A/N: So, you thought that was the end, right? Well it was, but there's more! If you've been reading the Alien Rising story, which I have been uploading chapters in tandem with, then you'll have better context of why this is happening. If you haven't read, you can read it to find out!
Its another beautiful morning in the Boiling Isles. With Danny and the others gone, Luz and her friends can return to school with no problem. At the moment, however, Luz has yet to wake up for school.
A portal suddenly opens. Four figures suddenly come out of it. One of them being an alien who looks to be made of complete diamonds wearing a black and white shirt. Two of them are girls who were pulling on a book. The last figure to come out was a man with a camera in his hand.
"Let go!" The girl with orange hair and blue sweater with a cat on the center of it said.
"No, you let go!" The girl with long silver hair in a ponytail wearing a purple robe said.
"There's no way I'm letting this book go Charmcaster!" The orange-haired girl said.
"I'm no letting go of it either Gwenny!" The silver-haired girl shot back.
"My name is Gwen! Stop calling me that!"
"Gwenny!"
"Charmy!"
Suddenly the book ripped in half. Both of them gasped.
Before the two could say anything else, a woman had fell out of the portal next. A giant wasp with long sabretooth-like teeth and a gorilla with the body of a bear had came out of it next.
The animals had begun to attack the group, pouncing on the woman that had come out of the portal first. She screamed before a man had picked up a bowling ball had rolled it at the gorilla's feet, tripping it before, throwing a baseball bat at its head. He then kicks it in the chest into the portal, off balance because of it and falls on top of Rebecca. The diamond alien sends the wasp into the portal by shooting crystals out of its hands.
"Whoops." The man with the camera said.
"Of course I'm here to catch you when you fall." The woman said.
"Yeah, after I saved you. A thank you would be nice."
"Sure, thanks for saving me and landing right on top of me afterwards."
"Sorry about that. But who says landing on top of you is a bad thing Rebecca?"
"You're saying we should do this more often, Frank?"
"Couldn't hurt."
The two were smiling at one another. "Ew." The alien and the two girls all said together at once.
"We just got attacked by giant mutant animals and this is what you two do? Adults are kinda weird with this love stuff." The diamond alien said.
"Agreed." Gwen and Charmcaster said together. They looked at each other, disgusted that they agreed with the other on something.
"Agreeing with you? Never." Both girls said simultaneously.
"Stop saying what I'm saying!" They said together again.
"Copycat!" The two said together again, before getting into each other's faces angry.
Frank had got up from off the woman and had looked around. The portal had closed.
"Hey, it's not like that. We're partners." Frank said.
"Co-workers. We're working together on this case." Rebecca said.
The diamond alien raised one part of its head above its eye. Its version of an eyebrow raise.
"Where the heck are we?" Frank had asked, not trying to change the subject but genuinely curious.
"I don't know, but wherever we are, it looks like we're going to be stuck here for a while." The diamond alien said.
Luz had opened the door, ready to head to Hexside.
"Alright Eda I'm off to-" Luz had started before noticing the four people and one diamond-headed alien in front of her.
"What is going on?" Luz had asked. Confused was the best way to describe how she was feeling.
"We're stuck here? This is all your fault!" The two had said simultaneously again.
A/N: And that's it! This is a snippet preview for the next story! A triple crossover of Ben 10, Dead Rising and the Owl House! This will probably be a short read to finish off the Alien Rising story. Probably not a super short read, but don't expect it to be super long. And that's all folks!
