"The team will start in two days." Said Cyborg.
"Any questions?" Asked Superman.
"Who's going to be on this team?" Asked Kevin.
"And where is our base going to be?" Asked Ben.
"We'll send you the files on all your team mates tonight." Answered Batman.
"And your base will be Mt. Justice in Happy Harbor." Added Flash.
"Wait!" Said Gwen, "Isn't that the original Justice League headquarters?"
"And wasn't that location compromised and all the villains in this world know about it?" Asked Kevin.
"Think of it as hiding in plain sight." Answered the Martian Manhunter. Before anything else could be said, there was a flash of blue light.
Now...
"Ben." Whispered the mysterious new figure before he fell to the ground.
"Paradox!" Shouted Ben as he and Gwen ran to check on the time walker.
"Help us get him to the infirmary." Said Gwen to the Justice League. Once Paradox was in the infirmary and stable, the teen heroes had some explaining to do.
"So, who is this guy?" Asked Superman.
"His name is Professor Paradox." Answered Ben.
"He can travel through time and space." Continued Gwen.
"And we really only see him when the world's gonna end or something big like that." Added Kevin.
"We've never seen him injured though, not even so much as a cut on him." Continued Ben.
"What do you think could have done this?" Asked Batman.
"Honestly, I have no idea." Answered Ben.
"Before now, if you asked, I would've said nothing." Added Gwen.
"I think we can all agree that whoever or whatever did this, can't be good." Said Kevin.
"Worst of all, is that it is most likely coming for us next." Said Gwen. Before anything else could be said, alarms started going off throughout the Watchtower.
"We just can't seem to catch a break lately." Stated the Martian Manhunter.
"Metallo and Amazo?" Questioned Superman now that he, along with everyone else, were watching the main monitor in the Watchtower, which was displaying the reason for the alarm sounding. It was alerting the league to the threat of two powerful villains wrecking havoc in Metropolis.
"A trap?" Asked Ben, wanting to know the reason for this unlikely team up.
"Only one way to find out." Answered Superman heading to the teleporter.
"I hope you're not planning on going by yourself." Said Batman, also walking toward the teleporter. "Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, you two should come as well."
"What's the plan?" Asked Green Lantern as he and Wonder Woman moved to stand on the teleporter.
"Green Lantern and Wonder Woman will deal with Metallo, while Superman and I deal with Amazo." Answered Batman, and with that, the four heroes were gone and the remaining heroes in the Watchtower moved to watch the security feed of the battle.
"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up." Said Metallo when he saw Superman and the others appear. "And you brought friends. This should be fun." After he finished speaking, the feet of all four heroes were frozen to the ground.
"What is the meaning of this?" Questioned Wonder Woman as the ice continued to rise up the heroes bodies. That's when Captain Cold came out of a nearby alley, along with Joker and Atrocitus.
"Hello Batsy." Said Joker before laughing his signature maniacal laugh.
"Joker." Spat Batman before the ice rose to his mouth preventing him from speaking, doing the same to the other heroes as well. Just then however, Captain Cold was hit with a sonic blast, while Atrocitus was hit with the Martian Manhunter's laser vision. That was when Flash ran up to, and punched, Amazo, sending him back a few feet.
"This isn't over." Said Metallo before he, and the others began dematerializing, "Not by a long shot." He finished before disappearing completely.
"So what, this was another attempt at the Legion of Doom?" Asked Ben.
"Isn't it kind of too soon?" Asked Gwen.
"Because we didn't already have enough to worry about with Paradox." Interrupted Kevin.
"They might be calling themselves something else." Began Superman, ignoring the half Osmosian, "But yes, they're all the same."
"A group of villains working together to bring down the Justice League." Explained Batman.
"And who knows who else they have on their team." Said Wonder Woman.
"Well it can't be anyone we just fought right?" Asked a hopeful Ben.
"I'm not picking up any recent prison breakouts." Said Cyborg, quickly cycling through all the prison communications for any clues.
"We're going to have to put together your team earlier than expected." Said Batman looking at the three teens.
"So this is Mt. Justice. The original headquarters for the Justice League." Said Kid Flash as he and the rest of the newly dubbed Young Justice team were standing in the cave, watching several members of the Justice League moving heavy machines and just generally setting up the cave.
"I see introductions are out of the way." Said Batman approaching the team that consisted of Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Nightwing, Kid Flash, Batgirl, Red Robin, and Supergirl.
"Why the early invite?" Asked Supergirl, "I thought we weren't supposed to start as a team until tomorrow? Not that I'm complaining."
"Yesterday there was a coordinated attack against the Justice League. We want you to try to figure out where their base is located and which villains are on this team. So far, we know of Captain Cold, Amazo, Metallo, Joker, and Atrocitus."
"Do we know anything else?" Asked Nightwing.
"We believe that Harley Quinn might also be on this team. We also believe that Professor Ivo might know something as his android is apart of this team. You might also want to try questioning T.O. Morrow, rival scientists tend to keep tabs on each other." Answered Batman. Just then Superman landed next to the caped crusader.
"We're all done with the renovations." Said the Man of Steel.
"Good." Replied Batman, "I was just finishing explaining the situation to the team."
"Is Red Tornado here yet?" Asked the male Kryptonian.
"He just arrived. He's in his room right now." Answered Ben.
"Oh." Said Batman, appearing to have just remembered something, "You are not to engage the team of villains under any circumstances. When you find where they're hiding you tell the League." He said before walking away with Superman.
"Do you think they'll actually tell us and not try to fight the villains?" Asked Superman when they were out of ear shot of the teens. Batman didn't answer and instead just glared.
Hours later, once everyone had settled in to the cave, Ben decided, with the help of Gwen and Kevin, that he should call everyone into the training room in the cave for some team training. Once everyone was gathered in the room, a simulation began. They were in Metropolis and three robots appeared before changing into Bizarro, Black Adam, and Sinestro.
"Let's split in to groups." Said Ben, "Nightwing, Kevin, and Supergirl, take down Bizarro, Gwen, Batgirl, and Kid Flash, take down Sinestro. Red Robin, you're with me. We've got Black Adam." And with that the heroes split up to take down their respective villains.
Kevin absorbed the concrete below up and formed boxing gloves on his hands. Nightwing drew his escrima sticks and activated their electric charge. Supergirl flew forwards and fired her heat vision at the evil Superman clone, causing him to crash into a building. Bizarro rose from the crater and flew forward to crash into Supergirl. She was strong, but not as strong as Superman, not yet anyway, so Bizarro overpowered her, spun her around and threw her to the ground. Nightwing ran and jumped in the air. Kicking Bizarro in the face before spinning around and hitting him with the escrima sticks before landing back on the ground. That was when Kevin followed Nightwing's lead and jumped towards the villain, tackling him to the ground.
