And I'm back with the next chapter of World Defense Force. Sorry if I didn't posted two more chapters on that same day when I said I'm posting four chapters on that day. But, for now, I'll be introducing Normal Earth, so this will be fun. Let's go there and see what it's like, shall we?

Normal Earth
Normal Earth. This is a place where it looks a lot like a city. Skyscrapers, malls, houses, apartments, busy streets, etc. But, we go to a house, where we see a man coming out of the house.
This man has red hair and wears glasses. He wears a gray long-sleeve shirt, gray pants and black shoes. This is Arnold Poindexter.
"My name is Arnold Poindexter. And I'm a violinist...and a nerd. Throughout most of my stay here, I tried to study the way of violins. And, if I say so myself, had become more confident here lately. I start out as a shy and awkward, but however, I overcome it and became more outgoing. And so, here I am, in Normal Earth, where I'm about to start my violin debut."
Arnold walks to the concert building, and he saw two females waiting outside.
The first one has purple hair and brown eyes. She wears a black long-sleeve dress, white almost-to-the-knee socks and red sneakers. This is Kei Shindou.
The second female is similar to Kei, but has an eye patch on her left eye, and she wears the same clothing as Kei, except for black dress shoes. This is Chihiro Shindou.
"Morning to you two." Arnold said.
"Oh, hey. Wasn't expecting you here." Kei said.
"I have a concert to do, what are you talking about?" Arnold asked.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot. Listen, if you want me to be your friend, then I suggest pucker up. Because so far I'm not seeing that in you." Kei said.
"I know, I know. But hey, I'm doing my best at least." Arnold said.
"That's true." Chihiro said.
"Anyways, good luck." Kei said.
"I will. Thank you." Arnold then goes into the building.
"You think he's gonna be okay?" Chihiro asked.
"Don't know." Kei said.
Meanwhile, Mio Naganohara and Sana Kurata were walking in the mall.
"So, let me guess, if you guys wanna do some karaoke, I should suggest that you do some more, you know, actual singing?" Mio said.
"What are you even talking about, I know how to sing properly." Sana said.
"Uh huh." Mio said.
"You hadn't been to any concerts of mine yet!" Sana said.
"Okay, you got me. Fair enough." Mio said.
Sana smiled. "That's good."
"What did I do to make myself tick?" Mio thought.
"Morning." A female came to them.
This female has gray hair and green eyes. She wears a light blue short-sleeve shirt, brown vest, blue checker-pattern skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown shoes. This is Ichiko Sakura.
"Oh, hello. And you are?" Mio asked.
"My name is Ichiko Sakura."
"Mio Naganohara. And this is Sana Kurata."
"Nice to meet you." Sana said.
"So, what are you guys up to?" Ichiko asked.
"We were just talking about Sana's karaoke thing." Mio said.
"Karaoke, huh? Could I join?" Ichiko asked.
"Absolutely." Sana said.
"Perfect. When will it be?" Ichiko asked.
"Sometime tonight." Sana said.
"I'll be there." Ichiko said.
"Sounds good. See ya." Sana said.
"See ya then." Ichiko walks off.
"She is a weird one." Mio whispered to herself.
"What do we do now?" Sana asked.
"How about we try that arcade right there?" Mio said, pointing at the arcade in the mall.
"Perfect. Let's go." Sana said.
They both go in. A man saw them go in.
This man has a dark skin tone and black hair. He wears a gray long-sleeve jacket, gray pants and brown shoes. This is U.N. Jefferson.
"That one looks like fun." Sana said.
"Let's check it out." Mio said.
They have gone into the arcade, out of Jefferson's sight. Jefferson sighed, then he heard a ring. He grabbed his phone and called.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!" A voice from the phone yelled.
"How about don't call me when you're mad? I hate that at times." Jefferson said.
"I'm sorry, but I have a deadline to meet."
"Oh God, this again? Look, I have some problems to take care of myself, and so I need to figure out what I'm doing."
"Dammit. Alright, fine. But I won't forgive you for this."
"I'll blame you later."
"Wait what?"
Jefferson hung up. "I hate nerds."
In a house, we see a man with brown hair and glasses looking at his phone in an awkward way. He wears a white and brown checkered t-shirt, beige pants and brown shoes. This is Lewis Skolnick.
