THREE YEARS AGO: EGYPT

Outside of a newly discovered ancient temple, Elias Spector was wiping off the sweat from the beating sun, sighing from the hot day.

"Easy there, Spector, don't want you fainting on us." Raul Bushman tells his friend jokingly as they finally got the doors to the shrine open.

"Let's just see what dead end we run into this time." Elias sighed as he and Raul made their way inside the temple.

"Dad!" Marc Spector cried as his father turned to face him with a smile.

"There's my little man." Elias said happily as he kneeled down and ruffled his hair. "What are you doing out of the tent?"

"Can I come with you?" Marc asked him, getting straight to the point.

Elias chuckled and just knew he was gonna ask that. "I don't think that'll be a safe option."

"Please, dad?" Mark pleaded with his dad.

Elias sighed and knew he wasn't good at saying no to his son, who's just as exploratious as his old man. Besides, his men are scouting the temple ahead, meaning they'll be the first to find anything dangerous.

"Okay, fine. But that means you stay by my side, do exactly what I tell you, when I tell you." Elias told him the rules as Marc giddied in excitement.

"Yes, father." Marc promises as the two then made their way inside of the temple.

Inside, they used their torches and flashlights to light up the area as they pushed away the overgrown trees and cobwebs in order to reach a gigantic opening. But what was surprising was it was entirely empty.

"Another dead end?" One of the explores asked.

"Check for any secret compartments. You know just how much they loved their hidden rooms." Elias demanded everyone to begin searching.

"So what exactly are we searching in this place?" Raul asked his friend. "We've come this far, might as well tell us."

Elias sighed and knew he had a point and decided to just tell them. "This temple is for the worshippers of Khonsu. God of the Moon. Said to hold ancient treasures for them all."

Marc was right beside his father when he looked and saw a small statue up to his height and thought he saw it began to glow in the eyes. When he reached out to touch it, that's when his father discovered what he was doing.

"Marc!" Elias cried when Marc touched it and suddenly an entire portion of the wall opened up to them, revealing all that was promised from Elias.

"Oh my god." Rail said in amazement of what he was seeing, as they all looked and searched the room.

"Nice work there, buddy." Elisa said as he walked over and picked up his son. "Your first find. I'm proud of you."

Marc chuckled as he looked up and they discovered a gigantic statue in honor of Khonsu.

"This has got to be our biggest find yet." Raul said. "We'll be getting the biggest payday of our lives after this."

"What?" Elias asked as he turned back to Raul and lets Marc down. "Payday? What are you talking about? This stuff belongs in a museum, not stashed on someone's shelf."

"Oh, why did you have to be so noble, Elias? And why would you take your kid down just to see this?" Raul asked as he revealed a gun and aimed it at Elias.

"Hey!" Elias cried as he backed away and raised his hands while pushing Marc behind him. "Put it down. We can talk about this."

Raul smiled and looked down at the young boy. "No. We can't." He then shot; a giant bang sent throughout all of the cave.

"Dad!" Marc cried as he ran over to his dad and held onto him.

"Load what you can, we'll come back for the rest. Grab the kid." Raul demanded of his men.

But just then, an entire light filled the room, originating from the statue of Khonsu. And before anything else could be said or heard, they hear someone speaking to them. Or at least Marc hears someone talking.

"Do you wish for a chance to avenge your father? I can give you that power."

"What...what do I have to do?" Marc asked.

"Become my avatar. Walk amongst the mortals for me. Spread vengeance in my wake. I will give you the power to do so...Now arise!"

Marc then woke back up and was shocked to see the temple was empty, and even his father was missing.

"How long was I gone?" Marc asked and even noticed his voice sounded deeper. "oh my god. It's cold."

He then walked over to the statue of Khonsu and took the cloak that was on him for warmth.

But he had one mission in mind. One name in mind.

Raul Bushman.

PRESENT DAY:

MJ was walking through the halls when she recognized a familiar face in the halls. It was the girl she saw in the rain a few days back.

She was 5′2″ 1.57 m. 110 lbs., grass green eyes and had short red hair. The girl noticed that MJ was staring and was wondering why. "Can I help you?"

"Sorry, I don't know if you remember me, considering that we met in the rain, and we could barely see past our faces, but I'm the girl you ran into on the street." MJ explained to her.

