![]() Author has written 3 stories for Super Smash Brothers, My Little Pony, and Pretty Cure. Gokigenyou, CureJump95 here This is my first time on a website like this, but I did do some story writing for certain video games before but only in writing. My interest includes watching videos, playing video games and currently I am attending college. Most of the videos I watch are mainly magic girl anime, mainly the Precure series, or Nintendo Let's Plays, or review of shows but I do watch some TV but not as much. But when I do, I watch Gravity Falls, Original Teen Titans, Pokemon anime series, DBZ, MLP:FiM, Fairly Odd Parents, mainly animated cartoons that I find enjoyable. But especially, Avatar the Last Airbender, Def. South Park, and finally Futurama. My favorite games include Pikmin series, Super Smash Bros. series, Mario series, Pokemon, and Kid Icarus Uprising. My fav. childhood games are StarFox 64, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Party 3-8, certain Kirby games, and which ever I can access easily. I am hard to find, so it is best to leave reviews or comments for me here on some of the comment section or Message me through PM. Even though I am hard to find, it does not mean I don't like to receive reviews or comments, I like to receive comments or reviews, it shows that people are reading and it could encourage me to get new and better ideas and fix past mistakes. I won't announce a hiatus: I will likely post something like around every two and a half weeks and depends whether I am busy with school or not so if longer, than I am on hiatus. Majority of my stories will most likely include magic, some comedy, and some seriousness, but no romantic stuff as I am not into any kind of romance except for when it is from canon source. I'll have some ideas for Fanfiction, I'll get it on here when I am not as busy. :) I am a, more or less, story driven writer, meaning I am more focus on the story rather than some of the fighting, if required in the stories. I am open to comments, Reviews or Thoughts so be sure to leave some if any, even if I do not mention it. I am the kind of writer that has scenes in her head and I use some of the scenes to create the stories so I put up some stories about how these came to be in case you want a story about the fanfictions. Most of the time when I am writing, it is usually ideas that pop into my head when I am randomly thinking. I have a tendency to think about a lot of stuff, whether school, video games or cartoons which is mainly where the inspiration for the stories came from. Yes, I do think about weird things happening, especially when bored and I have no outside source for it. I write Fanfics., to help the imagination flow and reveal itself so I can see where it leads to or what more about it will be reveal. I also use it as a personal challenge to improve my writing or see what I am about when it comes to writing. I have been writing stories like this from time-to-time, as early as when I was in Middle school and many of the stories I wrote then, I would say are now that I look at, laughably bad because it is all over the place, Peach being a serious person yet be silly situations and silly plots such as the Princess is a spy in the Winter Olympics. Also looking back it shows inconsistencies such as what characters are there, why are they there and what is their purpose, mainly characters are mentioned to be at a place with no reason, or show or purpose for laters, that's how bad it was. (Internally Laughing). Current Ideas: Super Smash Bros.: Fighter Boys and Magic Girls, now with a bunch of new ideas. The story behind this is I was watching a sprite series on Youtube, which is now pretty much dropped off but still available. Back then, while waiting for the next episode, I would imagine what is going to come out next to be patient. It got to a point where my version headed a much different direction from it and my version start to be my own kind of story. The idea fully came to be when I thought about Peach, Daisy and Krystal being their own heroines and got into trouble somehow. Current Favorite Series: Mario and Luigi The Mask, by TimeLord Paradox The series that inspired it: Super Smash Adventures by BrawlFan1 For those who saw my story and here's a message: I will be update touch up the story a bit more cause some aspects I had forgotten and others I just want to go by updated terms. Hopefully, in this time, I'll come up with more ideas and the time between won't take too long. Info or facts in or about the Story The Twenty-Twenty-Twenty Adventure: Because I have a tendency to write a lot of words for little things, I broke this chapter into 3 parts, while doing the shifts from A plot to B plot. The title of the name relates to the number 1/5 as three of the star-bearers. In this saga, I originally have Ganondorf by Bowser at the end of the cave, also looking weird and having the ability to summon the freaky moon and attack with it, sorta of like a Moonblast attack. I removed both ideas as I thought it is a bit morbid and would make the 2nd section longer, which is one of the reasons why I broke this into three separate parts. Another idea that I had was Zelda getting both Daisy and Krystal's star-piece, fighting against Bowser, Dark Glacier and Ganondorf and it also made her and Link look like