I have some pretty bad news. Reality and college professors are giving Eight a hard time right now so the next STC chapter is going to have to wait a long time. Good news, Eight is almost finished with LnL. So look forward to that.

Um I have been recently told that posting messages instead of chapters is in violation of guidelines, so Eight asked me to move her message here:

Really, sorry doesn’t begin to express how bad I feel… but I felt like I couldn’t keep you guys hanging for so long for Chapter 29 without some word. Rest assured, I have NOT abandoned the story. It’s just that classes have begun again compounded by the fact that we are at the very end of this season, and I want so much for it to be good. I have little to no regrets about the ending of STC Season 1, and I want to feel the same way about Season 2. The problem is that due to that hiatus before the end of Season 1’s last three chapters, I had about six months to a year to rewrite and rewrite and rewrite those chapters until they fit my expectations of myself and the story. I won’t make you guys wait that long (knock on wood), but I do want very badly to make sure the last chapters aren’t crap. We’ve gone through so very much angst and frustration (“Serena’s the princess, dammit! Just kiss already!”), and I really want it all to have been worth it. I will try very very hard to finish 29 as soon as possible, but if all goes well, I would like to post all the last chapters in very quick succession, which means finishing them all before beginning to post.

So, again, I apologize, and thank you so much to everyone for sticking with STC so far! I know it’s not much, but I can offer a brief preview from one of the next chapters if you go to the STC website, which you can reach via a link on Jade’s profile. There’s also an update to The Size of Her Socks.