"Oh, that's you!" She recognized and was starting to blush. "Yeah, sorry about that. I was in a rush to get home, and...I'm a little afraid of storms."

"Really?" MJ asked.

"It's just the noise." She explained as she scratched her ears to explain it. "I have sensitive hearing."

"Oh, yeah, I have a friend like that." MJ understood that. "I'm Michelle Jones. But people I know call me MJ."

"Rahne. Rahne Sinclair." She introduced herself to MJ.

Just across the hall, Peter and Cindy were looking at MJ and the girl. Both of them were shocked when they watched MJ as she played with her hair and even blushed.

"What's happening?" Peter asked Cindy.

"I don't know. But this is the first time I saw MJ blush or mess with her hair like that since her crush on me." Cindy stated without even taking her eyes off their conversation.

Just then, they watched as MJ chuckled at something she said and felt their insides flinch.

"Oh my god, she made her laugh!" Peter whispered in shock. "What is happening?"

"This is incredible." Cindy stated, this being a historic moment for the two of them.

Pat and Robbie were currently talking as Robbie was just stopping by to grab his tools from the garage.

"I gotta say, it's gonna be hard to see you go, Robbie." Pat admits.

"Yeah, I know. But I'm not going to be able to do much since none of the people we're fighting have spilled innocent blood." Robbie sighed. "They're better off without me. Besides, there's a lot of people out there who haven't been brought to justice. They need to be stopped."

"Well, I hope we meet again soon." Pat said as Robbie closed the trunk of his car.

"Don't worry, you will." Robbie promised as he looked over to Pat when his eyes began to glow fiery red. "When you spill innocent blood." He then got into the car and drove off to pick up his brother.

THAT NIGHT:

At the same time that Courtney was fighting Kendall, and Scott was being abducted...something else was happening with the other guys.

If you had to pick the strangest night of your life, it'd easily be a normal day compared to life in Blue Valley.

Example: a normal night out to the movies between three friends, and you wish you stayed later or left earlier...it'll make sense later.

"Oh, come on. It wasn't that bad." Joey defended as he was leaving the theater with Bobbie and Rick, carrying the rest of the popcorn as they all split a jumbo bucket.

"Seriously?" Bobbie asked with a shock expression. "The action was okay, I'll give the movie that, but it was just stupid. The CGI was terrible, killing off a hero in the last movie just to bring him back in the next one is stupid, and did they rip off the ending of Rise of the Guardians with that ending?"

"Underrated movie." Joey muttered.

"They don't know how to world build." Rick agreed with Bobbie. "But who knows, maybe we'll get a director's cut that'll make it a whole lot better."

"I don't have faith in that ever happening." Bobbie stated and took a handful of the popcorn bucket. "Not to mention the fact the lead is the same as the guy from the Twilight movies is kinda ridiculous."

"Okay, now you're being nit-picky." Joey informed his friend before they heard someone scream in an alleyway and was followed by a gunshot.

The three of them all look confused before running to find out what that scream was about. Bobbie quickly icing up, Joey removing his glasses whilst the Cloak just floated towards them, and Rick put on the hourglass for defense.

What they ran in to see, they were extremely shocked at what they saw. AIM has set this sort of curfew for the town to be put by until they sent out these freaks in gigantic hazmat suits.

And that's exactly what they found. One of their guys in the hazmat suits...what's left of him at least. The whole suit was torn up and looked like it was mauled, as well as did the man inside.

Then there was someone a dark woman with long flowing hair holding a gun, unconscious on the ground.

"What the heck happened here?" Rick asked in shock.

Joey worked fast and kneeled down. Closing his eyes, his chest then began to glow and what they saw was his necklace began to open, revealing an eyeball.

"What the hell is that?" Rick asked.

"The Eye of Agamotto." Joey answered as the eye then revealed a light and began to reveal what happened when the AIM Agent made its way down the alley. "It can show events that transpired."

"You carry someone's eye in a necklace?" Bobbie clarified.

"I...suppose you can look at it that way." Joey guessed.

"That seems to be the only way to look at it." Rick stated as the eye showed the AIM Agent getting attacked by a shadowy figure and him crying in terror.

"God, what could do that?" Bobbie asked as they watched as the AIM Agent was mauled by the shadowy figure.

They heard someone whimpering and quickly turned around to see someone curled up in a corner, scared half to death. But what they didn't know was that this was MJ's new friend Rahne. She was curled and crying, and they noticed what looked like blood coming from her stomach.

