged you outta the water." Clementine nodded, frown on her features. Carlos was the once who saved her? She didnt know why but she was quite surprised at that fact. She made a mental note to go look for him after she was done. A moment of silence passed between the two, peacefully relaxing by the fire. "H-hey Clem?"

"Yeah?" The child turned at the man.

There was a pause. A few moments later, he deeply sighed through his nose. "Ah'm sorry."

Clementine frowned, side-eyeing. "For... what?" There was yet another pause, the man looked like he was miles away. "Luke?" She brought him out of his thoughts.

He then looked back at her, a solemn look on his face. "For the radio?" So, that's what he was talking about. The child stayed silent while he continued. "A-ah'm sorry... ah really am. A-ah was bein' stupid ah should'a waited for you back on that store..." he trailed off, leaning forward and idly rubbing his face.

Clementine sat there, watching him. When he heard the man sigh, she started to wonder how long he had been feeling like this. How long he had been blaming himself for. The child didn't want to blame him but get rid of the emotions, then logically if was his fault. She blamed him before, when they took shelter on that deck the night Rebecca gave birth to her baby but that was purely out of anger and even then she was right regardless. It was his fault but she wasn't going to rub in his face at all, the thought alone brought her shame.

Clementine sighed, smacking her lips before she attempted something. "Well hey, at least I'm still here." She offered the man a small smile.

The man looked back at her and scoffed before he returned it.

The child then noticed Buricko staring at her with a... strange expression. Like, he was extremely confused about something. Clementine frowned. "Hello? Do you need something?"

The man then went back to his usual expression before looking away.

The child glared at him for a moment before she got up. She walked over to the neatly folded jacket and threw it around her arms and zipped it up. It killed her to know that Bonnie had gave her this ugly-as-shit jacket but it was the only thing that kept her warm.

"Where you goin'?" Luke frowned.

"I'm gonna go see where the others are, maybe walk around outside?" Clementine shrugged.

The man nodded. "A'ight, have fun."

Clem nodded before she turned and left the room.

Clementine opened the back doors and stepped outside. She was immediately greeted by the cold breeze, her breaths letting out steam. It was night, the moon lit the sky and there were a few clouds. She saw Kenny and Sarita over by a truck. It was maroon red, it's paint was beginning to peel off and it looked slightly dirty. Both the hood of the car and the door to the driver's seat was open. The child began walking over to the two adults.

After he was done tinkering with whatever was under the hood, he noticed Clementine approaching them and he relief shot through him. "Clem!" He walked over to the child. "How're you doin' darlin'?"

"I'm fine, a bit cold but I'm fine." Clementine replied.

"That's great darlin'."

"Clementine!" The child saw Sarita who was walking over to them. "We were so worried about you. Are you okay?" She asked, concerned.

"Yeah... I am fine." She answered, slightly annoyed at the question. "What're you two working on?" The child eyed the truck.

"Oh that! Yeah, we were just tryin' to get this truck up'n runnin'!"

"So far... we haven't made any progress." Sarita walked back over to the truck and Kenny began tinkering about the hood again.

"Yeah, but it's all we can do at the moment. That baby ain't gonna survive on chilli alone, we gotta find Wellington. It's the best bet for'em."

Wellington. The child was still in disagreement with that idea, all they knew about the place was that it was "safe". Other than that, they knew nothing else about it. The cabin was the perfect place to live! They even knew where it was too. Out in the middle of the woods, all they had to do was set up some type of barricade and they were all set!

Clementine didn't want to disagree with him though. He had been with her one-hundred percent, he stuck with her and stood up for her the entire time. She couldn't risk losing his loyalty, most of the group was already against her.

You could say Luke was still with her. He seemed fine when he was talking to her a few moments ago but how long would that last?

"We still don't know if this place is as good as they say it is Ken," Sarita replied.

"Of course it is, why else would everyone be talkin' about it?"

"Well... I don't know exactly but we shouldn't chase something that's purely based on rumor. What happens if we go out there and find nothing?"