they are about to get married when both pieces sink in. I thought of it to show another example of how the Yoidesu stars work. I scrapped the idea for the latter reason for the previous idea and going to execute passing stars in the future. Silent Night, Chaotic Night General Pit’s name is changed to General Godslayer, Dark Glacier’s name is changed to Tundra, Rachel’s name is changed to Karen (there was no reason for her name to be Rachel, I picked it then because it sounded girly) cause now, it seems too fitting. Karen’s potion would not sprout a castle, it does something else if enough light is on it: While writing this recently, I thought if it does nothing, then it pretty much removes the purpose of the Lakitus aside from them being an extra defense from the Fetalities. Maybe I’ll bring it back later. Falco seeing the castle in the sky and Daisy thought he’s being weird. They tend to bump heads (that I’m keeping) and Falco mocks her for thinking a flying castle in the Mushroom Kingdom never happens. Originally, the two went there because they discovered Falco’s curse. This is a part that I struggled with. Lakilester and Lakilulu were the ones who let Daisy and Falco know about the flying castle. Also I still wanted to keep them here, even with the revelation. It was Phosphora who said the line, “How exciting could the night be”, which would have prompted General Godslayer to appear to her. I kept struggling with the part as well. Peach was going to help the group get the castle back by giving winds for the wings, then she would hit the wall around her kingdom. Then she and Mario would have a bit of a heart to heart. Inspiring him to go travel. Phosphora was going to be crush by the castle only to be saved by Dixie’s piece, turning them into ghost because she has a connection (Wrinkly Kong). Popo was the reason why Krystal woke up, causing her to be pulled out of the dream. She got mad at him. Phosphora would have been a part of the group who saw Link exposed. With him scarred from it and bothered by the Gerudo, Zelda tell her to go somewhere else for the time being to train, hence her visit to Mario and Popo. This is the case, though, Zelda told her to leave so she can forget seeing Link like that. This is a small detail that was not mentioned, but to confirm the thoughts you may have had, Yeah, Laven did attempt to poison Krystal with the tea at the Study. Hence why a Toad was asleep there and why she wasn’t surprised that she fell asleep and not bother to check how much work she’s done. Not only did the tea have a sleeping effect, it also have a parasite inside. Which, this was not shown: a toad in pain because of the parasite. At one point, I thought about adding Kirby and Meta Knight in, but it didn’t felt right. An idea, but not confirm, for what are the stars and how they work Origin of the Magic Stars: Both stars were created by two wizards a long time ago, in a land distant from the Mushroom Kingdom and in war: one grew up in the depths of negativity and only saw the bad of the world, while the other grew up loving, seeing the good, despite the war. Naturally the bad guy wants to spread his evilness after the war ended, thinking that if he can never be happy, nobody can. The good wizard seeing his actions decide to go against him, trying to show him logic in what he's doing, only to show how equal in power they are. The bad wizard than tells him a sad back story about how his life is nothing but bad things happening or seeing people do bad and enjoying seeing others in pain. This cause his magic to grow stronger than the good wizard. Seeing there's nothing to persuade the other wizard, the good thought about his wife and family and what good they can do, thus his powers grew equal to the negative star, maybe a little more. At the turn, the wizard see no other option and took away the powers of the bad wizard and his own so that the evil wizards' powers will not be used for evil while his will be used to keep it at bay. He sealed them in two separate stars and have his magic keep the evil one away from anyone by making it go into the depts. of space so it's magic will not be used again. These stars travel through space and these became known as the Gaiaku and the Yoidesu Stars. How do they work: Gaiaku: Not many rules with this one. Simply gives the possessor great powers in magic with the catch of the powers corrupting them. It feeds off a person negativity and use it to give them powers or fuel anger or sadness that came from events in their past to get them encouraged to work for the star's cause. When it corrupts them, it will make them have the same intentions as the original bad wizard, to spread evil and eliminate good, and now since it's freed, it is more determined to seal away the Yoidesu more than ever, so it will never bother it again. Nana/Dark Glacier: A former part of the Ice Climbers, Nana or Dark Glacier like she is called now, has gotten part of the Gaiaku star and it changed her. From turning her into an adult to giving her strong magic powers relating to ice like what she had. It also made her evil-minded, giving her the persona of a smart villain, from ploting to commanding Tigers created by the Dark magic. As far as what is known, she more likely became influence after her fight with Popo. Pit: Former Captain of Palutena's