Chapter 4
The first to ride their bike onto the board walk was a tie between David and Dwayne followed by Marko than Lilith with a laughing Paul coming in last. "Paul, you lost man." Marko teased as Paul parked his bike next to Marko's. Lilith chuckled as she was the reason Paul came in last because she had sent him a flirty wink which caused him to nearly crash. If she hadn't done that than he would have been in fourth with her in the last. "Sorry Paul, no hard feelings right?" she asked. Paul smirked at her as he blew a kiss at her. "No hard feelings, Babe. I would have done the same thing." He said before lighting a joint.
Lilith chuckled as she raised her hands above her head before twisting slightly causing several cracking sounds to sound from her now stretched out back. She also did it as a bit of teasing apology by letting Paul get a nice eyeful of her breasts as they bounced in her corset. The other three got it as well and Marko let out a small whistle as he watched her stretch. "You're going to make us have to hide you away from others after this, Lilith." David said as he gently grasped her chin. Lilith smirked faintly as she lightly bites his gloved thumb. "Are you jealous, David? Those other men are eyeing me." She asked.
A faint growl left David's lips before he let Lilith go before he tried to mark her in public so all knew that she was their mate. Dwayne distracted Lilith by taking off his jacket and dropping it onto her shoulders. "Wear it for a bit." He said besides he wanted his scent to cover her. Marko and Paul smirked as they watched this all happen while passing the joint between them. Their little mate was feisty and they loved watching her in action.
Marko chuckled before he spoke. "So are we going to so the lady a good time or what?" he asked. Reminding the others of their plans to woe their little mate tonight. David lite a smoke before he nodded and spoke. "Alright Boys lets show Lilith a good time." He said before leading the way into the crowds. Lilith smiled as she slipped her arms into Dwayne's jacket as she walked between the boys down the board walk.
Whispers caught Lilith's ears as she strolled with the boys about 'who was the hottie with the Lost Boys?' They didn't bug her at all but she did like the sound of the name given to the boys. The Lost Boys seemed to suit them as she watched them while following David to the Big Dipper ride. She raised an eyebrow when they cut in line and the attendant didn't do anything just let them get on. Marko was quick to swipe the seat next to Lilith making the other boys curse him as Lilith laughed. "Better luck next time Boys" he called.
Several rides and games later, Lilith was laughing as she sat on her bike listening to Paul tell a very funny story. As she threw her head back in laughter, a young boy came running up to Dwayne and tugged on his hand. "Star left me to follow a boy." He said. Dwayne nodded before he noticed Lilith smiling at the boy. "Lilith this is Laddie, and Laddie this is Lilith." He said. "Hello Laddie. I love your jacket" she said. Laddie smiled before hiding behind Dwayne as he was a bit shy and she was really pretty.
"So who is Star?" Lilith asked. David spoke. "She is kinda like our sister but she is being a bit of a brat lately. Or it the whole woe is me phase that she is going threw. Either way, she is one of us even if she hasn't accepted it yet." Lilith sighed softly. "I take it, she is a runaway that you took in and she does not understand how things in life will be different from now on. Just give her some time and a bit of space while also letting her see the joy of the life style." She said. The boys stared at her in surprise as David thought her words over. Gazing into the strolling by crowd, Lilith smiled and pointed as she spotted her brother, Michael walking beside female. "That's my brother, Michael. And I don't know who his friend is." She said.
David threw his cigarette butt to the ground and stomped it out. "Well Lilith, Lets greet your brother." He said. They all mounted their bikes before racing over to surround Michael and Star on their bikes. "Where you going Star?" David asked. "For a ride. This is Michael," Star answered, a bit of fear can be heard in her voice. Lilith looked over the girl that had her brother fall instantly in love at first sight. She only hoped that the female didn't hurt Michael's heart because he tends to pout and mope when suffering heartache from failed romances.
Michael mounted his bike, "Let's go." He extended his hand for Star to take. She turned to grab it when David's commanding voice was heard, "Star." She turned to Michael with an apologetic expression before getting behind David on his bike. David decided to see how willingly this kid is to see Star, "You know where Hudson's Bluff is? Overlooking the point?"
Michael scanned his eyes over David's bike, "I can't beat your bike." David smirked, "You don't have to beat me, Michael. You just have to keep up." David, Lilith and his boys didn't bother waiting to see if Michael agreed before taking off. Michael reluctantly followed them over the board walk and down some stairs after almost chickening out. He didn't want to come off as a coward, so he followed them as close as he could. Even with the sand being kicked up in his face, Michael was having fun. All four vampires and Lilith hooted and hollered while speeding over the sand, under the boardwalk, and through the tree line before exiting near a cliff shrouded in fog.
Lilith, Marko, Paul, and Dwayne pulled back as Michael and David raced to the cliff's edge. David could see Michael was getting scared, he could barely see through the fog. But they both continued to race towards the edge. Michael saw the cliff coming up quickly; he skidded to a stop on his side. David stopped with his front tire teetering over the edge. Michael got off the ground, ran up to David, and punched him. The other three boys surrounded Michael to break up the fight before it got serious. "Come on, just you. Just you," Michael was ready to fight David. David on the other hand, just smiled and said, "How far are you willing to go Michael?"
"Michael, Calm down. I know that was a dirty trick but you dealt with worse from me at times." Lilith said as she moved to lay an arm over her brother's shoulders. Michael calmed down as he realized his sister was right, for she had done many dirty tricks to Sam and him. But most of the time, she did them to teach her brothers what to look out for. "Sorry for hitting you David. I let my temper lead me." He said as Lilith smiled beside him. Turning her crimson gaze on David, Lilith spoke. "So what's next Lost Boys?" she asked. The four vampires smiled at their given title by the people of Santa Carla since they were lost to time as vampires, even if the people didn't know that. "Let us show you our place." David spoke before leading the way to a rickety stairway leading down the cliff to the beach.
