The Avengers and JSA made it back to their base, along with all of the mutants who were being experimented on who were now sorta living in the sublevel of their base.

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch decided to look after them while the others were trying to learn where they sent jubilee.

"I swear I followed the truck they took her in all the way to that base." Teresa promised them.

"We're not doubting that, T, we're just worried about Jubilation." Courtney promised her.

"I'm doubting it." Scott confessed.

"A few minutes before we showed up, there appeared to have been a temporal anomaly." Riri said as she looked over the thermal image of the building in the footage A.M.I. took.

"What does that mean?" Yolanda asks.

"It's a bend of time and space to take someone from one place, all the way to another separate, completely different time and place." Beth told her as if that was supposed to clear everything up.

"What the heck does that mean?" Chavez questioned.

"It's science talk for teleportation." Peter explained it easier.

"Teleportation? Is that even possible?" Joey asked.

"Asked the kid who just created a portal to get us all here." Pietro reminded him.

"I mean like with technology. I use powers of mystic arts to bend the rules of the multiverse to conduct spells and conjure portals." Joey reminded him.

"You hanged out with Alice too much during Battleworld." Rick tells him.

"And what about...her?" Courtney asked as she looked towards Cindy who was just hanging around in a bundle of webbing like a dozen ropes to make a hammock.

"I'm a little jealous. Organic webbing. I always had to make synthetic webbing to swing." Peter commented in shock.

"Yeah, it was a little strange when I first learn about my powers...in fact, I was scared and didn't understand what was happening to me. My parents freaked, and a few days later on some guy came to our home." Cindy informed Peter. "He gave me the creeps, and that big head of his didn't help him."

"Pete! We need you." Robbie called him over, causing Peter to leave Cindy and walk over to the others.

"What is it?" Peter asked.

"We might have something." Daisy gestured towards their screen.

"When that new giant Sentinel came crashing through, it was sending off a large radio frequency, and it matched an area that had a similar temporal anomaly than the one at the base." Beth informed him as Chuck was showing a second location. "This one is the factory where all the normal Sentinels are created. Guess they've stepped up their factory."

"So they must've taken Jubilation there." Peter took a guess with it.

"That's our thought." Riri agreed with him.

"Then we have our next mission." Chavez tells them.

"I can't go." Robbie interrupted them, causing the team to look towards the Ghost Rider. "The Rider can't help fight without there being anyone who's spilled innocent blood...and those scientists are all innocent to him."

"Wait, what?" Scott asked. "That's always been a rule?"

"The Ghost Rider is called the Spirit of Vengeance for that reason." Robbie confirmed. "Spill innocent blood, I can find you. But this is more robots hurting people, he can't help."

"Great. We're down our strongest member." MJ groaned in anger.

"Clint and Kate are still out on the mission and Pat is still working out the kinks in the S.T.R.I.P.E. MKll." Peter added. "Okay, Robbie will need to stay and keep an eye on all of them then."

"Hey, mind if I tagged along?" Cindy asked of Peter. "I actually like kicking those Sentinels in the face."

"The more the merrier." Peter assured her.

In the same base that they were coming for, Monica was showing the footage and DNA of the subjects to the man hiding in the shadows.

"Subject 1103 has the ability to clone herself almost perfectly. Only a small color variation in her eyes." Monica stated as she zoomed in on the eyes and revealed one photo has blue eyes and the other has a left green eye.

"The cells are splitting down the center, creating two different individuals." The figure in the wheelchair said in joy. "It's like the planarian flatworm, only human!"

"Exactly. And she can retain all the memories of the original subject." Monica informed him before switching over to another individual.

This photo revealed a black teenager who had short snow white hair that went over her right eye. She had glowing yellow eyes with her powers going off in the background.

"Subject 011 has the ability of flight, weather manipulation, and a healing factor like nothing ever seen." Monica informed him before showing the rest. "And at least a half of dozen with fire based abilities. We're building an arsenal."

"Programmable power under our control." He said with a grin on his face. "No more need for heroes, no more mistakes."

An alert then appeared on their computers and revealed the jet approaching.

"It seems we're about to have some expected company." The man told Monica.

"We have to get you out of here." Monica tells him. "They're here for the girl."