Guard, now he is a general for the Gaiaku star. The piece made him a mute swordsmen that looks different from his cheerful looking self. He can be as gloomy, maybe more, than Dark Pit. The sword he use is enchanted with dark magic that may place a curse on his targets and after five minutes, it becomes inflamed and is stronger than before. Not only is he given a new sword, but he also have a new set of wings that resemble devil wings. Unlike his previous wings, he can fly with them, lasting longer than five minutes and like a pro. Like how he was when he was captain, he could command an army that he could create by his own star powers. Not only can his wings take him places, but for certain locations, he can transport himself by creating portals as well. This happened because he went through The Ritual believing Palutena set it up, not knowing Dark Glacier was the one who cut his wings off and set it up. Now he bares hatred towards Palutena, as well as any of the gods he remember. This hatred comes from the bad memories he had with Palutena and the rest of the gods he encounter, remembering full well the ritual, without knowing about Viridi being there, he now wants to fight back against anyone against him or any of the gods. Porky Minch: The antagonist from the last two Mother games, he was revitalized and has the Gaiaku star running his machine that can be a super defensive machine that goes fast or a super offensive form with the 8 mechanic spider legs, similar to how he was in Brawl. Someone had release him from his chamber and had given him the evil star piece: since he is already bad, it warped his mind a little and further drive his goal of taking over the world using the star to create his army. Secretly: he didn't have that big a piece, his evil nature just fed it well. Yoidesu: Works like a double-edge sword when it is broken apart and have not been activated, but when activated, a small piece of the star will have an equal power to if it is complete. When used before activation, it will most likely stream from it trying to protect the bearers when they are in danger, but when it happens by protection or on purpose, the bearers will either be curse with a negative trait, such as bad luck etc., or be drained of energy. This is temporary, but it is better to activate first than used regularly. To activate the star, the bearers must have physical contact with whom they pick to be their represented keys; this came from the good wizard thinking about his family, which is what gave him the strength to defeat his opponent. Back in the past, both the Yoidesu and Gaiaku were in full when they were sent out to be locked in stalemate. As of part two of Conspiracies, the Yoidesu is in five separate sections and in five females throughout the heroes universe. As for the Gaiaku, since it can be passed by the main handler, or Dark Glacier in this case, currently split between two people, (evilly whisper) for now. Peach: As a character who has been center stage in canon and non-canon games as well as a fighter in SSB, she has been through a lot, and her powers seemed to have a lot of steams with its main stream coming from her previous adventures at Vibe Island. She has powers to control the elements such as fire, water, air and thanks to the piece, earth. She can deflect and use any of them to attack and defend. Even use them to detect problems or events going on. She also has the ability to bring up any of the power up she needs or thinks about. She can also make herself made out of air to help her fly and be fast through the medium. She can also do this for water and fire, earth is a little difficult for her to do as it is too solid and she prefers free moving elements. She can also make water into solid platforms that anyone can stand on like it is a real platform. Her key is represented by Mario and he activated the piece by the hug they share one night. Daisy: Even though her piece is not activated, she does have the potential to bring greater fighting skills along with magic powers thanks to the piece, relating to flowers. Krystal: In the moments her piece was almost at full powers to when it is not activated, she has a few types of power: mind powers such as Foresight, create anything with her mind and Cryokinesis. She originally was going to have advance mind powers only, relating to her ability to sense distress signals through her mind, but than I thought I would be giving her God-powers which seems too much for a given small amount of powerful magic. To avoid this, I gave her the ability to create ice using her mind, even giving an idea as to how and why she got it. I am not trying to make her like Elsa, just avoid making a goddess-like being out of a small piece of a star. Funny enough, this can have a connection to the ice feature of her staff as seen from Starfox Adventures, however, I didn't grow up with the game and it's been a while since I've seen a let's play of it. It was only when I saw Krystal in Smash Bros. as an assist trophy and she has her staff that a connection was made. Kumatora/Hydrangea: When Hydrangea was by herself, she would face the consequences of using the piece without activating it, such as not having control over it as considerable the Piece is bigger than her body so it becomes a little frantic. Also, since she has no