Here are some additional notes and extended summaries on my most recent/favorite works. At the moment, I have one sequel seriously planned, one multi-chapter AU in progress, and have (finally) completed BTLR. Swell.

The Gods of Luck

Main Character: Jenna
Summary: When her brother disappeared years ago, Jenna couldn'taccept that he was dead. When she came of age, she joineda mercenary company. To everyone, she's Jerome, a loyal and competent scout-leader of Suhei's Shadows. She manages to keep the fact that she's a female a secret, but not without a little luck and a lot of quick thinking. At what starts out as a simple campaign to wipe out a group of bandits, strained foreign relations plunge Jenna into an intriguing adventure, in which she'll meet many a friend, foe, and the fun-loving gods of luck who like nothing more than to cause trouble for their mortal of choice.

Beyond the Lake's Reflection
Type: Multi-chapter AU
Status: Complete
Main Character: Mia
Summary:Mia is theicy-mannered convent girl without a past; Garet, a charming and funny guard, loyal to the end; Ivan is obviouslythe wise, young advisor and a Master Mage; and Isaac is a handsome prince dissatisfied with his life. They're all brought together in the capital of the kingdom Angara, Vale, for some unexplainable reason. Characters, histories, villains, and relationships are introduced in this story about a girl who wants to find her family and home, amidst the threats of war and troubled alliances between kingdoms.

The Other Side of Night
Type: Canon Songfiction, one-shot
Status: Complete
Main Character: Picard
Summary: A sad, angsty songfiction describing Picard's guilt as he remembers the death of a close friend and loved one. He doesn't know if she heard him tell her what he felt in his heart - and the memory haunts him, even in his place of solace, the sea. But with true, mutual love, anything is possible - and for a brief moment in his dreams, he is finally content. One of my favorites of my own works, because it explores the possibility of a love that transcends death.
