Chapter 2
As Lilith walked away from the boys, she could feel their eyes locked on her form. Feeling a bit coy, she began to add a bit of an extra sway to her steps as she disappeared into the crowd. Chuckling faintly, she thought of how interesting it was going to be to hang out with that gang of four tomorrow.
The Lost Boys POV
Their gazes were locked on swaying hips as they watched the young woman disappear into the crowd. They all had the same thoughts that they had finally found their final mate. David spoke up. "All right boys, time to find out everything about our little mate." Marko hide his smirk behind his thumb before speaking. "It will be nice to no longer be the shortest of the pack, well besides Laddie." He said. The guys laughed before mounting their bikes as Star and Laddie was spotted close by. When they arrived, Star made eyes at a young 17 year brunet male as she climbed up behind David. A chuckle left them when a younger blonde boy teased the other that Star had stiffed him. Soon they tore off from the boardwalk while thinking of their mate.
Lilith's POV
After a few minutes of walking, she arrived at her mother's Toyota Land Cruiser before anyone else in her family. Humming a song under her breath, Lilith sat on the Land Cruiser's hood as she waited. Nearly five minutes later, her mother called out her name as she drew closer to the car. "Lilith dear, Guess what?" Lucy asked. Lilith looked at her mother as she hooped off the car's hood. "What you got a job?" she asked. Lucy smiled as she hugged her oldest child. "I got a job at the movie store on the boardwalk. Oh I can't wait to start tomorrow. And the owner, Max, is such a gentleman." Her mother gushed. Lilith smiled happy to know her mother now had a job and would hopefully not worry so much. As the two females stood hugging, her brothers finally arrived at the car and Sam was teasing Michael about something. "Shut up Sam" Michael said as he opened the driver's back passenger door before climbing in. The females broke their hug to watch the males of the family each climb into the car's back seat. Raising an eyebrow, Lilith moved to get into the front passenger seat as her mother moved to the driver's seat. "Boys, I got a job and I start tomorrow at the video store morning." Their mother announced.
The ride home was short and quick with faint music and talk of the boardwalk's attractions. Sam mentioned a comic book shop that he had found as they arrived at Grandpa's house. Soon Lilith and her mother were chatting as they whipped together a late night snack as the boys sat at the table. Laughing softly, Lilith set down the snack as she watched her Grandpa sneak up behind Sam and scare him. "Grandpa, please stop sneaking up on Sam and come sit down." She said with a warm but firm tone. She loved pranks and scaring people but even she knew when not to do it. Her Grandpa chuckled as he kissed her forehead before sitting down next to his daughter. "This looks lovely, girls. Thank you." He said as he filled his plate with food. Sam and Michael soon were play fighting over the food as Lilith and her mother took their own seats. Passing a filled plate to her mother, Lilith laughed out loud as Michael pretended to die from a fork attack by Sam. "Boys behave, silverware is not for fighting." She said chuckling. Filling her own plate with food, Lilith settled into enjoying food with her silly but loveable family.
After their snack, they worked together to do the dishes while Michael mentioned he wanted to look for a job to their mother. She mentioned school starting in a few weeks which made Lilith laugh because she didn't have to deal with high school anymore unlike Michael. She would have gone to college but the whole divorce put that on hold and she didn't even know what she wanted to do. Too many interests in different careers, to make a decision yet. Finishing the dishes, they all split up to what they wanted while Lilith headed outside to the horses. She felt like spending time with them under the stars since it was a nice warm night out. Unknown to Lilith, eyes were on her as she walked along with the horses in the pasture.
The Lost Boys POV
After dropping Star and Laddie off at the cave, the boys followed David's lead as they flew tracking their mate's delectable scent. They wanted to find out where she lived and learn more about her from watching her family and her. Soon they landed in a tree near the horse pasture as they caught their mate's scent the strongest from there meaning she was outside. Paul groaned faintly as he noticed their mate had removed her leather jacket revealing a corset top that drew attention right to her lovely breasts. "Damn she is smoking hot without that jacket." He moaned. Marko chuckled as he leaned down to get a better look as she moved to swing up onto one the horse's back. A faint whistle left his lips as he spied the inked bat wings on her back. "Looks like our little mate has some ink." He said. Dwayne was just silent as he watched how at ease Lilith was riding a horse bareback and the care she took to not harm the horse while riding in a canter around the pasture. David smirked as he watched their mate and listened to his brothers all while thinking of they would begin to woe her tomorrow night. Their fair little mate who they had been waiting a long time for was finally found and soon would be theirs forever. He couldn't wait to see her feed as a vampire with them; for he felt she would be utterly beautiful as a creature of the night.
After two hours of riding between the three horses, Lilith brushed them down before heading into the house. The boys silently flew closer looking into windows before spotting their mate through open balcony doors. Unaware of her captivated audience, Lilith got changed for bed showing the boys more of her beautiful form. She had perky size B cup breasts with a slim waist that lead to nicely toned legs. In their eyes, she was a goddess given human form and all for them to love and cherish for eternity. Their little mate climbed nude into her bed with a faint yawn before soon drifting into sleep. They so wanted to join her on the bed but they also knew it wasn't time yet. All too soon, they could feel the threat of the sun only an hour away, so with one last glance at their sleeping mate, they flew off towards their cave to sleep.
