FIVE MONTHS AGO:

Hope Van Dyne was in her bedroom and messing with the dials on the radio, listening to some music when her sister came in.

"Hey, what's with the constant static?" Nadia Van Dyne asked as she came in to her room.

"The radio seems to be busted." Hope guessed as she leaned back and finished messing with the dials.

"Well, the thing is pretty old." Nadia said as she walked over next to her. "It was bound to break eventually."

"I know, but...it was the last thing me and dad did together." Hope explains with sorrow in her voice. "I was hoping to make it last."

"Sorry I can't help." Nadia apologized.

"Not your fault." Hope stated.

"H-llo?" A voice came through on their radios static. "Girls?"

"Is that..?" Nadia couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"Dad?" Hope asked.

"Girls, you - - - - Advanced I- - - - -Mech-nics. Need - - - Help - -"

"No, no, no." Hope cried as she messed with the dials again to try and get the voice back but ended only getting her music back. "Dad? Dad?!"

PRESENT DAY:

Meena tossed a vial in the middle of a secure hospital room just as Avery sped and caught it before using the wall to stop herself.

"I'm okay!" Avery promised.

"You sure are." Meena said with a grin.

"I'm a superhero!" Avery cried as she placed the vial down. "I feel like my entire body's going to burst. This is psychotically impossible. Oh, man, how are my folks gonna react?"

"Oh. You can't tell them." Meena tells her, causing Avery to stop and look confused. "The more people that know about this, the more likely someone will tell people like someone for AIM. If they learn about you, you're off to the nearest test tube.

"Uh...I...I understand." Avery said a little nervous of keeping a secret from her parents. "But...what do I do about my powers? I mean, everything begins to scorch up every time I run around my clothes burn up."

"I might be able to help with that." Meena promises and had Avery follow her. They went down to the subbasement of the hospital where she pulled a special suitcase and revealed a suit. "This is something that a friend of mine made. Fireproof, friction proof, could withstand anything someone like you can throw at it."

"Hm." Avery said as she picked it up and got a good look at the suit.

The mask would only be covering her eyes and it even had two lightning bolts covering around the ears for radios. On the chest was a lightning symbol with a circle around it, that had one side of it black and the other white. Her hair was short cut raven colored, but it also had a streak of dark pink (or light purple).

"I like it. Why do you have it?" Avery wondered.

"A friend of mine gave it to me. Jay Garrick. Also known as the Flash." Meena tells her.

Rahne was later kept in a similar spell that was currently keeping Fallon secure until the team knew what to do with her.

"So...MJ's crush is a werewolf?" Bobbie asked.

"Yep." Peter confirmed with a sigh. "Only in Blue Valley."

"Actually, she's not a werewolf." Pat stated as he walked over with a file in-hand. "She's a mutant."

"Mutant?" Bobbie asked. "With the ability to transform into a wolf?"

"Not one of the strangest abilities mutants have gained." Pat commented. "There was this one kid who had the ability to create signs and symbols on his body."

"That was his power?" Rick asked, feeling that's a lame power.

"You wanna see lamer? Black Bolt's brother ability is to be human." Pat informed him on dumber powers.

"Okay. I stand corrected." Bobbie guessed.

"But how come it's like a werewolf?" Teresa asked. "Like, she doesn't remember transforming. She doesn't remember devouring those two guys."

"Simple. She's a cold blooded killer." Fallon stated from her bubble as she was leaning against it.

"Joey, can we mute her?" Chavez asked him.

"Yeah, sure, give me a moment." Joey said as he waved his hands, sparks flying off of his fingertips as he made it so the bubble was no longer see through and she couldn't hear or speak though it.

"Won't she starve to death or something in there?" Kendall asked.

"Nah, the bubble keeps her alive. It's an inescapable cell, even though death." Joey promised.

"So what exactly are we even going to do with her?" Rick wonders. "We can't keep her in there."

"Well, she grows up in a foster home, so technically we can." Beth commented, getting creeped out looks from everyone else. "Okay, I heard how that sounds. I understand the faces."

"Why are we discussing this? We already know what to do. Help her control these powers." MJ stated to them. "That's really the only thing we can do."

"Killing her is still on the table!" Fallon stated.

"I thought she was muted." Riri stated.

"Well, I enhanced the walls. She can still hear and talk if loud enough." Joey defended.

"We're not killing her!" MJ stated to the psychotic woman.

"Who even is Blade? He said he's her father." Bobbie asked Pat who was shocked to hear this.

"Blade was a Vampire Hunter, sorta a loose card around the Avengers." Pat explained to them.

"Vampires?" Joey asked.

"You're a magician who uses magic, and you draw the line at vampires?" Rick asked him.

"I like some sense of normalcy in my life." Joey stated.

"What happened to Blade?" Beth asked.