Kenny didn't respond, he continued tinkering with the engine to the car. He sighed. "Wellington's out there, we just have to find it."

One thing Clementine planned to do, if she ever ended up alone, was go back to the cabin. She walked away from the two, letting them work on fixing the truck. She didn't protest to that, they needed it. It would be great to have a working vehicle again just like back at the motor inn. The R.V. that Lilly stole.

Lilly... .

Clementine remembered her, she was close to the woman and she remembered how she operated within the group. Always focusing on themselves rather than helping other people, strangers to which she ultimately agreed with. It was better to focus on themselves and stability rather than work on their morals... it was better that way anyway but what hurt was how she abandoned them by stealing the R.V.

True, she was tied up for accidentally killing that man, Doug but Clem still liked the woman even after what she did. Doug was a great person too, nonetheless but he got himself killed by pulling Ben out of the way and getting his head shot in the process.

As she was walking back to the half-built shack, she noticed the redhead, Bonnie sitting on the steps by the doors. This snot-nosed moron needed to be dealt with.

Clem walked over and stood in front of her, her face blank.

The redhead was smoking a cigarette, she took in a whiff and then exhaled. Smoke, flew out her mouth, Clementine could smell the toxic fumes. "What do you want?" She said in sour tone. This woman's got some nerve... . She nearly got Luke killed and she was talking to her like that!?

"Oh okay, you nearly get Luke killed and-"

"Ah nearly got Luke killed!?" The redhead snapped. "Really!?" She stood up, cigarette still in hand. "That's funny, comin' from a little girl who don't do nothin' but hurt other people!" Clem's eyes widened in bewilderment. She can't possibly be serious right now... . Bonnie stood up, her cigarette still in hand and began taking menacing steps toward the child. "You and ah both know that you had the chance to save him!"

Clementine frowned. Wait... what? "W-what? No-no-no, what the hell did you just say?"

"You heard me! Luke is dead because of you! If you had just gone over to save him, he would be here right now but he ain't!" Bonnie flicked her cigarette to the side. "Ah ain't got nothin' more to say to you!" The redhead turned and walked away, leaving th child alone.

Clementine stood there, her stare never strayed from where Bonnie was standing a moment ago. She was still mulling over what she said about Luke being... dead?

Then everything stopped, the sound of her own breathing being the only thing she heard as she thought about the conversation she had with Luke when she first woke up. How Buricko was staring at her, why everyone seemed so... sorrowful.

She recalled back to the moment she felled under the ice, how she found Luke... . He was no longer moving, he merely floated deeper and deeper into the depths below until somebody pulled her out.

Luke was dead.

The child whipped open the doors and ran inside the shack, desperately searching for Luke. She entered the unfinished lounge, where she woke up, finding nobody but Buricko. She flounced over to him. "Where is he?" She demanded.

Buricko frowned. "Who?"

Her blood ran cold. "The guy I was talking to! When I woke up!? Where the hell is he!?" She demanded once more, her voice grew louder.

"I do not know what you talking. No one is here."

She paused as she idly stared at the man, countless thoughts racing through her mind. Luke... can't be... he cannot be dead! This was impossible! She was just talking to him a few minutes ago! They finally got a chance to talk one-on-one, Luke had apologized to her and now she was just supposed to accept that none of that was real!? That she had just imagined that!? That Luke was never there and was-what? Just an insane hallucination?

"Clementine?" She turned around, spotting Mike entering the room with a concerned look on his face. "You good? I thought I heard you scream or something, what's going on?"

"Mike!" The child exclaimed. She walked over to the man. "Where is Luke?" She asked one more time... just to be sure.

When Mike didn't answer, she knew what it was. A sorrowful look on his face. "No one told you?"

Clementine then noticed Sarah and Carlos in another room to her left that had a built-in window which they were sitting by. From a distant, the child swore the teen's eyes were red as if she had been crying. She then looked back at Mike, fearing the realization. "...N-no?"

He sighed. "Look, kid... you and Bonnie were the only ones that came outta the water." He pasued for a moment, letting it sink in. "Sarita was the one who saved you, Bonnie ended up getting out on her own but Luke... the dude never came out. Luke's... gone Clem."

