4. Announcement

Hello my readers, it's been a while. First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates. The reason I haven't made any updates in so long is because of a combination of writers block and loss of interest. However, now I have returned to finish what I started with this fanfic. Secondly, the current chapters are going under a major rewrite now that I have more experience as a fanfic writer. Now that I have regained the interest I lost, I'm back to writing this fanfic with an improved plot.

For those of you who were patiently waiting for updates, I would like to once again apologize. I assure you that I won't neglect this fanfic a second time as I would never abandon my fanfics intentionally. Also, I'm willing to accept anything you have to say to me for not updating for so long. I sincerely hope that you will continue to support this fanfic now that I'm back to writing it.

Please keep in mind that the previous changes will have either slight or enormous changes to them due to my rewriting them. So I would like you all to be a little more patient as I rewrite them before any new chapters can be written. I know this is a selfish request after having you wait so long, but I'm willing to get on my hands and knees and beg you to give this fanfic another chance.

If you choose not to, then I understand and will respect your decision. After all, the fault lies with me for keeping you waiting for almost three whole years with no updates to speak of. Thank you for taking the time to read this announcement and I hope to see you all again as this fanfic is born anew.

Also, if I'm so bold as to make another selfish request, I would appreciate it if you would stop by my profile and leave a vote in the poll I currently have up. I probably have no right to ask this of you, and a lot of you have probably given up on this fanfic, but I want to make up for lost time in any way I can. Rest assured that this poll will take any attention away from Secrets of Ikebukuro as I continue rewriting the chapters. If you do leave a vote, I will be eternally grateful and promise to make the chapters of this fanfic the best my current abilities will allow.
