Guest - but of course! Frankie and Miles will be joining us soon.
"My life started completely different from my doppelganger's."
There was a small shuttle flying through the darkness of space that was sent flying down into the woods of New York.
Richard Parker and Clare Modell were shocked when while on a trip out of the big city, a giant pod fell and ricocheted off the ground and took a few skips before crashing near their garage.
When the pod opened, the little baby inside wailed in sadness.
"Oh, my goodness." Clare said in shock as she kneeled down to the baby.
"When I was growing up, I thought I was just a normal baby. I thought I was part of a normal family. Not realizing I carried half Kryptonian blood in me. Hey, turned out to be a plus, considering if I wasn't there is a good chance I would have been erased from existence after Crisis."
Richard kneeled down and saw a small handheld device that was on the ship which activated after being touched.
"Richard. I know you probably don't remember me. But this is Mary Fitzpatrick, and I was abducted by aliens. This is my son, and I didn't know who else to trust with him..."
At ten, his parents died in a car accident, and Ben along with May brought him over to National City to live with them.
"When they died, I thought I lost my world. And things got worse for me from there."
When Peter was fifteen years old, when his powers started to manifest, he and Ben had an argument ending with Peter storming off. A while after he left, Ben went looking for him and ended up getting healed at gun point.
Being Ben, he fought against the man but only ended up getting shot in the stomach and the mugger stole what he could before running off, leaving Ben on the sidewalk to bleed out.
That's how Peter found him. In the raining dark night as nobody seemed to have even noticed or cared.
"Ben?" Peter asked as he ran over and dropped to the ground. "Ben!? BEN! Help! Somebody!" He cried out in agony as he clutched his dead uncle.
"Same story. Different experience. But that wasn't the last word as he actually left a message for me..."
"Peter, I know things have been difficult lately, and I'm sorry about that. I think I know what you're feeling. Ever since you were a little boy you've been living with so many unresolved things. Well take it from an old man, those things send us down a road, they make us who we are, and if anyone is destined for greatness, it's you owe the world your gifts, you just have to figure out how to use them, and know that wherever they take you, we'll always be there. So come on home Peter, you're my hero, and I love you."
"And I became Spider-Man...it didn't last long."
Peter was later getting pounced in the face by an alien. Gwen winced in pain as Peter was then picked up and thrown across National City.
"After THAT, I became the Iron-Spider!"
"After I met who I thought was the love if my life, I lost my aunt...then she came into my life by accident."
Peter has been searching for one of his men after the fight with one of his before he gets an alert on his comms. "Peter, we've got a huge problem!" Gwen's voice calls into his comms out of fear.
"I'm here, what's up?" Peter asks when his senses look up and he sees an airplane on fire. "Okay, never mind." He says seeing the plane is going to crash into the city if something isn't done about it.
"Okay, I added repulsers to the palm of your hands. Now is a better chance than any to see if it works." Gwen tells him as he looks at his palms and they start warming up. Peter blasts himself into the air and uses his mechanical limbs to grab onto the bottom of the plane.
Peter grabs onto the plane and moves across the plane to the roof of the plane and does the best he can to redirect the plane from crashing into the city. But seeing as that's unlikely, he moves over to the wings to see if his scanners can pick up what happened.
"Peter, you've got something coming up on your six." Gwen tells him and his senses go off and he turns to see someone holding onto the wing of the plane.
"Who the hell are you?" Peter asks, not wanting to be rude, but is surprised to see someone up here.
Kara doesn't know how to answer him and decides not to and goes underneath the plane and starts steadying it out when the bridge comes up.
"Okay, whoever you are, keep doing what you're doing!" Peter shouts and his suit starts calculating the angle and mass of the plane it needs to be in order not to crash into the bridge.
"Oh, come on!" Kara complains seeing the bridge coming up.
"New girl, turn the plane onto a 70 degree angle, left!" Peter shouts hoping she understands and hears him and Kara starts turning the plane and Peter uses his powers to stay onboard the plane as it just scratches off of the bridge and crashes into the lake.
