The next day Izuku went to Deika city again, today he had to do an interview that would be published and used to inspire others to join the Anti Quirk Law Movement in protests.

Well that's what they told Izuku.

"Hello my name is Chitose Kizuki, I'm going to be conducting your interview"

"My, you were also born stylish" Izuku said as he smiled at the slight blush on her blue face.

"I was actually born more curious but I guess stylish is more fun" Kizuki smiled as she began.

"So Izuku Midoriya this interview will be mostly about your quirk and your experiences dealing with quirk laws"

"Oh boy that means a flashback chapter"

"Excuse me?"

"No worries, continue on"

"Ok what is your quirk?" Kizuki hated saying 'quirk' but it was necessary.

"My meta ability is Style, it basically let's me ignore logic" Izuku saw the smirk on Kizuki.

"What about the instances of when your quirk affects others?"

"Well, I guess the best way to explain it, is when I get to Style 3 people tend to, well not copy my style but get affected by it, if I dance then people may dance with me" Izuku explained.

"Style 3? How many Style levels do you have?"

"Well in theory, infinite, but every time I access a new style level I get a one time power up, that I call overdrive, currently I have 5 Style levels but I haven't gotten to Style 5 yet, it's like leveling up in a game, the xp required to go to level 3 is different to going to level 4".

"But the more I access style levels the faster I can access them again" Izuku continued

"What is 'Overdrive'"

"Honestly it's too inconsistent to explain, best way, shit gets real" Izuku laughed

"I've noticed that there is never a Style 1?"

"There is, I've just accessed it so much that I'm pretty much always at it and can usually access Style 2 after a minute of styling" Izuku explained

"Interesting, now when you've developed your quirk…

Flashback to being four

Currently Izuku and Katsuki were playing music, well the music sounded like a cat falling on a piano but it was an improvement.

"Izuku, Katsuki, don't you want to go outside and play with the other kids?" Hisashi Midoriya asked.

"Nah they're boring, all they want to do is play heroes" Izuku replied.

"They are also shit at playing villains" Katsuki smirked as Hisashi left.

"Woah!" Izuku said as his quirk activated for the first time.

"Izuku?"

"So you are my audience? well how about a song we can play?" Izuku said

"Kacchan we doing mary's little lamb"

"Uhh ok" Kacchan was confused but still played.

The music was semi understandable mainly because this is the first song they learned but near the end Izuku began to move and slam his foot on the floor as a beat began to enter the world.

"Izuku please be-" Hisashi stopped when he heard the beat and saw Izuku's dance.

"Izuku! Go outside and stop being weird!" Hisashi shouted as he grabbed the guitar off the weeping Izuku.

Kacchan was having trouble holding himself back but he managed.

"Ok daddy dearest, come on Kacchan, let's go outside so we can style on them fools" Izuku jumped and flipped over his dad, grabbing his guitar.

"Izuku!" Hisashi ran after his son while Kacchan stood shocked at what Izuku did.

"What dad? You wanted me to go outside?" Izuku said as he ran out the door and jumped and on instinct he grinded down to the rail.

He ran about the place strumming the guitar as he followed his instincts and so he bounced, grinded and honestly showed the world that he was here and he was stylish, all Bakugo could do is watch with envy brewing within, eventually he had to go home and when Izuku also went home, his dad screamed at him while his mom tried to stop him.

"The day I got my quirk was the day my father revealed he was too boring"

For the next couple months Izuku was forced to "be normal" and not allowed to use his quirk, eventually he went months without using it and eventually even his walk became like his dad's, who couldn't be happier to have a normal son.

One day though, they learned that style was more than a quirk held by Izuku, style was Izuku.

The Midoriya and Bakugo families were viewing a street market full of many cheap items.

Izuku walked in a pair of blue shorts and a black top, he hated it but it made his dad happy so it's a win-win

"How is it a win-win?" Izuku asked but quieted down at his father's disdainful face.

Kacchan watched this, he saw how Izuku became quiet and meek, strangely he liked him like this, it fueled his superiority, but deep down he was mad and he wanted to help, yet he couldn't.

Eventually they were allowed to split up and Kacchan took Izuku to the clothes stall, they had clothing that was painted with fades.

Without thinking Izuku bought a pink t-shirt with purplish fades.

"Now this will go with my shorts" Izuku said as he went to another section but then music began playing.

(Other side by the greatest showman)

'Right here, right now, I put the offer out

He tried to stop the smile.

'I don't want to chase you down, I know you see it'

He tried to stop moving with the music.

'You run with me, And I can cut you free'

He tried to stop being weird.

'Out of the drudgery and walls you keep in'

He tried to stop himself

'So trade that typical for something colorful

And if it's crazy, live a little crazy'

Oh fuck it all

Izuku began to dance and sing along to the song as he let the music take over, he drew a mini crowd who were amazed at his skills.

This was the first time Izuku felt happy since his quirk manifested and he never wanted this to end.

"Deku?" Kacchan saw Izuku's face and he knew that the quiet Deku he named was gone.

"IZUKU!" Hisashi grabbed Izuku's arm and took him away Inko pleading with him to let Izuku have fun and Kacchan followed.