"Blade died against a battle with Dracula." Pat answered her. "But I never knew he had a daughter."

"No one did." Fallon stated.

Joey sighed and wished he knew how to make her actually silent.

MJ walked outside to get some air. The first girl she is actually interested in that isn't her friend and seems to like her back, is a werewolf. As she was questioning what to do when she felt something prick her neck and then began to feel her knees become weak and fell unconscious.

Hope was working on the radio with a pair of headphones to try and get back into contact with her father as Scott sees she's gonna be busy for a minute.

Seeing his only opening, he leaned his head over and knocked his ear against his shoulder to activate his commlink. "Guys, anyone there?"

The team then heard Scott's voice and was shocked to hear it.

"Scott, where are you?" Courtney asked.

"Uh, I've been kidnapped. By Ant-Man's daughter." Scott informed them.

"Oh, god, what is this? Reveal your daughters to the world day?" Riri asked. Within the past day, they've already met Logan/Storm's daughter, now there's Blade's, and now Ant-Man's.

"Scott, you know where you are?" Teresa asked.

"Uh...no. The windows are boarded up, but it does look familiar. Wait, the basement. This is where I stole the suit." Scott suddenly realized.

"He's at the Pym house." Peter told them.

"All right, lets suit up. Go rescue him." Yolanda guessed.

"Pete, you with us?" Beth asked him.

"Uh...yeah, I guess I haven't told you guys the news." Peter realized as he scratched the back of his neck.

"What news?" Joey asked him.

"I've...I've quit Spider-Man." Peter told them.

"Wait, what?" Bobbie asked.

"Yeah, I...I can't keep trying to help if I'm not a reliable member." Peter said. "I lose focus, get distracted, and everything brings my mind back to Battleworld. I'm not a useful member."

"Take your time, Peter. There's no rush to get back out there." Pat promised.

"Hey, mind if I tagged along?" Cindy asked the team. "If you're a man down, I can give a hand."

The team look around and suppose she could be of use since she's basically the same as Peter.

"Sure, why not?" Courtney supposed.

"Joey, you and Peter stay here and keep Fallon and Rahne here." Bobbie tells him as they leave.

"Hey, when we get him back, should we tell him we didn't notice he was missing for two days?" Chavez asked Courtney.

"Best if we don't." Courtney stated, feeling a little ashamed of herself for not noticing.

The next time MJ opened her eyes, she had no idea where she was as she looked and saw Monica Rappaccini looking over a hologram computer with a humanoid figure next to the name:

Vibration
I
ntelligence
S
onic
I
ntergalactic
O
mnibus
Nexus

"What...?" MJ whispered when Monica noticed he was awake.

"Good, you're awake." Monica said as someone strolled in on a wheelchair.

"Who the hell are you guys?" MJ asked.

"I'm Dr. George Tarleton." The man in the wheelchair said as he came out of the shadows and revealed his gigantic head to MJ. "This is my associate Monica Rappaccini." He then noticed the look MJ had about seeing his face. "My apologies, I know I don't compare to my holographic counterpart. But it's a nice trick for the shareholders." He then begins to chuckle before coughing violently and grabbing a gasmask.

"Why the hell am I here?" MJ asked.

"We've been looking into the animal attacks that have claimed the lives of two of our own men." Monica tells her. "We know you have her hidden somewhere."

"And why the hell would I tell you where she is?" MJ asked them, not believing they want to help for a second.

"When I was young, I found an orphaned cub, in the forest behind our farm." George started to tell a story that MJ could tell was gonna be a long one. "My Dad told me it was too dangerous. He told me to get rid of it. I fed that cub, I named it, I watched him play with my beloved dog, Darwin."

"Yeah, is there a meaning to this story, or are you just rambling on?" MJ asked, getting ready to blast her way out as it seems they don't know she's Firestar due to lack of restraints.

"I thought that if I could instill rules, the proper boundaries, I could harness the raw power of the beast." George continued on as MJ began to notice that the room started to spark purple lightning and wonders what's happening. "But then a few months later, while hunting, the adolescent cub turned on me. Snarling, frothing at the mouth. Darwin bought me a few precious moments to call for help. My dad shot the wolf, but it was too late. Darwin had been torn to pieces!" He slammed his fist against his wheelchair in anger, scaring MJ a little before he began to calm down and the lightning vanish.

Now she seems to understand the meaning of his story.

"You may think you can help her, but she will only wait for your guard to be down long enough for her to finish you off." George promises her. "Think about it."

They then inject something into her neck, rendering her unconscious again.

Scott was just patiently waiting, wondering how long it'll take for them to show up when he suddenly began to feel the room begin to get cold.

"Geeze, your heater break?" Scott asked, knowing that's not the case.