Gwen created twin pink energy tendrils and wrapped them around Sinestro. Kid Flash then ran up the tendrils and kicked the villain in the face. Batgirl finished up their turn by throwing two electric batarangs that landed in Sinestro's shoulders and shocked him. Sinestro had been building up energy since he was trapped in the tendrils and when the batarangs shocked him, he released it breaking free of the tendrils and destroy the batarangs. He was a little out of breath though and lowered to the ground. This was enough for Kid Flash as ran around the villain, punching him in the back, then the front, then back again and so on. That is until Sinestro created another pulse of energy that blasted the three heroes into nearby buildings.
Red Robin threw several explosive batarangs at the king of Khandaq, which barely did anything to him. Black Adam then fired a blast of electricity, which the young hero deftly avoided. Ben for the most part had hung back a bit, trying to see what Red Robin was capable of, he didn't expect the kid to defeat the villain on his own, but he knew that he could, if the kid got hurt and couldn't fight. Of course, not wanting that to happen though, he decided to step in.
"Buzzshock!" Ben then shot off towards Black Adam. Black Adam saw Ben flying towards him and shot a blast of electrical energy at him. Unfortunately, Ben absorbed the energy and duplicated himself as more electrical energy hit him. By the time Black Adam's attack ended there were 20 Buzzshocks surrounding Black Adam, all with a boost in power from Black Adam's attack. Before the fight could go on though, a voice came through the new Young Justice communicators.
"Batman to Young Justice. The Cadmus building in Washington D.C. just went up in flames. I've had my suspicions about them for awhile now and I believe this would pose as the perfect opportunity to investigate. The League would handle it ourselves but we're a bit busy trying to save the Sun. Coordinates have been uploaded to the teleporter in the cave." Said the Caped Crusader.
"We're on it." Replied Ben, stopping the simulation battle. "Alright team you heard the Bat. Let's go."
"Are you sure sending them on their first mission without backup is a good idea?" Asked Superman, worried about his cousin.
"Red Tornado is at the cave just incase they call for back up." Reassured Wonder Woman.
"Besides, we can't risk losing this opportunity." Answered Batman, "If we don't hear back from them by the time we're done we can go check up on them."
"I disabled the door." Said Red Robin after hacking the door to keep it from opening. "We're safe."
"We're trapped." Clarified Kevin.
"Uh, guys." Said Kid Flash.
"You'll want to see this." Said Nightwing, who was standing next to Kid Flash. He then pressed a button on the large computer system they were standing in front of. The button turned on the lights in the room and inside a pod that was in the center of the room.
"Whoa!" Said Red Robin. Inside the pod was a boy with black hair and pale skin. He was wearing a white suit that had the Kryptonian "S". The letters Kr were written on the pod holding the teen.
"Big "K" little "r", the atomic symbol for Krypton." Said Gwen.
"Clone?" Asked Batgirl.
"Red Robin, hack." Said Ben.
"Right." Replied the bird themed hero, "Weapon designation Superboy, a clone force-grown in 16 weeks, from DNA acquired from Superman!"
"Stolen from Superman." Accuses Supergirl. "No way the big guy knows about this."
"Solar Suit allows him to absorb yellow-sun radiation 24/7." Red Robin continued to read.
"And these creatures?" Questioned Supergirl.
"Genomorph Gnomes, telepathic, force-feeding him an education." Replied Red Robin.
"And we can guess what else." Said Kid Flash.
"They're making a slave out of, well, Superman's son." Said Batgirl.
"Now we call the League." Said Ben.
"No signal." Said Red Robin, as he and everyone else tries to call the League from their respective communicator.
"We're in too deep. Literally." Said Kevin, with a slight laugh. Then the horns of all three Genomorphs inside Superboy's pod begin to hiss lightly as their horns glow red.
"This is wrong." Said Kid Flash.
"We can't leave him like this." Said Nightwing.
"Set him free." Said Ben.
"Do it." Said Supergirl. Seconds later the pod opens. For a moment nothing happens, but then Superboy's hand clenches. Then Superboy's eyelids opened revealing bright blue eyes. Before anyone can even dare to speak, Superboy launches himself at Supergirl. He tackled her to the ground, the speed of which left the others in shock. Ben was the first to recover, just as Supergirl kicked Superboy off of her. He reached towards the Omnitrix.
"Diamondhead!" Shouted the now alien teen.
"I can't reach anyone." Said Batman, once the Justice League saved the Sun, and after trying to get in touch with Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Supergirl, Nightwing, Kid Flash, Red Robin, and Batgirl, and not getting an answer.
"Are they still investigating Cadmus?" Asked Superman.
"They must be." Said Wonder Woman, "Red Tornado just said they never came back to Mt. Justice."
"Then I guess we better head to Cadmus and see what's going on." Said Flash.
Gwen enlarges the energy dome she created to protect everyone from the debris that was caused by the ceiling collapsing in on itself after having a number of supporting pillars knocked down from the fight.
"We did it." Said Batgirl.
"Was there ever any doubt?" Asked Nightwing.
"See?" Said Kid Flash, drawing Superboy's attention, "The Moon."
"Oh." Said Kid Flash when he saw the Justice League begin to appear, "And Superman. Do we keep our promises, or what?"
"Is that what I think it is?" Asked Batman, seeing the younger looking version of Superman.
"He doesn't like being called an "it"." Said Kid Flash.
"I'm Superman's clone." Said Superboy speaking up.
"Start talking." Said Batman, glaring.
The next day, Young Justice had all gathered in Mt. Justice. They were waiting for Batman. He said he had news. The cave teleporter then activated revealing Batman, the Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, a black teenager wearing a red shirt, black pants, and tattoos on his arms, and someone else who looked like a young female Martian.
"This is the Martian Manhunter's niece. Miss Martian." Said Batman. "And this, is Aqualad. Aquaman's protege."
"Hi." Said Miss Martian, waving to the team.
"Hello." Said Aqualad, also waving to the team.
"Welcome to the team." Said Ben.
"I'm honored to be included." Replied Miss Martian.
"As am I." Added Aqualad.
Meanwhile, below an underconstruction Cadmus, Guardian is speaking to Dubbilex and a scientist. The entire conversation is being watched by a group known as the light.
"Can the light afford to leave Guardian in charge without the G-gnomes?" Asks one of the figures on a screen.
"We have subtle means of control. What concerns me are the three older teens." Said another voice.
"Yes, but I believe that can be played to our advantage." Said a third mysterious voice.
"Even the temporary loss of the weapon may prove useful. Eventually, everyone sees the Light." Said a fourth voice.

"So, Speedy, you in?" Asked Nightwing.
"Pass." Answered Speedy. "I'm done letting Arrow and the League tell me what to do. I don't need a baby sitter or a clubhouse to hang out with the other kids. Your Junior Justice League is a joke, something to keep you busy and in your place. I don't want any part of it."