experience in any type of adventure, being young, her powers were based on the others bearer's powers and it is shown through the big bracelet she wears. When the star piece lands on Kumatora's head and she got it in her hand, it start to go into her body and now it adjusts to her body powers so the piece amplifies her PSI Powers, but for her, if she were to go on, it would eventually take a toll on her. As Hydrangea believes she is a better choice for the power and magic, despite the fact that she is still the true bearer of the piece. Dixie Kong/Phosphora: Dixie was enjoying the peace at hand once she knows the truth about her powers. With a lack of distraction from anything, Dixie was easily able to activate her piece thanks to being close to the Kongs, especially Diddy, whom are unaware of her new powers. What they are aware of was the new trees in the jungle, curtesy of Dixie as she was worried that someone from the Gaiaku side would attack so she added the trees to hide them all, which only attract small time people. By herself, she’s capable of manipulating all kinds of floral, mostly trees as she’s often surrounded by them, but can also control vines, flowers, so long as it’s from nature, she can make it do what she likes or mold it to what is needed. She also has the ability to transform into other animals and can change the natural size as well as send a strange form of animal, i.e., a giant spider or a tiny parrot. With the recent events going on, she feels as though she should be doing more than hide: she wondered what she can do with her powers but came short on ideas that would be unique to her as some of it could be similar to Daisy, though hers is more so seeds and trees with her own mix. Thanks to working with Phosphora, their powers are of both nature and lightning. Dixie still retains her ability to turn into other animals and summon them but they have the power as one. Which works well for Phosphora as it not only heals her curse from General Pit, but gets her back in the game. MLP:FIM: Forbidden Friendship: This is not a romance fic. just something I have been wanting to try. Also it is complete. The story with this one is Applebloom meeting Malbourne like how the first chapter described, only here, the reason why she is there, it's because she was bullied by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon about being a blank flank or getting a cutiemark that she didn't like (Now you know why I change it, also Bloom and Gloom did this much better). As you can tell, while writing the story, I made some changes, mostly regarding season 5, which I am not complaining, I love it as well as some of the changes. At first, I was afraid about how this one is going to be met, because I know some of the fandom's feelings towards Alicorn OCs but after posting the first few chapters, I start to feel confident in posting. Facts about Story: I thought of Malbourne having 6 unicorns and 6 pegasi for siblings, making him the 13th child of his family. The idea was change to him having one pegasus brother and a unicorn sister to avoid redundancy about how cruel his family is and how everyone is aiming for the birth of the Alicorn. Another idea that I thought of is a running gag of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon being abuse, even including a possible SAW reference (Blame South Park for the reference). The running gag was gotten rid of thanks to Crusaders of the Last Mark actually showing they are more than simple bully stereotypes. Facts about Battle, Siblings and Equines Here's the first idea for the ch., I thought of all of the Mane 6 going to ReproScape with Malbourne directing them where they go and helping AJ and Pinkie Pie get through the gate. Not only that, but also Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo follow them on her scooter to try to rescue Apple Bloom. The main job for the Mane 6 is to fight Malbourne's 12 other siblings, fighting 2 each with Rarity taking out 3 of them when she saw one of them threatening Sweetie Bell, leaving one for Fluttershy to fight. This was scrapped because well, I got rid of the 10 extra siblings to remove redundancy. This would simply be repetitive and take too long, not to mention I don't consider myself good at describing fight scenes. Another idea is simply having Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo going to ReproScape, by themselves, having the powers and capabilities of the Mane 6 along with Malbourne. I got the idea because I thought if Apple Bloom is in peril, why not have her two closest friends rescue her, leaving all of the Mane 6 and their families to fight against anyone trying to destroy Ponyville. This was scrapped for obvious reasons and I instead wondered why would Applejack leave two little fillies to go into danger to rescue her little sister, who she saw get kidnapped. This gave me the current idea that I kept because it works. Last idea that I have was Malbourne knowing two other colts who could be consider his friends or allies, even having the same names as his siblings except one of the original name was Cascade Mage. Malbourne would remove their Immoral Gems and introduce them to Ponyville where they meet Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo and be amazed by her Scooter. This is also where the word of a war