"Man. I'm trying to get your attention. Man. My speech is coming up soon in like…" Lewis checks his watch. "2 hours."
"What is going on in two hours?" A female came to Lewis.
This female has waist-length, straight brown hair that has two pink bow ties that pulls her hair back and brown eyes. She wears a white and blue long-sleeve shirt, blue skirt, blue almost-to-the-knee socks and brown dress shoes. This is Tohru Honda.
"I have a speech to do in 2 hours, and I needed U.N. Jefferson's help, but all of a sudden, he hung up." Lewis said.
"Well, I'm sorry." Tohru said.
"No. You're fine. My speech might be terrible anyways."
"Did you have something written down so I can see it?"
"No. I have it all in my head."
"Then why ask for his help if there's nothing to look at?"
"Okay, you know, my speech might not be written in paper, but I feel like I need some type of help."
"Yeah, that might not happen."
"Oh, come on! Seriously?!"
"You don't have to yell."
"I was destined to do this speech, and yet, nobody's gonna listen. Alright." Lewis puts his foot on a stool. "I'll do everything myself. The right way. The nerd way."
"I think the nerd way is kind of creepy, you know?"
"Nobody asks for your opinion."
"Whatever you say. Don't screw up." Tohru left the room.
"I'll do it. Just you wait. I'll put up the biggest speech that no one will forget."
Meanwhile, we see Gokicha and Ayu Tsukimiya looking at the Normal Earth.
"Oh wow. This place is so cool." Ayu said.
"It is. It's like a big city." Gokicha said.
"That's was what I was about to say. It almost look like Tokyo here."
A police car rolls to Ayu and Gokicha.
The window rolled down and revealed U.N. Jefferson. "Welcome to Normal Earth. I am the policeman of Normal Earth. And so, I'm here to serve and protect. That's the law."
"We didn't did anything wrong, did we?" Ayu asked.
"If you're preferring to you and your little cockroach friend on your shoulder, not yet. Hopefully you don't do something that is against the law." Jefferson said.
"I'm glad I did not do anything like that." Gokicha thought.
"So, welcome to Normal Earth. Feel free to ask me anything if you have a question." Jefferson said.
"Thank you, sir." Gokicha said.
Jefferson made a shocked face. "Okay, did not saw that one coming. These days are not normal anymore. If nerds aren't enough, then otherworldly species would be more weirder." He then drove away.
"Is it something I said?" Gokicha wondered.
"I don't think that's it." Ayu said. "What do wanna do while we're here?"
"Well, we can check some places out. I'm curious to see what there is here."
Ayu nodded, then she walked to...wherever they're going.
In the concert hall, we see Arnold going up to four people. Two females and two males to be exact.
The first female has red hair and green eyes. She wears a purple dress that reaches down to reveal her feet and sandals. This is Nessa.
The second female has brown hair and green eyes. She wears a purple long-sleeve shirt, black thigh-high socks and black dress shoes. This is Phryne.
The first male has blonde hair and dark blue-green eyes. He wears a white t-shirt, dark green shorts that reaches close to his knees, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown shoes. This is Clain Necran.
The second male has brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a green short-sleeve jacket, orange long-sleeve shirt, green pants and brown boots. This is Sunda Granitz.
"Oh, I did not know you're gonna be here." Arnold said.
"What do you expect?" Phryne asked.
"Well, I kind of made some run-ins with my lawyer and all, and I think he spared me from guilt." Arnold said.
"How can a lawyer spare you from guilt?" Clain asked.
"I don't know. It was new." Arnold said.
"Anyways. Sorry to say this, but someone else decided to crash the party for ya." Sunda said.
"What? Who?" Arnold asked.
"You know him as Stan Gable." Nessa said.
"Oh no, not again. What is he up to this time?" Arnold asked.
"Instead of violin, he's insistent on using a guitar." Sunda said.
"A guitar?" Arnold asked suddenly.
The four nodded.
"Oh blimey. This is a violin concert, not a guitar concert. I better go stop him." Arnold ran past the four and goes into the concert itself.
"Do you think he's gonna make it out alive?" Nessa asked.
"If he doesn't, then oh well. Poor kid. He is a talented violinist. Up until now." Sunda said.