Hope also began to feel the cold and began to get up and walk over to the thermostat where she was immediately attacked by a repulser blast, causing her to act quick and shrink down.

"Oh, great, there's another one." Riri sighed, trying to track her shrunken form with her scanners.

Meanwhile, Courtney and Yolanda ran over to Scott, Court grabbing his missing pieces of his suit and Yolanda cutting him free.

"Oh, thank god! I knew you guys would find me." Scott sighed in relief.

"Yeah, we've been looking for you forever." Yolanda said sheepishly as he got up.

But just then, another figure came and smacked Yolanda across the room.

"How many of these people are there?" Scott asked as the figure grew to normal size.

This new figure was hidden behind a suit that looked similar to Hope and Scott's blended together, just the fact her mask was only covering her eyes and ears, leaving her mouth exposed. The color of the suit itself is all black, the tips of all the edges being red and a little silver around the arms.

Hope then grew to normal size and seemed just as surprised to see the figure.

"Nadia?!" Hope asked in shock as she retracted her mask.

"Hey, Hope." Nadia greeted her sister.

"What are you doing here?" Hope asked her.

"Well, after you upped and disappeared, Mom gave me this old prototype of her suit after she saw you were coming to take the newest one.

The rest of the team just stood back and watched as Hope became frustrated by her younger sister appearance and the fact it didn't seem her mother trusted her enough to be on her own.

"Wait, what's happening?" Rick asked.

"I'm just as lost." Scott stated.

Fallon was watching as the sun began to set on the horizon and watched as Rahne seemed to begin transforming. Her X-Gene really does have a sense of irony.

"So, you really quit being Spider-Man?" Joey asked Peter.

"For now. I'll gear back up when I find a way to stop these memory flashes." Peter said, sitting on the couch as they were watching over their two guests.

"You know...maybe I can help with it." Joey offered Peter.

"No, no magic." Peter stated. "I've seen what that can do. You try and help me forget a bad memory, next thing I know, the whole world begins to go crazy and we somehow tear apart the fabric of reality."

"Wow, thanks for the faith." Joey scoffed sarcastically.

"Come on, man." Peter laughed and smacked his shoulder playfully.

Fallon then reached down into her sleeve and pulled out a small vial of something before swallowing it whole. The second she did, she felt like she couldn't breathe.

Peter and Joey looked over at the bubbles, wondering what's wrong when Joey reversed the spell a little and allowed them to see inside of the spell and saw she was down on the floor.

"Oh, god! Did you cut off the air supply?!" Peter asked as he raced down.

"No!" Joey promised as he raced down and the two reach the spell.

"You need to deactivate it." Peter told him.

"You sure about that?" Joey asked, unsure how this is even possible.

"Joey, she's dying!" Peter stated.

Joey then quickly crossed his arms, activated the spell, undid it and Peter raced over to her.

"Check her pulse!" Joey said as he finished closing the spell.

"I know what to do!" Peter stated as he reached in, going to touch her neck but was immediately attacked and kicked, sent toppling.

"What?!" Joey asked before she was going in for his own attack and he created the Tao Mandalas shields and blocked her attack.

Fallon was then about to go in for a second attack when they heard someone growl and both froze.

"Please tell me that was your stomach." Joey asked of her.

Peter then got up and the three froze as they turned back to see that Rahne has gone full wolf, and in his distraction he accidentally shut down her cell as well.

"Not ours." Peter stated as they all began to back away slowly, not to spook Rahne.

Just then, the doors opened and Kendall came in. "Whoo, I wouldn't eat the food in the fridge. It's bad."

"Kendall!" Everyone cried as Kendall noticed the wolf.

"Uh...tell me this is someone's tamed pet?" Kendall pleaded.

"No!" They all cried as Rahne growled and charged at Kendall, causing her to retaliate with a blast of wind that sends her flying right out the door.

"Whoops." Kendall said sheepishly.

The two boys raced out and saw she was long gone already, then looked and saw that Fallon was also gone.

"This day is getting worse and worse." Peter sighed.

"Guys, we've got a big problem. Like, Freddy v. Jason type problem." Joey contacted the others.

"What happened?" Courtney asked, Nadia and Hope still arguing to one another.

"Uh...Blade's daughter did something, I turned down the spell, accidentally did it to both of them, and now they're both on the run."

"Just what we need." Yolanda groaned as they all saw they needed to deal with the shrinking group, except for MJ who quickly took to the skies and went to save her, everything that AIM told her floating through her mind.

Fallon grabbed all of her gear on her way out and went back hunting for the wolf. Mutant or not, she knows how dangerous these creatures are.

Her father was murdered by these mystical creatures. She doesn't care which one, she wants them all taken off the face of the earth.

Following the tracks Rahne left behind, she sees she most likely to go after some sort of food supply. Meaning she'll go somewhere there's meat.