"No, I want to keep going" Izuku tried to pull away but he was grabbed by his shoulders

"WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE NORMAL!" Hisashi yelled at Izuku who stared at him, no tears dropped, just pure determination.

"Dad" Izuku spoke as a little beat came from him.

"I'm done taking this" he smiled as he kicked his dad in the shin before backflipping back, suddenly a new song started playing

"Good timing" he said as his father went to grab him again, Izuku jumping on his arm to bounce over him, for a child Izuku was quite agile.

A slap made Izuku turn back to see his mother who had just slapped Hisashi.

"Can you, for once, let Izuku be Izuku and not you?" She spoke with anger that had built up over the months.

"He's not normal" Hisashi tried to plead but an explosion brought his attention to Bakugo who had decided that he was going to help.

"I'm done taking this shit, they are done taking it, we- Kacchan was interrupted by both Izuku and the feeling that rose from his stomach.

"We're not gonna take it" Izuku sang.

Music started playing as Izuku began to sing, joined by his mother and Kacchan.

"Oh no, we ain't gonna take it, We're not gonna take it anymore"

Hisashi had a face of shock at Izuku who danced with defiance in his eyes.

"We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, this is our life, this is our song" they shouted at Hisashi who felt like a little bitch right now. Izuku's words.

Mitsuki and Masaru followed the music along with the rest of the crowd and found Hisashi in the middle of a shouting and singing match.

"We don't want nothin', not a thing from you" Inko said that the loudest as she pointed to Hisashi

Style 1 Overdrive

People began taking instruments from the racks, of course they paid for them first.

"Your life is trite and jaded, boring and confiscated" The Bakugo's joined in

"If that's your best, your best won't do" the usually quiet Masaru shouted, honestly the Bakugo's didn't like Hisashi, too much of a bragger in their opinion.

Hisashi looked at his son, his wife, both looked happy, but it wasn't normal.

He walked off as the singing continued and never came back.

As the days went on Izuku became more and more like the Izuku you know today, unfortunately there was one who couldn't help but feel great anger at him and eventually he would leave him.

Flashback end

A tear went down Kizuki's face as the she finished her questions

"Thank you Midoriya, that will be it for now" she quickly got up and left without saying a word.

"Uhh ok, guess I'm just gonna work on my styling" Izuku said as he went through the other way out.

"Such liberation, so beautiful" she thought as more tears came.

"I must have this published immediately, the people need to read this"

"Izuku Midoriya, you are a symbol of revolution, shame you don't follow our ideology"

For the rest of the time off, Izuku would go to Deika city, and train whilst having fun delivering things and racing the others, he even won once, but he did read about his interview and damn that reporter was good, he already had a new following of people who would sing at the protests that All Might started.

He wanted to hang out with the style squad but he figured they were all busy with their own training.

Eventually the sports festival came around and he had a speech to give when his class left the waiting area.

"Wish me luck"

"Midoriya" the face of Todoroki came into view.

"Um sup man?" Izuku was confused by Todoroki's face.

"I don't remember much of the USJ, but I know that you made me use his fire and for that, I give a declaration of war"

"Hey man, we're all mostly friends here" Kirishima went to defuse the hostility.

"Well I give you all a declaration of war" Izuku stood with his arms on his hips.

"It's Style Vs The Plebs!"

It was time for the classes to show themselves and although class 1A was given a larger applause, they didn't let it affect them.

"And now for the athletes' oath by the 1A Student Representative, Izuku Midoriya!"

The heroine Midnight announced as Izuku, with his uniquely coloured gym suit, walked up to the podium with a smile.

"Hellooooo heroes and citizens, It is I, the guy who you have seen dancing, also the guy who pays multiple fines just so I can express myself" Izuku began with a smile, and the crowd quieted down.

'what's he doing?' Aizawa wondered

"Recently as you may be aware, my class was attacked by roughly 70 ish villains, yet the 20 students with 2 injured teachers still won" the crowd cheered as Izuku let his smile drop.

"Now imagine if that were a city and there were no heroes, what would you do?" That shut them up again.

'Where else to voice your opinion than on live TV being broadcast globally?' Aizawa grinned.

"Use your meta abilities? Then be labeled as villains? Or let yourself and others die, knowing you followed the law?"

"I am here as someone who says 'no' to quirk laws and I am here to win for meta liberation" Izuku placed his thumb between his eyebrows and pointed up with the same hand.

Many people surprisingly cheered and clapped at that while the others tried to voice their opinion that Izuku should be punished for his views.

"Oh and to those competing, be stylish, use your full power or else the rest will leave you in the dirt" Izuku smiled again as he did a quick dance before jumping back to his class, all of which had their jaws on the floor at what he just said.

Heyo one thing I should probably admit this, I don't actually have a set plan for this story, every chapter has about 10 seconds of thought before I write it. This morning I didn't think I'd be writing a flashback but a couple minutes into the beginning I improvised and boom.

I'm not one for speeches so yeah, that's all I got.

Regardless this chapter was so much fun to write, and I'm so happy that I was the one to write it, but I'll be even happier if someone else decides to write their own fanfiction with sunset overdrive X mha, I'll even give the story a shout out if I like it, and if I'm asked.

Oh and for Style one overdrive, it was pretty weak but obviously it's the weakest style, well that and because plot

Have a Stylish day.
