About Me:

So yeah, I'm Azza1608 and as most of my long time readers know I'm currently an absolute lunatic who is writing a multiverse series that first started because I was salty about the ending of Fairy Tail. Several years on and I find myself baffled at how far its come but I honestly don't regret writing any of it since it has helped me get through some rough times.

Anyway, here are some facts about me that you may or may not find interesting.

Age: 23 years old

Gender: Male

Job Occupation: Wage Slave ... seriously, help my poor back!

Country Of Origin: Australia, so please excuse the occasional odd word or phrase that slips in. I do try to edit them but some words just seem to stick regardless!

Current Upload Schedule: I try for one chapter a week but it isn't always possible because of my job. Some weeks however I get a burst of energy and can smash out multiple chapters in a single week. I do try my best to keep up but if I don't upload within a week or two don't stress because I'm in this for the long haul.

Likes:

Gaming. Honestly, I wouldn't call myself a hardcore gamer but I do actively achievement hunt in my spare time on my favorite games so I guess ... semi hardcore?

Reading. I know, shocker! For real though I'm a big fan of stuff like Deltora Quest, the Inheritance Cycle series, Harry Potter (Not including Cursed Child, yuck!) And just many other works dipped in fantasy I guess.

I really do enjoy reading alternate perspectives on canon material though so I read a LOT of fanfic. My go to seems to be Harry Potter and Naruto crossover stuff since its so damn prevalent here, not that its a bad thing its just there is a LOT of it!

I also like mashed potato a lot, like I cannot even begin to stress the LOT part! My Mum has a way of making it that she taught me and every time I make it for myself now I refuse to do it another way. It basically involves mixing in a concoction of other stuff to add a certain flavor to it and ... oof, makes me hungry just thinking about it! How I haven't gotten fat yet from stuffing myself with it I have no idea, probably ties back to my Wage Slave status haha!

Also, I basically drink Vanilla Coke like water. Legit I managed to quite drinking alcohol a few years ago when money got tight and I had to pick between the two, I quit with basically zero issues despite having been drinking for quite a number of years prior! And yes, I am aware of how unhealthy it is but I have cut back on it and drink in moderation ... don't flame me for it!!!

I also like Anime/Manga. Grew up on Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball and Bleach as a kid and that evolved into the darker and more obscure stuff once I figured out how to get a hold of manga and get onto the streaming platforms for the anime.

Current favorite anime as of January 1st 2021 ... Honestly I'd have to say Gintama. It starts off a bit slow but once the Benizakura Arc comes in you realize just how good the show actually is. From that point the comedy only get better, refining itself to a point that they can infuse it into the most serious scenes and it doesn't detract from them at all. Plus, so many other anime have spawned trying to emulate its style and honestly they fail at it, no show has even come close to weaponizing comedy through literally any medium available like Gintama has whilst still managing to retain its core plot for as long as it has. I know there are people who would disagree with me on that but what other show can blatantly use any media property, blatantly might I add, and get away with it for hundreds of consecutive episodes?

My favorite character is a toss up between Imai Nobume or Hasegawa. Nobume is just adorable and I love her chemistry with Isaburo (RIP), Hasegawa's arc is arguably the show itself, literally watching that man struggle from the episode he gets fired all the way up to the final arc ... its just amazing!

Favorite manga however is undoubtedly One Piece. I know, people will be like BUT WHAT ABOUT X series!?!?!

One Piece just has this allure, you can't really describe it with words alone in all honesty. Oda just has this way of building a world so dense, so full of characters who all have pages of lore behind them and is an absolute master of foreshadowing it makes you really sit there and analyze the pages you read. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect but there's a reason why people call him GODA.

Perhaps its because of my experiences with the series growing up. I remember watching Marineford War growing up and just being completely gobsmacked at how Oda literally just slapped what would basically be a Final War Arc scenario in any other shounen slap bang into the middle of his series with countless top tiers battling it out.

I still remember all the tragic backstories of the characters, even the really minor characters too! Senior Pink ... man, that dude's backstory is lethal! And don't even get me started on Donquixote Rosinante, absolute legend!

Anyway, to keep it short I just feel that its a world that makes you really FEEL for its characters, even the villains and the minor characters, writing them in a way that can change how you perceive them entirely. To me, that is one of the best things about One Piece and why I like it so much.

Dislikes:

People who bash OC characters just for being introduced or existing at all.

Legit, why is this a thing? Isn't the concept of Fanfiction meant to be so we can use our minds to come up with new and exciting ways to expand or recreate our favorite stories? Of course people are going to create original characters, why wouldn't they!? I could write an essay on this though but I'll just keep it simple and say its dumb.

People who don't read the introductory text to a story or the authors notes in it.

This is a dislike simply because I have side content for my main series and people will review it and say I have no idea how to write a character, I'm stupid etc ... If they had even bothered to read the A.N or even half the introductory text then they would know that almost all these characters aren't going to be behaving like they would in canon and everything within requires an enormous amount of context.

Please, understand that some authors do write expansion content for their works that require background knowledge ...

Not the most interesting thing in the world, I know. However I do feel like I'm leagues different from the person I was back when I first started on this site so instead of just a thank you to the people who read this I also want to shout out all my longtime readers.

You guys are absolute legends! Even if it were just a few of you left I'd still upload because your reactions to what I put out honestly keep me going, thanks for all the support and looking forward to more fun going forward!
