Anne and Maggie were making their way to Maggie's grandma's house. It was raining out, so Anne brought her umbrella. Maggie didn't have an umbrella of her own, so Anne shared her umbrella with her, which Maggie appreciated. Maggie still felt bad for the way she used to treat Anne, but figured this was her chance to make up for everything. If her grandma had info that could help Anne, she felt that this could be the first real step towards her becoming Anne's friend.

Anne, on the other hand, seemed to have already forgiven Maggie. In a way, she was glad that Maggie reached out to her and seemed to have changed her awful behavior towards her. Before, she couldn't stand being anywhere near Maggie, but now it seemed that she really changed for the better. Plus, she really needed some human friends right now. Aside from Sasha and Marcy, she's had no contact with humans for months.

"We're almost there," Maggie said.

"Hey, thanks for this..." Anne smiled at Maggie.

"Oh...no problem..." Maggie avoided eye contact with Anne. Why is her smile so cute?

They soon came across a house that looked to be about three times the size of Anne's house.

"Is that your grandma's house? It's huge! It's way bigger than my parents house, and they own a restaurant!"

"Oh, yea. We have some family wealth...my great, great grandpa was an oil tycoon. A big one, too."

Wow, I never knew Maggie's family was loaded...

Maggie walked up to the door and knocked. Anne stood right behind her. After a few seconds, the door opened.

"Ah, hello dearie! What brings you here? And without your dad, no less?"

"Uh, my friend Anne wanted to know something...something important..."

"Oh, ask away! I got plenty of time to talk these days. The name's Hattie, by the way. Why, aren't you a cute one! You sure know how to pick em, eh Maggie?"

"Grandma, come on!" Maggie turned away from Anne to hide her flustered face. "We're just friends!"

"Okay, okay..." Hattie winked at Anne, who looked at her in confusion. "Anyway, what did you want to know?"

Anne took out her phone. "Do you recognize this box?" Anne showed Hattie a picture of the Calamity Box.

"Ah, my old music box...where'd you find it?"

"I found it at a thrift shop...do you know where it came from?"

"Uh...I can't really say...it's kinda been in my family for a long time. There's no telling where it came from..."

"Okay, thanks...uh, I'm gonna get going then..."

"Oh, so soon?"

"Uh, yea...I gotta...do a thing..."

Anne started to walk into the other room and Maggie walked after her.

"Anne, you're not gonna ask her about Amphibia?"

"She obviously doesn't know about the Calamity Box's powers. I don't want to waste any more of her time..."

Hattie overheard them mention Amphibia and the Calamity Box. They know about the box?

Hattie hurried to catch up with Anne and Maggie.

"Wait...I do have some information on that box...come back and...I'll tell you everything I know..."

Anne and Maggie came back into the living room and sat down on the couch. Hattie sat on the chair facing them.

"Listen carefully...about 5 years ago, the Calamity Box was...given to me by someone who became a close friend of mine. She told me...to never let it fall into the wrong hands...she warned me about someone named...Andrias..."

"King Andrias?" Anne asked.

"Yes...she escaped from Amphibia...apparently, her family had possession of the box for centuries, and Andrias wanted it...she knew how dangerous it would be if it fell into his hands, so...she used it to come to our world, the only place where he couldn't get to the box..."

"So, your friend is a frog? Where is she now?"

"She resides in a swamp somewhere nearby. If I come with you, I can show you where she is. I'd just need to let her know that you're not a threat."

"Oh, I'll bring the Plantars! My frog friends came back over from Amphibia with me!"

"Okay, but we have to be very careful. There have been some people lurking around lately...very suspicious people...like, 'Suspicion Island' level of suspicious..."

"You watch 'Suspicion Island?'" Anne lit up.

"Never missed an episode, dearie...now, go grab your frog friends, but make sure they wear disguises. You don't want them to be seen..."

Later that day, Anne, Sprig, Polly and Hop Pop joined Maggie and Hattie near a swamp outside of town. The area had an unusually dense fog around it that made seeing what's in front of them difficult. They all had boots on to help with walking through the swamp. It was a little too deep for Polly, so Anne carried her through the swamp.

After a few minutes, the swamp ended and they saw a little house. Hattie went up to the door and knocked on it in a strange rhythm. A secret knock? Anne thought to herself.

The door opened, and a bright red frog came out of the house and gave Hattie a hug.

"Wow, Hattie! How long has it been? Come on in! And who's with you?"

"This is Anne and my granddaughter Maggie, and these are the Plantars..."

"The...Plantars?"

Hop Pop got a good look at the frog standing before him, and couldn't believe his eyes.

"Helena?"

Anne looked over at Hop Pop. "Wait, you know each other?"

"I...guess you could say that..." Hop Pop said.

Sprig walked up to the frog as the realization slowly came over him. He knew who this was...and he couldn't stop himself from shedding tears at the sight of her...

"Mom?"
