Yoshi and Birdo, Does it matter?

Hello reader! This story is about how Yoshi and Birdo first met. It is intended to be a very sweet and cute story about the couple, while also answering any questions like the transgender stuff or why Birdo was working for Wart. I will include religion so if you don't like that please don't read it. This is NOT intended in any way whatsoever to make transgender people feel uncomfor

26. Chapter 26 Jail Break

(Birdo got back in the boat and went back to the island. She went in the night so no one would be around. What she didn't know is that Daisy wasn't far behind still bent on the idea that Birdo is evil.)

Birdo: "Alright. All me gotta do is save Yoshi and we can live a happy life with... Bowser... Eh. He probably not all that bad. Now how am I gonna save sugar egg?"

(Birdo went to where the jail was and was behind the building.)

Birdo: "How to get in th-"

Guard: "HEY! THIS PLACE IS OFF LIMITS!"

Birdo: "Whoops!"

(The guard comes into view and is a purple yoshi.)

Purple guard: "Hey! You're that traitor Birdo! I GOT-"

(Birdo spit an egg at him.)

Purple guard: "Oh is that the way it's gonna be!? BRING IT ON!"

(The purple guard (being a flight yoshi) flew up to the top of the jail and threw an egg at Birdo. Birdo dodged it and started vacuuming the purple guard. He tried to fly away but fell to the ground.)

Birdo: "STOP BEING SO MEAN TO YOSHI!"

Purple Guard: "Ha! Think we care how you feel?"

(Birdo blew him against the wall of the prison and kicked him in the gut.)

Birdo: "Good thing Birdo is his weakness! How I gonna get in?"

(a branch fell off a tree and next to Birdo.)

Birdo: "I can use the tree! Then get on top!"

(Birdo got on a low branch then climbed to the top. Only to realize that the jail was too far away.)

Birdo: "AAAW! If only there some way to float over there."

Tank: "Birdo!"

Birdo: "AAAAGH! Tank! Don't do that! Tank scared me! I thought it a guard!"

Tank: "Sorry. I followed you over here in a submarine. I won't be able to help you any more then give you advise. I have measured your body mass and your maximum lung capacity. You should be able to literally float over there by sucking up as much air as possible then jumping!"

Birdo: "That sounds kinda fun!"

Guard: "Hey! Where's that traitor Birdo!?"

Tank: "Gotta scram! Good luck!"

(Birdo sucked up the air and jumped off floating over to the jail roof and landing. Birdo blew out the air.)

Birdo: "*phew* That hurt a bit but I up here safely. Where's sugar egg being kept?"

(Birdo walked around and tried to be quiet so the guards wouldn't hear. The roof was glass so she could see through.)

Birdo: "Pretty dumb whoever designed this."

Yoshi: "Birdo? Birdo!"

Birdo: "Yoshi! Where Yoshi?"

Yoshi: "Over... here! C-come this... way!"

(Birdo soon found Yoshi in his cell and looked down.)

Birdo: "I gonna kick the roof in!"

Yoshi: "Alright... Wait! Then... we w-"

(Birdo broke the glass and fell in.)

Yoshi: "Won't be... able to... get out..."

Birdo: "Oops."

(Birdo looks at Yoshi and notices Yoshi is really bruised up and has a black eye.)

Birdo: "YOSHI! WHAT THEY DO TO MY LITTLE SUGAR EGG!?"

Yoshi: "NOT!-... so loud... My ears... hurt."

Birdo: "What they do?"

Yoshi: "They let... Boshi beat me... up for a lie... Said... me killed mama... I no know... why!"

Birdo: "Yoshi! That video was a lie! Boshi and Ruby dressed up to impersonate us!"

Yoshi: "Those little... devils..."

Yellow guard: "HEY! IT'S THAT CRIMINAL BIRDO! GUYS I GOT HER!"

Birdo: "Great! Now what!?"

Yoshi: "Birdo shouldn't have... broken the window!"

Birdo: "Sorry!"

Yellow guard: "Where is that key!? DON'T GO ANYWHERE!"

Birdo: "Trying our hardest to!"

Yoshi: "Birdo shouldn't have come! Yoshi... rather Birdo live."

Birdo: "I not able to live happy without Yoshi!"

Blue guard: "YOU IDIOT! DID YOU LEAVE IT IN THE CAR AGAIN!?"

Yellow guard: "Oops. I'll be right back! STAY PUT BIRDO!"

Yoshi: "*sigh* Fine. What we gonna do though?"

(Luigi appeared at the top of the roof.)

Luigi: "I'M-A HERE NOW!"

Birdo: "LUIGI! I thought Luigi too scared and ran away"

Luigi: "I-a couldn't leave the 2 cutest-a critters in the whole world!"

Yoshi: "Thank...s Luigi!"

Yellow guard: "I GOT IT! COME HERE!"

(The yellow guard ran in but tripped dropping the key and it slid into the jail cell.)

Blue guard: "YOU STUPID DULL ROCK!"

Yellow Guard: "OOOH! I GOT IT! I'LL GO GET THE GUN! THEN I'LL SHOOT THE DOOR OPEN!"

(He ran off again.)

Luigi: "GRAB ONTO THIS ROPE BEFORE HE GETS BACK!"

(Luigi threw a rope down)

Birdo: "YES! Come on Yoshi!"