Inside the plane, Alex looks to see Kara exiting the water and Peter leaping down next to her ad holding his hand out for her.
Kara looks up and sees Spider-Man and takes his hand and he pulls her up the wing.
"Nice work. A bit sloppy, but good none the less." He tells her.
Kara is shocked to hear someone say that she did nice work not used to hearing compliments often. That's when the helicopters come in and starts shining their spotlights on the two of them along with everyone in the plane.
Kara then takes off to the sky leaving everyone confused, including Spider-Man. "And here I thought Clark was the only one." Peter mumbles to himself before activating his repulsers and flying towards the DEO.
"I shot her with a tranq dart with Kryptonite fused in it."
Kara was on her way through the city towards the fire and was shot by a tranq dart. Later, she wakes up to see Iron- Spider and the boss of the DEO, Hank Henshaw. She tries getting up and sees her hands are handcuffed.
"Made of low-grade kryptonite." Hank informs her.
"It's a radioactive mineral from your home planet, it weakens you." Peter says from his seat across the room.
"Where am I? Who are you?" Kara asks the two of them.
"Name is Hank Henshaw. You already met Agent Spider-Man. And I believe you already know Agent Danvers." Hank answers as Alex approaches her.
"She doesn't need those." Alex promises referring to the handcuffs and another agent removes them.
"Welcome to the DEO, the Department Of Extranormal Operations." Hank tells Kara.
"We monitor and protect earth from extraterrestrial presence and/or invasion." Peter explains to her.
"That means you." Hank clarifies to her.
They bring her through the halls and bring her to the ship that brought her to earth.
"We keep this here as a reminder of the day you crashed on earth. You're the reason for all of this." Hank tells Kara.
"Me? But...my cousin was here two dozen years before me." Kara states.
"Actually, It was his arrival that triggered the need for this organization." Peter tells her.
"He's right, once we realizes we weren't alone in the universe and we might soon be getting more immigrants. Sure enough, you came along. And with you, Fort Rozz." Hank says and Kara doesn't know who that is. "Krypton's maximum security prison. Banished to the Phantom Zone, same place your ship got stuck. But just like yours, it didn't stay there. We're not sure how your pod got loose. What we do know is this. You pulled Fort Rozz with you. When it crashed, the alien convicts, the worst criminals in the galaxy, they all escaped. And you brought them here."
They then walk towards the computers where Gwen is. "These beings, some of them have powers from your darkest nightmares." Hank continues.
"And trust me, normal nightmares would be a pleasure." Peter whispers to Kara.
"Later on, we became a crime fighting duo."
Peter and Kara make their way to the pileup and sees people are worried.
"Supergirl, Spider-Man, the driver's still inside, she can't get out." One of the pedestrians tells them.
Kara and Peter make their way and Peter uses his scanners to show she is stuck in the driver seat as Kara stops a power cable from sparkling. Afterward, Kara goes in and was able to get the driver out fast when Peter's scanners pick up someone coming.
"Watch out!" Peter says and pushes Kara before getting blasted by a sunbeam and Kara looks at the source of the blast and sees someone wearing military grade armor flying down to ground level.
Kara looks back and sees Peter getting back up after the blast and sees the man.
"Oh, not this joker." Peter complained since this isn't his first encounter with this guy.
"Who are you?" Kara asks the man.
"I'm just a ghost." The man says.
"What do you want?" Kara questions.
"I want the Man of Steel to suffer. Along with him." He states pointing to Peter.
"Well, you've done a bang up job at that." Peter informs him while rubbing the part of his head that was just smashed into the underside of the bus.
"And then tragedy struck the both of us..."
"Gwen, calm down. You're safe." Peter promises her.
Gwen smiles at him, happy to have someone like him in her life when she sees Goblin is coming back for another go.
"Watch out!" Gwen says and pushes Peter out of the way when Goblin comes charging in and ended up banging his glider on Gwen's head, rendering her unconscious and she slips off the bridge.