"Well, that was a bust." Said Kid Flash, as he and Nightwing watched Speedy disappear.
"Recognized: Nightwing, b01; Kid Flash, b03." Spoke the mechanical voice of The Cave.
"How did it go?" Asked Aqualad when he saw the two young heroes materialize.
"Not great." Replied Nightwing. "Hey, where are the others?" He asked when he noticed the only other people in The Cave was Miss Martian and Superboy.
"While you and KF were out, the others left as well." Answered Aqualad.
"Supergirl is in Metropolis with Superman." Added Superboy, "And Batgirl and Red Robin are in Gotham with Batman."
"And Ben, Gwen, and Kevin are in Star City, apparently that's where they live." Included Miss Martian.
"I smell smoke." Said Superboy.
"My cookies!" Shouted Miss Martian, flying towards the kitchen with the rest of the team behind her. "I was trying out Granny Jones' recipe from episode 17 of... Heh. Never mind."
"I bet they'd have tasted great." Assured Aqualad.
"He doesn't seem to mind." Said Nightwing.
"I have a serious metabolism." Defended Kid Flash.
"I'll make more?" Questioned Miss Martian.
"It was sweet of you to make any." Answered Aqualad.
"Thanks, Aqualad." Said Miss Martian.
"We're off duty." Said Aqualad, "Call me Kaldur'ahm. Actually, my friends call me Kaldur."
"I'm Wally." Said KF, "See? I already trust you with my secret I.D., Unlike Mr. Dark Glasses over here. Batman's forbidden Boy Wonder from telling anyone his real name."
"Mine's no secret." Said Miss Martian, "It's M'gann M'orzz. But, you can call me Megan. It's an Earth name, and I'm on Earth now."
'Don't worry, Superboy.' Said Megan, telepathically, 'We'll find you an Earth name, too.'
"Get out of my head!" Shouted Superboy.
'What's wrong?' Asked Megan, 'I don't understand. Everyone on Mars communicates telepathically.'
"Megan, stop." Said Kaldur.
"Things are different on Earth." Said Nightwing.
"Here, your powers are an extreme invasion of privacy." Continued Kaldur.
"Besides, Cadmus' creepy little psychic genomes left a bad taste in his brain." Added Wally.
"I didn't mean to..." Said Megan.
"Just stay out." Said Superboy.
"Hello, Megan. I know what we can do." Said Megan, trying to move on. "Superboy, please."
"Don't talk to me." Replied Superboy, still steaming, but following anyway.
"It's my martian bioship." Said Megan, when she and the team arrived at the hanger.
"Cute." Commented Wally. "Not aerodynamic, but cute."
"It's at rest, silly." Replied Megan. "I'll wake it." The Bioship shifted before revealing a ramp allowing the young heroes to board. "Well, are you coming" She asked the other young heroes, snapping them out of their shock. "Strap in for launch." She said once everyone was seated. "Red Tornado, please open the bay doors." The doors opened and the ship flew out of the mountain base.
"Incredible." Said Nightwing.
"She sure is." Said Wally. "I mean the ship, Which, like all ships, is a she."
"Fast with his feet, not so much with his mouth." Retorted Nightwing.
"I may not have psychic powers," Said Kaldur to Superboy, "But I can guess what you're thinking. You overreacted, and you don't know how to apologize. Just say sorry."
"He'll come around." Said Nightwing to Megan.
"He doesn't seem to like me much." She replied.
"You guys remember he has super hearing, right?" Asked Wally.
"Hey, how 'bout showing us a little martian shape-shifting?" Asked Nightwing, once again changing the subject.
"Is it wrong that I think I'm hot?" Asked Wally, when he saw Megan change to a female version of him.
"Impressive," Replied Nightwing, "But you know you're not exactly gonna fool anyone with those."
"Mimicking boys is a lot harder." Responded Megan.
"And your clothes?" Asked Kaldur.
"They're organic," Answered Megan, "like the ship. They respond to my mental commands."
"As long as they're the only ones." Said Superboy.
"Can you do that ghosting through walls thing that manhunter does?" Asked Wally.
"Density shifting? No. It's a very advanced technique." Replied Megan.
"Flash can vibrate his molecules right through a wall." Said Nightwing. "When he tries it, bloody nose."
"Dude!" Retorted Wally.
"Here's something I can do." Said Megan, "Camouflage mode."
"Red Tornado to Miss Martian." Red Tornado's voice suddenly cut through the comm link. "An emergency alert has been triggered at the Happy Harbor power plant. I suggest you investigate covertly. I'm sending coordinates."
"Received." Replied Megan. "Adjusting course."
"Tornado's keeping us busy again." Retorted Superboy.
"Well, a simple fire led the team to you." Reasoned Megan.
"We should find out what caused the alert." Kaldur interrupted.
"I think I know the cause." Said Nightwing, seeing a tornado rush past the ship, forcing Megan to land the ship.
"The team really needs your help." Said Megan to Red Tornado, after having been told to 'Hit the showers'.
"If I intervened, it would not be to help." Replied Red Tornado. "Still, it is an odd coincidence that this Twister shares my elemental abilities and my immunity to telepathy."
"Hello, Megan." Said Megan, suddenly realizing something.
"Now, Brom," Started an unknown figure, after seeing this team of young heroes destroy his android, "aren't you relieved I didn't let you wear the armor?"
"Extremely, professor," Replied the man now known as Brom, "but you're not upset?"
"I'm convinced our tracking program was operational," Responded the supposed professor, "and that the real Tornado was somewhere in the vicinity. Besides, you know science advances in fits and starts. Even failure can be instructive, and I'd say we learned quite a lot today."
"It was clearly created to sabotage or destroy you." Said Nightwing, back at The Cave.
"Agreed." Said Red Tornado.
"Is that why you wouldn't help us?" Asked Megan.
"No." Answered Tornado. "This was your battle. I do not believe it is my role to solve your problems for you. Nor should you solve mine for me."
"But if you're in danger..." Started Megan.
"Consider this matter closed." Tornado interrupted.
"Batman, Aquaman, and Flash," Said Nightwing, "They'd have jumped right in to fix things."
"Guess if we're gonna have a baby sitter," Said Wally. "A heartless machine is exactly what we need."
"Dude!" Said Nightwing, "Harsh."
"And inaccurate." Replied Tornado, "I have a heart, Carbon-steel alloy. I also have excellent hearing."
"Right." Said Wally, "Sorry. I'll strive to be more accurate."
"And more respectful." Added Kaldur.
"Speedy was so wrong." Said Wally, "This team thing, might just work out."
"Sorry." Said Superboy, when he and Megan were alone.

"Listen up everyone," Started Omni-X, "We're going to be splitting up into two groups."
"The first group," Continued Lucky Girl, "is going to continue tracking down clues about the villains that ambushed the Justice League recently."
