Authors Notes- And here I am back again with another chapter of His Dark Desires. As you can gather I don't own Transformers Prime, that belongs to Hasbro. I am merely borrowing them for my own amusement. Now that we got that out of the way here is chapter 12. I hope you enjoy.

Pain. It seemed to be the only thing Miko seemed to register as a shrill scream tore itself from her throat.

"You handle pain so well." Starscream mused as he dragged a taloned finger down her back.

Watching as blood welled into the wound. They had been at this for hours and now her arms, back, and legs were littered with cuts. If she ever made it out of this alive she would have scars from her ordeal. Something Starscream would have found breath-taking on her. Speaking of breath-taking he pulled himself out of his thoughts as she glared up at him. He half expected to see tears in her eyes but he was surprised to see anger blazing in those gorgeous brown eyes of hers. So, he hadn't broken her yet? Good, more fun for him.

He would have been so disappointed if she had broke too soon.

"Funny." Miko spat, venom tinting her voice. "I was just wondering how well you would handle pain when Bulk gets his hands on you."

Silence fell between the two as Starscream took a step back, staring down at the girl before him as she continued to glare at him. When suddenly he burst out laughing, a shrill maniacal sound that bounced off the walls. Making Miko clamp her hands over her ears, wincing.

"Oh Miko you say the most amusing things, it's so... sweet how you have so much faith in that Autobot." Venom tinted Starscream's voice, the corner of his mouth turning downwards. "After all, he'll never be able to save you. No matter how much you want him to."

"You're wrong, he will save me, and when he does I hope he rips out your spark for what you did to me." Miko let out a shriek as Starscream scooped her up, bring her to eye level.

Blood red optics burning into her small, bloody body, but still Miko did not waver. No matter how hard fear gripped her she would not back down, no matter how much the Decepticon hurt her. No matter how hard he tried to break her.

"You seem to hold a lot of hope for one Autobot. And honestly I can't help but think that there is more going on then just some friendship... In fact it almost seems like a fixation on the beast..." Starscream mused, a thoughtful look on his faceplate, and Miko continued to look up at him, wondering where he was going with this.

So, Bulkhead was her friend was that really anything to mull over. When in reality he should be cowering in fear at the mere thought of what Bulkhead would do to him. "Could you, perhaps be in love with him?"

Upon hearing those words Miko felt her heart skip a beat, her eyes widening as she heard those words.

A low chuckle escaped Starscream's lips at her silence. "Did I hit a nerve? Maybe a little too close to home?"

Miko was silent, his words echoing through her head, heart thundering in her chest. Her? In love with Bulkhead? If she had been anyone else she would have burst out laughing at the sheer absurdity of it. But... Miko looked down at her hands, jumping when Starscream put her back down that same grin etched on his faceplate as he watched her. Opening his mouth he was about to say something more, when suddenly he was interrupted by the sound of sirens blaring throughout the room, startling the two of them.

Looking up Starscream scowled, it never failed, whenever he was preoccupied there was always something, or someone that just had to interrupt him, typical. Rolling his optics he turned back to Miko, finding the girl still lost in thought. Obviously he had hit a soft spot with the girl. "Duty calls." He muttered, turning away from her. "I'll be back my sweet, do try to be good while I'm gone." He told her, blowing her a kiss as he disappeared through the door, leaving Miko alone once more.

Miko released the breath she hadn't realized she had been holding until he was finally gone. I need to get out of here. She thought, wincing as pain lanced through her body, blood oozing out of various cuts on her body. But what bothered her the most was what he said about Bulkhead and her. Why does it bother you so much? Maybe because it's true? A voice whispered in the back of her head. Was it? Sure, she loved Bulkhead he was her best friend in the whole universe next to Jack and Raf. But he was her buddy, someone to go dune bashing, and go to Slash Monkey concerts and talk late into the night when she was unable to sleep.

He was her partner. He always had her back, and she had his as best she could. But now... now she couldn't be so sure. Now that she thought about it she could honestly say that her feelings for him have definitely changed. She hadn't realized it at first but now that Starscream had mentioned it she noticed that she did feel different about Bulkhead. Whenever she was around him her heartbeat seemed to quicken, there were times when she was unable to meet his gaze. When her cheeks would heat up, and then there were times when no matter how hard she tried he always seemed to invade her thoughts. But now, as she sat here, alone and as a prisoner of the 'Cons did she realize that she was falling in love with Bulkhead.

How had she not realized it sooner? Bulkhead was basically everything she wanted in a man, sure he wasn't a man and she was pretty sure when she thought about him meeting her parents she was sure that her dating a giant alien robot was probably the last thing they'd expect from her.

But he was everything she had ever wanted. But she had never confessed her feelings because... because she not only realized it would never work out the way she had hoped. They were of two different species. But still... she found herself thinking about him even now. Moving to the small cot she moved to lay down, wincing when she put a little too much weight on her injured side. Exhaustion gripping as she collapsed on the bed, eyes sliding shut as she struggled to sleep.

Thoughts of Bulkhead invading her mind. Remembering how those warm blue optics burned into her own, the way he would smile and indulge in her wild antics. Always enjoying the same things as her, well almost, until someone invented a game controller big enough for him. A small smile crept to her face at that thought. Sighing she rolled onto her back, a sigh escaping her lips as she stared up at the ceiling, sleep eluding her.

Bulkhead, please, please save me. She silently pleaded, tears welling in her eyes as she thought of her best friend. Hoping that the mech in question would find her. And soon, however her thoughts were interrupted by a loud crash...

Authors Notes- And here we have a little Miko-centric chapter. Sorry this chapter wasn't that great but I assure you the next one will be even better. Never less I hope you enjoyed. That being Said this is Black Jack signing off.
