Emma had fallen asleep after finishing Regina's book. She was never much for reading, but she had to admit, the woman knew how to handle a business. She did give some good ideas in her book. The book laid beside her in her bed, while she was lying on her stomach, her arms tucked underneath her pillow. There was a knock outside her door, which didn't wake her up, until the knocking turned into very loud, echoing pounds.

"What's going on?" Emma jumped up from her bed, looking around the room, forgetting where she was. Her head turned to the sight of the door opening, followed by Zelena walking in and standing right beside the bed. An angry glare in her eye.

"I've been texting you." Zelena's hand welcomed itself against her waist.

How could Emma tell her that she was up all night reading her sister's book? She quickly covered up the book as Zelena looked down, picking up the device from the floor. Shit. It must have fallen out of the bed when she rolled over in her sleep.

"This is her lifeline." Zelena tossed the device against the mattress. "Strike two."

Emma's brow furrowed, "What? You can't call that a strike."

"Strike two. Now, would you kindly get yourself up so my sister can have her breakfast?"

"On my way." Emma got up from bed as soon as the door closed, gathering a change of clothes and heading into the bathroom for an early shower to become fully awake.

As she entered the bathroom, stripping all of her clothes, the lights switched on, leaving her questioning how in the hell that happened. She hadn't used her own bathroom yet, she had been using another one that was just down the hallway. She figured that way she could hear Regina if she needed her, if she was closer.

What was most questioning for Emma however wasn't the lights turning on by themselves, but that the shower actually talked. Literally, a robotic voice said something in a language she didn't understand as she picked an option from the screen inside the shower.

"Yeah," she answered, looking around the shower. What the hell kind of shower was this? "What the shit?!" She yelled out, feeling as an entire waterfall came down on her from the ceiling. The sting of the water was felt all over her body. "Hey!" Her hands pressed up against the glass, her eyes shut as tightly as they could. "Zelena?! Somebody help!" She called out, but the only thing that she was able to hear was opera music being blasted all over the house, including her bathroom.

After a nightmare of a shower, that Emma swore not to take in that bathroom ever again, she dressed up in a long sleeve shirt, jeans and her converse. Her hair was tied back in a messy ponytail as she rushed over to Regina's bedroom to put an end to the loudness of her so called music.

"Alexa, stop!" She shouted over the loudness of the music.

Regina's brows furrowed, while Ruby turned to look at her in silence. "I was listening to that."

"Can you finish up her morning exercise while I prepare her bath?" Ruby asked Emma, moving her way toward the bathroom.

Emma grabbed a hold of the brunette's right leg, she lifted it up until it bent at the knee and brought it back down slowly. Just as she was shown.

"May I have my music back on, please?"

"No," Emma answered, keeping up with the exercise for another set before moving to her other leg. "Look, I get it that you're trying to block out the world or whatever depressing thing you have going on here, but we have to get you listening to better music."

Regina scoffed, her brow furrowed, "This is beautiful, classic music. Have you ever actually listened to opera?"

"Oh, sure. You know, opera is very big in prison. You can hardly find a seat on opera night." Emma said sarcastically, earning an eye roll from the brunette. "You want classic music? Why can't you ever play some Queen? Now there was a great band. Freddy Mercury had fantastic vocals. No one could sing as high as him."

Regina's brows knitted as the blonde burst out into song. Her eyes closing for a short moment.

"Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening me. Galileo, Galileo, Galileo, Galileo, Galileo, Figaro - magnificoo" Emma smirked, grabbing Regina's arm she rotated it in a circular motion. "Amazing, isn't it? I sound just like him, I know."

"Yes," Regina's eyes looked over at Emma. "And when I closed my eyes- which I needed to, it's uncanny. Like identity theft."

Emma's eyes fell on the woman's scar that she had on her upper lip. She hadn't noticed it before. Has it always been there?

Regina frowned, "What?" She asked, wondering what had captured Emma's undivided attention.

"Nothing." The blonde looked away, moving to the other side of the bed.

"What is it?" Her head turned to the left, keeping her gaze on a nervous Emma.

"Was that from the accident?" She motioned to her own lip, feeling nervous to even ask.

Regina swallowed the lump in her throat, her eyes staring back up at the ceiling. "Yes." She answered, hating that scar now more than ever. "As if this wasn't enough of a reminder."

"Hey, come on." Emma released the woman's arm, her hands lifting up the hem of her own shirt. "Look," she exposed a scar near her ribs. But instead of the scar, Regina's eyes caught sight of a few abs hiding underneath. "This was from a car crash I suffered. I broke a rib. I have another on my right thigh that's from a fight I had while still in school."

Regina chuckles, watching as the blonde picks her arm back up again. "Yet, you can still move. You don't carry with you any regrets that shaped your life into something you don't want."

Emma glared, "That's bullshit, Gina. I've been to prison, and for that I gave up the most important person in my life. Believe me, that's my biggest regret."

"It didn't seem to end too bad for you. You ended up here." Regina looked over at Emma. "Of course, you have to suffer the burden of taking care of me."