"And the Second," Added 11, "is going on our first official mission."
"I thought Batman was going to be giving us our missions?" Asked Miss Martian.
"He briefed us on the mission earlier." Answered 11.
"So what is our mission?" Asked Kid Flash.
"According to Batman," replied Lucky Girl, "There's an island called Santa Prisca. It's the primary source of a dangerous and illegal neosteroid, a strength enhancing drug called Venom. Infrared heat signatures show that the factory is still operating at full capacity, but all shipments have been inexplicably cut off. That's where we come in."
"Batman," Continued 11, "made it very clear. This is a covert recon mission only. Observe and report. The Justice League will intervene if they must."
"So what are the two teams?" Asked Kid Flash.
"Team One," Answered Omni-X, "will be Lucky Girl, 11, Batgirl, Red Robin, and Supergirl. Team Two will be Nightwing, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, and myself."
"Let's split up so each team can discuss their plan." Suggested Nightwing.
"We're approaching Santa Prisca." Said Miss Martian, from the pilot seat of the bioship. "Drop zone "A" in 30."
"Ready." Replied Aqualad. At the same time there was a flash of light as Omni-X transformed into Ripjaws. The two heroes then dove out of a newly formed hole that opened in the floor of the ship.
"Putting bioship in camouflage mode." Continued Miss Martian.
"Heat and motion sensors are patched." Said Ripjaws over the comm-link. "Data is now on a continuous loop. Move in."
"So much for the stealthy." Joked Omni-X, in human form, after the team had defeated to two groups of assailants.
"What is wrong with you guys?" Questioned Nightwing, "Remember covert? Why didn't you follow my lead, vanish into the jungle?"
"That's what you were doing?" Retaliated Kid Flash, "Way to fill us in. We're not mind readers, you know. Well, I'm not anyway."
"You told me I could only read the bad guys' minds." Countered Miss Martian.
"I recognize those uniforms." Said Superboy, changing the subject.
"They belong to the cult of the Kobra." Nightwing informed.
"I am certain Batman would have mentioned it if he knew a dangerous extremist was running Santa Prisca's Venom operation." Added Aqualad.
"Agreed." Said Omni-X.
"And since there's clearly no love lost between the cultists and those goons," Started Miss Martian, "I'm betting Kobra came in and tossed them out."
"That's why normal supply lines have been cut off." Said Superboy.
"We get it." Said Kid Flash, "Kobra wanted super cultists. Mystery solved. Radio Bats, and we'll be home in time..."
"These cultists aren't on Venom." Interrupted Nightwing. "Kobra's hoarding the stuff. We don't leave, not until we know why."
"Such clever niños," Said Bane, finally deciding to make his move, "but you only know half the story. Let me show you the rest. Get you into the factory via my secret entrance."
"There is a secret entrance," Confirmed Miss Martian, trying to read his mind, "but he's also hiding something."
"Ah, ah, ah, chica. Bane is not that easy." Said the villain, teasing the heroine.
"He's mentally reciting fútbol scores en espanol." Continued Miss Martian, "This could take a while."
"It's not complicated." Answered Bane, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
"All clear." Said Omni-X, once the heroes managed to sneak inside the warehouse and didn't see any armed henchmen nearby.
"Has that little fool already been caught?" Asked Bane, noticing Nightwing had vanished.
"No, he just does that." Answered Aqualad.
"Stay put." Said Kid Flash, "I'll get our intel and be back before the boy wonder."
"Wait, Kid!" Whisper shouted Omni-X.
"Great chain of command." Commented Bane.
"It's a massive shipment." Said Superboy, seeing the henchmen move all the crates full of Venom.
"Yeah, but they're only taking new product off the line." Noted Miss Martian. "They're not touching this Venom."
"Maybe freshness counts?" Omni-X guessed.
"Helicopters coming." Said Superboy.
"Whatcha got?" Asked Kid Flash, finding Nightwing in a room full of computers.
"Chemical formulas." Answered Nightwing. "I'm guessing it involves Venom, but..."
"This one's Venom, and that one's..." Said Kid Flash, looking at the computers over Nightwing's shoulder, "whoa. The blockbuster formula from Cadmus."
"Mixed correctly, Kobra's new juice is stronger than Venom and permanent. But how did Kobra get access to project blockbuster?"
"Our mystery buyer must also be Kobra's supplier! Using the cult to create a blockbuster Venom super formula."
"Nightwing to Aqualad, we got... Static."
'Aqualad,' Said Miss Martian, floating nearly invisible over the two villains, "sending you a telepathic image of the buyer now."
'Sportsmaster. He is the buyer?' Replied Aqualad, recognizing the criminal. "Aqualad to Red Tornado. Do you read? It's no good, I can't reach the League, Nightwing, or Kid. Comm's jammed."
"We need a plan." Said Omni-X.

"What is he..." Questioned Superboy, as Bane jumped over the railing of the catwalk they had been hiding on. Resulting in the henchmen stopping what they were doing and start attacking the trespassers.
'Miss Martian, radio is jammed! Link us up!' Said Aquald.
'Everyone online?' Asked Miss Martian. Who then received multiple confirmations, as well as one, "You know it, beautiful." From Kid Flash.
"Take the shipment!" Kobra ordered Sportsmaster once they heard the shooting from the inside of the factory. Sportsmaster had already started running towards the helicopter though.

"And then as Heatblast I shot some flames to shoot down the helicopter. By the time Aqualad was able to get to the drowned helicopter though, Sportsmaster was gone. Although it did seem as though most, if not all of the Venom on the helicopter was destroyed." Said Omni-X as he finished telling Batman how the mission went.
"A simple recon mission," Started Batman, "observe and report. You'll each receive a written evaluation detailing your mistakes. Until then, Good job. No battle plan survives first contact with the enemy. How you adjust to the unforeseen is what determines success."
"All I recovered is a single ampoule of Kobra Venom." Said Sportsmaster, surrounded by screens with shadowed figures on them.
"Peut-etre the drug can be reverse engineered." Said one of the voices. "Mais, what of those young heroes?"
"First, Cadmus, then Mister Twister. Now, Santa Prisca." Said a second voice.
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. But 3 times is enemy action, and enemies of the light must not stand." Said a third voice.
Before Batman had a chance to leave The Cave, One of the giant holographic computer screens turned on revealing the costumed face of Lucky Girl.
"Lucky Girl to Cave." Said the heroine, all the while explosions and yells could be heard in the background. "We have a slight problem."
"Go for Batman." Said the Caped Crusader as the teen heroes joined him around the screen.
"We were on our way to Arkham Asylum to see if Poison Ivy knew anything on Harley Quinn's whereabouts, when several explosions went off throughout the building. We're doing our best to round up as many inmates as we can, but we could use some help." Explained Lucky Girl. Before Batman could respond however, another screen activated.
