Marcy woke up. It...must've been a dream...but it felt so real...

Marcy tried getting up, but she forgot she couldn't walk. She fell off the bed and couldn't get herself back up.

"Mom! Dad! I fell! Can I get a hand?" Marcy yelled, hoping they'd be in the living room.

No answer.

I think I need to call Anne...

Anne was sitting in her room, watching a show, when she got a call from Marcy.

"Hey Mar Mar, what's up?"

"Hey, I...kinda fell...and I can't get up...soo...can you come over and help?"

"I'm on my way!"

"Thanks Anna Banana! I knew I could count on you! Love you!"

"Love you too! See ya in a bit!" Anne made a kiss sound over the phone and hung up. She went downstairs. It was supposed to rain later, so she brought her umbrella just in case she got caught in the rain.

Once she got to Marcy's house, she noticed the car was gone. So, are neither of her parents home right now?

She tried to open the door, but it was locked. Anne's had to deal with this before. Thankfully, Marcy always kept her window unlocked, so all she needed was a ladder, and she knew there was one behind the house. She grabbed the ladder, set it and climbed to the window and opened it.

She went inside and helped Marcy onto the bed.

"Thank you Anne..." Marcy said with a little smile.

"Hey, no problem. Glad to help..." Anne couldn't help but look into Marcy's eyes. So beautiful...

"I...also need to tell you something else...I don't know if it was just a dream or if it was a message, but...I saw Bill Cypher..."

Anne's heart nearly stopped.

"Are you serious?"

"Yea, I thought I'd tell you...he seemed to know a lot...too much..."

"Whatever you do, Marcy, don't let him get to you..."

"I won't...I promise..."

Anne sat on the bed by Marcy.

"Oh yea, I was watching a show before I came over," Anne said. "Wanna...maybe...watch it?" Why am I getting so nervous?

"Sure, Anne..."

Anne looked further into Marcy's eyes and gave her a kiss. She then grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. Marcy's parents probably won't be home for most of the day, which was perfect for them.

Anne couldn't help but think of when she finally confessed her feelings to Marcy, when she thought she was gonna lose her again...

I'm just glad she's okay...

Marcy couldn't help but feel like she was starting to become a burden on Anne. She also thought about what Bill Cypher said...she was trying to atone for her own mistakes. After all, she trapped her friends in Amphibia, and she was manipulated by King Andrias...but she also knew she can't trust Bill Cypher because he's bad news.

She wasn't sure why Bill Cypher came to her in the first place. Was it because he perceives me as weak minded?

Meanwhile, Luz, Amity and Dipper were traveling for about an hour when they made a quick rest stop at a gas station. They each went to the bathroom and got some drinks, since it was getting hot. They were soon on their way, and it didn't take long for them to find Las Vegas.

"Okay, we're here," Dipper said. "Now we just need to find the rift. The scanner says it's this way."

Amity took the invisibility spell off them and they walked towards where the scanner said the rift was. They passed a few casinos. The lights captivated Amity, as she had never seen anything like it.

They passed through the red light district, where they saw some women waiting by the road to get picked up. There was more than one occasion where someone got mugged. Luz wasn't sure she wanted to be here much longer.

After about half an hour of walking through Vegas, Dipper was actually able to see the rift that was forming. It was about the size of a football, and growing.

"Okay, we gotta contain it..."

Dipper tried going for it, but something knocked him back.

"What's wrong?" Luz said.

"I can't get close enough to contain it," Dipper said.

"Let me try," Amity said. "Just tell me how it works."

After Dipper explained how it works, Amity used her staff to fly directly above the rift, and flew towards it at high speed, using the device to trap the rift in an orb.

"Good job, Ami!" Luz excitedly ran over and hugged Amity. Amity blushed at Luz, causing Luz to blush back at her.

"I just figured I needed to approach it at a much higher speed so it isn't knocking me back," Amity said.

"Now, we just need to find out what caused this rift to form," Dipper said.

As Dipper said this, a figure approached.

"Dipper?"

Dipper looked at the man standing before him and couldn't believe his eyes...

"Grunkle Ford?"

"Wait, I thought you said your Grunkle Ford was dead?" Amity said.

"He was! I mean..." This was hurting Dipper's brain.

"Let me explain...I came from an alternate universe...one of a near infinite amount of alternate universes in the multiverse."

"That explains the rift..." Dipper said. He showed Ford the orb containing the rift.

"You're using my tech? It's impressive you can work it."

"Yea, you taught me...I mean, the Ford from this universe taught me...but...he passed away recently..."

"So, I'm dead in this universe?"

"Yea...sorry you had to find out like this..."

"Well...in the dimension I came from...I was...the only survivor..." Ford looked down.

Dipper couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"What happened?" Dipper asked.

"Bill Cypher..."