The air in Clementine's lungs had left. Mike's answer had confirmed her theory, her entire conversation with Luke never happened. He was never there when she woke up, she never talked to him, he never apologized. It was all just a sick hallucination that her mind had conjured up to make her feel better.

She felt a pat on her shoulder before Mike walked away into the lounge, leaving her all alone with her thoughts.

Clementine stepped outside and sat on the steps. She saw Kenny and Sarita still working on the truck.

Luke was dead, she couldn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it, she wanted that talk with Luke to be real that he was here right now but it wasn't. He drowned in the lake and she was never going to see him again. No closure to their friendship, it ended on bad terms. They didn't chat like they used to back when they first met. It mainly consisted of them arguing with eachother but now he was gone, all because of one person.

Bonnie. He died because of her, if she had just stayed put and not gone over he'd still be alive. The child felt her anger flare up in an instant like a match being lit.

He was gone, he drowned because of her. Because of her, Clementine will never see him again, because of her their friendship ended on bad terms and that bitch told her that it was her fault!? When she was the one who directly caused his death!?

The kid was seething with hatred, her heart pumped boiling blood through her veins. She was shaking, her body struggling to contain rage that was building up inside of her by mere seconds.

First that bitch betrayed Walter by leading Carver back to the lodge like the little dog that she was. Then she got Alvin killed then she took her that prison Howe's and to top it all off, her eye was now gone and Luke was dead and what did she have to say about that!? "Luke is dead because of you!" This bitch needed to fucking die now! Right now! She needed to be fucking killed!

Bonnie slided on her belt around her pants after she was done doing her business in the woods so no one would see her. She was still sore over what had happened to Luke, Clementine had the chance to save him but she didn't took it.

That psychopath of a child was more interested in causing pain to other people rather than help them out! She was lighter than she was, she could've gone over to Luke and saved him.

Albeit she didn't know how, but they could've figure something out. It don't change the fact that Clem was light, the ice wouldn't have gave out like it did with her.

The sudden sound of a twig snapping brought the redhead out of her thoughts and she bolted around, finding nobody. She wasn't too far out into the woods, she could still see the unfinished shack just a few clicks away from the entrance.

"Bonnie." She heard but before she could do anything, she felt something sharp and jagged dive into her neck.

Clementine stabbed the woman in the neck with a pair of sharp rusty pliers she found laying around in the shack.

Bonnie recoiled away gripping the profusely bleeding puncture wound on her neck. She was stumbling around, trying to get a hold of herself but it was no use.

Gathering up morsel of strength she had in her small body, Clementine ran into the woman knocking her off balance and she fell onto the snow covered ground below her. The child pounced on top of her and proceeded to mercilessly stab the redhead over and over and over and over again with both her hands on the pliers. She was like a rabid animal, full of aggression and an endless wave of rage that wouldn't stop no matter what it mauled.

The child proceeded to lay a series of stabs into a now dead Bonnie, splattering blood all over her clothes, face and hands. She didn't stop, she was seeing red, chucnks of flesh flew everywhere even into her mouth and she still wouldn't let up. All this pent up rage for this bitch, she was finally letting it all out.

After a few moments, Clementine began to feel exhausted and with last charge, she planted the pair of rusted pliers into the mutilated woman's head. She collapsed onto her back, puffed out and feeling ecstatic. Her chest rose up and down, trying to regain her energy. Bonnie's blood soaked the snow and was leaking onto the child's clothes.

When she finally gained back her composure, Clementine pushed herself off of the snow and got back up. She took time to analyse her work and admire it. This redheaded, soulless bitch finally got what was coming to her. It was a long time coming, she didn't really think she was going to get away with this, was she? Not with everything she did.

Clementine then looked at her hands then Her eyes widened and her heart stopped. Uh oh... . Here she was standing over Bonnie's mutilated corpse, drenched in blood. Chunks of flesh and skin are splattered all over herself.

How was she going to get out of this one?