Her eyes locked on Regina's. "I wouldn't call it a burden." The corner of Emma's lip tilted up into a tiny smile.

Regina's lips parted. Did she just say that? A tiny smile formed on her lips. Regina couldn't feel it, but Emma had been holding onto her hand through this entire conversation.

"Do you need help with her or do you think you can manage?" Ruby came out of the bathroom, her eyes on Emma, who immediately released Regina's hand at the sound of the other brunette's voice.

"No, I…" Emma turned to look at Regina once more. "I think I can manage."

Emma's eyes never left Regina's. She wanted to look, but it felt wrong at the same time. She was her employee after all. Her mouth dried, while other parts of her body were just as nervous as she felt as she reached for the bottle of shampoo and conditioner, setting them aside before turning on the water. She rolled up her sleeves, removing her shoes before walking into the shower where Regina was already waiting. Naked as the day she was born, strapped to her chair, which frankly, to Emma- it went unnoticed.

"Alright…" Emma's eyes focused on brown ones before her, that she could swear were staring into her soul. "Ready?"

"Yes." Regina murmured, not breaking eye contact with Emma, until the blonde moved behind her. Her heart was pounding a thousand miles per minute, banging against her chest like a drum. It had been years since anyone saw her naked… well… anyone she liked, anyway. And looking into Emma's eyes today, made her wonder if the woman could possibly like her, too. Was it really possible?

Sure, Ruby has had to bathe her a few times, when her sister was busy handling her other affairs. But that was them. This was Emma.

The water from the shower head cascaded over her face and her entire body. Her eyes closed as she felt the blonde's fingers begin to massage her scalp. She had skillful fingers at that, and Regina was sure glad she could feel it.

Emma's hands were trembling, not because she didn't know what to do, but because she had never had to bathe a grown woman before. Especially not one as attractive as Regina Mills. Okay, so she looked a little… and despite her first haunting experience with watching Ruby changing her catheter, Regina was really well developed in all places. For the love of God, stop staring… She moved to stand in front of the brunette, her fingers keeping up with their massage, getting lost in the white foam and black wet hair. Her eyes blinked as she began to fight back the warmth forming in her cheeks. It didn't help that Regina's eyes were constantly focused on her either.

"I do believe you're blushing, Ms. Swan," Regina couldn't help but comment, noticing the blush on the blonde's cheeks become more clearer. "I didn't take you for the blushing type."

Emma blinked, lowering her gaze. Did she really call her out on that? There was no way she could look her in the eye now. "To be fair, the only grown body I've ever bathed has been my own."

"But you have seen a naked woman before?"

"Oh, yeah… Plenty." Just not one as beautiful. Emma reached for the shower head, her eyes locking on brown orbs before her. "Eyes closed." She murmured.

A smirk tugged on Regina's lips, her eyes closing. She felt as the water cascaded over her once again, the foam formed from the shampoo sliding smoothly along her body. While for Emma, the aroma of apples and cinnamon worked her up more than she was already becoming. The scent would forever be engraved in her brain like a permanent tattoo.

Green eyes followed the shower head, rinsing off the fallen foam that landed right on the woman's bare breasts. Fuck me. She couldn't help but look.

"You aren't the first person to see me naked, Emma. It's okay if you look." Regina's eyes part open once the water stops cascading over her.

The blush on Emma's cheeks becomes even more noticeable. Her eyes avoided contact all together.

"Is this too much for you?" Regina asks, worried that for a minute, Emma doesn't want to look because of her condition.

"No…" Emma shook her head, "It's not that." She chuckled, "Trust me, I mean you're… a very beautiful woman." She swallowed the lump in her throat. Regina was indeed a beautiful woman, and Emma couldn't help but have thoughts… thoughts that she shouldn't be having, given the woman's condition. What the fuck is wrong with me?

"I promise I won't tell Zelena you looked," Regina teases, a smirk stretching across her lips.

Emma smirked, finally, her eyes locking on brown ones. "You have to admit, you're putting me in a rough spot here. It's like when you know you shouldn't look but it's hard not to look."

Regina chuckled, watching as Emma filled the sponge with body wash next. "Well, at least I was able to keep my good looks despite the accident. Still… I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to date me… like this."

Emma grabbed the brunette's right arm and scrubbed away. Her brow raised, "So, you've thought about dating?"

She scoffs. "Thought being the key word." She paused, "Who doesn't think about dating? But, it's silly. I haven't been on a date in… a long time."

"You can't be that rusty," she reached for her other arm and began scrubbing. "It's like sex. I haven't had any in a long time myself, let alone a date but you never forget what to do."

"Yes, it certainly does show."

"What?"

"That you haven't had sex in a long time." Regina smirked, noticing the blush on Emma's cheeks take place once again.

"Alright, now you're just teasing me."

The brunette chuckled, her heart beating more at ease, same as Emma's.

