heres my first Fire Emblem fanfic and it is a Ashe and Marianne or Mariashe fanfic, I just find them to be so cute together, (and tbh probably my favorite pairing in the game) so here is a one shot fanfic so yeah, let's begin!

"Dang it Sylvain!" Ashe yelled out as he sat on his bed covering his flushed face with his hands.

Reason why he is like this is because one of the most embarrassing things has just happened to him and to a girl named Marianne. Reason why is because He and Marianne kissed in the dining hall, on the lips, with people watching them.

And you want to know the worst part?

"IT WAS A FREAKING ACCIDENT! Oh my goodness how was it that Sylvain was talking to me in how to impress girls, even though I didn't ask for any of that, then after our talk he pats me on the back so hard I get pushed forward and at the same time Marianne turns around and then our lips connect! That had to be the biggest coincidence of all time!"

He can still fully remember the moment after they pulled away from each other

"M-Marianne! I-I...I didn't mean to..."

Marianne was just blushing and she didn't try to speak so she just turned around and ran out of the dining hall.

"Wait!" Ashe spoke with his hands held out..But she was already out of sight.

Soon enough Sylvain Put his arms around his shoulders.

"Wow, After our talk you immediately hit a jack pot, I'm impressed." Sylvain said

Ashe's face was completely red at this point.

"SHUT UP!" Ashe said as he ran out of the Dining Hall and to his dormitory.

"*Sigh* how did all of this even happened?" Ashe wondered

Was this a punishment by the Goddess is it was then he wishes for the goddess to forgive him. But of it wasn't that than why did it happen? Was it Fate? He doesn't know. All he does know is that he enjoyed the sensation he felt when they kissed and just how soft they were when the-

"STOP IT!!!!" Ashe yelled out furiously shaking his head. "Don't think like that!" He said as he was laying on his bed. "I should go and apologize to Marianne." Ashe then got off the bed and went out of his dormitory.

He then began to search for her. He looked around the monastery for a while to see if she was there, He thought that she was at particular area known as the stable knowing how much she cares for horses but she wasn't there as well. He then went to the cathedral thinking she might be there praying but when he got there she wasn't there as well!

"Oh, hi there Ashe." A voice called out.

Ashe turned around and it was Claude.

"Oh hello Claude."

"I couldn't help but notice you have been roaming around the monastery for a while now, Are you looking for someone?"

"I'm looking for Marianne, I want to talk to her about what happened in the dining hall."

"Looking for your lady I see. Well I actually just talked to her right after the moment you had with her in the dining hall, well I tried to talk to her anyway, she only responded with a "I need to time for myself" response."

"My La-Nevermind that! Where is she exactly?"

"She's in her room probably. Again I tried to talk to her but she only gave one response. It honestly kinda feels weird talking to someone behind a closed door, I don't know how the professor does it when he talks to Bernadetta but I digress. Anyways if you've been looking around and you still can't find her then she's probably still in her room."

"I see, thank you Claude."

And with that Ashe walked away to find her.

"Um Ashe do you want me to tell you which room specifically she lives in so that you don't mess up and go into someone else's room?" Claude spoke out

Ashe walked back to him.

"Yes please."

"Alright then"

Ashe now stood in front of Mariannes door and he hesitated a bit but after a few moments he knocked.

"M-Marianne? It's me Ashe, I want to talk to you about what happened in the dining hall. Well more so that I would like to apologize to you."

To his surprise the door actually opened and now in front of him was Marianne.

"You wanted to Apologize?" Marianne spoke

"Yes, I would like to apologize about me kissing you at the Dining hall. I know that it caused you a lot of embarrassment and attention that you obviously dont want, I'm really sorry about all of that. I hope that you can forgive me." Ashe said honestly

"It's okay Ashe I forgive you. Plus I knew you didn't intend on doing it. Claude saw the whole thing transpire and told me."

"Oh did he? So that meam he told you that Sylvain patted my backs so hard that I got pushed and well you know?"

Marianne only nodded at that.

"Oh that's good to hear!" Ashe said but he noticed that Marianne was looking down and looked sad. "Hey what's wrong?"

"Oh sorry, its just that...did you know that was my first kiss?"

"Oh! Was it!? I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I took your first kiss...Well if it's any consolation that was also my first kiss as well."

"Oh I see..."

It just turned awkwardly silent very quickly

"I'm sorry that I wasn't the girl you wanted as your first kiss." Marianne suddenly said.

"Oh no, please don't apologize for that. Honestly I should be the one saying something similar to you."

It was once again an awkward silence. That was Ashe decided to say something, something that would probably make things more awkward.

"Honestly, I'm actually very glad that my first kiss was with you." Ashe said with a blush on his face.

Marianne looked at him with a surprised face.

"R-really? You're glad that it was with me?" Marianne said.

Ashe looked at her and nodded shyly

"Oh...Then I have a something to ask of you. Will you hear me out?

"Absolutely."

"Thank you. So Ashe can you enter my room please?"

"Your room? Um, sure." Ashe said a little confused

"Thank You."

So with that they both entered her room. Marianne then sat on her bed and Ashe did the same though kept a little bit of a distance.

"Sonwhat do you want?" Ashe said

Marianne just looked down while blushing, it took a moment for her to speak. Until she finally did.

"Listen, Ashe when the moment happened at the Dining hall, I...liked it..., I liked the feeling of it and I wish to relive it again...with You" Marianne said while furiously blushing.

"O-Oh. You want to...kiss again? Is that what you're saying?" Ashe said who is now also blushing

Marianne just nodded, then soon after Ashe scooted closer to her.

"Very well, I'll do it for you Marianne."

"Thank You"

Ashe was the first one making a move, moving his right hand to cup her left cheek. They both looked each other as they both begin to lean in. Soon enough their lips made contact again, this time properly, both of them felt that feeling again but this time obviously they actually enjoyed it and were not being watched by many people. After a while they broke the kiss as they looked at each other both smiling.

"I love you." Ashe suddenly said.

Aaaaaand soon enough his eyes widened after what he said. Marianne looked at him with wide eyes as well.

"So you just-"

"Yes...yes I did." Ashe said fully admitting it now that the jig is up.

"How long?"

"For a long time"

"Really?"

"Yes. It alright if you don't feel the same way I-"

Marianne cut him off by embracing him.

"Uhh Marianne?"

"I love you to Ashe."

"Y-you do?"

Marianne nodded.

"How long?" Ashe wondered.

"For a while now."

"I-I see...so what happens now?"

"I don't know , but for right now can we stay like this for now?"

"Certainly " Ashe responded as he embraced her back.

And for a long time they just stayed in each other's arm.

God I love this pairing!