"Cyborg to Cave, is Batman still there?" Asked the cybernetic hero.
"Go for Batman. Is this about Arkham?" Replied the Dark Knight.
"Not just Arkham. Several prisons across North America are facing major break outs, including Belle Reve, Blackgate, and Iron Heights." Explained Cyborg.

"We failed." Said Metallo.
"The others failed." Added Captain Cold, "They were supposed to leave the League shattered for us to move in and defeat them once and for all."
"Those goody two shoes ruined all the fun!" Exclaimed an upset Joker.
"Don't worry 'bout it Mistah J, we'll get the big bad Bat next time." Said Harley Quinn, trying to calm him down.
"Superman showed up with Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern." Said Heatwave, trying to get back on track.
"Flash, Cyborg, and the Martian Manhunter showed up before we could completely incapacitate the others." Added Atrocitus.
"And now that we've revealed most of our hand, they'll be expecting another attack." Said Livewire before sighing.
"I must report back to our benefactors." Said Ultra-Humanite, "You are dismissed for now."

"Listen up everyone," Started Omni-X, "We're going to be splitting up into two groups."
"The first group," Continued Lucky Girl, "is going to continue tracking down clues about the villains that ambushed the Justice League recently."
"And the Second," Added 11, "is going on our first official mission."
"I thought Batman was going to be giving us our missions?" Asked Miss Martian.
"He briefed us on the mission earlier." Answered 11.
"So what is our mission?" Asked Kid Flash.
"According to Batman," replied Lucky Girl, "There's an island called Santa Prisca. It's the primary source of a dangerous and illegal neo-steroid, a strength enhancing drug called Venom. Infrared heat signatures show that the factory is still operating at full capacity, but all shipments have been inexplicably cut off. That's where we come in."
"Batman," Continued 11, "made it very clear. This is a covert recon mission only. Observe and report. The Justice League will intervene if they must."
"So what are the two teams?" Asked Kid Flash.
"Team One," Answered Omni-X, "will be Lucky Girl, 11, Batgirl, Red Robin, and Supergirl. Team Two will be Nightwing, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, and myself."
"Let's split up so each team can discuss their plan." Suggested Nightwing.
"Ok," Said Lucky Girl once her team was all together off to the side, "let's review. What do we know so far about the recent attack on the Justice League?"
"Metallo, Amazo, Captain Cold, Joker, and Atrocitus tried to ambush Superman in Metropolis." Replied Batgirl.
"That was weeks ago and they haven't tried anything since then." Added Red Robin.
"Batman said he thought Harley Quinn was probably also on the team." Said Supergirl.
"He also said to look into Professor Ivo and T.O. Morrow." Added 11.
"No one's been able to find either of them so that option's out for now." Countered Red Robin.
"So that basically just leaves the Harley Quinn angle?" Questioned Supergirl.
"We haven't been able to locate her either." Said Batgirl.
"Harley Quinn is not one for subtlety, so that's just another reason to believe she is working with the villains." Said 11.
"The only one who might know her whereabouts is Poison Ivy, but she's in Arkham." Said Red Robin.
"What about Captain Cold?" Asked Lucky Girl, "Don't Flash's rogues usually keep in touch with each other?"
"Most of Flash's rogues that would know anything about Captain Cold are in prison." Started Batgirl.
"The only exception would be heatwave, but he hasn't been seen at any of the usual spots." Added Red Robin.
"So our only options are all villains that are in prison?" Asked 11.
"It wouldn't surprise me if the villains were still keeping in touch." Said Supergirl.
"We should start with Flash's rogues. They tend to be more loose lipped." Said Batgirl.
"Well I guess that wasn't a complete waste." Said 11.
"We managed to figure out that Heatwave is with Captain Cold." Said Supergirl.
"We also know that something big is going to happen tomorrow." Said Batgirl.
"It's getting late. We should report back to Batman. The others are probably already back at Mt. Justice." Said Lucky Girl.
"Not yet." Said Red Robin, "We should still question Poison Ivy."

"I know exactly where Harley Quinn is." Said Poison Ivy. "She's in this very building." Before the young heroes could react there was a loud explosion.
"Contacting all Leaguers." Batman said in his communicator, broadcasting to every member or ally of the Justice League, "Belle Reve, Blackgate, Iron Heights, and Arkham Asylum are facing mass prison breakouts. Report to the nearest prison. Cyborg and Mr. Terrific will coordinate with everyone from there."
"What about us?" Asked Kid Flash.
"Kid Flash and Omni-X go to Iron Heights, Superboy and Miss Martian go to Belle Reve, Aqualad goes to Blackgate, Nightwing comes with me to Arkham Asylum."
"Right." Said Nightwing, "Let's go."
"Omni-X, do you have any transformations that could set up a perimeter and make sure no villains can get away?" Asked Flash taking charge of the team of heroes at Iron Heights.
"I think I've got someone that can do the trick." Answered Omni-X, running in the opposite direction of the prison.
"Black Lightning, can you try to bottleneck the entrance?" Questioned Flash.
"I'll do what I can." Replied Black Lightning.
"Good. Kid Flash, you're with me. We've got to get the prison workers out of danger." Directed Flash. "Everyone else try to take down as many criminals as you can."
"Flash, Guardian, can you get the the prison workers out of harm's way?" Asked Superman leading the Blackgate team of heroes.
"We're on it." Answered Flash, running of into the prison.
"Everyone set up a perimeter around the prison. Don't let any criminals get past you." Directed Superman.
"Miss Martian and I will get the prison workers out of here." Said Martian Manhunter instructing the team of heroes at Belle Reve. "Red Tornado, can you create a perimeter around the prison?"
"Affirmative." Answered Red Tornado.
"Everyone else take out as many criminals as you can." Directed Martian Manhunter.
"Lucky Girl, can you create a dome over Arkham?" Asked Batman leading the Arkham Asylum team of heroes.
"I'm on it." Answered Lucky Girl.
"Nightwing, Batgirl, you're with me. We need to evacuate the Arkham employees."
"Right." Said Batgirl.
"Everyone else take out as many inmates as you can, and be careful." Directed Batman.
Flash and Kid Flash had successfully evacuated the prison staff members and joined in on the fight against the criminals. Omni-X had transformed in to Bloxx and created a circular wall surrounding Iron Heights and would knock out and criminals that got too close. Black Lightning was shooting lightning towards the entrance of the prison, greatly hindering the rate at which criminals could escape while also taking a few out of the fight. Just as it was beginning to look like the heroes would be able to end the fight quickly, several explosions were heard creating new exits for the convicts to escape through. Weather Wizard shot a blast of lightning destroying one section of wall, Abra Kadabra used his and to make another section of wall disappear, Silver Banshee unleashed a powerful scream blasting away another section of wall, and Gorilla Grodd broke through another section of wall after having Icicle and Icicle Jr. freeze it. At the same time Reverse Flash ran past Flash delivering a powerful left hook before coming to a stop in front the Scarlet Speedster, now on the ground.