"No!" Peter shouts and Gwen falls off of the ledge and Peter runs to catch her as she falls and shoots a web at her chest, seeing her too far for his hand to reach her. While he does that, the young Peter comes flying in and grabs onto Goblin.
Peter was in the middle of joking when he suddenly sees that Gwen isn't breathing.
"No...no, no, no!" Peter suddenly goes into panic as he runs to Gwen's side and lifts her head.
"Gwen, no. You can't be dead...I can't let you be dead." Peter says as he starts to break down and retracts his mask since nobody can see him from under the bridge.
Peter looks to the sky and lets out an ear piercing cry of pain seeing his entire world has ended. Tears roll down his face like rain as it does start raining.
Peter breathes heavily as he finds it in himself to stand up. Knowing if he failed, Earth falls and it's on him. "There's one thing you don't seem to understand...this is my world. And I will protect it until my last breath!" He states as his system fully reboots and he sends a large repulser blast at her, sending her tumbling into an air conditioning unit.
"It doesn't matter if I live or die. We'll keep coming." Rhea promises as the warships start aiming at everything and everywhere and Kara flies up to him.
"Supergirl, Spider-Man, they've locked onto every school, hospital, and municipal building in the city. They're going to destroy everything." Alex tells them.
Peter retracts his mask, revealing how beaten his face is and looks to Kara who knows what she needs to do and she pulls out the remote to release the lead into the atmosphere.
"I'm sorry." Peter apologizes to her.
Kara pushes the button and the lead gets released into the atmosphere and the Daxamites immediately begin to leave.
Rhea starts to turn to stone and then dusted -El joins the two of them and starts coughing and they know he can't stay on Earth.
Kara brought the pod that Mon-El first arrived in and used it to send him wherever he goes so he can be safe.
"But surprisingly, that heartbreak brought the two of us closer."
Kara and Peter are in the middle of assisting Alex and Maggie, who are now engaged, in a chase after some thieves in a truck.
Maggie and Alex get stuck on the back of their car and they open the back to reveal a machine gun.
Kara flies in and blocks them from the two of them then crushes the gun with her bare hands.
On the roof, Peter takes on another one of them with a lightning rod as he webs the man's arms to his sides, causing him to electrify himself.
Peter and Kara look to see they're about to hit a family in a car before the two go to the wheels of the truck and rip them off before Peter attached webs to the back of it, causing the truck to stop in its tracks.
"Nice job!" Kara cheers as she walks up and gives Peter a high five as Alex and Maggie catch up to them.
"Hey, congrats on you for crushing that machine gun like it was paper." Peter informs her and returns the gesture before turning to the cops.
Alex and Maggie are the first to approach the group as the other officers close the highway for now.
"Two in a box, ready to go." Peter tells them while nodding to the truck with the unconscious man and driver.
"We be fast..." Kara continues.
"And they be slow." Both of them say at once while fist bumping.
"Supergirl, Spider-Man, you guys are the best!" The kid in the car cheers on.
"Aw, thanks, kid." Kara replies to him while smiling.
Peter then gets an alert in his mask. "Robbery at 23rd and 12th street."
"Race ya there." Kara dares and takes to the skies.
"Oh, you did not!" Peter laughs as he charges his thrusters and takes off.
Alex and Maggie just look up in confusion as they leave to figure out what they have just witnessed and they don't know how to respond to it.
"Wh-what just happened?" Maggie asks Alex.
"And then it took a Nazi invasion trying to steal her heart, and I mean that in the literal sense, to bring us together."
Kara engulfs Peter-38 in a hug.
"Oh, I'm so glad you're okay." Kara tells him.
"It takes a lot more than an alternative Metallo to kill me." Peter-38 says and returns the hug, happy she's alive.
They break off and the two just smile at each other.
"Listen, Skirt, there's...something that needs to be said." Peter-38 tells her.
"I need to say something, too." Kara tells him.
"I'm done pretending." Peter-38 says, and Kara's confused.
