I'm not really sure what to put here, but I got tired of looking at all the white space every time I opened my profile, so here goes.

I'm a twenty-something year old woman, Christian and proud of it, and an aspiring artist who isn't nearly as good as she'd like to be. I like yoga, gaming, reading, and drawing, but every once in a while I manage to squeeze out a fic. I like to think I'm polite and friendly when talking to strangers, but my friends tell me I can be terribly blunt, so I sometimes end up unintentionally hurting feelings. If you're here because of that, then I'm sorry: I (probably) didn't mean to.

Carthago Delenda Est (Code Lyoko): Code Lyoko Chronicles was way more satisfying than Evolution, in terms of sequels. But it was missing several things I was hoping to see, and wasn't quite in-line with the show's canon. Hence, this will be a rewrite/retelling that aims to make it feel like a proper Season 5.

The Lost King (FE): By popular demand, a multi-chapter pre-game Garon fic, exploring what he used to be like, his perspective on the Hoshido-Nohr conflict, and the concubine wars. 7/7 chapters posted. Fire Emblem Fates: Aftermath (FE): A multi-chapter fic that explores what happens post-Revelation, namely the reconstruction of Valla, the attempts to maintain peace between two nations with decades of bad blood, and of course the relationship between Corrin and Azura. No clue as to the estimated chapter length, but it's going to be longer than The Invisible Princess. 16/16 chapters posted. Now has a tropes page, feel free to add to it!

Extra Life (Dangan Ronpa): Multi-chapter fic that brings Chiaki Nanami back in a canon-compliant way and documents her slow recovery, with an eventual happy ending. Because she deserved so much better. 27/27 chapters posted. Recommended by TvTropes! Now has a tropes page, feel free to add to it!

Expansion Pack (Dangan Ronpa): A one-shot collection set in the same universe as Extra Life. NOTE: there was still another chapter or two I wanted to push out for this. However, writer's block keeps coming back to haunt me, and I can't promise to deliver those chapters in a timely fashion. Hence, I'm marking at as complete since I can't even promise to return from a hiatus.

Personal Peeves:

1. Bad Grammar. Nothing turns me off a fic faster than multiple misspellings in the same paragraph. I don't mind the occasional misuse of a comma or whatnot, but if it's constantly popping up, I close the tab and look for something else. If I can't read something without stumbling over bad grammar every sentence, I won't even try.
2. OOC-ness: Excusing parodies or crack fics, I find it very jarring when a character who is very sweet in canon becomes a total bitch, or vice versa. Usually it's a sign of poor writing talent or hatred on the author's part. While I am willing to allow for a certain amount of Alternate Character Interpretation, too much breaks my suspension of disbelief--and my interest in the fic.
3. Posting what looks like a chapter but is really an author's note: Telling readers that the fic is going on hiatus for personal reasons (such as an injury or life-altering situation) is okay of course, but a vague promise to get the next chapter out "soon" is frustrating and disappointing. At least for me; I'd rather get that chapter than a promise.

TRUE STORY

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won't repost it?
