Bill Cipher, possessing Anne's body, tied Marcy up and dragged her into the basement. He stumbled around, trying to get used to his new body. I've never possessed a girl before...this is weird...
As he walked down the street in his new body, he began to realize that Anne had some hidden power. These must be her Calamity Powers, huh? And I think I know where the box is...
Bill stepped into a pawn shop and swiped a pair of sunglasses without the cashier noticing. Such oblivious fools...he was able to access a lot of Anne's memories, so he knew where her other friend Sasha was. Over the course of ten years, he's gotten better at mimicking people's voices. Perhaps I can use that to my advantage...
Bill arrived at Sasha's. He found it a bit difficult to knock on the door. He wasn't used to having such long limbs. He managed to knock and Sasha came out.
"Hey Anne...why do you got sunglasses on?"
"I, uh, have a bit of a migraine...but enough about that...Marcy's missing!"
"What?"
"We gotta find Dipper and have him help us!"
"I think I know where they are! Follow me!"
Sasha ran out the door. Bill was having a hard time keeping up with her, the limbs on Anne's body flailing around uncontrollably. How the hell does this girl get around?
They reached the library. Dipper called Sasha before, saying they would be at the library after closing time. Sasha still had a lot of homework to do, which is why she originally didn't come, but now that Anne came by and said Marcy was missing, Sasha had to go now.
When they arrived at the library, they noticed the door was open. Sasha and the possessed Anne walked in, and saw that Dipper, Ford, Luz and Amity were standing in front of a book shelf in the far corner of the library. Ford took out a book and the book shelf slid to the right, revealing a hidden room.
"How long have you known this was here?" Sasha asked.
"I made it," Ford said. "At least, this universe's version of me did...but I'm glad it's in the same place so I can use it."
"You made your own hideout in the library?" Amity said. "I had one in the Bonesburough Library, but that was given to me when I started working there."
"It was many years ago...I worked at this same library, and...in my spare time after work, I would build this hideout in secret, just in case...anyway, it should be safe to talk about anything in here. I completely soundproofed the whole room."
"So, you say Marcy is missing?" Dipper said.
"Yea, I've been looking everywhere for her..." Bill said, imitating Anne. "I was only able to find her phone..."
"Do you think Bill may have had something to do with this?" Luz asked.
"No doubt in my mind..." Bill had to resist the urge to smile.
"Okay, so I have the rift here," Dipper said, holding the orb with the rift inside. "I need to bring it to my lab to fully close it, but it's late so for now it's safe in here. Now, we need to search around for Marcy."
Bill looked at the rift. It's still too small...I need to wait a bit longer...
Marcy woke up on the floor, her wrists and ankles tied up and her mouth covered with tape. I couldn't reach Anne in time...she struggled in vain to get out of her restraints. She layed down in defeat.
I'm so sorry, Anne...if I hadn't snapped at you, maybe...
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed there was a machete on top of a box in the corner of the room. Maybe if I can get to it...
She made an attempt to move her body. She slowly but surely made her way forward on her belly to the box. It was too high though. She used her face to knock the box over, the machete landing on the floor. She made her way over to the machete. She positioned herself and attempted to cut the rope around her wrists. The ropes were tough, but Marcy managed to cut through. She cut the ropes around her ankles, ripped the tape off of her mouth and yelled out.
"Help! Anyone? I'm in the basement!"
No response.
She saw an old wheelchair in the corner of the room. She crawled over to the wheelchair and attempted to get up, but her legs were too weak to support her. If I can just...get up...she struggled harder and harder, until she was able to gather enough strength to pull herself on to the wheelchair. The problem now was how was she gonna get out of the basement?
She attempted yelling out one more time to see if anyone was upstairs.
"Hello? I'm down in the basement! Help!"
"Who's down there?"
The door opened and Anne's mom came down.
"Mrs. Boonchuy, I got locked down here!"
"Wait, by who?"
"It's...hard to explain...we need to hurry and warn the others!"
Mrs. Boonchuy helped Marcy up the stairs, out of the house and into the car. She then ran back in and came out with the wheelchair and put it in the back and drove off.
While Mrs. Boonchuy was driving, Marcy called Sasha on Mrs. Boonchuy's cellphone. Sasha stepped out of the hideout.
"Hello?"
"It's Marcy!"
"Marcy? Where the hell are you? We've been looking all over for you?"
"Is Anne there?"
"Yea, she was trying to find you before..."
"Listen to me! That isn't Anne!"
"What do you mean it isn't Anne?"
"It's Bill! Whatever you do, don't let him get close to the rift!"
Sasha froze in place. She slowly looked into the hideout at Anne. The sunglasses...the weird way she's been walking today...she was somewhat suspicious before, but it suddenly hit her...
This was all a trick...
Sasha walked over towards what she thought was Anne.
"Hey bestie! I just need to get something. Can I get by you real quick?"
"Sure thing...bestie..."
Sasha walked past, grabbing a brush she didn't need, and then grabbed the sunglasses off Anne's face.
"Well, well...looks like you figured me out..." Bill let out an evil laugh as he turned Anne's head toward Sasha, revealing his eyes.