"Pretending what?" Kara asks him.
"I'm...terrible at this." Peter-38 admits when his senses go off and Nazis come in.
"Look out!" Frankie tells them.
Peter-38 activates his holo-shield and pulls Kara in close as the shield takes the shots and Peter-38 just grabs Kara and pulls her into a kiss in which Kara easily returns.
Ray, Felicity and Frankie look shocked as Ray covers Frankie's eyes, the Nazis then get taken down by Peter and Crystal who turn to see the two heroes making out.
"Okay...this is weird." Peter-1 says since he's watching himself make out with someone else.
"Ditto." Crystal agrees, since she's watching her boyfriend make out with the girl of steel.
"And then our little girl came into the world...during a Symbiote invasion. Good timing, Specs."
Peter once thought he knew the meaning of love, ever since he was ten and how it made you feel, but it turns out that he didn't.
What he thought to be true for years turned out to be lies. It wasn't until he looked into the eyes of his newly born baby girl and seeing her looking back at him, that's when he understood what love was.
It was an unspoken commitment to protect the other, that unspoken promise to love them and to always be there for the other, seeing her dark blue eyes she so obviously got from her mother, looking back at him showed him nothing but hope. It told him she would always have someone in his life who loves him just as much as her, it told him they would always have a bond that could never be broken:
The bond of blood.
Peter will never forget this moment as he holds all six pound two ounces of her in his arms or heard her cry, in that moment he felt his heart fill with the love he thought he could only feel with Kara.
Resting her in his arms, he looked over towards the med bed where Kara lays peacefully asleep on her side, facing towards him with their baby girl in his arms sleeping peacefully and Peter couldn't help but smile. Using his arm to hold her head up, he watched the two important women of his life resting, wondering how he became so lucky.
Why Kara Danvers, the Supergirl, decided to give him this special gift, out of everyone in the world, everyone in the universe, she gave him this gift and he knows there will never be able to show her how much it means to him.
She is perfect and he knows that he and Kara will be the best parents that they can be, since they both know what it's like to grow up without their real parents.
The two did stubble upon the topic of names, and they decided they didn't want to give their child a name of anyone they lost as their child was a new beginning for the two of them and a name was decided on.
Stirring in her sleep, Kara turned over, her back towards Peter as she starts settling back down again. Hearing footsteps in the hallway outside, it was followed by their friends coming in to see them.
Upon entering the room, they saw Peter sitting on a chair next to the bed with the small bundle now in his arms that was covered in white blankets with blue and pink stripes.
"Hi, new daddy!" Alex greeted him playfully.
Peter looked up from the tiny bundle and saw all of his friends and most of the family were here. "Hey, guys." He smiled.
"How's Kara?" Gwen wondered.
"She's getting the rest she deserves." Peter answered whilst looking at his bruised hand. "You guys wanna meet your niece?" He slowly stood up.
Peter stood in the center of his friends to give them a better view of the newborn little girl. She was a pudgy little thing, cuddled together in the warm blankets and a pale pink baby hat. "Hey baby girl. This is your family."
"What's her name?" Barry asked.
"Anjelica Parker." Peter answered, causing a squealed 'aww!' to come from Nia.
"Our little angel from the stars." Kara added on as they turn to see she's awaken.
"Ah, a perfectly understandable name." Brainy says before turning to the little one that looked back to Brainy as if she was already confused.
"How you feeling, Kara?" Alex asks as she hugs her sister.
"Tired. But how'd it go? I noticed we're not all zombie aliens." Kara says.
"Alex here used Anti-Venom and kicked all of their...butts." Nia was saying but stopped herself from using bad language in front of the newborn.
"Yeah, I'm not stuck with this thing, am I?" Alex asks, gesturing to herself.
"Don't worry, I can remove it from you no problem." Peter-1 promised her.
"And that brings us to today."
National City:
"Welcome to National City. Home of the Dream Team, Lena Luthor, Iron-Spider, Martian Manhunter, and Supergirl! Or as I like to call them, my Aunts, Uncles, and my parents."
