(Birdo walks back to Yoshi's house with the torn picture and the crown. Yoshi is talking to himself still sitting in the same place.)

Yoshi: "It all my f-fault... MINE! Mine... Mine..."

(Birdo walks up behind Yoshi and puts her arm on his shoulder.)

Birdo: "Yoshi?... How it going?"

Yoshi: "Birdo survived?"

Birdo: "Uh huh! But Yoshi more important. How Yoshi?"

Yoshi: "What do you think!? Horrible! Me just lost mama and daddy..."

Birdo: "Yeah... sorry Yoshi..."

Yoshi: "*sigh* no... Me should be sorry. I shouldn't talk mean like that."

Birdo: "No me get it. I felt same way when Birdo's mommy died..."

Yoshi: "But Birdo wasn't to blame for that. IT ALL MY FA~AULT!" (Yoshi starts crying again)

Birdo: "YOSHI'S FAULT!?"

Yoshi: "I J-JUST STOOD-D THERE AND D-DID NOTHING WH-WHILE KING BOO JUST K-KILLED THEM! IF I W-WASN'T SUCH A S-STUPID FRAIDY C-CAT MAMA AND DADDY S-STILL BE HERE! IT'S ALL MY FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUULT!" (Yoshi hits himself in the head being angry at himself. Birdo grabs Yoshi's hand preventing him from hurting himself anymore.)

Birdo: "NO! No it not! I a swyer! It my fault. If Birdo wasn't a swyer this wouldn't hav-"

Yoshi: "SHUT UP ABOUT THAT STUPID SYWER SYNDROME WILL YA!? I SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THAT! I TRY SO HARD TO MAKE BIRDO FEEL BETTER BUT YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME! YOU NOT ABLE TO HELP IT! SO HOW IS THAT BIRDO FAULT!? ARE THE BULLIES NOT MEAN ENOUGH BIRDO GOTTA TALK MEAN ABOUT OWN SELF TOO!? STOOOOP! KING BOO KILLED THEM NOT BIRDO! IF BIRDO NOT GOT ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY, THEN SHUT UP!" (Yoshi started breathing heavily for about 5 seconds with his eyes squinted looking angrily at Birdo. Then looked towards the ground and started crying.)

Yoshi: "I sor-r-ry... That ju-just ma-make me f-feel WORSE! Please! Please d-don't talk about that no more! I no care about that syndrome! It doesn't aff-fect Birdo's looks, d-doesn't affect personality, if it-t wasn't for that stupid test I n-not even know you have it!"

Birdo: "I sorry. I didn't know it made Yoshi feel that way... Me only want You to be happy. Just thought if you not think it your fault you wouldn't be so sad..."

Yoshi: "Birdo thinking it your fault doesn't make me less sad B-BUT MORE SAD!"

Birdo: "Why?"

Yoshi: "You no like your own self. I try so hard to make Birdo happy! AND STILL NOTHING! You still so sad about something Birdo have no control over!"

Birdo: "Well... I may have something to make Yoshi feel better!"

Yoshi: "What? P-please no be any m-more about it being your fault!"

Birdo: "Nuh uh! Yoshi will like this!"

Yoshi: "Huh?" (Yoshi finally stops crying.)

(Birdo pulls from behind her back King Boo's crown and torn picture)

Birdo: "This king Boo! I KILLED HIM FOR YOSHI! To avenge you for what he did!"

(Yoshi takes the crown and picture. Looking at it for 5 seconds to be sure if it really was him. Yoshi smiles bigger than he ever has in his entire life and throws his arms around Birdo)

Yoshi: "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! YOU THE NICEST SWEETEST STRONGEST CUTEST YOSHI IN WHOLE WIDE WORLD! DON'T LET ANYONE TELL BIRDO OTHERWISE!"

Birdo: "You welcome Yoshi! I wanna make Yoshi more and more happy! Anything else Yoshi want?"

Yoshi: "Well..." (Yoshi thinks about asking for a kiss.) "Hmm... no... nothing... Just being my best friend!"

Birdo: "Aw come on! Yoshi need lota happiness!"

Yoshi: "Well... I did kinda wanna get something embarrassing off Yoshi's mind..."

Birdo: "Embarrassing? Like how embarrassed I get?"

Yoshi: "Yeah..."

Birdo: "It won't be that embarrassing! Just say it!"

Yoshi: "Everyone has this at some point..."

Birdo: "Yeah?"

Yoshi: "Neah... It's not important..."

Birdo: "Please!?"

Yoshi: "What does the word crush mean? Like someone's crush?"

Birdo: "That's the big secret? Yoshi don't know what the word crush mean?"

