pre-reading . material

Before you consume yourself in my profile there are a few things that I wanted to address before you read. First off, there is a great deal of extra material that I do not expect you to read it's just there for those who are either bored or interested in me. Unlike most writers who have established themselves I don't have very many stories. Though I like to start new stories and leave many stories unfinished I feel like I should finish the stories I already have rather than write a new one. I don't believe that I have "muses" that contradict my actions and therefore I am the sole reason behind anything that occurs in my stories.

Up until now I generally tried to drag things out as long as I could in order to write a certain amount (page wise or file size) per chapter. Now I believe that it is best that I only use significant events in my stories. Dragging something out too long can be dangerous - it generally means losing the interest of your readers. If it takes 30+ chapters for the main characters in a romance story to actually kiss then you've got some troubles. Even with short chapters that is far to long to drag things out.

I am an avid reader as well a writer, though I haven't been on FanFiction.net as a writer for several years or as a reader I intend on indulging myself as much as I can. This is my comeback/return to FanFiction.net after a 1 year+ absence. During this time I spent most of my time either roleplaying or simply having a life away from the computer. It wasn't until recently that re-reading an old story sparked my interest and allowed me to re-write one of my older stories.

Expect several new stories from me, though you shouldn't expect my old stories to continue on any further unless they have been updated this year.

Funny story, actually. At the time I was completely obsessed with Shawnna (a female rapper) and Shadow The Hedgehog (Sonic's rival/friend). Somehow I combined these two and came out with "Shadow Shawnna". I have changed my username several times, my most notorious username was "Tainted Hollywood Diva" which came from my liking of Melina and my tainted/evil story ideas. These are my past two usernames and the history of their happenings, my current username history is below.

My current user name is one that I have "gone" by for a while now. My reasoning is that a lot of people will refer to people who are "forgettable" as "that one chick" and I feel that I am also very forgeable. So I incorporated it with the word apologue (see definition below) in order to come up with "That One Apologue".

I probably won't be updating my old stories unless I am inspired to do so. Currently the only two stories that I intend on working on are Fighting Temptations and Stuck With The Likes Of You. Why? Because I feel that it's best to leave the past alone - a lot of these stories are highly outdated and will only confuse people because a lot of roster changes have taken place since I last updated.
