(A/N) Remember, Peter still has the TASM 2 suit due to not going to Star City. And Eddie's still around and is still dating Iris, but we're not gonna focus on Barry's life. That's just some information you'll want to know about for later.
Peter just finished talking to Cisco about their current problems considering their clothing and was on his way back to Sue when he got the call from Yuri.
"Yuri. You never call with good news, so is this bad news?" Peter asked as he leaned on the wall.
"Yeah, we've got a problem." Yuri informed him.
"What's up?" Peter asked.
"I think the Mardon brothers gained powers." Yuri replied, causing Peter to spin his head around to face his friends and started to wonder if others were affected like they were.
"What makes you say that?" Peter asked, keeping an eye on Johnny who's snapping his fingers and making fire in between his fingers.
"Escaping with wind kinda gives off the impression." Yuri stated and Peter was silent after hearing that.
"Any leads?" Peter asked.
"No, I-Wait, I'm getting told there's a robbery in progress at the Gold City Bank. And the storms picking up." Yuri just got informed.
"I'll beat you there." Peter promised as he looked and saw the hallways were empty where he then tore his shirt open to reveal his red and blue suit and made his way out of Star Labs where he walked past the destroyed cage that once held Grodd. "Hope we never see that guy again."
At the bank, the Mardon's were making their way out of the bank with happy looks on their faces and cheering. On their way out, they missed Peter swinging in and seeing the two get into a car.
"Ugh, why is this becoming a serious case of Déjà vu?" Peter asked as he quickly leaped down and landed on the hood of the car. "Hey, guys! Did you really miss prison that much that the first thing you did was rob a bank?"
Peter then shot a few webs at the buildings from both hands before he began to slow them down. But then his senses went off to warn him of something and he looked down at the brothers who had their hands raised, one of them shooting lightning out of his hands, and the other shooting shards of ice.
Peter then slingshot himself over the car, taking it with him, causing it to crash down the street. He then leaped down as the two tried to escape and shot webbing at their hands.
"It's over, Mardon's!" Peter stated to them.
But they just raked their hands and the wind began to pick up, pushing Peter off balance, followed by fog covering the area they were in.
There then was a horn honk and Peter saw a car going flying over the Mardon's car and immediately ran over before raising his hands and caught the car.
"I've...got ya!" Peter promised as he tried to hold the car without breaking it and placed it down before turning back to see the fog clear and saw the brothers had escaped.
Things are going to be a hell of a lot more difficult. He needs help.
"So this is a suit I've been playing with before the accelerator." Cisco informed Johnny as he showed a new all blue onesie suit with black boots and gloves. "It's designed to replace the turnouts firefighters traditionally wear."
"Great, so how does that help me?" Johnny asks.
"Because it's impervious to flame. Heat and abrasive resistant, so it should withstand your constant temperature changes. It also seems to be able to blend the light around your sister, so she's wearing that right now." Cisco explained to him just when Peter came back in limping.
Still in his suit. Without his mask.
"Oh, my god." Cisco said in shock of what he's seeing.
Peter looked down at his suit and sees he might have wanted to change, but he also didn't want to keep hiding this. "Yep, I'm Spider-Man."
"You're..." Caitlin said in a voice of shock. "You're Spider-Man?"
"Yes." Peter repeated. "You guys weren't the only ones that were affected when the particle accelerator blew."
"Wait, what?" Jennifer asked.
"The Mardon brothers, they can control the weather." Peter informed them as he got back on his feet.
"What?" Sue asked.
"Is that even possible?" Ben wondered.
"Oh man, this just keeps getting cooler."
"A man almost died, Cisco." Peter interrupted his friend. "These guys need to be stopped. The only problem is I don't exactly have experience with powered individuals aside from Electro. Rhino was just hooked up to super-steroids, and the others were scientifically tech-advanced criminals."
"Well...what can we do?" Tess asked.
"I need you guys to help me find out where they're hiding." Peter explained. "Once you help me do that, I'll take it from there. Once they're captured, I'll happily answer all of your guys' questions you obviously have about...this." He gestured down to his damaged Spider-Man suit.
"Well...if they're controlling the weather, we should be able to track that." Cisco said as he looked to Caitlin.
"It's possible. If we retasked the Star Labs satellite and use it to track meteorological abnormalities." Caitlin supposed.
"Get on it." Harrison tells them. "Who knows how much damage someone with that much power can do."
Back at Star labs, until they got a ping from the satellite, Peter decided to explain everything that happened to him to the others; and they still had a dozen questions about everything.
"So you were bit by a spider, and didn't tell anyone?" Cisco asked Peter. "You know you could've gotten sick and radiation poisoning."
"At the time, I didn't know the spider was radioactive." Peter defended.
