"So you're All Might and not a secretary that looks like him?"
"Correct" Toshinori as he quickly buffed up before going back.
"And there is someone out there that can take and give quirks? And has lived since the beginning of quirks?"
"Yes and yes"
"And he hurt you so badly you haven't been able to use your quirk as long?"
"Yes"
"And you want me to fight him with your power?"
"If it comes to it, when me and him fight again, I'm unsure I will survive, so I need insurance that One For All doesn't die with me" Toshinori said before Izuku dashed into him as he held onto him.
"I don't want to lose you" Izuku also didn't want tears to come but they did.
"I know young Midoriya" Toshinori embraced the teen.
"Why me?" Izuku asked
"Because, All Might stops crime, you save people in more ways than that, like that crook who was robbing that store, and your conviction to freedom is what may give the peace I have been fighting for"
"Can I think about it?" Izuku asked
"Of course my boy...are you going to let go?"
"Give me a minute or so" Izuku said as he continued hugging Toshinori.
Eventually, he left and went to the bathroom, where he proceeded to vomit as well as mostly just scream, fortunately people just thought he was stressed.
"Thank god for male mental health not being taken seriously" Izuku tried to joke but it was a bit darker than usual so he ended up just feeling worse for saying it.
All because of one question.
"Am I really the right person?"
This was a question that followed Izuku back to the class.
But he was brought out of it by the crowd outside the class.
"Oh my fans?" Izuku said as he slipped between his classmates to meet them.
"Hello, unfortunately I don't feel like styling today but we can see about tomorrow?"
"Damn it Deku, they are obviously scoping out the competition, as a class that survived a villain attack it's obvious" Kacchan pushed past Izuku.
"Though it's pointless, either I'll be the one on top or Deku will pull some bullshit"
"Awe thanks Best Friend Bakugo" Izuku cheered.
"Fuck off" Kacchan growled as he shoved his way through the mob.
When Shinso laid eyes on Midoriya, he couldn't help but smile with determination. He had listened to his advice and although his body hurt, he would show him what he can do, even if Izuku can't remember who he is.
"Hello everyone" Izuku greeted with a smile.
"I just want to say, stay stylish and I can't wait to compete with you all as equals"
"Yeah yeah drop that nice guy act, we know you are just here so you can use your quirk" a random girl shouted obviously a sheep when it came to her own opinions
"And what is wrong with that, I still worked hard and here I am" Izuku smiled
"Wait he isn't denying it"
"Why would I, being true to yourself is the most stylish thing you can do and I mean that for every situation, even outside of being a hero" Izuku smiled as he walked out.
Shinso was amazed by his words and began to regret brainwashing the only person who seemed to support him.
The next two weeks were spent training for the sports festival, during this time Izuku went to Deika City, which fortunately, was surrounded by forest, so Izuku bounced his way over with little fear of fines.
Today was the day Izuku had set a meeting with a group who wanted to change quirk laws or even update them.
When he got to a street that maybe led somewhere he followed, plot would help him and the GPS.
And there it was, Deika City covered by forest and not easy to access via train.
"Izuku Midoriya" Slidin' Go laid a hand on Izuku's shoulder.
"Ahhh where the fuck- Izuku honestly had a metaphorical heart attack when Slidin'Go spoke.
"Sorry to scare you Midoriya, welcome to Deika city where most of the inhabitants share our views of liberation"
"Really, I guess this is bigger than a group"
"Much bigger" Slidin' Go muttered before he led him to the tallest tower, on the way Izuku noticed people looking at him but looking away once he looked at them.
Going up the elevator in the largest building in Deika city really made Izuku think how big this group actually was.
When the door opened, there was a man behind a desk, simply, just a man behind a desk.
"Hello Midoriya, I am Rikiya Yotsubashi, the somewhat leader of this group"
"This isn't a group, isn't it?" Izuku asked as he prepared to use the mighty crowbar, something was wrong.
"You are correct, but first, we are not enemies, please listen to my proposal and then decide your next course of action" Rikiya said with a smile.
Izuku took a seat and Rikiya began to talk.