against Equestria would come out and spread. I thought of Malbourne and Apple Bloom having 2 friends each, somewhat giving a small reflection to both their lives. I than thought about how in ReproScape, no one is friends with anybody and even if they have friends, it wouldn't be long until someone stab someone in the back, figurative or realistically. And here, I put them too willing to go with it to fit the Immoral Gem's evil influence. I decided to re-purpose the two as his siblings, thus still giving a reflection to Apple Bloom via siblings and a proper fighting scene. The reason why this one went through so many changes is because well these 3 original ideas just burst holes and didn't fit many of the characters involved, for awhile it stayed but it took me forever to change it to having Big Mac and AJ traveling to save their sister while their friends deal with an invading army towards Ponyville. Not only that, but the title of this chapter was different as well: it was long and I actually forgot what it was originally, but when I change the story to AJ and Big Mac going on the quest, I change it to Battle, Siblings and Equines to in a way fit the plot. All these former ideas would have made the chapter unnecessarily long and I want to make it interesting for you guys. ;) PreCure full series: The Unity Cures A long project that I am doing that I will require opinions on as I am a Hispanic, with no outside experience with Japanese culture aside from subbed anime. The story behind this start long ago, when the cures from Go! Princess Precure was just announced and shown, I thought about a unique group of warriors, that differ from the usual group as well as the main situation. When it comes to unique groups, I really mean different aspects such as a Cure who goes to daycare and one that attends college for one. Back when the idea first come out, Tori and Carol (Both unnamed at the time) they were pretty much the run-of-the-mill girls living in the city, both being the same age and in Middle School. They would have been somewhat similar to HeartCatch when it comes to design and character but I want to explore more using different types of people and girls. Also to clarify, both Tori and Carol can transform on their own but because they are on their own, they have limited power and energy to become warriors and change their physical forms. So to compromise, they stay warriors but keep the body structure. They can't be fully strong with small bodies, so expect them to transform together often. Their main Special Attack is the Regeneration Rings, it is where the Cures use their pendants to call out rings to surround the Andro-Beast and turn the beast back to normal. Flight calls her ring Sky while Lady call hers' Class, even when she is Rabbit. The reason why I call it Regeneration Rings because all of the Unity cures, even the ones that are to come, are able to call upon the rings using their pendants to turn the Andro-Beast back to normal. Sorry for this being short, I don't want to spoil too much. The Star Pendants is more based on Usagi’s pendant from Sailor Moon. Tori Teruko: I had an idea about the group that has to deal with unity, being very different from the usual types that are normally picked for Cure warriors. She can be described as wanting to help others using what she knows and can do. Meaning, even though she know nothing about Earth culture, she wants to protect Carol and keep an eye out for her in the city of Chikara. While there, she plans on protecting everyone, from the people in the Land of Twinkling Stars to those in Chikara against the villians. A main trait about her is she is determined to learn and help others but her problem is she only know traits from her homeland and know nothing about earth cultures aside from certain... facts. Another important note about Tori is she knows how to be a maid, like cook and clean and majority can easily transfer to where she is now. She didn't know it but it is because she is a cardinal fairy in a land where all the fairies are in some shape or form belong to the 12 animal types of the Chinese Zodiac. She didn't fit in so they assign her all the classes that would teach her how to do the jobs no one wants to do so she can take it instead of the others. For Tori, I got inspiration from Seiren turning into Cure Beat. But I wanted her to freely change from being a fairy to be a human warrior. I try to go for head-strong, good heart character that wants to help others. More to come, also mainly it is Cure Beat that gave me the idea and no one else and DON'T REMIND ME ABOUT THE OTHER ONE. One night she turn into a human and it seems she only transform back into a cardinal when she transform by herself. But since the meeting with the Queen and her learning about what happened to her, she bless Tori with the ability to change forms freely: which is something the fairies can do but not for long unless they have some kind of help. Cure Flight: Mainly a physical attacker, she has a body of a fourteen-year-old human. When she transform with Carol with their star pendants, she changes from a bird fairy to a human. If she transforms by herself, she stays a bird but is still known as Flight, and in this form, she has Ox like strength and great speed to keep herself safe in battle. Carol Momiji: This one