(Yoshi and Birdo have just set off in the boat heading for the Mushroom kingdom. Yoshi is on the left paddling and Birdo is on the right paddling. Yoshi isn't saying anything and Birdo starts feeling sympathy.)

Birdo: "Hey Yoshi? How's my sugar egg feeling?"

Yoshi: "... Me want my mama and daddy back..."

Birdo: "Sorry Yoshi..."

Yoshi: "Can we play when we get to shore?"

Birdo: "Sure sugar egg!"

(Yoshi smiles.)

Birdo: "Who needs that stupid island!? No one was nice on it anyway!"

Yoshi: "*sigh* Just wish my family was on the boat..."

Birdo: "Birdo know no one at the Mushroom kingdom can replace your mama and daddy but they can still be better then island meanies!"

Yoshi: "Hopefully..."

(Birdo and Yoshi continue paddling. But something is stuck on Birdo's mind. "How did Yoshi bite Boshi? I no have teeth. No one has teeth... I no want to make Yoshi sad. He's SO CUTE! But... We're not talking anyway. It might take sugar egg's mind off it!")

Birdo: "Yoshi, can Yoshi show me your pretty teeth?"

(Yoshi smiles showing off his teeth)

Birdo: "They kinda yellow but still look good! Where Yoshi get them?"

Yoshi: "What Birdo mean by get them?"

Birdo: "Where Yoshi get teeth? At doctor? When?"

Yoshi: "Me always had teeth."

Birdo: "Since Yoshi a baby?"

Yoshi: "Yeah?... Don't Birdo have teeth?"

Birdo: "No! How did Yoshi always have teeth?"

Yoshi: "Don't other yoshis have teeth?"

Birdo: "NO! No one else has teeth!"

(Yoshi's eyes widened.)

Yoshi: "Am I sick?"

Birdo: "I wouldn't think having teeth is a sickness sugar egg. Me just wondering. Another thing I wondering about are those two books."

Yoshi: "One is a children's bible. Me read it once a week. Or what I can. I not able to read very well. The pictures help a lot."

Birdo: "What about the other one?"

Yoshi: "Well... That's kinda embarrassing."

Birdo: "Oh come on Yoshi! No one out here but us two! And a few miles of sea!"

Yoshi: "Well... How about another day? When me get over those meanies?"

Birdo: "Alright... Hey there it is!"

(Birdo saw the Mushroom kingdom. Yoshi and Birdo were almost there!)

Yoshi: "Yoshi hope the toads treat Birdo better then those at the island!"

Birdo: "Me hope so too..."

Yoshi: "Hey! My friends Mario and Luigi will treat Birdo really nice!"

Birdo: "Oh no..."

Yoshi: "Birdo what's wrong?"

Birdo: "Mario was the one who fought me when me a slave to Wart..."

Yoshi: "Mario not know Birdo a slave! He gonna understand! Mario is Yoshi's friend!"

Birdo: "Hope so..."

(They finally made it to shore!)

Yoshi: "Alright. Let's go..."

Birdo: "Hey sugar egg?"

Yoshi: "Yeah?"

(Yoshi turned around to see Birdo with a pillow and she threw it at him)

Birdo: "Yoshi wanted to play when we got to shore right!?"

(Yoshi playfully growled at her)

Yoshi: "GRRR!"

(Birdo quickly grabbed the other pillow from the box but couldn't get Yoshi in time. He hit her and knocked her over. Birdo grabbed the pillow with her feet and threw it back at Yoshi knocking him in the water)

Yoshi: "GAH THAT'S COLD!"

Birdo: "Sorry. Let's move further inland!"

(They hauled the boat further up. Yoshi grabbed his pillow first and knocked Birdo down. Yoshi sat on Birdo's belly and she knocked him off. He fell next to her on his back. Both were laughing. Yoshi got caught in another trance looking at Birdo laughing.)

Yoshi: "That sparkle in Birdo's eyes is so pretty."

Birdo: "You gonna have a sparkle when I done!"

(Birdo grabbed the pillow and hit him again. Yoshi grabbed it with his tongue and pulled it. Birdo fell onto his stomach. They're eyes met again.)

Yoshi: "Birdo is SO PRETTY! Me can't stop looking at those sparkly eyes!"

Birdo: "I like Yoshi's smile. So much I gonna kiss it!"

(Birdo kissed Yoshi)

Yoshi: "Birdo nicknamed Yoshi sugar egg. I gonna call Birdo sparkle!"

Birdo: "Cute! Me like that name! Come on sugar egg let's go meet Mario!"

Yoshi: "Alright sparkle!"

(Birdo got off Yoshi. He stood up. They grabbed some boxes and started walking. They eventually got into toad town. Expecting warm welcomes from the toads, they were greeted with more bullying)

Random toad1: "Hey isn't that Yoshi?"

Random toad2: "Why is he holding hands with Wart's servant!?"

Random toad3: "Are those two a couple now? Isn't Birdo not even a full girl?"

(Birdo drops the boxes and sits down on the sidewalk crying.)

Birdo: "It's happening a-all over ag-gain!"

Yoshi: "GET OUT! GO HOME! SHUT UP OR ELSE I GONNA HURT YOU!"

(The toads shriek in fear when Yoshi steps towards them and they run back inside.)

Birdo: "Th-this is just the s-same as befor-re!"

Yoshi: "I guarantee sparkle that Mario won't be so mean!"

Birdo: "Me hope so... No one likes me..."

Yoshi: "I like you sparkle! Me love Birdo."

Birdo: "You the only one though..."

Yoshi: "So far. Mario will really like Birdo! He just didn't know Wart kidnapped you! Come on!"

Birdo: "Fine..."