Emma entered her bedroom, leaning her back against the door and closing it in the process. "Holy shit," she was breathless. That bath was harder than she thought it would be, not because she didn't do a good job at bathing the woman, but because of who she bathed. Never in her life did she imagine she would have to bathe another human benign before. She never had that experience with her son, unfortunately, and the fact that she had a beautiful naked woman sitting in front of her didn't make it any more easier.

Regina was indeed beautiful. And if memory serves her, the woman was teasing her.

Emma shook her head. No. This is wrong. You can't think of your boss in a sexual way. Get real, Swan. She was just teasing you. There was no way Regina could like her. Emma however… was doomed. Yes, she liked Regina, and she hadn't liked anyone in a long time. Not since Henry's father. She liked her ever since she burst through those double doors and saw her sitting there, looking into her eyes.

But what did it all mean, really? Regina could have anyone she wanted. Anyone. Why want her- a thief who also stole from her? Ever since she started stealing, Emma never felt bad about anything she stole in her life. Until now…

"Shit," she muttered, leaning her head back against the door. She needed to get that book back from Henry. He would hate her, but could he really hate her more than he already did? Besides, it was the right thing to do. She wanted to do the right fucking thing for once, not have to steal ever again.

If she ever was going to actually have a chance with Regina. She had to change. Not just for her but for Henry.

Phew… She needed another shower. A cold one at that.

"There you are," Zelena's brow furrowed at the sight of a freshly showered Emma. "Did you take another shower?"

"Y-yeah. I got all wet…" That's for sure. She mentally scolded herself. "You know by helping Regina with… her bath."

Zelena remained quiet, a confused expression on her features. "Yes, my sister mentioned she was… thoroughly satisfied."

Emma blinked, remaining quiet, her heart once again racing. Why the hell was she so nervous?

"Well, if you have a minute. Come into the office. Regina has to go through her mail, and I would appreciate the help."

"Sure." Emma followed her into the office, her eyes landing on Regina, who was looking right at her. She gave Regina a small nod, which the brunette returned.

Don't be awkward. Emma kept telling herself, moving behind the brunette's desk to sit right beside her while Zelena sat by her other side.

"Alright, so this is very simple. We go through the mail, whatever Regina considers junk goes in this box," she points to a cardboard box to her left, "and all the answered mail, will go in this pile." She points to the pile on her right.

"Sounds easy enough." Emma looks over to Regina, who is watching her. She can pick up the brunette's scent of apples and cinnamon.

Regina catches a glimpse of the woman's pink cheeks. Clearly she is recalling her seeing her naked in the shower. The corner of her lip slightly tilts upward.

"Alright, this is junk," Zelena tosses a letter into the cardboard box, reaching for another letter. With the letter opener in hand, she tears it open, reading through it quickly before placing it before her sister. "Are you approving this?" Her head turned to her sister, who continued to watch Emma. "Regina?"

The brunette blinked, turning her head toward her sister, her eyes moving down toward the letter and reading through it quickly. "No. Toss it."

Zelena tosses it into the box, and continues through her pile of mail. While Emma opens up a letter and shows it to the brunette.

"Yes." Says Regina.

Emma's brows hit her hairline. "Seriously? You're just going to give them $10,000?"

"It's a non-profit."

The blonde chuckles. "Yeah, well I haven't seen a profit in a while either."

Within Emma's pile, she reaches for a pale blue envelope, inserting the letter opener into the flaps.

"No, no," Zelena leans across the table, snatching the envelope from the blonde's hand. "That's personal."

"A letter from an old flame or a new boyfriend?" Emma teases, smirking, her eyes on Zelena.

"Oh, not mine," Zelena smirked, eyeing the letter.

It's for Regina? Emma turned to Regina, who remained silent and serious. The blonde's thin lips were formed into a frown.

Zelena chuckled, reading through the letter. "He's persistent," she murmured.

He? Emma eyed the brunette.

"Throw it away." Said Regina, her eyes moving toward Emma.

"You don't even want to reply? For closure?" Asked Zelena.

"No." That was Regina's last word on that subject. That was a silly mistake she made, to please her sister. A mistake she would never make again.

Zelena placed the blue envelope into the trash pile, feeling disappointed that her sister didn't want to give herself a new chance with anyone. Or at least a good man like the one who had been writing to her.

"Regina, it's just a letter, and this time he-"

"Zelena, we've been over this. Now, can we continue? Please."

Emma cleared her throat, her chair scraping against the wooden floor. "I'm going to… get a glass of water." She walked out without looking back or saying another word. Truth was she wanted something stronger. Much stronger.

So, Regina had an ex or a new love interest… So what? Why did this bother her so much? Maybe because the woman clearly flirted with you, and kept this love interest of hers a secret? She shook her head. Why did this piss her off this much? So she liked the woman. So what? Regina was a very beautiful woman, it shouldn't shock Emma that she has someone who is interested in her enough to write her love letters. And yet, it did. But not because of her disability. She was fucking jealous.

"What was that about?" Zelena scoffed, shaking her head.

"I don't know." Regina murmured, looking straight ahead at the blonde, who became farther and farther away.

Is she jealous?