Flash and Guardian have successfully rescued the prison employees and joined the other heroes who have formed a perimeter around the prison. Suddenly there were several explosions and from the smoke revealed Sinestro, Star Sapphire, Black Adam, Bizarro, Giganta, And Atomic Skull, each leading a small group of other prisoners.
Miss Martian and Martian Manhunter were saving the last prison employee when Red Tornado fell from the sky dissipating the tornado that he created to prevent the convicts from escaping. Miss Martian, after having saved Red Tornado from falling to the ground looked around to see who attacked the android, only to spot Killer Croc, Lex Luthor (in his power suit), Doctor Light, Black Manta, Blockbuster, Ocean Master, King Shark, and Despero blast through sections of the prison.
Batman, Nightwing, and Batgirl just finished evacuating the asylum staff members when Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat, Poison Ivy, Bane, Solomon Grundy, and Toyman made their presence known by blowing up sections of the asylum.
Chaos reigned upon the prisons. At Iron Heights, Mirror Master, Top, Trickster, Weather Wizard, Reverse Flash, Rag Doll, Shade, Icicle, Gorilla Grodd, Goldface, Captain Boomerang, Abra Kadabra, Icicle Jr., Gentleman Ghost, and Silver Banshee were fighting against Kid Flash, Omni-X, Flash, Cyborg, Atom, Fire, Ice, Vixen, Black Lightning, Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Zatara, and Blue Devil.
At Blackgate Cheetah, Sinestro, Star Sapphire, Black Adam, Bizarro, Parasite, Giganta, the Royal Flush Gang, KGBeast, Doctor Psycho, Atomic Skull, Polka-Dot Man, Blackguard, Clock King, and Bloodsport were fighting against Aqualad, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, Atom Smasher, Shazam, Green Lantern, Wildcat, Flash, Guardian, S.T.R.I.P.E., Starman, and Doctor Fate.
At Belle Reve Deadshot, Killer Croc, Lex Luthor, Shadow Thief, Doctor Light, Black Manta, Blockbuster, Killer Frost, Ocean Master, Bronze Tiger, King Shark, Deathstroke, Doctor Polaris, Despero, and Copperhead were fighting against Superboy, Miss Martian, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Aquaman, Captain Atom, Steel, Red Tornado, Red Arrow, Animal man, Booster Gold, and Blue Beetle.
At Arkham Asylum Two Face, Scarecrow, Victor Zsasz, Clayface, Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze, Professor Pyg, Riddler, Man-Bat, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Catwoman, Bane, Solomon Grundy, and Toyman were fighting against Nightwing, Batman, Batgirl, Lucky Girl, 11, Red Robin, Robin, Supergirl, Firestorm, Question, Huntress, Hawk, and Dove.
An hour later and it seems like the heroes were finally getting the upper hand when reinforcements arrived. Captain Cold and Heatwave at Iron Heights, Metallo and Livewire at Blackgate, Atrocitus and Amazo and Belle Reve, Joker and Harley Quinn at Arkham Asylum. Thankfully the heroes got their own reinforcements. Zatanna at Iron Heights, The Wonder Twins at Blackgate, Icon and Rocket at Belle Reve, and Raven at Arkham Asylum.
30 minutes later and the heroes had just about defeated all of the villains with the exception of Mirror Master, Polka-Dot Man, and Shadow Thief. Mirror Master used mirrors that he had thrown throughout the fight to escape, taking as many villains as he could with him. Polka-Dot Man used dots that he threw around the battle field to do the same thing as Mirror Master. Shadow Thief used his ability to turn in to a shadow and grabbed as many villains as he could, creating shadow portals under them to teleport them, before doing the same for himself. Ultra-Humanite, having tapped in to the Justice League's zeta beam technology teleported the unconscious villains from Arkham Asylum. Now all the villains have regrouped at the newest incarnation of the Hall of Doom.
Back at the Watchtower the founding members of the league were discussing the results of the prison breakouts.
"We've only managed to recapture about half of the convicts." Said Superman.
"Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Reverse Flash, Rag Doll, Shade, Gorilla Grodd, Captain Boomerang, Abra Kadabra, Gentleman Ghost, Silver Banshee, Cheetah, Sinestro, Star Sapphire, Black Adam, Bizarro, Parasite, Giganta, the Royal Flush Gang, Polka-Dot Man, Doctor Psycho, Atomic Skull, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Lex Luthor, Shadow Thief, Doctor Light, Black Manta, Blockbuster, Ocean Master, Bronze Tiger, King Shark, Deathstroke, Doctor Polaris, Despero, Copperhead, Scarecrow, Clayface, Man-Bat, Poison Ivy, Bane, Solomon Grundy, and Toyman are all still at large." Said Batman.
"And they are all probably working with Captain Cold, Heatwave, Metallo, Livewire, Atrocitus, Amazo, Joker, and Harley Quinn." Said Flash.
"I detected Zeta-Beam radiation at Arkham Asylum, but I haven't been able to locate where they were teleported." Said Cyborg.
"We also haven't been able to figure out exactly how they managed to pull off four simultaneous breakouts." Said Wonder Woman.
"Arkham was probably the easiest, but Blackgate and Belle Reve would've required a lot more planning." Said Martian Manhunter.
"They probably had help from one of the employees." Said Green Lantern.
"We'll let the police figure that out, for now we need to focus on recapturing the escaped villains." Said Batman.
"We need to be ready, they'll probably strike soon." Said Superman.
"There's also the matter of the heroes who helped us that are not part of the league." Said Wonder Woman.
"Zatanna, the Wonder Twins, Icon, Rocket, and Raven." Said Martian Manhunter.
"And let's not forget we lost one of our own today." Said Green Lantern.
"Starman." Said Flash.
"We're all tired," Said Cyborg, "We should take the night and reconvene in the morning."
"The bad guys are probably licking their wounds too," Said Flash, "So we've probably got a little while before they try anything."

"I had that." Said Superboy. Who had been holding a bus from falling over a bridge, only to have Superman fly under it and lift it safely back on the bridge.
"I didn't want to take the chance." Said Superman, "As it is, your landing could have destabilized the entire bridge."
"It didn't." Retorted Superboy.
"But it could have." Argued Superman, "We don't yet know the limits of your powers."
"But maybe you could, you know, help me figure that out?" Questioned Superboy.
"Batman's got that covered." Answered Superman.
"I know, but..." Started Superboy, before being interrupted by Superman's communicator going off.
"Superman." Answered the Kryptonian, "Wait, Arrow. Slow down. What's attacking? No, I'm definitely available. Coordinates? Acknowledged. On my way. Sorry, Superboy. Duty calls." He said as he began flying off, only to get another call on his communicator. "Already got the alert, Bruce."