(Birdo picks up the boxes and they continue to walk to Mario's house. Yoshi soon sees it ahead.)

Yoshi: "There it is Birdo! The really pretty one."

Birdo: "Can Yoshi go in first? Just to ask if they gonna be nice or mean?"

Yoshi: "Sure! Anything for sparkle!"

(Yoshi goes up and knocks on the door. Mario is inside checking his mail to see if everything is alright. (check if the princess got kidnapped for the 738473218946778934564736520174846501274892310755671737456th time exactly))

Mario: "I wonder who that-a is. Luigi, did we invite-a any guests?"

Luigi: "Not-a that I know of."

(Mario goes to the door)

Mario: "Oh well. Hey It's-a Yoshi! How ya doing? Come on in!"

Yoshi: "Hi Mario. No me can't come in yet... I really sad about someone and..."

Mario: "Yoshi! What's-a the matter? Talk to me!"

Yoshi: "Yoshi's girlfriend is treated mean by everyone. She outside and wanted me to come in and ask if Mario will be mean."

Mario: "Girlfriend!? Well she sure got a lucky Yoshi! Why does-a everyone treat the lucky girl so mean?"

Yoshi: "She not develop correctly. Mutated from birth."

Mario: "That's-a no reason to treat someone that way! Is-a that all!?"

Yoshi: "She got swyer syndrome."

Mario: "Those are just bullies Yoshi. That cannot be helped!"

Yoshi: "Also she was a villain before. She kidnapped when very young and forced to be evil. Mario even fought her before so she scared of Mario and think you still hate her."

Mario: "I don't-a remember fighting a girl yoshi. But I'm-a sorry that I didn't-a know about that. I would've-a helped her if I knew."

Yoshi: "Do Mario promise he won't be mean? Please?"

Mario: "Of course I won't-a be mean to Yoshi's girlfriend! Yoshi, you go tell her we'll welcome her with open arms!"

Yoshi: "Pinky promise?"

Mario: "I don't usually do silly things like-a that but I can see you're-a upset."

(Mario grabs Yoshi's pinky with his.)

Yoshi: "*sigh* Alright. I go get her..."

(Yoshi goes outside to get Birdo)

Yoshi: "Alright Birdo. Mario pinky promised he won't-a be mean. He say he'll welcome you with open arms."

Birdo: "Alright... I guess I try it."

(Birdo is looking at the floor when walking. Yoshi goes up to the porch)

Yoshi: "This is Yoshi's gir- HEY!"

(Birdo is hiding.)

Birdo: "I so scared!"

Mario: "Hey! It's-a alright! Come on! Come in."

(Birdo steps in front of the door looking towards the floor.)

Mario: "EEK! IT'S-A BIRDO!"

Yoshi: "MARIO YOU PROMISED!"

Mario: "Y-yeah... Sorry. I wasn't-a expecting... her."

Birdo: "It's f-fine. I just go find a forest and be alone... No one likes me."

(Birdo turns around and tries to walk off.)

Mario: "No! I'm-a sorry! Come in please!"

Birdo: "It's clear Mario hate me anyway..."

Mario: "No no no! Come on! I shriek often anyway. Please just come in!"

Yoshi: "For me Birdo?"

Birdo: "Fine sugar egg..."

(Birdo turns around and walks back to the door.)

Mario: "Come in! Come in!"

(Birdo walks inside the house still looking down.)

Mario: "Gee! She looks like she had it rough. Birdo, you don't-a have to worry about us! We're-a nice here!"

Birdo: "Not a matter of being nice. I just a freak."

Mario: "Who told you-a that?"

Birdo: "No one told me. Me just am."

(Mario whispers to Yoshi)

Mario: "Yoshi trust me."

(Mario says to Birdo)

Mario: "A smart girl like-a you wouldn't come to such a dumb conclusion! Who told you that-a lie?"

Birdo: "Mario think I smart?"

Mario: "Of course! Now who told-a you such a dumb thing that-a you're a freak? You couldn't think of something dumb like-a that!"

Birdo: "W-well... Doctor Tank say me have swyer syndrome. That reason I no have womb or Birdo tail isn't pointing up."

Mario: "That's not a reason to be a freak! Who told you swyer syndrome was something freaks have?"

Birdo: "Well there's this guy named Boshi..."

Mario: "That whimp? The guy who pissed himself in-a third grade while taking a test? Also flunked kindergarten twice?"

Yoshi: "Oh yeah!"

Birdo: "Haha! I not know that!"

Mario: "Why would a smart girl like you listen to an idiot like that?"

Birdo: "I no know! Birdo not know he was dumb!"

Mario: "Come on! You're-a smarter then that!"

Birdo: "Yeah I am!"

Mario: "So now that-a you're listening to the experts whatcha been up to? How's-a Yoshi been?"

Birdo: "Yoshi and me got kicked off Yoshi island for kissing. But they the dummies! Yoshi is SO CUTE! Birdo and Yoshi like to play around like little kids! Me love tickling! And pillow fights!"

(Birdo's stomach growls)

Mario: "I guess you're-a hungry. There's a fruit forest just-a north from here!"

Birdo: "Yeah. I pretty hungry. Alright see Mario later!"

(Birdo gets up)

Mario: "I'd-a come but I gotta tell the toads about-a you!"

Birdo: "Alright! Bye!"

Mario: "Adios!"

(Birdo heads for the door.)

Yoshi: "Mario you a genius!"

Mario: "I know a bit about psychology. Hope that cures her depression!"

Yoshi: "Thank you Mario!"

Mario: "No problem little guy! Now catch up with your girlfriend!"

Yoshi: "Bye Mario!"

Mario: "Later Yoshi!"

(Yoshi and Birdo head out the door to the fruit forest.)