In her bedroom, Anjelica was bobbing her head to the music she was listening to whilst drawing some prototype personal suits for herself.
"I can feel it going to my head! Wake me up, I can sleep when I'm dead!" Anjelica sang as she kept on drawing.
"You see her? That's me. My name is Anjelica Parker-Danvers. And I am the daughter of Supergirl and the Iron-Spider. When I was five years old, I was discovered to have the same powers as my dad and my mother, to an extent."
Anjelica was laying upside down in her desk chair while drawing in her notepad she had in her hands, drawing some similar designs that combined the design of Supergirl and Iron-Spider.
"I have all of my dad's abilities; those being super strength, agility, flexibility, healing, and just about everything except for his Harun-El abilities. Which I was cool with, I didn't want the threat of dying by using too much of my brain. From mom, I have flight, X-Ray vision, super-hearing, but no ice breath, heat vision, or even bulletproof skin. That was a deal breaker. But luckily I had been taking dance and athletics since I could walk - My Aunt Alex thought it'd be good for me - so I'm flexible enough to dodge any projectile."
Anjelica then quickly sensed someone was coming up and quickly tossed her notepad across the room into a drawer she followed up by shooting a small quickly dissolving web strand she developed after her father's formula, and when it hits her drawer it closed it and dissolved.
Just as she finished, the door opened and Peter peeked his head in. "Hey, Angel. Just checking in."
"I'm doing good." Anjelica promised as she made it look like she was reading her textbook for her class test on her desk "Just finishing up with the book."
Peter chuckled as he walked over and pecked his daughter's head. "That's my girl." He then picked her glasses off her head playfully and placed them on top of her desk. "But you're gonna be late if you keep studying."
"I'll be down in a second." Anjelica promises.
"Great. Just a warning, if you get down there after your mother, can't promise they'll be any food left." Peter warned her before walking out of the room.
Meanwhile, the 6 o'clock bus from Keystone City arrives at the station and comes to a halt, waking up its youngest passenger from her nap. She was a short, skinny teenage girl with long bright red hair and silver eyes.
National City.
She turns her head to find all the passengers lining up with their stuff. She decides to stand up to put her overstuffed backpack on. She grabs her duffle bag before she gets in line between a woman in a business suit and a young man nodding to whatever music his headphones were playing.
She steps outside the bus and looks around the station. And then she walked off to the big city, wondering what's she's going to do now.
Her outfit she was wearing was nothing more than a grey hoodie and matching sweatpants, and black fingerless gloves she keeps in her pockets. Keeping her body hidden as when she made it outside, its revealed that she has a entirely silver body.
Anjelica then made her way outside and saw someone with a backpack on and long blonde hair waiting outside her steps. This was Anjelica's best friend, Roberta Mendez, who was a more athletic persona than Anjelica. Because of her powers, her parents forbid her from participating in sports, or any athletic activities in school.
She was allowed to join a few in after school, or sometimes on the weekend, she would go a few rounds with her Uncle Jimmy.
"Hey, Angie. Ready to go?" Roberta asked Anjelica as she made her way down.
"Just a few more weeks, and we'll be free." Anjelica sighed, looking forward to the idea of summer.
"So, I've got basketball after school, you wanna meet up afterwards?" Roberta wondered as they began to walk to school.
"Sure. I'm gonna start some new activity afterwards, so I'll be occupied." Anjelica smiled as she looked down and realized she forgot to zip it up and a pair of gloves were hanging out. Reaching down, she pushed them in and zipped up the bag.
Back inside the Parker-Danvers household, Kara slowly began to wake back up and stretched her hand out to try and drag her husband in to snuggle up with him for a few more minutes. But then she was met with the emptiness of the other end of the bed.
She guessed he got up to get Angel to school and she started to smell something which immediately woke her up. And then she used her powers and sped through her bathroom routine and made her way down the stairs where she saw that Peter was up and making breakfast.