"I know, Clark, but we need to talk." Said Bruce Wayne, having watched the scene on the bridge unfold.
"Hi, Superboy." Said Megan, after seeing he teleported in to Mt. Justice, "How was Metropolis?"
"Ready for training, everyone?" Asked Black Canary, after seeing Superboy ignore Megan.
"You're training us?" Asked Batgirl.
"Black Canary! Uncle J'onn!" Shouted Megan.
"M'gann," Began J'ohn, "I was in the neighborhood, So I thought I'd see how you were adjusting."
"A few bumps, but I'm learning." Replied Megan.
"That's all I can ask." Said J'ohn.
"Stick around." Said Black Canary, seeing Superboy walk away. "Class is in session. Since Omni-X, Lucky Girl, and 11 have been keeping watch over their friend, Batman thought it'd be best if I took over training until they return more full-time. I consider it an honor to be your teacher. I'll throw a lot at you. Everything I've learned from my own mentors, and my own bruises." She finished, wincing a little bit as she took her jacket off and it passed over her recently injured shoulder.
"What happened?" Asked Nightwing.
"The job." Answered Black Canary, "Now, combat is about controlling conflict, putting the battle on your terms. You should always be acting, never reacting. I'll need a sparring partner."
"Right here." Volunteered Kid Flash. "After this I'll show you my moves." Seconds later, he was laying on the ground on his back. "Hurts so good."
"Did anyone see what he did wrong?" Asked Black Canary.
"Oh! Oh!" Shouted Nightwing raising his hand, "He hit on teacher and got served?"
"He allowed me to dictate the terms of..." Replied Black Canary, after an annoyed "Dude!" from Kid Flash and before an "Oh, please." from Superboy interrupted her.
"With my powers, the battle's always on my terms." Continued Superboy. "I'm a living weapon, and this is a waste of my time."
"Prove it." Challenged Black Canary.
"Batman to the cave." Interrupted the Caped Crusader over the cave's intercom. "Mission debrief in 10 minutes." Once all the young heroes were gathered, including the arrival of Omni-X, Lucky Girl, and 11, Batman continued, now on a large holographic screen. "Five hours ago, a new menace attacked Green Arrow and Black Canary. All we know is that his name is Mantis. However, after Captain Atom and Firestorm defeated him, we found a strange piece of tech. It seems to be the same piece of tech that caused Victor Stone to become Cyborg. The first time we encountered this tech Star Labs was unable to get any real information about it before the accident. We're going to split you into two groups. The first will guard a truck carrying Mantis to his prison where we hope to get some answers from him, the second will guard a truck carrying the piece of tech. There'll also be a few other decoy trucks, we can't be sure someone won't try to intercept the trucks."
"Yes! Road trip." Said Kid Flash.
"So now we take out your trash?" Asked Superboy.
"You had something better to do?" Countered Batman.
"We're on our way." Said Aqualad.
"When you're ready, I'll be here." Said Black Canary to Superboy when they were alone.
"I told you, we need to talk." Said Batman, to Superman once the trucks, the Young Justice team, and the other leaguers left the area.
"I uh would love to, but uh, oh! Look at that, Jimmy just activated the watch I gave him." Replied Superman. "We'll have to reschedule." He added before flying off, breaking the sound barrier.
"If dislike is the opposite of like, Is disaster the opposite of aster? See, instead of things going wrong, they go right." Questioned Nightwing. Superboy just grunted and sped up. "Uh, clearly you're not feeling the aster."
"What's wrong?" Asked Omni-X.
"Canary." Answered Superboy. "And what business does she have teaching combat skills to a guy with super strength?"
"Taking down stronger guys is part of the gig." Responded 11.
"Canary learned that the hard way." Added Red Robin. "Same with Batman, Nightwing, and, well, me."
"Do you think Superboy's ok?" Asked Miss Martian, "I wasn't reading his mind, I swear, But anger flowed off him in waves."
"Heh. Surf that wave." Joked Kid Flash.
"Just give him space." Replied Aqualad.
"Me? Stick as close as you want." Added Kid Flash.
"Superboy just needs time to cool off." Continued Lucky Girl.
"A quiet mission will hopefully clear his head." Said Batgirl. Suddenly a loud boom sounded and a glowing orange portal appeared in front of the truck carrying Mantis, causing it to swerve and crash into a lamp post.
"Beta Team, our truck.." Said Aqualad over the team's communicator. As a large hairy figure in green armor stepped out of the portal.
"kind of figured." Replied Nightwing over the communicator, as their team's truck, which was carrying the alien tech, was also under attack. A truck sped in front of the one the heroes were guarding and a small army of robot monkeys spewed out from the rear of the truck, followed shortly by Harley Quinn and Metallo.
"We lost our cargo." Said Aqualad, "Did you..."
"It's gone." Responded Omni-X.
"And so is Superboy." Added Nightwing.
"Aqualad to Superboy." Said the Atlantean, "Radio your position. We'll help you."
"I don't need help, don't want any!" Replied Superboy before ditching his communicator.
"Superboy?" Asked Supergirl.
"I think he ditched his com." Said Red Robin.
"Super." Said KidFlash.
"In the end, both teams managed to lose the cargo we were suppose to protect." Said Omni-X, as he recapped the night to Batman.
"We understand your mission encountered complications." Said Batman, "Complications come with the job, and the complications you faced tonight would give even the League a hard time."
"The fact you even managed to survive has impressed the League. Your mentors trained you all well." Added Black Canary.
"The whole League?" Asked Superboy.
"Given time, yes." Answered Batman, "Kryptonians, as you know, have very hard heads."
"Of course, there's no shame in asking for help." Said Black Canary, "That's why the League exists, because there are some problems even we can't handle individually."
"Please." Interjected KidFlash, "If we needed help, we'd never get the chance to ask." He held up a green arrow.
"Look familiar?" Asked Red Robin, "You were following us! Babysitting! You still don't trust us."
"We didn't follow you." Replied Green Arrow, as he compared his and the arrow in question.
"And that's not your arrow," Said Nightwing, "but that means..."
"Speedy!" Finished KidFlash.
"He always did have our backs." Added Aqualad.
"Souvenir!" Said KidFlash, dashing away with the arrow. The others soon dispersed as well, leaving Superboy and Black Canary.
"I'm ready." Said Superboy.
"Good." Responded Black Canary, "Because I'm here."

"The wall-man is here!" Exclaimed Wally as he entered the cave. "Now let's get this party star..." He tripped, dropping all the beach supplies he was carrying, "...ted."
"Wall-man, huh?" Questioned a voice above him, "I love the uniform. What exactly are your powers?"
"Uh, who's this?" Asked Wally.
"Artemis," Answered Batman, "your new teammate."
"Kid Flash." Introduced the young speedster. "Never heard of you."