"Oh my god!" Bobbie said as he raced over and saw the bullet went straight through her. "We need to get her to a hospital."

"Joey, get me there, I'll take her." Rick offered and raced over to pick her up.

The girl whined in pain as she was being picked up. "Sorry. Hey, what's your name?"

"Rahne." The girl introduced herself.

"Oh, it's you." Joey recognized as he and her actually have PE together in school as he quickly placed his sling ring on and opened a portal just outside the hospital. "Rick, get her to the hospital."

Rick quickly picked up the girl and made it through, and they closed the portal behind them.

"What do we do about her?" Bobbie asked as they looked at the black girl who's laying unconscious.

"She's probably the one who shot the bullet. So we need some answers from her. And maybe a confession." Joey guesses.

"Where do you wanna bring her? This girl looks like she's set up for war." Bobbie stated as they saw just how many weapons this girl was carrying.

"I might have something." Joey promises.

Kendall and Courtney were standing in the middle of the currently destroyed kitchen, currently both facing away from one another.

But suddenly the staff began to wrestle its way out of Courtney's grasp in order to get back at Kendall who raised her hands and began to get ready for a second fight.

"Hey! Stop it!" Courtney demanded the staff as she held it back from Kendall as she backed away. "The fight is over!" The staff then finally stopped fighting against Courtney and quieted down. "Go to your crate."

The Cosmic Staff then floated down the hall and into the basement, leaving the family and unexpected guest behind.

"I apologize for the damage done to your home." Kendall apologized to the family as Pat was looking around the kitchen and all of the scorched marks that were left from their battle with the island cut in half and the scorch marks all over the walls. "I got a little carried away. I have been told I have problems controlling my anger. Something I'm told I got from my father. I didn't exactly come here expecting a fight. I...I couldn't control myself. Lost control."

"Yeah, looks like things went out of control." Pat agreed with her.

"I mean, look at what you did, Court." Barbra sighed at the damage mostly came from the Cosmic Staff and a few leaves and broken locks were as much damage that Kendall did.

"Me?" Courtney asked in shock. "She broke in, Pat. Who knows what she's here for, probably to steal something for AIM."

"I'm not working for anyone or here to steal anything." Kendall promises them. "I...I thought I smelled my parents."

"Smelled your parents?" Mike asked her as he picked up a chunk of ice that Kendall created.

"I have my father's heightened senses." Kendall explains.

"Your father?" Pat asks.

"My parents were Logan and Ororo Munroe." Kendall explained to him and then Pat looked completely shocked to hear that.

"Do those names mean anything?" Barbra asked Pat, seeing how shocked he was to hear those names.

"Logan and Ororo were members of the X-Men." Pat explained how he knew them. "We called them the Wolverine and Storm. He had animal like instincts and claws made out of Adamantium, lived all the way back to World War One and a healing factor. Storm had the ability to manipulate the weather, she could conjure up snow storms, tornados, summon bolts of lightning, and just about anything to even creating tsunamis. She was a woman you didn't want to mess with."

"I...I thought my parents were here. In this town." Kendall said with a sadden look. "When I was a child, my parents sent me to a friend's house. Said they would be back for me in a week. Next thing I know, I learn that my mother and father are murdered. I...I thought I started to sense they were alive. But I guess that it must've just been something else." She then sighed and noticed she forgot to introduce herself properly. "My name's Kendall. Who exactly are you?" Wondering how exactly he knows so much about her parents.

"I'm Pat Dugan." Pat introduced himself.

"Pat Dugan? Stripsey?" Kendall asked in amazement. "Oh, my god, you're a legend to the X-Men."

"He is?" Courtney asked in shock.

"I am?" Pat asked.

"You built the Star-Rocket Racer. You're the only person Hank McCoy actually appreciates and respects." Kendall said when she suddenly lit up only to become sad again. "Did respect..." She then looked towards Courtney. "I saw you. You and your friends back at the AIM Facility. You're the new Starman."

"Stargirl." Courtney corrected her.

"So, he trained you?" Kendall asked and got a nod from Courtney and looked to Pat. "Do you think that you can help me control my powers? They've only recently shown themselves and I'm not sure how to control it." She then put her hand on the island, and they watched as she accidentally began to cover it with snow.

Before it went too deep, Buddy came running in barking at the new guest who kneeled down to him.