That suddenly gave him an idea on to see how far they're willing to go. "Let's see just how far they'll go to save her. Release the Adaptoids."

Quake shot down the side of the building, followed by Quicksilver speeding his way inside and knocking out all of the guards with ease.

"Clear!" Pietro called out for the others as they came in.

"Really? Only scientists?" Rick asked. "You'd think this place would have better security than that."

"Riri?" Peter called her out for her part.

"A.M.I., shut down this lab." Riri asked of her AI who went straight to work. But just as she began, the purple lightning came back and consumed her entire armor. "Ahhh! Who's doing this?"

"I-I-I-I'm n-no-n-on..."

They all then watched as the giant Sentinels began to wake up and took aim at the mutants.

"I'm really starting to hate my job." Bobbie confesses.

Jubilee was waiting for something to happen when she suddenly saw the shield around her cell to start glitching.

Jubilee smiles and sees this might be her chance of escaping. "Time to blow this joint!" She then threw her hands out and the fireworks came flying out and shattered the glass. "I'm free!"

Jubilee then ran down the halls, but as soon as she did, she came face to face with another Sentinel. "Halt, mutant."

"Please..." Jubilee began to break down. "I just wanna go home..."

Just then, a flash of green light came flying in and smashed the Sentinel. They all looked and saw a giant human form that punched the Sentinel's head clean off.

"Bet you didn't see this coming!" Jessica Cruz cheered as she had a giant smile on her face.

"Un identified mutant." The second Sentinel stated and tried to blast her with its lasers, but Jessica created a shield with her ring. Just as she did, another came and punched her into the ground.

Jessica fell and landed face first into the ground before getting back up with a angered look. "Okay...now I'm angry!"

Jessica quickly turned around and created a giant gun that fired, revealing to be a toy gun as a banner with the word BANG! written on it as it tore straight through the sentinel, shutting it down.

Seeing her works done, Jessica flew over to Jubilee. "What do you saw we get you out of here?"

With the others, Cindy swings around the legs of the Sentinel, causing it to fall. "And that's why Empire is my favorite of the movies."

Peter webbed one of their hands and as the Sentinel tried to shoot its laser, the webbing stopped it and caused an explosion, damaging it. "You really make jokes in the middle of battles?"

"I call them as I see them!" Cindy stated as she shot the webs out of her fingertips and used them to swing off.

"Great, there's two of them." Yolanda sighed as she clawed through one of their legs.

"One was freaking bad enough!" Rick stated.

Jessica then flew down and saw all of her friends were already here. "Hey, guys!"

"Where the hell were you?" Riri asked her as she used her lasers to cut off another head.

"I was on a mission back on Oa. Sorry for being a member of the universe's police force." Jessica apologized as they all began to make their way out and allowed Quake to destroy the building while Quicksilver got everyone out of it.

They won this battle, but the war is not over yet.

After they returned to their headquarters, they know they need to do something with their basement of Mutants and Inhumans. These kids have nowhere to go, send them back to their homes then AIM will most likely just come back for them.

"What do we do about them?" Courtney asked as she and Peter watched the footage of the kids.

"There has to be somewhere safe they can go." Peter agreed with a sigh.

"I might know somewhere." Wanda offered.

They then took a flight to Upstate New York to an old mansion that looks like it was recently cleaned up.

"What is this place?" Rick asked as they were all out of their suits and in casual attire.

"The X-Men Mansion." Beth answered him. "The original school for gifted youngsters."

"Why are we here?" Scott questioned.

"Because our dad heard of our predicament and thought we would need this place. He spent the past few months to fix it up." Pietro explained.

"Magneto's still out there?" Scott asked. "Should we be worried?"

"Nah, he's not gonna be a problem." Wanda promised.

"You want us to move the kids here?" Peter asked and saw how big the place is. "I guess it's as good an idea as any."

"Yeah, I agree." Courtney thought it the best thing they can do for now.

"Wow, you guys reach the stage of relationship where you agree on everything?" Bobbie asked jokingly.

That caused Peter and Courtney to freeze and neither them had anything to say after that.

"Then who's gonna look after them?" MJ asked. "These guys can't stay here alone."

"I can." Daisy offered to them. "If AIM comes back, I can help fight them off, and I was homeschooled for a while so I can teach them a little."