"We should stop them before they get into a fight." Phryne said.
"That be a good idea, I trust Phryne on that." Nessa said.
"But how though?" Clain asked.
"Don't worry, we'll think of something. I'm sure." Nessa said.
"If you say so." Clain said.
Meanwhile, we go to a casino where there are lots of slot machines, games, and of course, a bar. Here, we do see Kei and Chihiro sitting at one of the tables, while drinking some glass of water.
"I do hope Poindexter-kun doesn't screw up his performance." Kei said.
"I think he'll do just fine. I'm sure." Chihiro said.
"Yeah, but he's a nerd. And I don't know what he does for a living."
"Don't worry, sister. I'm sure he'll make it."
"If you say so."
Then a weird man came to them.
This man has a dark skin tone and black hair. He wears a white dress and red slippers. This is Lamar Latrell.
"So, how is everyone?" Lamar asked.
Kei gets shocked at this. "Are you a male?!"
"I am indeed a male." Lamar said.
"You're...you're a pervert!" Kei said, angrily.
"Excuse me, what?" Lamar asked, confused.
"Don't what me, you're the one that wears women's clothing!" Kei said.
"I can't help it! I'm like this! I'm…" Lamar was about to say, before getting kicked by Kei in the face.
"Pervert! Sister, let's go." Kei grabs Chihiro's hand and runs off.
Lamar gets up. "At least I can explain."
Kei and Chihiro has gotten out of the casino, then panted.
"That guy is such an idiot." Kei said.
"That was creepy, honestly." Chihiro said.
"I don't know what that guy does for a living." Kei said.
The police car came to them and Jefferson rolls down the window.
"There's a man that dressed up as a woman in that casino." Kei said.
"You might be meaning Lamar Latrell, right? Yeah, he's a problem. I can't just arrest him because of that, just get away from him if you see him weird. He was wanting to please me a long time ago, but hell no, I'm not doing that." Jefferson said.
"Wow, do you think that's harsh?" Chihiro asked.
"Don't care. See ya." Jefferson then drove off.
"You're a jerk. You're a jerk!" Kei shouted.
"Now what?" Chihiro asked.
"We go somewhere else." Kei said.
Lamar then came outside. "Guys, let me explain. I'm a homosexual type person, okay? I know, it's weird, but I am. Honestly, I just asking how you're doing and that's all. Please accept my apology."
"Accept? Why?" Kei asked.
"I have nothing. Nothing at all. Until the nerds helped me in that situation. I'm a nerd, I know. But I'm not a bad nerd as I am." Lamar said.
"So, you're saying you felt down?" Chihiro asked.
"Dear God, yes." Lamar said.
"I understand. Still, it's still creepy on what you do and all." Chihiro said.
"I understood that. So, will I be friends with you?" Lamar asked.
Kei sighed. "I'll think about it. But don't anything stupid, you hear me?"
"I didn't anything stupid in my life." Lamar said.
"Uh huh. Yeah. Let's go." Kei said.
"We might see each other again, honestly." Chihiro said.
"Thanks. Appreciate it. Hopefully I'm not a nuisance to you. See ya." Lamar walks away.
"What is up with this?" Kei thought.
At a technician meeting, we see Lewis on the stage, talking about technology.
"You see, technology has helped us a long time ago. Technology has been created from the century of the cave men. But there are some technology that wants to pollute the world. And so, we came up with technology that can help save the world from pollution. We're already facing that right now. I know there are some worlds that aren't polluted and all, but I know there are some that has been polluted. So, we need to come up with clever technology that can help protect the world. We're already working on that right now. Like stuff that can clear out the trash that has been littered on the ground or at the beach. That's one example. So, any questions so far?"
"I have one." A female said.
This female has brown hair and gray eyes. She wears a white t-shirt, short beige jacket, gray skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and white sneakers. This is Lena.
"Yes." Lewis said.
"So, I know of a person that doesn't like her ocean being littered with trash and all." Lena said.
"I think I met that person before, and she told me to do a speech on the technological things that can help nature at it's best. I would like to thank for that when I see her again."
"She gave you this speech?"
"Yes, she did. And so we need to put matters in our own hands and unpollute the world."
"Unless if the Endeavors goes and destroy the world." Pokota said.