"I have heard you have read and follow the words of Destro, even wrote a thorough report on it that was deemed to inspire terrorism, is this true?" Rikiya knew it was true, he had skeptic research everything about Izuku Midoriya and most schools scan and electronically file their students' work so it wasn't' too hard to find the report.
"Yes, I found the book pretty early in my life, and although I don't like the idea of forcing people to use their quir-
"Meta abilities" Rikiya interrupted with a smile.
"Although I disagree with forcing people to use their meta abilities, I honestly don't think there was another way at the time"
"Right" Rikiya smiled that same smile.
"Now as I'm sure you're aware, this isn't a meeting to discuss our issues with quirk laws and this group isn't a group"
"Yeah I figured when I felt the eyes of everyone on me as though I were the Messiah, this whole place is in on it"
"Correct this whole place has one goal. Freedom, and we want the world to be like Deika city, did you notice some questionable things on the way over?" Rikiya spoke with a couple lies as Izuku began to relax.
"I saw someone wearing all black while having pink hair, they should've introduced some light into the-" Izuku began
"Not that, in Deika city, we believe in liberation so that's why this whole place is safe from 'quirk laws' and meta ability usage is even encouraged" Rikiya interrupted again.
"Wait, are you telling me that everyone in here is allowed to use their qui- meta abilities?"
"Yes and we are planning a mass showing of our meta abilities in protest to these laws" Rikiya lied again as he continued
"However, currently our number is small, sure a whole city protesting is a nuisance but multiple cities, multiple heroes protesting, now that will send a message"
"And so my proposition for you is, simply be yourself, but point people here the same way Slidin' Go pointed you here, but I want you to do more, I have seen the impact you leave wherever you go, and so I want you to be the face, the poster child of what using your meta ability freely is like, we will pay your fines, we will even let you pursue another career, in music for example, all we ask is you speak out about liberation" Rikiya grinned as he knew he had this kid.
"I'm in" Izuku said with determination burning through his body.
"Of course you will be interviewed by someone, but that will come later, any questions?"
"So it's only this city?" Izuku asked.
"Yes" Rikiya lied again before continuing.
"Now Izuku, I hear the sports festival is coming up, and you have been given two weeks off to train, I got some tools that may help you train".
"So what do you think? The shoes will allow you to grind faster due to the soles" Rikiya smiled as Izuku put on the shoes and a new suit that matched his hero one except for one thing.
"Woah" Izuku clicked a colour and a piece of clothing on his holographic pad and that clothing became that colour instantly, he even got highlights that changed colour.
"Well Izuku, do you want to test them out?" Rikiya asked as he opened the window.
'hey ho, let's go'
Izuku smiled as he jumped out the window, with the mighty crowbar in hand.
"He even wears Destro's mark, he really believes in his own version of the philosophy, unfortunately it isn't the philosophy held by the Meta Liberation Army" Rikiya spoke into his mic.
"No worries, we will use him till our goal is achieved, after that is up to you supreme commander" a voice spoke back.
Styling around Deika was a new experience especially with other quirk users, he even raced some people, but they overtook him most of the time, it seems they had been training their quirks for a while. After wards he was just chilling on a rail chugging a Monster like it was overcharge.
"Hey style child" an elderly called Izuku down.
"I'm sorry to be a bother but can you take this to my son, he lives over here" the lady pointed to an area of the map and gave Izuku some pocket money for the trouble.
Izuku took the package to the son and for the next couple hours he went round the city delivering things for people and accumulating more and more money which he loved.
"What? I'm already trying to be a hero for freedom, might as well add money to the list"
This was it, this was what Izuku wanted, a place where quirk usage was allowed, he could even leave UA and go the musician route if he wanted thanks to Rikiya.
His thoughts drifted to Toshinori.
"Be a hero or follow my dreams? Or both? Ugh I miss it being between pink or orange coloured highlights"
Heyo I'm not sure if the students got 2 weeks off to train. If they didn't then let's just say Izuku went to Deika city after he finished school or something.
So this one of the first bits of canon divergence and it was difficult not following a set plan but got there in the end.
As usual, any music requests or things you want to see Izuku do, I'll try to accommodate although not all the ideas will be used.
Have a Stylish day.