Yoshi: "My... arm hurts!... Can't move..."

Birdo: "Now what!?"

Yellow guard: "GOT THE GUN! *Click* What's wrong?"

Blue Guard: "When I called you a rock I'm sorry. A ROCK IS SMARTER THEN YOU BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY BULLETS!"

Yellow Guard: "SHOOT! I'll go get some!"

Birdo: "I could take a shower before he gets the door open."

Luigi: "I have an idea! I-a found this in-a your room!"

(Luigi drops down a box with a bow on it.)

Birdo: "What's this?"

Yoshi: "That's... my pr...esent... Birdo asked... for it last night..."

(Biro opens it to find a shell with a rubber band around it.)

Birdo: "Aw... Yoshi... IT'S ADORABLE!"

Yoshi: "But... you no have... to use it... for me."

Yellow guard: "I GOT THE BULLET!"

Blue guard: "Betcha forgot the gun powder"

(Yellow guard leaves)

Blue guard: "Called it."

(Birdo puts on the shell)

Birdo: "I love it! Yoshi I gonna put you on me for test run!"

Yoshi: "You no... have-"

(Birdo grabbed Yoshi and picked him up.)

Birdo: "Yoshi pretty light. For all those watermelons sugar egg not weigh much at all!"

Yoshi: "Hehe..."

(Birdo put Yoshi on her back and grabbed the rope and climbed up.)

Yellow guard: "I GOT THE GUN POWDER! TAKE THIS! *BANG!*"

Blue guard: "Wrong cell."

Yellow guard: "Oops."

Blue guard: "please tell me you brought more then one bullet"

Yellow guard: "uuuuuuh no..."

Blue guard: "*sigh*"

Luigi: "you've already escaped and-a they're still-a trying to get the door open!"

Birdo: "Interesting."

(A plane is seen in the distance with the bomb attached to the bottom)

Birdo: "Oh no!"

Yoshi: "What!?"

Luigi: "That's-a the nuclear bomb Wart's-a trying to kill you-a with."

Yoshi: "WHY CAN'T THOSE JERKS LEAVE ME AND BIRDO ALONE!"

Luigi: "I have-a to warn the other-a yoshis!"

Yoshi: "Why? What... good will it... do?"

Birdo: "What do Yoshi mean? We gotta save them!"

Yoshi: "No we don't! Let's just leave them!"

Birdo: "Yoshi! How could you say that!? Don't Yoshi care about all the others?"

(Fill in the bleeped out word with your preferred word. Multiple 4 letter words could fit.)

Yoshi: "I DON'T GIVE A **** ABOUT THEM! WHY SHOULD I!? THEY HIT AND CUT YOU ALL BECAUSE YOU HAD SOME MUTATION FROM BIRTH! THEY BULLIED ME AND ALL MY FRIENDS JUST FOR FUN! PENNY RECORDED US KISSING JUST FOR SOME MONEY! THOSE DEVILS ONLY CARE FOR THEMSELVES! THEN THEY WEREN'T THROUGH YET! THEY MURDERED MY MOM AND DAD, THEY CHASED US TO THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM, LIED ABOUT US KILLING THEM INSTEAD, CAUSED MY BEST FRIEND MARIO TO TURN ON US, ARRESTED ME, BEAT ME UP, THEN TRIED TO ARREST YOU! THEY BEAT ME UP AND SAID THEY'D DO SAME TO YOU! WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT THEM!? I HOPE THEY JOIN THEIR LEADER, SATAN IN HELL! I SAY WE GIVE THEM WHAT THEY DESERVE AND LEAVE THEM TO DIE! THEN IN HELL THEY CAN HAVE THE FLESH RIPPED OFF THEIR BONES AND SUFFER FOREVER!"

(Luigi and Birdo turned to look at him astonished by what he said.)

Birdo: "... Yoshi?"

Luigi: "Yoshi... do you-a really mean that?"

Birdo: "That not sound at all... like the cute Yoshi I know..."

(Yoshi squinted his eyes shut and started crying. His voice got very high pitch and his voice cracked with every word.)

Yoshi: "I~I j~ust-t... WHYYYYY~YYY!? WHY~Y THE~Y ALL S-S-O ME~AN!?"

(Yoshis crying turned uncontrollable. He put his head on Birdo's neck and tears streamed out.)

Birdo: "I sorry they like this Yoshi..."

Yoshi: "D-D-O WHA~AT Y-Y-YOU WA~ANT! I-I-I NO CARE!"

Luigi: "Yoshi, you'll-a see. I'll make sure things-a get better. If I-a have to fight Mario myself. I'll-a do it for you. But there's many innocents on the island. They must be rescued. I'll-a go warn them. Birdo, take Yoshi to the beach to get a boat. Get out of here ASAP! There's no stopping this-a bomb!"

Birdo: "Alright! Bye Luigi."

(Birdo ran towards the beach and Luigi ran towards the town warning everyone. Meanwhile in the jail)

Yellow guard: "I GOT THE EXTRA BULLETS AND MORE GUN POWDER! *BANG!*"

Blue guard: "You missed the lock."

Yellow guard: "I'LL GET IT THIS TIME! *BANG!*"

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

Blue guard: "You not only missed the lock, you shot the lights. We can't see!"

Yellow guard: "I'll go get a flashlight!"

Blue guard: "With batteries you dummy!"