"Well, we do not want the Endeavors to destroy us, and so yeah. How many Endeavors are there, anyway? This is the first time I ever heard of Endeavors, to be honest."
"We don't know. Only Alan Rikkin is the one we know of so far." Lena said.
"Yeah, and that's worse. And so yeah. I think I good job at this speech. Please remember, don't litter. Just clean up your own mess. And thank you." Lewis left the stage.
Everyone clapped their hands.
Lewis came out of the stage and sees Tohru waiting for him.
"Congratulations. You did a good job out there." Tohru said.
"Yeah, I did." Lewis said.
"Hopefully they get the idea of what you have been talking about."
"I'm hoping they put this into consideration."
Tohru nodded.
"Shall we go on?"
"Yeah. Oh, where's your girlfriend right now?"
"My girlfriend? Well...that's a good question. Where is she?"
At the violin stage, we see a man with blonde rocking it out on stage. He wears a red t-shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. This is Stan Gable.
He is playing his guitar, violently.

If we want to fight for our destiny

Arnold came into the stage and saw Stan rocking the guitar. "What are you doing? That's a violin stage, not a guitar stage!"
Stan then stops playing his guitar and turns to Arnold, angrily.
Arnold gets frightened at this.
"You pick on the wrong guy. I've written a good song...until you came and ruin it for me, you dick wad." Stan said.
"I'm dead meat." Arnold thought.
Stan and Arnold then gets angry, then goes up to one another, then punches each other and gone down to the floor and punch some more.
Outside, we see Natsume Tsuchimikado and another woman walking down to the violin concert.
This woman has blonde hair and wears a white cap. She wears a light blue and white t-shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. This is Betty Childs.
"So, here I was, with my husband, and although I did not talked to him today, I feel like I need to." Betty said.
"Is your life complicated?" Natsume asked.
"Nah. It's just, I need to understand Skolnick more."
"Your husband's name?"
"Yeah."
"I see."
They heard fighting from outside.
"What the hell is going on?" Betty asked.
"I'm hoping nothing bad happened." Natsume said.
They both gone inside to see what's going on.
Back with Arnold and Stan, they're still battling it out with each other.
"And Stan is getting on the lead. Damn. This is not gonna be good for Arnold as I thought." Sunda said.
"When are you an announcer?" Nessa asked.
"I was born to be an announcer." Sunda said, coolly.
"That's creepy." Nessa said.
They battled it out, until Shouko Nogami stepped in.
"That's enough!" Shouko said.
Arnold and Stan then break off each other.
"Stan Gable. I understand that you wanna do a concert and all, but you can't do it here. Is this understood?" Shouko asked.
"Since when are you the boss around here?" Stan asked.
"I am an instructor, mister. So don't give me that attitude and play your little song somewhere else." Shouko said.
"I was singing about putting up a brave front and facing your fears, dude." Stan said.
"Sounds encouraging and all, that's good, but the bad thing is, you're doing it in the wrong place. This place is for violin, not for rock and roll, understood?" Shouko asked.
"Fine. I'll go. Sorry about earlier." Stan left the stage.
Shouko sighed.
"Thank you. I would have been dead meat by now if it weren't for you." Arnold said.
"He needs to learn which things go in which places. You be glad I saved you, otherwise you would have been bloodied by now." Shouko said.
"That's a threat, and I knew it." Arnold thought.
Betty and Natsume came into the stage.
"What just happened?" Betty asked.
"Gable attacked Poindexter, and so I stepped in and stopped this." Shouko said.
"That must have been a pain." Natsume said.
"No. Gable still needs some learning to do. And so he has it." Shouko said.
Natsume nodded.
"I'm still gonna do my violin, still yet." Arnold said.
"Yep. You have a lot to do, don't ya?" Shouko said.
Arnold nodded.
"I'll let you do that." Shouko then leaves the stage.
"Well, that was something." Natsume said.
"That was." Betty said.
"And that was my story. Although, I do know hardest part of my story is literally gonna be a bad one honestly." Arnold narrates.
In a dark room, we see a shadow of a man looking at the symbol of the Endeavors. "The past will be recreated. Soon, the future will be destroyed. I'll carry out Ted Faro's advice, and do this myself."