mainly comes from the younger characters in the animes I was able to see. Namely Ami Hinamori from Shugo Chara and Pop Harukaze from the Ojamajo Doremi series. Neither are even close to my favorites list as Ami, although cute like many four-year-olds can be somewhat annoying, but this is pretty much just me. Cure Lady/Rabbit: A lightweight, fourteen-year-old looking warrior whose strength lies on her defense. She use a parasol to fight and defend by creating shields with it. She turns into Cure Lady when she transform with Tori and have their star pendants. However, when she is all by herself, she doesn't have the energy or power to turn into a teenager but she can still transform but has to go under a new name thanks to her four-year-old body structure. While she is Rabbit, she dress the same as Lady but has rabbit ears and tail. Her main power of defense is gone but she has her speed to get out of tight situations and in this form she has great jumping skills. She is mainly adorable and powerless against villains in this form. Fun Fact: I originally gave her third identity the name Cure Bunny, to describe her adorableness and small body type with great jumping skills. I change Bunny to Rabbit because the more I thought about the name Bunny, the more I thought about the symbol for Playboy and I did not want to associate a four-year with Playboy symbolism. I still want the name to connect to the animal, so I made the change to remove the thought away from here. Rant Time: Read at your own risk as this is my opinion. After this I get back to what I'm saying. As for Pop, I didn't really like her all that much, I thought she was cute for a bit but I didn't really like her character all that much throughout the whole series why because to me, she seems more like a reason why Doremi's life sucks so much as well as an absolute Mary Sue. I mean, all of her friends and Doremi's friends are supportive of her, all good things happen and she seemed so responsible and doesn't get anything wrong her way. And all those times where she seemed "concern" for her big sister really ticks me off as it can be reasonable if the person is crippled or too old or young to take care of themselves, but when she does it, it just seems to grate me because she just wants to belittle Doremi, making me want to support Doremi more, despite some of the bad things that happens to her is clearly her fault, and I would relate to more Hadzuki but I don't really like her all that much either, not on the level of Doremi or Pop. Back to the major topic, just because I did not find many likable little girls, doesn't mean I don't think they don't exist. The reason for that being is one, I grew up watching PowerPuff Girls, it has three likable little girls, all age five. There is also the CMC from Friendship is Magic, though majority of the time, they are hit or miss when it comes to liking but I do like them as characters with motivations. Even though it is an American cartoon and not anime, I still believe that there are little children, young age can not be annoying or grating. For Carol, I got the idea from Cure Muse and Cure Ace, both being young and being mature. Another source that I got the idea was that episode from Smile Precure where all of the girls, including Wolfrun and Oni were turned into little kids. I thought about a little girl, age 4, who becomes a teenager to fight better and throughout the story, she becomes mature while she is still trying to be a cute kid, not only because of her transformation into a teenager and hanging out with people older than she is, but her family situation in a way makes her want to mature and learn as soon as she can. Hoshi Ayano: A college student who saw both Flight and Lady as they are fighting previously while at the Treats by the Season. She found a star pendant, similar to both Tori and Carol's, shortly after she saw them in action. One of her hobbies include taking pictures of nature and birds. My inspiration of her comes from the side character, Masuko Miyo, from Happiness Charge PreCure: I thought it would be interesting to have an adult as a Cure without becoming young and I figure if she is based of a journalist, I think she should have a hobby in photo taking. Not only that but I also thought of her being the inverse of how some of the previous yellow Cures being the youngest, such as Cure Muse, Lemonade and Luminous. Cure Film: She attacks mainly hand-to-hand and can use her pendant to freeze the bad guys in place such as both grunts or small Andro-Beast. Her powers will be based off some of her hobbies or what she does. She can transform on her own, because she doesn't need to change her physical form to fight and can fight on her own terms. I got the idea from Cure Moonlight, being the oldest, active, Cure warrior out of all of them and it got me thinking about another Cure, perhaps one in college. Cure Flower also gave me a similar idea but I wanted her to transform more often and was shown how she got her transformation item. Gathered details Similar to Fortune, Aqua was at one point going to be captured along with Dream as to show Philis’s fascination with water-themes but I eventually decided against it as there’s not much I’m going to do with this and the original route that I did had in mind, wasn’t going to cut it so I make it so