May had just gotten settled into the Parr's house with baby Jack-Jack and was concerned as to what her nephew was doing when she got a call from Helen worried about Jack-Jack.
"You don't have to worry about a thing, Helen." May says into the phone as it hangs from her shoulder while cutting up pieces of fruit for Jack-Jack. "I've got the weekend off, so I can keep an eye on this kid with ease."
"You sure it's no trouble, May?" Helen asks into the phone in worry.
"Please, I used to watch over Peter for his parents when they went out of town." May says as she hands some crunched up watermelon to Jack-Jack in a small bowl. "There's nothing this little guy can dish out that I can't handle."
"May, if this is too much, I'd be happy to call a service." Helen offers to May.
"Please, why waist the money? I can handle it." May assures her while looking to Jack-Jack. "Isn't that right?" She asks in a baby voice, getting Jack-Jack to coo at her. "Auntie May can handle it, can't she?"
There was a faint bleeping in the background followed by the line going dead.
"Helen, you there?" May asks and hears nothing coming back. "Must've been disconnected." She supposes before hanging up and turning to face Jack-Jack. "Well, little guy, it's just you and me this weekend."
"Huh?" Jack-Jack asks.
After getting Jack-Jack fed and diapered, May got some old toys she used to keep around for Peter when he was a baby and others from Jack-Jack's own toys and laid them down on the living room floor for Jack-Jack and played some Mozart on the radio.
"I don't see what your mama was worried about, you're not that much trouble, aren't you little guy?" May says as she turned back and saw that Jack-Jack was no longer on the floor where she left him.
"Jack-Jack?" May questioned, looking around the room.
The woman than heard Jack-Jack squeal and then turned to see him on the dinner table behind the flowerpot.
"How did...?" May started to question as she went over to Jack-Jack as he crawls behind the flowerpot. "Come here to Auntie May, Jack-Jack." She cooed as she took the flowerpot off the table and sees Jack-Jack wasn't behind there anymore.
She then heard a refrigerator door close and saw that Jack-Jack was on the floor while sucking on one of his bottles.
"Okay. I'm thinking there's something Peter forgot to tell me." May guesses, feeling that this kid must have powers like his parents/siblings. "Wait right here." She tells Jack-Jack before waking off and goes to the phone, looking back to see Jack-Jack hasn't moved yet.
But then, just as she looked away, Jack-Jack began floating and ended up on the ceiling as May hears the phone recording. "Helen. I just wanna let you know I have everything under control." May was saying as she turned back to face Jack-Jack. "Not that there'd be any doubt but-ah!" She suddenly looked and saw he was missing and hanged up.
Jack-Jack was currently on the ceiling, trying to get the lid off of the cup as May was searching for him.
"Jack-Jack, where'd you go?" May asks, looking around for him as Jack-Jack gets the lid off, spilling the milk when May than looked up and screamed as milk fell on her.
May than put Jack-Jack in a cage and put a chair on top of it, hoping that it would keep Jack-Jack in place.
"Helen, Jack-Jack's fine, but I might need you to call me back." May said on the phone as Jack-Jack was biting the bars to the cage. "I don't know if Peter forgot to mention this part, or wasn't aware of it, but-"
May than noticed the cage was broken and Jack-Jack was gone and then noticed that he was on the shelf and was falling as she quickly ran over to catch him, only ending up with her catching his diaper as the rest of him seemed to phase through the ground.
May hurried downstairs and searched for him and saw Jack-Jack floating around and phasing in and out of walls as she tried to catch him by chasing him around the basement. She then eventually caught him while he was phasing into the washing machine.
"Okay...you're a bit of a handful." May whispers.
Later on, May was able to move a few of Bob's weights and tied them to Jack-Jack, hoping that'll be enough to hold him down.
"How about we settle down by looking at some flash cards?" May asks the little guy as she picked up some cards and showed them to Jack-Jack.
"Triangle."
Jack-Jack than firmed a triangle with his hands with a squeal of delight.
"House."
Jack-Jack looked up and babbled happily.
"Good." May said, seeing he's finally calming down. "Campfire."
Suddenly, Jack-Jack went Human Torch on Aunt May, and flamed on. May cried in terror as Jack-Jack started walking around whilst on fire.
May then quickly grabbed a campfire tool so that she could safely pick up Jack-Jack, quickly rushed to grab the baby and got into the bathroom and put Jack-Jack out in the bathtub that was recently going to be used for his bath.
It was a rough rest of night going on into day but May managed to take care of Jack-Jack without getting harmed.
She may not have superpowers, but she figured out how to react to the harmful powers that Jack-Jack had:
Fire. Extinguisher.
Laser eyes: Mirror.
Eventually, May managed to put Jack-Jack to sleep as she slept on the coach after a rough night.
May than was awaken by the doorbell ring as she got and went to the door. As she opened the door, she saw a man with orange troll-like hair and a black and white suit with a big 'S' on it.
"Hi, is this the Parr residence?" The man asked.
"Yes? Who are you?" May asked with suspicion as she held Jack-Jack close.
"Well, I'm the replacement sitter. Mrs. Parr sent me." He spoke.
"That's strange. Why wasn't I informed?" May asks
"Well...she...wanted to inform you but..."
"What does the 'S' stand for?" May suddenly changed the subject, feeling like after being married to someone like Ben for years has gotten her to spot a supervillain logo.
"For...Sitter. Yeah, Sitter. I originally wanted the initials for 'babysitter', but then I would go around wearing a big 'BS' and you know I couldn't go with that." He says with a chuckle and May could easily see that he was making that up.
"Oh...Kay, well, you can tell Mrs. Parr that I'm completely fine on my own, thank you!" May said as she tried to close the door, but the man than quickly put his hand on the door and pushed it open.
"You know, I really hoped that I didn't have to force my way in..." The man said with a sinister smile as he walked in and May backed away and was incased by a beam originating from his finger.
And we know how the rest of this turned out…
