Chapter 6

After watching the others enjoy themselves, David spoke for all to hear. "Let's go for a ride Boys and Girl." He called. Laddie protested for a few minutes about wanting to go along only to yawn as he grew sleepily. Lilith smiled as she convinced the small lad to go to bed with a promise of fun on the boardwalk tomorrow. She would take him on rides and play games with him which made him smile big as he drifted into sleep.

Heading outside the cave, they all climbed to rickety stairs to the top of the bluff. Lilith chuckled as she watched Paul fall into the dirt as he was tripped by Marko. Holding out a hand, she helped Paul back to his feet. Mounting their bikes, they took off into the forest with David leading the pack on his Triumph motorcycle.

Breaking through the tree line they followed the railroad tracks for a good five minutes before stopping. She noticed the bridge before them sitting over a ravine. "Perfect timing," she heard David say as they climbed off the bikes and began to walk the tracks over the ravine.

"What's going on?" Michael chimed as Lilith looked around the tracks. The darkness beneath them was making it almost impossible to see anything beyond tracks they walked. The fog wasn't helping matters either. "Michael wants to know what's going on." David said. "Marko, what's going on?" David asked as he caught Lilith as she stumbled over an upraised board.

She glanced towards the boy at her side. The wild gleam in his eyes only making her smile as he sent her a wink. A smothering look in his eyes as he responded. "I don't know. What's going on, Paul?" "Who wants to know?" Paul asked. "Michael wants to know!" Marko replied. The others laughed.

"I think we should let Michael know what's going on." David's voice silenced the boys laughter as he stopped. His arm thrown over Michaels shoulder as he smirked. "Marko?"

The boy smirked. "Good night, Michael." He looked at her. "Raven." Then he jumped. His voice floating upwards as he fell. Lilith barely had a second to react as Paul followed laughing as he did so. "Bottoms up." Paul snapped his fingers then jumped. Disappearing as Dwanye took his place. She was moving closer to where Marko and Paul had disappeared when Dwayne nodded and flashed finger guns before stepping through the hole and disappearing from sight.

"Come with us, Michael." David said before reaching out to her. "Lilith, come with us" She knew what he was asking. The black leather gloves he wore beckoning her to trust him. The worn gloves met the soft flesh of her hands. A smile that tore across his face as he tugged her into his arms. "Hold on tight." He whispered, her arms latching around him as he stepped through the hole. She expected the feeling of weightlessness. The air whipping around her before suddenly, it wasn't as David caught the bar above them.

"Hey girl." Marko called, Paul chiming in from besides him, "Hello, sweet-cheeks!" She looked down into the dense fog as she held onto David. If it wasn't for David's arm on her waist she'd probably have missed catching onto the bar and dying a painful death below. She didn't know the placement of the bar like the boys seemed to know so she had been trusting David to help her.

Said boy lifted her body slightly, a second arm snaking around her waist as Dwayne pulled her from his grasp. Her hands latching onto the bar between the two boys with a strong grasp. Facing Marko as David called for Michael to join them. Michael slowly climbed down to swing before David while Lilith watched Marko and Paul kick at each other.

A train horn sounded as she felt the bridge beginning to shake. The boys almost immediately beginning to holler and shout in excitement. "Hold on!" one shouted as Lilith shouted in glee along with the others. She had never done such a reckless thing in her life like right now but she loved the high of the excitement. These boys sure knew how to live on the edge, that's for sure.

As the shaking worsened as the train rode over their heads, Lilith noticed Paul's form falling into the fog below. "Don't be scared Michael!" She met Marko's eyes as she watched him purposely let go. Plummeting into the fog with screams of joy as he disappeared from her sight. Dwayne following with a smile in her direction as he released his grip before being consumed by the fog.

"You're one of us now, Michael!" She could hear David's shouting. "Let go!" David looked over his shoulder at her as he held out a hand to her. "Come on Lilith, dear." He called. Nodding, Lilith released her right hand to grab David's hand before they both let go together falling into the fog. A shout of glee left Lilith's lips before she felt her descent seem to slow as she looked at David. "Whats going on David?" she asked. David smiled at her as he ran a finger over her cheek. "Sleep little one." He compelled as she fell into the grasp of sleep in his arms.

The Lost Boys POV

A few minutes after Lilith drifted to sleep at David's command; Michael lost his grasp and fell. He screamed as he fell before passing out as Marko and Paul caught him between them. David looked at hi brothers before speaking. "Marko, you and Paul are to ride Michael's and Lilith's bikes back to their home. Dwayne take Michael as we fly them back home." He ordered. Dwayne easily took Michael before drifting off into the air towards the Emerson home. Marko and a laughing Paul headed towards the bikes to grab Michael's and their mate's bikes. As David began to fly towards Lilith's home with her resting in his arms, the two blondes tore off into the night to meet up with them.

Arriving at the Emerson house, David flew through Lilith's open balcony doors with Dwayne on his heels holding Michael. Nodding to David, Dwayne exited through Lilith's bedroom door to drop Michael off in his bedroom. He dropped the shorter burnet on the top of his covers before closing the door and returning to Lilith's room. Entering, he closed the door and walked over to join David in gazing down at their sleeping mate.

While Dwayne had dropped Michael in his room, David had taken off Lilith's boots before tucking her into her bed. A swish of air announced the arrival of Marko and Paul into their little mate's bedroom. Each boy gave her a kiss on the lips missed with a bit of their blood to start the mating bond between them and Lilith. Soon they drifted out of the room and back to the bridge to collect their bikes before the sun rise in an hour and a half.
