OG world, AU Lillie

Lillie was in the classroom staring out over the school playground. Recognizing she's from a different dimension then the people she's seeing now ever since school was finished she was staring out over the edge and to the battlefield. Ash and Kiawe both were training on the school field doing their thing as the blonde only has eyes for Ash.

In the way he trained it was an exact copy of what her Ash did. She wondered how her boyfriend would take it right now if he realized the Lillie he woke up next too wasn't her. Ash can be incredibly strict to himself when it came to protecting his friends but he might be ten times worse at failing her. He always seemed more protective of her then the rest of his friends but now that they were together it made sense.

"What's wrong?" Mallow asked the other Lillie who been awfully quiet and she started to worry.

"Come on. You can tell us." Lana being the same friend as the other one Lillie felt confident enough to confide in them.

"Ash keeps his distance and hasn't said a word to me ever since yesterday." Even if it wasn't her boyfriend she wanted to be near him. Her two friends both were amazed she was so clingy to him as their Lillie normally kept her distance and respected his privacy. Leaning over the railing of the class room she sighed.

"It's probably awkward for him. Our Lillie never talked about Ash the way you do. We don't even know if she likes him. You don't read a lot of romance stories you…our Lillie said." Mallow knowing her taste in books well there wasn't a single clue their Lillie loved Ash but for a healthy platonic bond as friends.

"So…how did it happen?" Lana wanted to know just how her blonde friend fell for Ash. Lillie sighed going into a dreamlike state.

"Ash is special from day one. Since day one he insisted on making me comfortable with Pokémon again even if we didn't know each other well."

When he stumbled into the Pokémon school he got nearly crushed by her classmates riding Tauros. She hid behind him when one came up to her and she was still in her not touching Pokémon phase. Only a few days after that when she took care of Snowy's egg he tried to get her over her phobia. Not fully over it she at least was brave enough to touch the egg.

"Rescuing mother from the Ultra Beast, getting along with my brother and forming a rivalry, the way he throws himself into a challenge. He didn't know it at first but unwillingly he impressed me so much I began to crush on him."

"He's great, but I wouldn't say he's my crush."

"Me neither." Lana and Mallow shared the feeling as Lillie continued.

"I had to try. I had to do something before he left and went out of my life. It wasn't until I read up on how strange my body was acting until I did research about it. I had a crush on him and the only cure was to confess. I came to him after the League and during the celebration party. I took him aside and thanked him for everything."

"Aaaaaaannnnnnnnddddddd?" The two waiting to hear what happened after it though it was already spoiled due Lillie's bright red cheeks.

"That's when I kissed him." The blonde took off her sunhat and covered her face hiding the blush.

"He seemed pretty dense. I didn't think he had it in him."

"Living with Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet made him more observant. We are going steady since and I'm happier than I could be with him. My Ash would go with me to see the world and look for my father. Everything is perfect."

"Apart from being here." Lana said helping the blonde out of her daydream as Lillie leaned depressed over the railing.

"And this one doesn't want to speak with me. I wonder if I did something wrong." Even if it wasn't her Ash he just made her feel safe. Being in the known and yet unfamiliar world she needed an anchor of safety which only he could provide.

"Just go to him." Mallow suggested.

"But then I'd interrupt his training."

"Does your Ash mind if you interrupt him?" Lana said

"No. But he's not…"

"You just go home. We'll convince him to go see you." Lana had a certain glint in her eye. Lillie recognized the look as she had something devious in mind. The fisher girl grabbing Mallow aside from Lillie, the other dimension girl took her friends advice and went to the mansion.

Sitting in her room the balcony looked over the garden. The wild Pokémon in her dimension looking eerily the same she sighed.

"Why is there so little difference between mine and this mine? And did this have to be one where Ash isn't…"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

"Ash?"

Lillie heard distinctive screaming. A large plume of dust arose from the trees around the mansion as a large Pokémon rushed onto the playground carrying a boy all tied up against the torso of a Tauros. The bull raced into the playground area making the smaller Pokémon flee. Pikachu held on tightly as well on Ash's shoulder not be kicked off.

"Ash!?" Lillie raced down the stairs outside. Ash still screaming the Tauros stopped moving as it saw the blonde approach.

"My goodness you alright!? What happened!?" Even not her Ash Lillie was still worried. Pikachu used Iron Tail to cut through the ropes. Ash fell of Tauros and dusted himself off. Lillie took him inside the mansion to get patched up. Ash pulling back a little did not want to go in but Pikachu threatening to zap him with a Thunderbolt made him change his mind. He had to confront it sooner or later.

"Lana and Mallow caught me, tied me up on that Tauros and then slapped its rear your way."

Not much choice since Lillie's best friends forced him to speak to her. The blonde finished up by placing a small plaster on his arm still nervous on how to continue. This Ash was avoiding her.

"Uhm?" Lillie was nervous and bashful. Now that he fell into her lap she did not want to scare him away.

"Have I done anything to you that upsets you?" Lillie asked why he was avoiding her. Even when not dating they should be good friends right?

"I…just can't figure it out why you fell for me." More importantly why his other choose Lillie over any other girl. Lillie did not make him feel weird and changed like Professor Kukui. Living with the teacher/wrestler Ash did notice a few changes but not enough to think he himself can do the things Kukui does with Burnet to another girl.

"Because Serena did the same?" Hearing the name of the Performer Ash jumped up.

"How do you know?" She blushed as she told him.

"You were too good a kisser. You done it before. After a bit of dating you confessed I wasn't your first kiss." Lillie was disappointed she didn't get to share the special event at the same time but after dating him can't blame Ash that he was so attractive.

"Oh." Ash finding his counterpart more talkative then himself. He didn't even tell his mom or other Pokémon about the farewell kiss Serena gave him. The awkward air around them prevented them from a quick continuation. Lillie was the first to talk again.

"Why are you avoiding me? Don't you like me?"

"I don't want you to think different about me. I mean, other me must be happy with you but by hanging out with me and not giving you the attention you need as my…" Hesitant to say the word, "girlfriend…you can start different to think about him. And I'm not looking for a relationship at all with a girl, I need to be a Pokémon Master first."

Lillie's heart beat raised, he was just as selfless as her Ash. In an attempt to not lower her opinion of her boyfriend he did not want to interrupt the build up they had. She gave a soft smile as she held on to her part of her skirt nervously.

"You're sweet like him. My Ash wasn't sure about it too. He was willing to try it out and he was happy once we started. He saw it as a new adventure."

"An adventure?"

"Just…just don't leave me behind. I know we're not dating but at least we're friends right?"

Ash agreed with a nod.

"And I won't do anything that can make you fall for your Lillie. I'm just asking you to be close so I don't miss him too much in this other world. Can you do that for me?"

She begged him with her green eyes knowing his weak spots. Ash couldn't stand seeing someone sad particularly one of his friends. He conceded against her.

"I guess I can do that."

"Great!" She hugged him tight surprising him. Feeling the tremble in her arms Lillie yelped and let go off him. Her face beat red she apologized.

"Sorry. It's become a habit."

Been a while huh? But it's been a while I was behind on some stuff so here's a small filler one to show I'm still busy.

I'll see if I can pick this up a bit more.

Later.
