Alright! Here's chapter 4! The story is NOT dead I promise. I see that more reviews are up. I appreciate all of them! Hearing what you guys think helps me to write better chapters and stories in the future! Steel sharpens steel as they say. But enough of the Ryu monologuing, here's the next chapter!
Revision as of 5/11: Lilith stays in the Owl House along with Eda. Will be reflected in earlier chapters when necessary to avoid continuity errors.
Another Xover is also in the works! It'll be a pretty short one though. Will probably be uploaded all at once. It's a Spectacular Spider-Man, TMNT 2003 story. Expect to see this one uploaded and finish eventually.
The next morning on the Boiling Isles was a…. surprising one to say the least for everyone except Danny and Luz.
"Good morning Daniel. And company." Vlad said casually.
"Sorry but I don't remember any of us extending you a warm welcome." Tucker told him, frowning.
"Yeah. Why are you here Vlad?" Jazz asked.
"Guys, listen. I know it sounds fishy, and I still don't 100 percent trust him either but we decided to make a temporary alliance last night. We help each other get out of here and that's it." Danny told them.
"Still doesn't explain how or why he's even in the Boiling Isles in the first place." Sam said.
Still yawning from just waking up, Eda enters the room. "Good morning everyone." She notices a conversation happening with what seems to be a new guest.
"Okay. Who's this guy?" Eda asked.
"Good morning. My name is Vlad Masters. Luz told me that I am welcome to stay here. Of which I am entirely grateful. But I am sure that this realm is just as, if not more grateful to have your beauty grace it every day." Vlad says as he kisses her hand.
"Thanks. Eda Clawthorne. I don't think I've ever met a guy this nice to me before." Eda said, smiling.
A bit too nice if you ask me. Eda thought.
"Good morning all, Eda." Lilith said, sporting a still tired face.
Vlad turned to Lilith.
"And who might this be?" Vlad said with a grin.
"Lilith Clawthorne. I don't think we've met." Lilith told him.
"Yep, this is my sister. Unfortunately." Eda said in a joking manner.
"It isn't every day that I meet two lovely women. My name is Vlad Masters. If my world's morals were based off of you and your sister's beauty, it would absolutely be perfect." Vlad said, also kissing his hand.
"Oh. Thank you." Lilith said, giggling a little as she blushed.
Danny had a look that showed that he was a little annoyed with Vlad's "gentleman act."
"If we can focus on the ghost running free here." Danny said.
"Right, down to business Daniel. I like it. As you all probably already know a ghost is running free across the Boiling Isles. As requested by Danny's parents I came here to find a way to get him out. But, after learning that there's a ghost here, I have chosen to assist in the capture of this ghost and bring Danny home to his family safe and sound."
"Morning guys. Eda, there's-" Luz started before seeing Vlad.
"I see you two have already met." Luz said.
"Vlad, make yourself at home. Explore the isles if you'd like. I've got to talk to Luz for a little bit." Eda told Vlad.
"With pleasure." Vlad said.
"Uh, if you guys don't mind me asking is there anywhere we can get something to eat around here?" Tucker asked.
"How about I give it a try? I've learned a few human food recipes from Luz and Eda during the time that I've spent here." Lilith asked.
"As long as it isn't filled with bugs sign me up!" Tucker said.
"I wouldn't mind giving it a try as well." Vlad said.
"Breakfast does sound pretty good about now." Danny said.
As Lilith tries her hand at making Pancakes and sausage with eggs with some of the ingredients that Eda found during her trips to the human realm, Eda talks with Luz.
"Does something feel off about this guy to you? I don't like him. He seems too nice." Eda asked.
"Yeah actually. He's one of those bad guys that seems to have a charming personality to hide how evil he is. I overheard a conversation between him and Danny." Luz said.
"So if he's a bad guy why's he here to help?" Eda asked.
"Danny and Vlad made a deal. He helps him capture the ghost and they both find a way out. His parents asked Vlad to find him." Luz told Eda.
"I see. I'll keep an eye on him for now. I don't like that guy being around my sister." Eda told her.
"Sounds like a plan." Luz said excited.
After about 20 or so minutes, breakfast was finished.
"Hey Lilith, this stuff is great!" Luz complimented. Everyone else agreed in mouthfuls, except Vlad.
"I have to agree with Ms. Noceda. For a first time cook of our recipes, it is absolutely delicious." Vlad told her.
"Thank you. It was nothing at all." Lilith said, blushing at Vlad after his comment.
"Hey Eda, you got this stuff from the human world. You check the expiration date on this stuff, right?" Luz asked.
"The what now?" Eda asked.
"The numbers on the box or packaging of the food. Usually it'll say 'best by', 'serve by' or something similar and then a set of numbers by it somewhere. If it's past that date, usually the food isn't good to eat. You haven't been looking at that?" Luz said.
"Of course not. Time logic in the demon realm and human realm is completely different here. Besides, the food that I've sold hasn't made anyone sick…. I think." Eda said.
"So there's a chance that we could all get sick and not even know it? There are too many games that I still have to play before I die." Tucker said.
"Don't worry guys, we won't get sick. You just have to stay positive." She paused after that, trying to smile but stopped.
"Aw who am I kidding, I don't want to die either! I still need to read the next Good Witch of Azura book!" Luz said.
"Care to join me in wallowing about all the things you haven't done in life in case this is our end?" Tucker asked Luz.
"Sure. Mind if I start first?" Luz asked him.
"Go ahead, ladies first." Tucker told her.
"I never got to finish all of the Good Witch Azura books, watch the last season of Attack on Titan, or see how the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would turn out!" Luz said hysterically.
"I never got to see the rest of Invincible or finish my video game bucket list!" Tucker said.
"What's on your bucket list?" Luz asked.
"My bucket list, oh boy where do I start? Wait, you watch the Marvel movies?" Tucker asked.
"Heck yeah! What's going on with the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now? What's happening with the Spider-Man movies?" Luz asked.
"Well apparently there's going to be a crossover between Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland." Tucker told her.
"Bully Maguire is back? I can't wait to make Maguire memes." Luz said excitedly.
This went on for a while as you could imagine.
"Honestly, I enjoyed the Maguire trilogy even more because of the memes."
"Did you think 3 was a good movie?"
"It was okay. Black suit Spidey will always look cool to me."
"The evil dance scene. So bad it's funny."
"At least it spawned some legendary memes. 'Gonna cry?'"
"Gonna put some dirt in your eye."
"My gaming bucket list if you may ask. Dead Rising, the Mega Man X Collection…"
As Luz and Tucker continued talking, Danny informs Vlad about Penelope.
"Her name is Penelope. She preys on the negative emotions of others. And what better age group to do that with than moody teenagers. We're looking for her to be somewhere around Hexside Academy."
Luz and Tucker walk to the door, to which the others follow.
"Well, I've got to get to school." Luz tells everyone, Tucker mostly. "Tucker, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship." Luz says as the door opens, revealing Gus, Willow and Amity.
"You said it!" Tucker told her. The two high-five each other.
"Hey guys!" Luz greeting the three.
"What's up Luz? Ready to go?" Gus asked.
"Heck yeah! I'm always up for another adventure!" Luz told them.
"Onward! To Hexside and beyond!" Luz yelled triumphantly, pointing towards the sky as she does so.
And the search for Penelope begins! Next chapter will be up soon! I can't exactly guarantee a date when it'll be there but I should have less of an issue finding time to write stories with school being out.
