"Zaza-sensei I sense five chakra signatures,one feels like he's on your level one of them feels small but its incredibly sharp probably good control the other is high chunin in capacity and -"a young boy deduced before going quite getting his masters attention cold brown eyes met concealed horrified indigo.
"What is it Ryusuke why'd ya stop your deduction ?"The tall spiky haired man said watching the young boy who was starting to gasp for air only for a pale hand to clasp his shoulder in order to get him to calm down .
"O-One of them has so much chakra I-I don't know where it ends "he whimpered making the hand squeeze his shoulder in comfort .
"The last ones chakra is so bright ,then it gets so angry like a force of nature ! "he rushed out afraid he would be tongue tied if he didn't as panic set into his veins.His sensei frowned behind the bandages that covered his mouth since that sounded awfully familiar.
"Hey runt I want ya to keep an eye on the one with the biggest chakra signature "he ordered gruffly getting a shaky nod from the child.
"The two of you know the plan if something goes wrong get me out of there "he ordered getting the two to nod in understanding
"Zabuza-Sama don't underestimated them we don't know there skills"a muffled feminine voice said behind a kiri hunter nin mask.
"I know Haku " he said taking the bunny from the cage that haku was tasked with taking care of getting a noise of protest from the hunter nin only to go quite as there master shot a look at them both before quickly disappearing into the foliage .
"Poor tsuki "mumbled the masked nin petulantly getting a pat on the shoulder in sympathy .
"Don't worry I'm pretty sure tsuki will be okay after all Zaza-sensei might not say it but he cares for us."he said getting the person to nod in reluctant agreement.
"Haku ?"he called grabbing the disguised attention
"Yes otouto "they sighed out trying catch as much of the situation that was happening down near the lake.
"That's kakashi hatake "he choked out his sharp eyes taking in everything of the battle watching the two experienced shinobi fight ,their reflexes were top notch way above his yet it seemed like the silver haired jonin was lagging behind.
A clash of metal echoed throughout the mist as the two carefully maneuvered across the foliage internally thankful for the jonins focus on the swordsman not that Ryusuke can fault him for it .Afterall his sensei was a relentless man who had skills very few could hope to match.
As the battle came to an end he made sure to watch everyone's chakra signatures to make sure nobody from konoha tried anything.
"Dammit!,i can't see them at all "a growl escaped the blondes lips feeling frustrated at how out classed he really was as he quickly left the formation to the protest of his teammates his hands going through the hand seals his sister drilled into his head for one the elemental jutsu he knew.
A trumpet of water blasted towards the direction of the two jonin who glanced at it only for the two to dodge easily ,making him quickly curse and jump back as the two continued like he wasn't even there.
A grunt came from the last uchiha cursing the blonde who returned to the formation his eyes frantically moving around just barely seeing the two but he knew for a fact he wouldn't be able to react to them.He felt they were lucky he underestimated them so they could pull off the plan to free kakashi from the orb of water.
The situation was reminding the Ravenette way to much of that night .besides he could tell zabuza was done testing the waters with there sensei with the silver haired jonin starting to falter in his movements he could still hear sakura's shallow breathing from the killing intent in the air but she stayed standing on shaky knees a kunai in her hand in front of there client .His respect for the civilian born Kunoichi rose just a little with her actions.
"This is your end "the voice of there usually lazy sensei shook the young genin out of his musings,the jonin stalked towards his downed opponent a kunai in his hand his arm limp from a brutal kick that dislocated the right shoulder ,light cuts littered his uniform from barely dodging a couple of the monsters sword swings.
A calm settled in the three genin as the adrenaline left there bodies.As naruto lowered his kunai since there sensei took care of what he named 'no brows' a grin coming to his face happy there sensei made it out alive.
"Hey. Did either of you know our sensei was such a bad ass ?"he asked squinting his eyes between the two making Sakura lower her kunai in relief glad she was able to put up a strong facade in front of sasuke.
"What did ya expect kakashi-sensei is a jonin after all "she said a small smile on her face pounding her fist into her palm .Now that the fight was over she couldn't help but notice how naruto had his jaw clenched and sasuke clearly had his lips pursed both there eyes holding frustration but she didn't get it they survived shouldn't they be happy with kakashi winning ?.