They then heard something beeping from the computers and saw Caitlin walking over with a tablet. "Guys, we've got a spike."
"Where?" Peter asked her.
"The atmospheric pressure just dropped 20 millibars in the matter of seconds west of the city." Caitlin informed him.
Peter nodded and walked off to pick up his mask and placed it on. "Thanks. I'll go finish this."
"Whoa, whoa, there compañera." Johnny said as he stopped Peter from leaving. "What exactly is your plan to stop them?"
"Go in, take them by surprise, and if that fails, then web them up and fight against the weather." Peter guessed it was a good plan as any.
"Peter, they'll kill you. You barely fight Electro and live." Caitlin informed him.
"Guys, I can handle two wannabe villains." Peter promised.
"Exactly. There's two." Johnny stated as he gestured to him and the others. "There are currently four others with super powers in this room."
"Johnny, I've been doing this since I was fifteen, we don't even know how far your powers go." Peter informed him.
"What better way to learn than on the job?" Jennifer asked as she walked in, wearing a one piece purple outfit that was designed to stretch with her body as it grows into her hulking form.
"Between the five of us, there would be two and one extra for each of them." Sue agreed with them. "These guys are a threat, and if I need to get my hands dirty to help them by stopping powered individuals like this I'll gladly help."
Peter looked towards Ben, wondering what his opinion on all of this was as he was just taking a drink from a steel mug wearing an oversized basketball uniform that covered his body.
"Don't look at me, I just follow this one and keep her safe." Ben said as he gestured to Sue.
"And we can track all of your vitals from the suits you're wearing.
Peter looked in between all of them and let out a sigh, seeing they're determined to help him all the way through this.
"All right...let's see if we can work together." Peter guessed.
Joe west and Yuri made it to a farm just outside the city where their CSI Barry Allen lead them to after finding animal poop on the tires of their car
"This is the last farm on Barry's list." Joe informed Yuri as they got out of the car and made their way inside of the farm and heard cheering and celebrating.
"Looks like we found them." Yuri said as the two of them headed inside and aimed their weapons. "Mardon's you're both under arrest."
"Hands on your heads." Joe demanded.
The two then did just as they asked before blowing the two of them away with a blast of wind.
Yuri quickly reached into her pocket and tried to call Spider-Man, but the phone was whisked away by the wind.
"You think your guns can stop us?!" Mark asked them.
"We've become gods!" Clyde agreed with his brother.
"And why the hell would god rob banks?" Yuri asked as she saw Joe was knocked out, but luckily wasn't injured.
"You're right. We've been thinking too small." Clyde said as the two raised their hands and created two tornadoes and began to rip the barn apart when Yuri grabbed Joe and made it outside.
When she reached outside, she landed on the side of the car as the wind began to pick up. She looked up and saw a part of the roof was coming right at them and braced for impact.
But the ceiling never made impact as it was stopped by a figure that leaped in and caught it before landing on their feet. The figure then pushed the board away and revealed it to be Jennifer in her green form.
"Whoo!" Jennifer cheered. "What an entrance."
Peter then came in and leaped on the roof of the car and Yuri turned up to face him. "Hey, Yuri."
"Spider-Man. Who's your friend?" Yuri greeted and turned to Jennifer.
"A new friend of mine. You should meet the others." Peter said when Ben came crashing down carrying both Johnny and Sue, both suited up and ready for action.
"Guys. This winds picking up, if it's not stopped those two tornadoes could turn into a F5 tornado." Cisco warned them as they saw the brothers were heading for Central City.
"And it's heading for the city." Johnny said in annoyance. "There goes element of surprise."
"So, what if we go for the eyes?" Ben asked them. "Take out the ones in control if it."
Peter looked over to the two and saw if they divided and conquered, they could take the two out simultaneously.
"Ben night be onto something." Peter agreed. "We need to distract the people inside them, and while that happens, others go in from behind."
"Okay, how do we do that?" Sue asked, trying to see through the wind and her hair coming in her face.
"Ben, you and Jennifer take down Clyde." Peter instructed the two. "Ben gets his attention and Jennifer goes in from behind."
"Got it." Jennifer promised as the two ran off towards the tornado, being the mass they were, they were able to fight against the wind and race through it like nothing.
"The three of us, we take down Mark." Peter tells Johnny and Sue. "Johnny and I will go and keep him distracted, Sue you use your powers and sneak up as close as you can and knock him down with your forcefields."
"Sounds like a plan." Johnny said as he smiled and fixed his glove before igniting into flames.
"Let's do it." Sue agreed and started to bend the light around her and her suit also dissolving with her.
"Great, but remember, you guys are powerful, not invincible." Harrison warned them. "You can take a hit, but you can't survive a fall from a tornado."