Dream sacrificed herself and help her fellow Cures, including Aqua, get far away from the Beast that was designed to capture Souls. -Ch. 14 Ch. 11- 12: Notes/Changed Details/Scraped Ideas New Details For those who notice, suspect, or miss the certain details in the story, you would see that the species of the Land of Twinkling Stars are resembling to the Chinese Zodiac Animals: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. For most, their classes go under a different title, such as Tiger-Felines, Snakes- Serpentines, Horse-Equines, Goat-Ovis, Monkey-Simians, Rooster-Chicken, Dog-Canis, and Pig-Boar. For the groups that are changed, it is that way because I wanted the population to be more expansive, examples being more fairies than Tigers and Dogs, and add other types like Wolves, Cats, Hens, Sheep, etc. There's some I can stretch to fit these into categories, but some I cannot. Funnily enough, originally, the land would have had a free fairy range, as any fairy would be any animal, but after the creation of Chau, I thought, hey a fairy that is a Monkey, a Mouse, and a Dragon and in a land that's mainly outer space themed. I would like to describe the land as having loopy sizes: the land is big and wide, the fairies are small enough to fit into a purse or bag and many to all don't have the ability to fly without the Gravity Players. To somewhat give connection to earth, many places are about the size of average humans, and many of them would have an above ground basement. Also, fun fact, in the scene with Hoshi and Ford (the ox fairy) she's able to see inside his fifth story office while Carol's banging reach up to the second floor. Scrapped Details At the Seller's Peninsula, there would have been a scene after Carol went running from the candy. It start by Tori saying that the candies were tested on by Rabbits and Hoshi would get mad at her for saying it so casually. She would be met by a rabbit couple who willingly work as test subjects and get mad at her. I thought of this being a way to show more of Hoshi's interest aside from photography and being a college student. During the process, I found this to be unpleasant and would ruin the "Pony-Wish" scenario later. A major piece, actually it was the original centerpiece, of the section would be about the "education" Tori has and the results from it. However, I felt as though I am packing a lot in the ch. enough and would go back to it another time. Changed Items Originally, this chapter would have been called "The Glittering City in the Twinkling Land": I changed it to its current title cause one, I felt as though it is a bit long and the main reason, I felt as though it would give a clue on what the chapter is about and I didn't want the particular message to be spoiled or hinted. At one point, the book would fly to the Land rather than stay where it is but it never grew on me and I felt it was more of a setback. The Gravity Player would have been at one point a Broom Box, where the fairies can keep it as a box and use it to turn it into a flying broomstick. I thought this is too reference to Maho Tsukai PreCure and kinda limited: when I stuck with the Gravity Player name, I figure I can do more with it but it will be displayed later. Original Ideas for entire story Tori and Carol were just run-of-the-mill normal humans, 13 years-old, each with their own interests and live in the city. This was at the very beginning of conception and I scrapped it because I didn’t come up with enough interesting ideas for it and you can tell I didn’t have that much ideas with how the original villains names being Butler and BodyBuilder. I wanted to do more out there theme so I change the girls to what they are now and I try to make this story out there but also serious. All of the captured Cures were going to be birds, like fletchings, cardinals, blue jays, etc. and it would be up to our two average girls to save them all as PreCure. Would they save them all while keeping them secret and not become helpless birds themselves while going to school? I found this too either convoluted or too boring for me to use and there would have been where Nagisa turn back into a human in time for her brother to be there looking for her only for her to have no memory at all, just her main name. See how convoluted this is and with a huge lack of ideas, this was all stuck. And this might have been shown in the "Pretty Cure: All Stars Memories" where all the cures, except for two, are turned into babies and it's up to them to fight the bad guy and avoid being turned into babies themselves. I haven't seen it myself but from the premise, I can't help but feel that way. Lastly, which some of you might be aware of, the chapter “Repetitious Rescue”, like the name implies, this would have been mainly the fairies and families getting their Cures and or those vulnerable to their respective worlds: like how the latter half of “Snap, Show, Share”, “Splashy Take and Rescue”, the latest similar chapter in the series and the rest, all in one chapter. I’m my own editor so I didn’t have anyone tell me that this was a bad idea and it was while writing that I realize that I don’t like it like this and if I don’t like it, how can I expect my audience to like it. So I change the format and based on the chapter views, I think you guys like it too. |