"We can help with that." Wanda offered from her and her brother.

"You guys sure?" Scott asks, but that was actually rhetorical. "Okay." He said as if he didn't want to talk about this further and strolled back to the jet.

After some time, they got everyone out of the base with help of Joey and Clarice using their portal powers as they began to be moved in. But someone seemed missing as he looked and saw one mutant was missing.

"Where's Cindy?" Peter asks.

"Huh...I thought she was here." Joey said while he was keeping the portal open.

Peter went back to Blue Valley and took a walk down to see Cindy looking in on the window of her home.

But she didn't seem to be going in and Peter finally saw why when he remembered that the Moon family left town a while ago.

"They...they're not here?" Cindy asked as she felt Peter approach with her spider senses.

"They moved a while ago, we all thought that you moved with them." Peter confessed.

"The spider bite...it took a whole year of my life; they could be anywhere." She stated as she began to tear up and Peter placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. "And now my family's gone...you wouldn't understand." She stated before pushing Peter off of her and walked away a little.

"You'd be surprised." Peter stated as he stopped her. "A lot of things have changed since the last you saw the town."

Cindy looked down in sadness and cried a little and pulled into Peter who gave her a returning hug.

"Where am I going to stay now?" Cindy questioned.

"If you don't want to stay at the superhuman mansion, there's a room available with us." Peter offered.

Cindy looked up to Peter with a happy smile on her face before pulling him into another hug.

The rest of the team all split up for the night to get home, not knowing that their war has only just began to get strange.

"So...why did you come back?" Joey asked Jessica as they strolled home.

"Because...when the ring chose me...I wasn't the only one." Jessica informed him, stating there's someone else out there gifted with the Green Lantern ring.

Teresa was also on her way out, but just then she got a message from Maria Hill who needs her back in Washington for a mission.

In the same hospital that last year Courtney and Peter were treated at after Sabretooth and Shiv was holding a young girl who was previously struck by purple lightning. She was being looked over by Dr. Meena Dhawan who noticed every other part of her body began phasing at super speed.

"I wonder how this happened." Meena whispered as she thought she was the only one like this. Except she had training from Jay Garrick, AKA...The Flash.

Peter returned home with a sigh of relief with Cindy just when Lucky came running over to the door, barking in joy at the sight of Peter.

Lucky was one of the many slight differences between this timeline of Pre and Post-Battleworld.

He's a golden retriever that Clint rescued during his time with the original Avengers. He was a dog that originally belonging to the Tracksuit Mafia. Clint showed him some kindness, and he repaid that kindness by attacking one of Ivan's men who was shooting at him.

He almost paid the price for saving Clint though, as Ivan's men beat him and threw him into traffic. He barely survived, but Clint rushed him to a veterinary hospital and then took ownership of the dog and renamed him Lucky.

"Hey, buddy!" Peter greets the dog as he kneels down and allows the dog to lick his face. "Yeah, I missed you, too."

"Peter, you back?" Lila called from upstairs.

"Yeah, Aunt Lila, it's me." Peter confirmed as he started scratching Lucky behind his ears and then getting up as the dog started circling Cindy. "And...we might have a guest."

Downtown, in one of AIM's secure facilities, they were all running away in fear of what's coming after them. One of the men ahead of them was suddenly punched by something they couldn't see and was sent flying.

The others then looked around and tried shooting what it was, but a figure suddenly appeared in the middle of the room.

The figure resembled Ant-Man's suit, but instead of the black and dark red, this suit was all black, but the front was also all yellow designed that resembled a bee.

The figure then smacked one of the other men before a blast came out of her wrists and hits another of their knees, taking them down.

The figure than shrank down and revealed to have wings in the suit as they rammed another one into the wall. One went running at the new one, but it ended with the figure leaping from their unconscious friends and kicking him in the face.

When then went off running again, the figure grabbed a nearby book and threw it at the doorway, followed by the figure shooting the book. When the blast reached the book, the book grew and blocked the doorway so they couldn't escape.

One of them found a gun and opened fire, but they shrunk down again and did a backflip so they could dodge all of the bullets and then flew up to him and threw him through a window.