"Got it." Johnny promised as they all raced in to fight the tornado.
Ben ran in front of the tornado and picked up a gigantic bolder in the way before throwing it over to the brother who saw it and blasted a gust of wind that sent it back to Ben.
Ben saw he wasn't gonna be able to catch it, so as a last resort he threw his fist at it and was able to crack the rock open and shatter it into pieces.
"Whoa. I clobbered that thing." Ben commented, but his victory was short lived when he was shot at with a wave of heat from Clyde trying to take him down.
But while he was focused on Ben, he didn't notice Jennifer leaping in from behind and fighting through the debris before punching him in the back of the head, causing him to lose focus and the tornado to stop and then dropped the three of them on the ground.
"Whoo! That was epic!" Cisco cheered.
"Save the victory party, Cisco." Jennifer said as they looked to see how they're doing with their tornado.
A few minutes ago while that was happening, Johnny and Peter were shooting at Mark with their webs and fire.
"It's time to think bigger!" Mark said when he saw his brother was taken down.
"I don't think we can do this!" Sue cried as she ended up using her shields to protect herself from the debris.
"Listen...I know none of you asked for this to happen." Peter said as he was grabbing onto anything he could before the wind could take him. "I know none of us here ever thought we would be able to do what we can do now. But the purpose is we can do this. We can fight back against people like this. Now stand up and fight!"
Sue and Johnny seemed to be inspired by his words and Johnny got back on his feet where he was immediately whisked off back into the sky where he began to try and flame back on.
"Come on. Come on!" Johnny cried as he tried to flame up and began to regain control. "Flame on!" He then scorched his entire body and then as a turn for the shocking, he began to fly around the tornado.
"He can fly!?" Jennifer asked in shock.
"He can fly?" Sue asked.
Johnny left a trail of fire behind him and blinded Mark's vision, and Sue saw it as her opening where she created two forcefields to then throw into the tornado and smacked Mark, causing him to fall and hit the ground.
The team all regrouped and were shocked to see that they actually managed to do it, with the only damage being Peter's suit.
"Man, this things been thought the ringer the past few days." Peter commented as he looked over the cuts and tears all over the suit and ripped off his mask as his lenses was broken.
"Maybe it's time for an upgrade." Johnny told Peter just when his senses went off and then turned to see that the brothers were back up just when they were taken down by two bullets.
The team looked to where they came from and saw that it was from Yuri who was looking down and shocked by the five of them.
"So...is this some sort of new thing I missed?" Yuri asked as she approached them.
"It's sort of a one-time thing." Peter said when he then looked to everyone else. "Is it?"
"Meh." Jennifer shrugged.
"I'll think about it." Sue promised.
"I loved this." Johnny commented with a grin.
"You guys okay?" Tess asked them from Star labs.
"We're all good." Peter said when he suddenly realized Yuri now knows what he looks like without the mask.
Next morning, the entire farm was covered in police tape and a dozen officers wondering what happened, including Joe who was unconscious through the whole thing.
Yuri however was standing out of the police station waiting for her friend when Peter came down. "Crazy night."
"Yeah, crazy." Peter agreed as he crouched down on the railing next to her.
"So you formed a team? When did this happen?" Yuri asked him.
"Sort of a recent development. They were affected by the accelerator. Same as the Mardon's." Peter explained to her.
"Any others out there like that?" Yuri was afraid to ask.
"Unclear as of right now." Peter told her honestly.
"So...I saw the man behind the mask last night." Yuri dumped into the elephant in the room.
Peter sighed and saw there was no point anymore and removed what was left of his mask. "Names Peter Parker. And it's been an honor to be serving with you, Yuri."
"It's a pleasure meeting you, Peter." Yuri greeted him. "So...who are your new friends?"
"Sorry, can't reveal their identities. They have to be willing to do that." Peter tells her.
"Okay. Fair enough." Yuri guessed as they watched the early morning sun rise. "They gonna be sticking around?"
"Hard to say at the moment; they've got their own lives to try and get back to." Peter told her, not sure if he and the others would be teaming up for future.
"Alas, their one time would turn to many other adventures as this was just the beginning of the very long journey that would take them to unknown locations, exploring new feelings. And maybe making the right decision when the time comes."
At a five-star hotel, Reed Richards was looking at himself in the mirror, angry at himself for failing at his mission. He blames most of it on that friend of hers.
He then bowed an elbow, accidentally smacking a glass and it began to fall. He went to grab it, when his hand suddenly stretched out further than it possibly should.
Reed then pulled his hand back and looked as it reformed back to its original size.
"Interesting."
(A/N) What do you guys think of the Watcher sticking around as a narrator? Or should I keep him as an opening and possibly ending character?
