Chapter 1

Sighing softly, Lilith laid down on her freshly made bed in her new bedroom that was unpacked. It had taken nearly two hours to bring everything in from the trailer and to unpack before setting it up. Yet she was happy with how her bedroom looked with sheer curtains dancing in the breeze from the open balcony doors. Her four poster bed was pushed up against the wall near the door since that's where the most shadows would be. Black sheets covered the bed with a dark blue quilt covered in stars around a moon rested on top. Posters of several bands covered the walls along with paintings of that Lilith had painted mixed among them. Resting over her bed's head board was a large painted scene of several bats flying under moonlight on canvas that Lilith had done two years ago. Rolling onto her right side, Lilith dragged her gray throw blanket over her body as she settled down for a small nap. Her body was tired from her ruined sleep schedule so a nap would help her feel refreshed.

Around 6pm, a knock started Lilith from her rest before her mother opened the door. "Wakey-wakey sleepy head, dinner is here." She said as she smiled at her oldest daughter. Lilith yawned as she tossed off her blanket before sitting up and looking at her mother. "What's for dinner, Mom?" she asked. Lucy smiled as she walked over to hug her daughter. "Pizza now come on before your brothers eat it all." She replied as she turned towards the door. Lilith tossed her bed jostled hair over her shoulder as she stood up. Walking downstairs with her mother, she talked about how she couldn't wait to explore the town. Chuckling softly, Lucy smiled as she listened to her daughter speak for she glad that one child was finding the move a good thing.

Entering the kitchen, Lilith laughed as she watched Michael and Sam fight over the peperoni pizza while Grandpa had taken nearly half of it while they bickered. Hurrying over, Lilith snagged the cheese pizza before passing two slices of peperoni to her mother. Sam shouted not fair when Michael won their little game only to begin laughing as he saw that Grandpa had taken most of the peperoni pizza anyway. Chuckling, Lilith passed some of the cheese pizza to Sam before she looked at her family as they ate together and smiling in happiness. She loved spending times like this with her family and couldn't wait for more times like this. "So you kids want to explore the boardwalk tonight, while I look around for a job?" Lucy asked her children as they finished off their pieces of pizza. They agreed that it would be fun to check out the boardwalk while Michael and Lilith also wanted to look for jobs as well. Michael wanted to have some spending money for the summer and to gas up his bike. While Lilith wanted to help out her mother since they didn't have much money to their name right now. They headed to the boardwalk while Grandpa stayed behind at the house.

Arriving at the boardwalk, Lilith bid her mother and brothers goodbye as she walked off to explore on her own. Sam and Michael had mentioned wanting to check out a concert that was going on before they all split up. Walking along with a curious gaze, Lilith wondered if she should enjoy one of the rides or play a game first. Her gaze caught on a group of punks circling four amazing bikes while one tapped a baseball bat on his left shoulder. "So which one should we wreck first?" a punk with a puke orange Mohawk asked his buddies. "Let's start with the Triumph since I know the leader rides It." spoke a punk with a purple mullet. His buddies all agreed to start with the Triumph motorcycle only to whip around in surprise. Lilith had stolen the bat from the punk holding it as she glared at them. "Now boys who said you can destroy these amazing bikes?" she asked. They eyed her up with growing lust only to cry out in pain soon after. Lilith had hit each of them between the legs hard with the bat while they had been to distracted ogling her body. Sighing, Lilith laid the bat on her shoulder as she looked down at the five punks lying on the ground before her in pain. Sudden clapping from behind Lilith made her up and turned ready to hit with the bat.

Standing behind her was three blondes and a brunet male who she figured own the motorcycles that she had just saved. The leader, a platinum blonde smirked down at the five punks lying on the ground before speaking. "Well you boys got off lite tonight with your punishment." He said. The rest of the group laughed as the punks scurried away from them like mice fleeing a cat. The leader looked her over before holding out his hand. "I am David, and you are?" he asked. "Lilith." She replied to his question. "So Lilith, thanks for saving our prized bikes. Now why would such a pretty woman like you do that?" he asked. Sighing, Lilith spun a stand of hair around her finger before she spoke. "I did it because it would be criminal to watch as such beautiful bikes are destroyed. Besides if someone ever wanted to trash my bike, I would hope someone would step up and save it like I did to yours." She said. The guys laughed softly at her words because it was an unspoken rule to never fuck with another biker's ride.

Grabbing a cigarette from behind his ear, David pointed at the tallest blonde male. "Paul" before he pointed to the shortest blonde with beautiful curly hair. "Marko" He finally pointed to the tall brunet of Native American descent, "Dwayne." The other boys had waved or nodded at her when David had said their names. Lighting his smoke, David eyed the beautiful young woman before them with her ivory skin off set by her long curly white hair and her amazing crimson eyes. "Lilith, care for a ride?" he asked as he gestured towards their rides. Lilith would to go for a spin with them but she checked the time and knew that she had to leave soon. "Sorry guys, not tonight since I promised to meet my family at 11pm to head home. Maybe we can do the ride tomorrow? We just moved and I would love to learn the best places to ride my bike." She said softly.

Paul let out a laugh as he leaned towards her with a big grin. "Hell yeah babe, we can show you all the cool places to ride." He snickered only to yelp as Dwayne hit him lightly on the back of the head. David shakes his head at Paul before he gazed at Lilith. "Tomorrow it is than, Lilith and bring your bike unless you want to ride with one of us." He says. Lilith chuckled faintly before speaking. "I think I will bring my ride just so I can watch you eat my dust." She said. Waving good bye, she turned away to head towards the parking lot to meet with her family, very aware of several eyes watching her walk away.