Seeing the figure defeated the AIM scientists, they walked over to their computers and shrank their PC's for easier transport before marching out of the building.

Once the figure escaped with the PC's and made it somewhere secure, they removed the mask and revealed to be Hope Van Dyne.

The daughter of the Ant-Man and the Wasp has taken up her mother's mantle and was currently on a mission.

And it all starts off with the biggest mission yet.

Find out who Ant-Man is.

Robbie was looking down at his chain and wondered what he's going to do.

He's not going to be much help with these scientists and Mutants or Metahumans since none of them have actually spilled blood.

Joey's body was at home and resting in his bed while his astral projection was still reading through the book of spells to see how much he can learn in the night, and also he had a test to study for before he decided to just keep going.

No one said everything regarding the mystic arts had to defend the world.

It began to rain on MJ's walk back home, so she didn't try and fly, no idea if the rain might affect it, but why risk it? She was walking down the soaking roads and sees no cars or people on the road and was lost in her mind just as she suddenly walked into somebody who tripped her up.

"Oh, sorry." MJ apologizes as she looked up and saw a girl with short red hair and she looked and noticed for a blimp second she saw that her eyes looked like they were glowing, but MJ supposed it was the lightning.

Before she could speak even more, the girl just got up and ran off, leaving MJ confused to what's wrong with her and guesses she's just trying to get home.

But what was even stranger was when MJ turned away, she started hearing howling from where the girl was running and noticed she vanished.

Courtney was just spinning the Staff around in her basement, lost in her thoughts questioning about what to do about the whole situation between her and Peter as it seems it might get in the way in the future.

Sighing, she placed the Cosmic Staff down as she needed some time to truly think.

But it seems that the night had other ideas for her...

"COURTNEY!" A voice echoed through the basement, quickly followed by an explosion, sending Courtney falling back when she looked up to see a portal of white open in the middle of the room.

Sparks of electricity were sent flying through the portal, followed by a figure coming through the sphere of energy.

The figure apparently wore no gloves, their sleeve up from their arm to their elbow were black with stripes of yellow around them, and the rest of their suit was all light purple (or dark pink), and the boots, from what she could see, were also the same as the gloves.

Their mask was only covering her eyes and had two lightning bolts covering around her ears. On her chest was a lightning symbol with a circle around it, that had one side of it black and the other white. Her hair was short cut raven colored, but it also had a streak of dark pink (or light purple) in it and Courtney noticed her brown eyes filled with fear.

"Listen to me now!" The new girl cried out to Courtney as her voice echoed through the entire basement as if it was sometimes being echoed before she even began to speak.

The girl tried her best to push through the portal as if something were holding her back as Courtney could only see her right hand being held out to her.

As she talked, her mask began to scorch, revealing her face a bit more, but not enough for Courtney to see her face clear enough due to the blaring light.

"It's May! It's May Parker! She's the key!" The girl cried out in terror, only confusing Courtney more as she looked seriously confused by this, and the girl seems to have recognized it. "Am I too soon?" She questioned and was shot back for a blink second before returning back to her spot, her mask deteriorating every passing second. "I'm too soon! You were right about Peter. It's because of him! Fear him!" She then began to be pulled back through the breach. "Find us, Court! You have to find us..."

Courtney then watched as the light slowly vanishes and left her completely confused as to what she just witnessed. She looked around, wondering exactly she just saw as a broom fell a few feet from her, causing her to jump and shriek.

ONE YEAR AGO...

Simon Baz was currently inside one of the dangerous street races in Blue Valley. The exact same one that Robbie Reyes was supposed to be at. The same one that changed his destiny.

"Now, if our fly flag girl can step up, we're ready to begin!" The announcer says as Simon sat behind the wheel and looked to his opponent.

The two started deadly at each other until the flag was waved and they race off. But the shocking thing was that not even five seconds into driving, they watched as a giant shuttle type thing came crashing down, causing the opposing car to crash into it, and the debris blinded Simon, causing him to stop.

Simon climbed off out of his car and made his way over to the other racer but was shocked to see he and his car was nowhere to be seen.

All that remained was this small box.

Simon went down to the box and opened it and was shocked to see it was nothing more than a ring.

"A ring? From outer space?" Simon questioned when he picked it up and was suddenly blinded by a green light.