Checking on the places with heavy foot-traffic and seeing she wasn't there; she checked the dumpsters of the restaurants that would carry meat.

And that's where she found her prey.

Rahne was currently chowing down on some raw meat and sniffed the air before turning and growling, obviously recognizing her.

"Remember me? Good. We have some unfinished business." Fallon stated and raised her gun, silver bullet ready to go. "Nothing personal. Slightly."

She then went and shot the bullet, only for it to be met with a flaming ball that was able to melt it before it could even reach Rahne.

MJ then flew in and stood between the two of them. "Stop!"

"What is it with you people?!" Fallon groaned as she raised her gun again. "Just let me end this before she ends anyone else's life!"

"I can help her!" MJ stated. "She's just like me. Given a power she didn't want."

Fallon looked and saw Rahne already immediately starting to calm down with her around. "Let's see what you've got." She then lowered her gun, wanting to see how this pans out.

MJ then turned back towards Rahne and slowly began to approach her. Rahne snarled when she got too close and MJ stopped in her tracks, using her powers to slowly release her mask, revealing her face to them.

"Hey, Rahne. It's me." MJ greeted her as she raised her hand. "I know you're scared. That's why you're out of control. You can't help it." Rahne snarled again as MJ fearlessly approached. "These powers...they're scary, I know. But I can help. I know how to help. You've spent so many years alone. Come on...I'm here for you."

Rahne stopped snarling and looking closer she saw that her eyes have become more scared, less intimidating.

"It's okay." MJ whispered as she walked over and reached her hand out to caress her snout. "It's okay..."

Rahne then whimpered as she began to change back into her human form, sadly without clothes and she ended up covering herself up with a garbage bag.

"Thank you..." Rahne whispered with a smile.

MJ smiled as she saw that the rest of the team approached and noticed Fallon sneaked away.

Except that was far from the truth.

A few seconds ago, Fallon was putting her gun away when a circle appeared underneath her and began to spark before she suddenly fell through it before she could even let out a yelp as she fell through it.

When she opened her eyes, she looked up and saw there was. She looked around and saw a bunch of ancient artifacts, unnoticing that the figure was watching her wander around.

"Fallon Grey." Clea greeted, causing Fallon to jump and draw her sword and watched as Clea approached her slowly. "Daughter of Blade. You can put down the katana."

Fallon looked really confused and didn't know what to say. And before she could attack Clea, the two of them vanished.

Peter and Cindy stood outside as MJ has said she's going to take Rahne and Fallon to the X-Mansion herself, and she was going to stay to help keep Rahne in check and not attack anyone else there.

"I'll be back." MJ promised them.

Peter smiled and pulled his friend into a hug. "Just do what you need to do. It's all we can do."

MJ returned the hug for a minute before walking over to Kendall and Rahne and the three of them using their powers to fly off and headed towards the X-Mansion.

"Even if it hurts like hell." Peter whispered as Cindy pulled him in for a shoulder hug.

"Hank Pym's alive?" Courtney asked as they were all back in the Pit Stop with Nadia and Hope explaining everything to them.

"Do you know where to find him?" Pat asked the two.

"Now that I've found the frequency that he used to contact us, I'm able to level down on where he's being held. He's being held in a AIM facility somewhere in Munich. So that's where I'm going." Hope said, looking over to Nadia. "After I drop her back home."

"You do know that I'm just gonna keep following, so might as well just take me with." Nadia told her sister. "Remember, he's my dad, too."

Hope thinks and knows her sister won't allow her to go alone. "Fine."

Scott was listening to the talk and fixing his suit before thinking of something. "Hey, why don't I come along?"

"You?" Hope asked. "Why?"

"I mean, no real reason. I just wanna help." Scott said. "Come on, I know my way around AIMs securities."

"So do I." Hope stated.

"And I know how to get around them undetected." Scott retaliated and Hope saw he has her there.

"Fine. Let's see how long you last on a real mission." Hope dared him.

"This'll be fun." Nadia could see, these two seeming to not be getting along.

Back at AIM, Monica and George were looking over the footage and saw MJ talking down Rahne like it was nothing.

"Seems you were wrong. She tamed the beast." Monica informed George.

"It is interesting to see how far they're willing to go for people they don't know." George said. "But things are going as planned."

Monica then pulled up video footage that showed Riri was moving something around and looking directly into the camera.

"As if their was any doubt." Monica said. "How much longer must we amuse these heroes with handing them Mutants?"

"They've already gained their trust. And we know they'll accept anyone. Let's see how far they'll really go." George said as the lightning went off again.

In a dark room, a young girl was looking around several boxes, opening one up and sees a silver hat with wings on the side and tossed it.

She opened up another box and looked through it before pulling out an old piece of rope.

"There you are." She said with a smile as the rope began to glow yellow.