"Hi there." Kendall greeted the animal and started to scratch his head. "You're so cute. And slobbery."

Later on, they got Kendall set up in Courtney's room for the night, looking for something to set up something better for the future.

NEXT MORNING:

Scott then began to wake up and noticed he was tied down in a chair. Quickly thinking, he moved his fingers and tried to hit his button to shrink, only to realize that his gloves have been removed. He then began to try and untie his hands and pry himself free, but it seemed useless.

"Don't bother. I removed everything down to the Pym Particles." Someone said, causing Scott to look and see the person who knocked him out, and her mask was open and revealed she was indeed a girl, her short black hair was up in a ponytail. "You and I are going to be having a long conversation."

"Uh...about what?" Scott asked, unsure how this conversation is going to go.

"About that suit. About where you got it. And about where my father is." Hope recapped and that caused Scott to look very worried about how this conversation will end.

"Oh, boy..." Scott whispered, not looking forward to this conversation.

Peter was going to his locker to make sure it was cleared out when his senses warned him of Cindy's approach.

"Hey, did you notice MJ wasn't here today?" Cindy asked Peter.

"Yeah, she went to visit that Sinclair girl that the guys sent to the hospital." Peter told her.

"You don't think MJ has...a crush on her, do you?" Cindy asked.

"MJ is a confusing woman." Peter stated as he then looked and saw his Spider-Man suit still inside of his bag in the middle of the locker.

"You not gonna take that?" Cindy asked him.

Peter sighed and knew he did need to take it out due to the end of the year and picked it up.

"What's happening with you?" Cindy was curious to know. "I mean, you seem...different since I last saw you a year ago."

Peter stopped and sighed. "A lot happened, Cindy. Remember my father?"

"The one that died?" Cindy asked.

"Yeah, turns out he didn't die." Peter stated and saw Cindy looked shocked. "Yeah, I know. And then...something happened. Something gigantic, I'll tell you the whole story later. But he ended up sacrificing his life to save us...and yeah, it was scarring."

"Oh, Peter." Cindy understood why he was so distant and pulled her friend in for a hug. Then Peter returned the hug and stayed there when she noticed she's gonna be late. "Well, I gotta get to class. See you afterwards."

"See ya. I gotta get to therapy anyways." Peter told her and sighed as she walked down, and he looked down at his suit still in his bag when his father's voice entered his head again.

"They never cared for us! They're ungrateful! We risked our lives everyday and did they care?! No! They tried to restrain us! Said we were dangerous! We make one mistake and it suddenly outweighs all the good we've ever done!"

"There isn't any hope for this world. If you want to waste your life on them, go ahead. I'll be living out my final moments on my terms."

"I thought it'd be better if I didn't add the last of my kids to my line of failures. I wanted to protect you. I can't change what I've done."

"Promise...promise me...Promise me...you'll look after each other..."

Peter then shook himself free of whatever the heck that was as he sees his mask isn't helping his condition. He walked out of the school and wondered what he's going to do.

Robbie was driving off with the car dragging the moving container with all of their things. The road was crystal clear with nobody around for miles, considering nobody really visits Blue Valley and nobody really leaves it either.

"So where are we going?" Gabriel asked.

"Wherever you want. I'm in the seat, but the destination is all up to you." Robbie informed him.

"Let's see how far we can go then." Gabriel supposed.

Robbie smiled as he then felt something was off and began looking around the road, missing the sparks floating in the middle of the road up ahead.

"Robbie!" Gabe got his brothers attention a few seconds too late as the portal opened to somewhere unrecognizable and he slammed on the breaks. But when he did, the portal then moved and consumed the car itself and brought them somewhere completely different.

"Stay in the car." Robbie tells Gabe and opens the door.

"Not going anywhere." Gabe said sarcastically as his brother got out and looked around the dark and empty room.

"Okay, Joey, this is a little over the line, isn't it?" Robbie asked as he grabbed the chain out of the trunk for safe keeping.

"Not Joey." A female voice said when the entire room suddenly lit up and revealed that he was in some sort of building that had a gigantic window at the top of a very large staircase. "But the real deal." The woman's voice returned, and he saw someone with long white flowing hair and wearing an outfit that looked similar to Joey's Strange attire.

"Who are you?" Robbie asked, getting ready to fight as he dropped one piece of the chain and got ready to swing it.