"Um, she's my new protégé." Said Green Arrow.
"What happened to your old one?" Questioned Kid Flash.
"Recognized: Speedy, B-06." Announced the Cave's computer system.
"Well, for starters," Answered the archer, "he doesn't go by Speedy anymore. Call me Red Arrow."
"Roy." Greeted Green Arrow. "You look..."
"Replaceable." Interrupted Red Arrow.
"It's not like that." Defended Green Arrow. "You told me you were going solo."
"So why waste time finding a sub?" Interrogated Red Arrow, "Can she even use that bow?"
"Yes," Answered Artemis, "she can."
"Who are you?" Asked Kid Flash.
"I'm/She's his niece." Green Arrow and Artemis answered at the same time.
"Another niece?" Questioned Nightwing, Red Robin, and Batgirl at the same time.
"But she is not your replacement." Reassured Aqualad. "We have always wanted you on the team, And we have no quota on archers."
"And if we did, you know who we'd pick." Added Kid Flash.
"Whatever, baywatch." Said Artemis. "I'm here to stay."
"You came to us for a reason." Interrupted Batman.
"Yeah, a reason named Dr. Serling Roquette." Informed Red Arrow.
"Nanorobotics genius and claytronics expert at Royal University in Star City." Said Red Robin, bringing Roquette's information on a large holo-screen. "Vanished 2 weeks ago."
"Abducted 2 weeks ago." Corrected Red Arrow, "By the League of Shadows."
"Whoa." Said Kid Flash, "You want us to rescue her from the Shadows? Hard-core."
"I already rescued her." Said Red Arrow. "Only one problem. The shadows had already Coerced her into creating a weapon. Doc calls it the Fog, comprised of millions of microscopic robots, nanotech infiltrators capable of disintegrating anything in their path. Concrete, steel, flesh, bone, you name it. But its true purpose isn't mere destruction. It's theft. The infiltrators eat and store raw data from any computer system and deliver the stolen intel to the Shadows providing them access to weapons, strategic defense, cutting-edge science and tech."
"Perfect for extortion, manipulation, power broking." Said Lucky Girl.
"Yeah." Said Artemis, "Sounds like the Shadows."
"Like you know anything about the Shadows." Said Kid Flash, to which Artemis only smirked. "Who are you?!"
"Roquette's working on a virus to render the Fog inert." Said Red Arrow.
"But if the shadows know she can do that..." Said Supergirl.
"They'll target her." Finished Omni-X.
"Right now, she's off the grid." Said Red Arrow. "I stashed her at the local high school's computer lab."
"You left her alone?" Asked Artemis.
"She's safe enough for now." Answered Red Arrow.
"Then let's you and I keep her that way." Said Green Arrow.
"You and I?" Questioned Red Arrow. "Don't you wanna take your new protégé?"
"You brought this to the team." Interrupted Batman. "It's their mission, which means it's hers now, too."
"Then my job's done." Said Red Arrow.
"Recognized: Speedy" Came the voice of the cave's computer system.
"That's Red Arrow, B-06. Update." Said the Archer.
"Miss Martian, link us up." Said Omni-X. "We do not want the shadows intercepting our com."
'Everyone online?' Asked Miss Martian.
'Ohh.' Thought Artemis, 'This is weird.'
'And distracting.' Said Dr. Roquette. 'Coding a distributive algorithm virus on a kiddie computer with less ram than a wristwatch is hard enough. Now I have to hear teen-think in my skull?'
'Lady, do you always complain when someone tries to help you?' Question Kid Flash.
'Pot, kettle.' Said Artemis, 'Have you met?'
'Hey, I do not need attitude from the newbie who drove Red Arrow off the team.' Argued Kid Flash.
'That is so not on me.' Replied Artemis.
'Fate of the world at stake.' Interrupted Dr. Roquette.
'She/He started it.' Kid Flash and Artemis replied at the same time.
'How 'bout I just help the others patrol the perimeter?' Volunteered Artemis.
'Good idea.' Said Kid Flash.
'You might cut her some slack.' Said Nightwing.
' Yeah,' Said Red Robin, 'It was her arrow that saved your butt.'
'What?' Questioned Kid Flash, 'No, that was Speedy's... I mean Red Arrow's Arrow, right?'
'Not so much.' Said Batgirl.
'Humph. Well, still not giving her the satisfaction.' Said Kid Flash.
'You know I can still hear you.' Said Artemis.
'ahh! I couldn't get the justice league.' Said Dr. Roquette.
'The virus won't be of much use if we cannot find the weapon.' Said Omni-X.
'Can you track it?' Asked Lucky Girl.
'My utility fog is not a weapon.' Argued Dr. Roquette, 'It's science, brilliant science, And of course I can track it, but I'd have to go online. Might as well rent a billboard with this address and "assassinate me" written in neon.'
'We will protect you.' Assured Aqualad.
'Tracking the fog now.' Said Dr. Roquette.
'Mmm. That boy.' Said Artemis, looking at Superboy as he walked by.
'He can hear you.' Said Miss Martian. 'We can all hear you.'
'Oh, I know.' Said Artemis.
'Miss Martian, Dr. Roquette has located the fog.' Said Aqualad, 'Reconfigure the bioship so that Red Robin, Superboy, and 11 can pursue. Lucky Girl and Batgirl will join you and Artemis outside.'
'Ready.' Said Miss Martian, after waving for the Bioship.
'You embarrassed Superboy.' Said Miss Martian, after the boys left.
'Didn't hear him say that.' Said Artemis.
'Must you challenge everyone?' Questioned Miss Martian.
'Where I come from, that's how you survive.' Defended Artemis.
"Dr. Roquette is safe, Thanks in no small part to you, Artemis." Aqualad said. The team were all gathered in The Cave and had already debriefed Batman on the mission.
"Welcome to the team." Said Nightwing.
"I've always wanted a sister." Said Miss Martian. "Here on Earth, I mean. I have 12 back on Mars, but trust me, it's not the same."
"I wouldn't know." Replied Artemis awkwardly. "But thanks."
"Ow." Said Kid Flash, after 11 elbowed him and gave him a look. "Yeah. Welcome."

Guys, its been over 3 years, since I last updated the story on here. I am so sorry for the wait. I've uploading the story to Wattpad and Ao3. Depending on the site you read this story the chapter lengths vary, meaning the update time between new chapter will vary too. Wattpad has 2,500 word chapters, Ao3 has 5,000 word chapters, and Fanfic has 10,000 word chapters. I try to upload a new chapter on wattpad once a week or so, but sometimes life gets in the way. I am also posting a couple new stories, so check my profile for those if you're interested. I will still continue working on this story. I'd also like to remind everyone that the more you like, follow, subscribe, comment, etc. the more motivation I have to write. Feel free to message me as well. I'm thinking I'll upload a chapter soon just to respond to everyones comments as well.