The thing was the two were glad the Hatake won ,they were frustrated with themselves because they didn't do much.yeah freeing the jonin from his water prison was a stroke of genius yet it wasn't enough since he was just standing in one place .Then the battle seemed to escalate from there .The results were bruising to the twos ego.
'So this is the full power of a Jonin' sasuke thought wondering if this man could help him reach the same level as him. A grimace flashed on his face before disappearing under a stoic mask .As he turned to check the client a glint of metal caught the corner of his eye heading for kakashi .
'shit there are others !'. "Kakashi! Comrades at our 4'O clock !" He shouted quickly as the man quickly jumped back as the weapons struck zabuza's neck surprising everyone.kakashi quickly searched the area sniffing the air as two scents came from the upper right before the silver haired man blurred in a burst of speed infront of his team and the client.
'Shit that fight took way more out of me than I realized' he thought disgruntled feeling his legs shake a little before hiding it .The genin couldn't tell but there sensei was on his last legs thanks to his experience in the Anbu black ops.
"Come out "he ordered his grey eye quickly examining the spot where he could faintly hear someone approaching.whoever these two were they were good being able to sneak up on him even when he was exhausted.He mentally cursed putting his headband back over his eye in case this got ugly.
As the two got closer he was somewhat surprised but not overly so of there age. Afterall it was uncommon for shinobi to be this young but not unheard of although the smaller one couldn't have been any older than 9 maybe 10 if he estimated right.
'He's even younger than naruto and he's already a hunter nin'the sharingan user wondered impressed his guard still up as the older one checked the demon of the mist .while the younger one sized them all up from what he could tell to make sure they wouldn't interfere.
"He's dead "the slightly feminine voice broke the tense silence,as the younger one took his tanto from his back before seeming to blur in a shunshin?. No he didn't see any smoke or a blur so it was pure speed.
"Hey!,what do ya think your doing!"the uzumaki shouted gathering the twos attention as they quickly severed the head and put it in a sealing scroll.
The hatake noted that the younger one used a fire jutsu to burn the rest of the body as procedure dictated while the older boy?.Girl ?.'yeah by the scent she's female and her little friends a male'he noted for his report to send in for some back up since this became a more problematic mission for just a genin teams first C-rank.
He could already feel the saidame chewing him out for continuing on after encountering the demon brothers.
He was shaken from his thoughts by his most energetic student stomping forward to probably give them a piece of his mind.
"Naruto enough"he ordered placing a calming hand on the blondes shoulders,making him turn his head so he could see how truly frustrated he really was .
"Your joking right sensei we were having so much trouble with zabuza then these two come out've no where and take him down like it was nothin!.i-if there's people out there like them then what I even doing here what are we even here for."he finished not meeting anyone's eyes a slight pout on his face.
Making the jonin sigh in understanding since this was supposed to be a simple mission where they all could wake up to how there world works .instead they dealt with something way above there pay grade a notion that could make or break a newly minted ninja especially with it being 'a time of peace'.
"Naruto you got to understand in our world there's people younger than you who are stronger than me"he stated shooting a glance at sasuke who had a look of bitterness in his eyes as he stared at the child who couldn't be more than two years younger than himself.
"Thank you for the help hatake-San "the female hunter nin said nodding in the silverettes direction which he returned his grey eyes never leaveng the two since his instincts were screaming something was wrong he just couldn't put his finger on it.
"Yes thank you "the younger one finally speaks as he hefts the giants sword onto his slim shoulders belying strength someone his age shouldn't have.The copy ninja noted how he had a sealing pouch beside the standard weapons pouch.
"No problem"he said jovially eye smiling making the child faulter in his steps for a split second making him inwardly chuckle,he felt good that he could get payback for them gathering intel on him and his team.Petty,maybe but he just couldn't help himself he might not have sensed them but he knew why they wanted to observe especially with naruto screaming his name towards zabuza.
He remembered the double take the man did which he tried using it as a leverage sadly it didn't work.oh well at least the secrets still intact that's all that matter.
As the two kiri nins disappeared his lone eye widened in realization.
'Shit,don't tell me-'he didn't have a chance to finish his thought process as the last of his adrenaline left his form his vision went blurry before everything went dark.
An:uh oh what happened to zabuza. Hm how did his two apprentice's get him out of there .what did kakashi realize when they left .
The jutsu naruto used was suition mizzurappa.
And yes naruto has a sister in this story .is she biological ? Or just someone he treats as a sister.find out in the next chapter.