"I am Clea. The true Sorceress Supreme." Clea introduced herself before blasting Robbie that stopped him from connecting to the Ghost Rider and knocking him out. "And I need you and your friends' help me to stop Dormammu from escaping the Dark Dimension."

"They're asleep." A ghostly voice said, causing Clea to turn and face a ghostly Beagle floating in the middle of the room. "They can't hear you."

"I know, Bats." Clea sighed to the annoying dog. "I know."

TWENTY YEARS LATER...

A figure ran through the overgrown jungle wasteland and made it into the New York City subway system, which is still functional due to them getting it running again. She stayed hidden when she heard what sounded like dogs barking and followed by a pack of mutants that were bread from birth to hunt their fellow mutants.

Once she saw it was safe, the figure removed her goggles and scarf off of her face to reveal an adult Cindy Moon. She then got inside of the train and got it started to get her to the Resistance Base. Cindy reached down and picked up her radio.

"This is Cindy." Cindy reported through the radio. "I've got what we need, and I'm on my way back to base."

"Great job, Silk. We'll be there when you arrive." Someone on the other end confirmed and Cindy finally relaxed.

She has been running for hours. Searching for this one small fragment. The Crimson Gem Of Cyttorak. A powerful crystal that'll power their device in order to save their world...before it's too late.

But before she became too comfy, she then sensed something very, very wrong with the environment. She got up and started getting prepared with a fight with whoever might be on board.

She closed her eyes and began to listen to her senses to try and feel for what set them off the first time. Then it suddenly hit her as she turned around and got ready for a fight and saw that there was a figure hiding in the shadows.

"You won't win. Not against me. Not against the Resistance." Cindy promises.

The figure sighed and revealed a woman as she walked out of the shadows and revealed it was nonother than Yolanda Montez in her Wildcat suit.

"I've been requested to bring you in. He misses you; you know." Yolanda tells Cindy.

"Yeah, well, tell Kang that I don't believe in his future." Cindy stated.

"He figured you'd say that. But he also told me to relay another message..." Yolanda said as she raised her fingers and released the claws. "Dead or alive, you're coming with me."

Cindy sighed and got into her fighting stance. "Then come at me."

Yolanda charged at Cindy and went to claw at her when Cindy shot dozens of webs out and attached them to the side of the car and shielded them apart. But that only worked for a quick second when Yolanda cut through the webbing like it was nothing.

Cindy leaped and kicked her in the face, before landing on a pole and used it to spin and dodge another slice from Yolanda who went through the bar and kicked Cindy before she could get another attack in.

Cindy groaned as she leaped and kicked onto the ceiling and kicked through to get on top of the train. Yolanda quickly followed and used her cat suit powers in order to stay on top of the train.

"Didn't think you'd get away that easily, did you?" Yolanda asked.

"Kinda hoping." Cindy confessed. "Why are you so hellbent on helping Kang? Don't you see what he's doing? He's destroying the world. Anyone who disagrees with him, he kills!"

"He saved my life. He is the only chance the world has left." Yolanda stated. "Without him, I would be long dead with the rest of the multiverse."

"Maybe death was a better ending." Cindy sighed as she raced down to the front of the train as Yolanda quickly ran and leaped down to tackle Cindy and they were on top of a rusted piece of the car and the two of them ended up falling down and getting cut on the way.

Cindy however only winced for a second before punching Yolanda in the face, but her suit was taking most of the damage with ease. Yolanda then used her claws and cut open Cindy's cheek and caused her to wince and back away.

"Gah!" Cindy cried as she backs away and held on her cheek as she began to bleed out. "Okay, now I'm pissed."

"Good." Yolanda said proudly before kicking Cindy and getting another cut at her chest, causing her to cry out again. Cindy dropped to her knees and held onto her stomach. "Honestly, I thought we could still be friends. I kinda missed you, Cindy. Kang's empire could still use you."

Cindy looked and saw the door behind Yolanda was broken. She slowly got back on her feet as her entire body was burning and felt like it was in scorching pain. She got up and looked like she was holding back tears of agonizing pain.

Which she was.

"I...I..." Cindy whispered before using all of her strength to kick Yolanda and sent her flying out of the train and tumbling.

Cindy sighed and knew she did what she needed to do to survive in this wasteland. Yolanda was her friend, but that was a long time ago. Before everything fell apart. Before the multiverse ended.
