Chapter 3
Lucy POV
Waking up at 6:30 am, she got dressed for the day and headed down stairs to make breakfast for her boys and father to warm up when they awoke. Lilith would sleep till night so she didn't make food for her daughter. Finally finishing the breakfast and placing it into the oven, Lucy hummed as she cleaned up a bit around the house. At 8 am, she headed to her Toyota Land Cruiser to head to work and learning her job from Maria.
Several hours later, Lucy looked out the windows and spotted her boys before walking outside to them. "My boys have fun today?" she asked. Sam smiled at his mom as he hugged her back. "Yeah, but some punks ruined my comic that I got last night." He said. Lucy just hugged him tighter. "I am sorry Sam. But you did say you don't like horror comics so maybe its fate trying to keep you from nightmares." She said softly. Hinting at her son's nightmares about a monster in his closet which she understood and she agreed he didn't need to read horror comics. His sister and Grandpa scare the poor boy enough with their pranks. Michael handed his mom an old Christmas card saying he had saved up some money and wanted to help with expenses. Lucy knew he had been working since he missed a few smudges of dirt on his face. "Michael you will need it for school." She said softly. After a few more minutes of visiting, Michael left to ride home with Sam leaving Lucy to return to her shift.
Lilith's POV
Lilith rolled over and checked the time; 5pm stared back at her, on her clock before yawning as she knew it time to get up. Tossing off her blanket, Lilith stretched as she climbed to her feet and moved towards her closet. Grabbing a dark purple corset top and black jean shorts that showed off her legs, Lilith grabbed a thong as well before getting dressed. She never wore a bra under her corsets since the corsets were good enough at holding her breasts in. Looking out her open balcony doors, she smiled as she watched the sun begin to set. Grabbing her biker boots, she pulled them on before picking up her side satchel and bike keys before leaving her bedroom.
Walking down the stairs, Lilith chuckled as she heard Sam and Michael fighting over who made better sandwiches as they got everything from the fridge to make them. "Boys your both got talents at making sandwiches." She said as she joined them in the kitchen. Sam chuckled while Michael rolled his eyes at Lilith's comment. "Not helping sis." Michael said as he passed her a ham and cheese sandwich. To which Lilith kissed his cheek before taking a bite of her food as she walked towards the front door. "See you guys later at the boardwalk. I am going to visit mom quick before exploring the boardwalk." She called as she left the house.
Finishing her sandwich as she walked towards the garage to grab her dark green Honda bike, Lilith smiled as she was excited to meet up with the gang of guys tonight. Walking her bike from the garage, Lilith soon climbed on before starting her bike and ripping down the drive way towards the city below.
Lucy POV
Lucy waved good bye to Maria as she walked out of VideoMax with her purse over her left shoulder. She heard the roar of several bikes coming closer and chuckled as the four guys from yesterday began to circle her slowly on their bikes. "Hi Boys lovely night isn't it?" she asked. The lead biker with a blonde mullet pulled to a stop near her with the other three coming to a stop around her. "That it is Ma'am that it is." He said before looking up as the roar of another bike sounded. Looking over towards the sound with the boys, Lucy smiled as she spotted her oldest child coming towards her. "Lilith over here dear" she called out to her daughter. Her daughter came to a stop next to the mullet blonde before smiling at her mother. "Hey mom, I see you meet the gang. This is David." Pointing to the male beside her. "The tall blonde rocker is Paul and Marko is the blonde angel like imp next to him. And finally is Dwayne on the last bike acting like shirts offend him." She said with a smile. Lucy chuckled as she hugged her daughter before kissing her forehead. "I take it you will be hanging out with them tonight, dear Raven?" she asked.
Lilith's POV
Hearing her mom's question, Lilith smiled before speaking. "Yeah they plan to show me the best places to ride and hang out tonight. I will be home before Dawn so don't worry mom." She said. Before Lucy could reply, a Red Convertible pulled up and a tall man with glasses stepped out with a white Shepard on his heels. "Hello Max" her mother greeted before smiling at her daughter. "Lilith this is my boss, Max and his dog Thorn. Max, this is my oldest child, Lilith." Lucy said. Lilith placed her kick stand down before getting off and holding her hand out to Max. "Hello Max, Thanks for giving my mom the job." She said as she shook his hand. Max smiled down at her before he let go of her hand. "Your welcome. Your mother is a great woman." He said which made Lilith smile as she could see Max liked her mother.
Looking over her shoulder where Paul was talking to her Mother, Lilith turned back to Max before speaking softly. "I give you my permission to date her but if you break her heart, I will be forced to kick your ass." She growled softly at the end. Max nodded before he asked a question. "Would it be to forward to ask for her for a date tomorrow night?" he asked. Lilith chuckled softly before patting his shoulder. "My mother has a crush on you Max. You asking will make her night" she said before pulling away to greet Thorn. The white Shepard was soon putty under Lilith's skilled fingers as she pets him causing Max and the boys to stare in surprise. Lucy laughed as she watched her daughter make Thorn into mush.
After a few more pets, Lilith climbs to her feet and heads to her bike. "Well Mom and Max, we are going to head out before the night is over. Since we only have so many hours before the sun is up and I have to get home." She said. Kicking up the kickstand, Lilith eyed the boys as she started her bike. "Last one to the boardwalk is a spineless worm." She teased before taking off down the road. The Boys soon speed off after her leaving Lucy and Max alone before the video store.
Max's POV
He was curious about why Lucy's daughter mentioned being home before sunrise. "Does your daughter have a curfew?" he asked. Lucy chuckled softly. "No, Lilith has albinism and she burns badly under direct sunlight because her body can't make pigment that allows one to tan. So she sleeps nearly all day and adventures out at night. She has to be really covered up in order to go out under the sun and it's not fun being so covered during the summer." She said. Max nodded before he coughed lightly. "Lucy, would you care to join me for dinner tomorrow night after work?" he asked her. Lucy blushed faintly before smiling wide. "I would love to have dinner with you Max." she said. After a few more minutes of chatting, they separated as Lucy moved to head home and Max into the store.
The Lost Boys' POV
Watching their mate race off, they quickly took off after shouting and hollering in glee as the race was one. She may have a lead on them but they were catching up with their faster bikes. Yet she was a sneaky rider who wasn't afraid to swerve close to them before riding away. Marko and Paul had fun pulling the same stunts on her making her laugh and warming their cold hearts hearing the heavenly sound.