Yoshi: "No!..." (then thinking he can get out of telling her.) "I mean yes!"

Birdo: "That's not that big of deal! Come on now! WHAT IS IT!?"

Yoshi: "First what does the word crush mean?... I really not know..."

Birdo: "Someone you really really like and wanna kiss one day."

Yoshi: "I just so sad about parents that me just wanna get everything off my mind so I not gotta think about it anymore... I no care what Birdo says to this. Me just wanna stop thinking about it... I know you probably mad at me for yelling at you... I never have chance with such a cute girl like you... Penny wanted Yoshi to kiss you back then but me not know how CUTE Birdo actually was. Ever since Birdo acted so silly that one day, me had a huge crush on you. Birdo not one bit mature, so childish, exactly the type of girl Yoshi been dreaming about... But you probably not like me anyway. I just wanted to stop thinking about that to get it off my mind... I no know... whatever..."

(Birdo's mouth dropped. She was full of so many mixed emotions. First she was thrilled Yoshi liked her, but she was sad he was so depressed. Birdo always dreamed that his confession would be accidental or romantic. Never in this depressing environment. She was also mad at Wart still for doing all this to Yoshi. But her love for him eventually became the main emotion and through it she finally responded.)

Birdo: "Can I make Yoshi feel any better? I no want you to be so sad!"

Yoshi: "No... Birdo not like me anyway..."

Birdo: "NO! I GOT BIG CRUSH ON YOSHI TOO!"

Yoshi: "Why?"

Birdo: "Yoshi saved Birdo's life! You teach me how to talk! You like to tickle me and get tickled! Yoshi never think anything me do is embarrassing! Even that fart! You no even care about swyer syndrome! You the nicest Yoshi me ever met! Please! I wanna repay Yoshi for all the kind things you do for me! Is there anything Birdo can do to make Yoshi feel better!?"

Yoshi: "Maybe... One thing..."

Birdo: "What?"

Yoshi: "Just so I can stop thinking about mama and daddy..."

Birdo: "Yeah?"

Yoshi: "If Birdo really likes Yoshi too..."

Birdo: "YES! BIRDO DO!"

Yoshi: "A... well..."

Birdo: "Go on! Say it!"

Yoshi: "A kiss would make me feel better... Only if Birdo really has a crush on Yoshi too"

Birdo: "Yeah! Alright! If this what Yoshi want I do it!"

(Birdo grabs Yoshi's hand.)

Yoshi: "Th-this is only to take my mind off anything sad." (Yoshi's nervous.)

Birdo: "Yoshi, please. Just enjoy it! I want Yoshi to be happy!"

Yoshi: "Me want you to be happy too!"

(Yoshi grabs Birdo's other hand.)

Birdo: "Me want you to be happy because you are the cutest Yoshi ever!"

(Yoshi closes his eyes)

Yoshi: "You too Birdo..."

(Yoshi puckers his lips. Birdo closes her eyes and puckers hers.)

Yoshi: "What if someone sees us!? This is ille-"

Birdo: "Yoshi PLEASE! I want nothing more than you being happy!"

Yoshi: "Alright..."

(Yoshi and Birdo both lean in with their eyes closed. When their lips touch they finally kiss.)

?: *Click*

(Neither of the two notice and just keep kissing. Yoshi lets go of Birdo's hand and hugs her and she does the same. the kissing slowly gets louder and more rough. Yoshi feels Birdo's spit on his chin and stops.)

Yoshi: "e really not deserve th-" *Birdo interrupts him with another kiss.*

Birdo: "SHHHH! NOTHING SAD! Just say happy things! Yoshi deserve ALL OF THIS! Now pucker up some more!"

(Yoshi didn't wipe the spit from his chin and kept on for about 30 minutes.)

?: "How do neither of them notice me? I'm taking this straight to the authorities!"

(Yoshi yawns and lets go of Birdo)

Birdo: "Feel better?"

Yoshi: "Yeah! *yawn* Lots! Me wanna *yawn* keep kissing but *yawn* I so tired..."

Birdo: "Let's sleep together while holding hands!"

Yoshi: "*yawns* OK!"

(Both lay down in the dirt holding hands and drift off to sleep.)

(A light yellow yoshi jumps down from a tree with a camera. It's PENNY!)

Penny: "HA! Can't believe Yoshi actually believed that bull about I wanted him to be with Birdo! I just wanted Wart's money! Now I got a full recording, lots of pictures, and that confession by Yoshi! This will get those two kicked off the island for sure! Now time for that SWEET MONEY!"

(Penny exits. Yoshi and Birdo are asleep holding hands and don't notice.)
