Hello, thank you for visiting my profile! I am a medical student at Cambridge University which is a lot of hard work, but I love writing whenever I get the chance! I found Fanfiction over ten years ago and since then I have had so much enjoyment reading and writing stories on here. I love the escape brought by reading fanfiction and the release of letting my imagination flow in words, I could never be without it now!

I read and write Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter stories, and the genres I like are romance, adventure, mystery, angst, all with some humour (because you have to laugh!). I have had an unconditional, insatiable love for LOTR ever since I first read the books when I was nine. Incidentally, I have blue eyes and long dark brown hair, it's funny how some people say I look like Arwen but there you go! My favourite characters in LOTR are Aragorn, Arwen and Legolas, while my favourites in HP are Severus, Lily, James, Sirius, Harry & Ginny, and Ron & Hermione.

I am currently working on 'The Great Mistake of Severus Snape' which has been SO much fun to write so far! Please do have a read! I TRULY appreciate all of your reviews and it honestly feels so amazing to receive positive feedback from readers! I always review the stories I read on here because I know how much reviews mean to the author and I love brightening people's days too.

My favourite LOTR fanfictions, which I would WHOLLY recommend, are A Light In May, Black and White, and Mortal Thoughts. THEY ARE FABULOUS! It is so difficult to pick my favourite Harry Potter stories, but I have to say that Lily and the Halfblood Prince, Summer Shade, You’ve Forgotten Who I Am, and To Make It All Okay are all bloody brilliant and I wish SO MUCH that I could write like their authors! They are scarily talented people!

Aside from writing I enjoy sailing, sketching (that's my wolf in the picture above!), playing the flute, going for walks with my dog in the countryside and getting inspiration...

I listen to most music but especially soundtracks, Poets of the Fall and Death Cab For Cutie. If you know Poets of the Fall you might recognise some themes from their songs in 'The Great Mistake of Severus Snape'. My favourite films are Lord of the Rings (surprise, I know), Love Actually, Phantom of the Opera, The Holiday and the original Pride & Prejudice. I get emotionally engaged in films really easily and often cry when watching them! On TV I like to watch Downton Abbey, Call The Midwife, Coupling, Monroe, 'Allo 'Allo, Poirot, Live At The Apollo and Mock the Week. Actors and actresses I like are Orlando Bloom, Jonny Depp, Alan Rickman, Kiera Knightly and Kate Winslet, but I choose films more according to the storyline rather than who is in them. I like heart-warming storylines with depth and a development of relationships, and I hate films that are horror, sci-fi or revolve solely around fighting. I've always loved reading and I started reading when I was very young. My all-time favourites are no big surprise - Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and the Naitabal series by David Schutte.

I love writing and I can't imagine a time when I won't write. To be frank, I get depressed when I can't write - I need to write as much as I love to. My personal ambition is to one day have a story published. I've thoroughly enjoyed writing my favourite works 'The Light of Arwen's Love' and 'The Great Mistake of Severus Snape', and I sincerely hope you also enjoy reading my stories and recommendations!
