Hey there!

Let me tell you a little about myself:

I am a 21 year old Senior at the University of Florida, and I have been a frequent visitor of fanfiction.net for many years now. My favorite story categories are, but not limited to: Hunger Games, Smallville, Being Human, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Batman, and Harry Potter. My ideal fics, as evidenced by my favorites, are LONG and full of angsty goodness. Usually some physical pain/action is also involved. I am a fan of both hetero and slash pairings, as long as it's between Canon characters. Oh, and there will always be special place in my heart for some good 'ol Smallville Clex. I'm in such denial.

I wrote a few stories back in early '05, and I have to admit they're not very good (granted, I was 14). But I'm working on it. Who knows, maybe I'll post some stories again someday. Being Human US really inspires me to write again, and so does my recent discovery of the Hunger Games.

Stories that pay attention to detail are the best. Rushed stories (like my old ones), are very boring and generally provide little or no insight into a character's personality. I am also a defiant hater of OC's. Give me my favorite canons, because they're why I want to read fanfiction in the first place. I can tolerate OC's occasionally, though, as long as they do not hog the story and they serve a clear purpose other than to represent the author's fangirl fantasy romance of Bruce Wayne dating someone JUST LIKE THEM (but with a super-tragic past and purple eyes, of course)! I'll lose my shit if I see a Mary Sue.

Basically, I try my best to write thoughtful reviews on stories that I like, because I know how disappointing it is to get a review that simply says "great chapter" or "more please!"; I try to review often. However, I have business in real life just like everyone else, so I can't always be an awesome critic, and for that I apologize. If I haven't reviewed in a while, don't worry, because I promise that I'm still reading.