"What smells so good?" Kara asked as she eyed the food Peter was cooking. "Oh, is that hash browns!"
Peter then turned and saw her before groaning in anger at himself. "No, no, no! I was gonna bring this up to you when it was ready!" He whined as he was focusing on the bacon he was cooking and stopped to walk in front of Kara. "I was gonna do something romantic and you ruined it."
Kara smiled as she leaped to kiss his lips then wrapping her arms around him. "And it's very sweet that you tried, but you and I both know it's dangerous to get in the way of me and bacon!" She then pushed Peter softly, which still sent him flying into the island and knocking the wind out of him. "And biscuits! Oh, is that poached eggs!?"
"Yeah, I've been married to you for over ten years. I know what makes you happy." Peter said as he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Even though I find it sexy when you're angry."
"When was the last time that you actually didn't find my anger sexy?" Kara wondered.
"Meh, contractions are not pretty for anyone." Peter stated, causing Kara to laugh.
"I love you." Kara said as she pulled him in again and kissed him.
Back in an old factory, which used to house Agent Liberty, was now holding one of the most dangerous criminals in National City. The Trapster.
Yes, really.
Peter Petruski was in his lab, working on a new formula for his special Paste-Gun. Once done, he held out the formula on his hand and grinned ecstatically.
On his way out to try out this now formula, he's joined with a few of his followers when one of them was smacked in the side of the head, and the one next to him was immediately hit with the projectile before it went off to the side where they saw it was the shield of Captain America.
Morg'Ann "Morgan" Ren grinned as she caught her shield like it was nothing. Standing tall wearing her Captain America's uniform with pride.
"Hi, Trapster." Morg'Ann greeted him.
Trapster then quickly ran off while his guards took aim and shot at Morgan and she raised her shield to block the bullets from hitting her face.
before anyone else could do anything else, several strands of webbing came down and grabbed their guns before the figure above yanked them out of their hands.
The figure then dropped down and kicked one of the henchmen in the face revealing the figure to be the familiar masked face of Gwenyth Stacy, Ghost-Spider.
"Need a hand?" Gwen asked her.
"I had it covered." Morgan shrugged and noticed there was a missing member. "Where's Dreamer?"
Nia Nal, the Dreamer in question, was walking down the walkways and used her powers to electrocute the rails, sending everyone but the Trapster toppling.
Morgan was racing through the opening and kept her shield raised up as several men are at the end of the hall trying to shoot her down, but they never seem to aim for anything but the shield covered areas.
Maybe they always see it as a giant target for her?
Once she made it close enough, she rammed the two of them with her shield, sending them flying through the drywall. Before the third could get a clear shot, she spun around and used the front end of the shield to smack him in the face, shattering his helmet/mask.
Trapster ran and made it to the exit where their biggest henchmen/driver was waiting for him.
"Stop them!" Trapster demanded as he ran to his truck and began to place the formula in his gear.
Morgan made it over and saw their strongest henchman. "Listen, Buddy, how an out you just let me past and you don't have to wake up with a broken and/or bruised jaw?"
The man didn't even seem to register that she said anything and crashed his knuckles, preparing for a fight.
Morgan sighed and placed her shield on her back. "I guess it was just too much to ask."
She then dodged a punch from the man. He then went in for a second attack, and Morgan was able to dodge it when he went in to kick her and she took a step back. That's when she saw her opening and punched him in the face. That one punch seemed to be all it took to knock the wind out of him.
Trapster then finished loading his new formula and turned around with a laugh when he suddenly froze as he saw the entire Dream Team standing tall with smug smiles on all of their faces.
"Ready to surrender?" Gwen asked as she placed her hand on her hip.
"Never!" Trapster said and went to shoot which ended with Gwen shooting a web on to the top of his gun, followed by his wrapping him up, and then finishing with Morgan tossing her shield and knocking him out.
"Alex, we need a cleanup of stupidity on isle three." Nia reported in as they quickly got to work rounding up all of the rest of the henchmen.
Peyton List as Roberta Mendez
