Chapter Twenty-Seven: Enter: Ginyu Force!

"My Lord, We've arrived as per your request. I hope we did not trouble you with the wait." Ginyu said.

"Not at all Captain!" Frieza said, a smile, a non-sadistic one surprisingly, appeared on his face. "I know well that waiting for my invincible Ginyu Force is always worth it!"

"Thank you sir, and I hope my error in front of Lord Cooler did not anger you." Ginyu replied. Ginyu took a respectful bow to show his sincerity.

"Of course not! My brother's opinion doesn't matter anyways." Frieza pointed out, scoffing at the thought of his own brother, he rolled his eyes. "Nobody cares for what he has to say…" Frieza then turned to Jeice with a joyful smile.

"My Loyal Jeice! How are you? Is your relationship going well? I hope the Bank had no problems depositing your paycheck last week."

"I'm doing great Lord Frieza! And thanks for asking, my relationship has been going great!" Jeice grinned happily. "There was no issue with my paycheck deposit."

"Good, Good!" Frieza said, then he faced Burter. "Burter, were you able to exterminate that pesky Freeza Planet 419?"

"I did Sir, but uhm, a few weeks later, they've managed to repopulate again!" Burter replied. "However I went and took care of Cyngi-61 for you! It was sold for 100% of the price requested!"

Frieza gave a look of glee. "I'll be sure to have a bonus sent immediately to your account! I'm sure we can find the root problem of 419 eventually, but thanks for taking care of Cyngi-61, and all by yourself as well!"

Burter nodded in response. Then Frieza turned to Recoome. "And Recoome your assistance from earlier was much appreciated." He said. "Getting a start on re-education is always quite a troublesome task."

"No problem Lord Frieza!" Recoome replied.

Frieza then moved over to Guldo. "Ah Guldo, glad to see you're here." He said. "Were you perhaps able to help on the problem with 419?"

Guldo shook his head. "Sorry Lord Frieza, but I'm afraid even their psychic powers are far out of my jurisdiction." He replied.

"Mhm, I see. It is no problem, like I said, we'll figure it out someday." Frieza said. He moved back to his original spot, and continued. "Anyways, I have a bit of a problem on this planet with maggots and other pests intervening. I was hoping my best exterminators could take care of the problem."

"Of course Lord Frieza! We'll deal with them immediately!" The Captain replied. He turned to face his men. "Men! Let's head out!"

First, Ginyu took off, then Burter and Recoome followed behind, then Jeice and Guldo afterwards.

Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo raced across the sky following Vegeta to his little hideout. It took them about five minutes to finally reach there. There stood five other Dragon Balls laying together, and Vegeta grinned with slight wickedness.

"Good! Now let's hurry and-..." Vegeta paused...It was too late. The Ginyu Force had arrived right in front of the balls. Vegeta and the three others' mouths had hung open. "NONONONONONONONO! WE WERE SO CLOSE DAMN IT ALL!"

Before anyone could actually say anything, the five men began doing poses, Vegeta shuddered hard having already seen this coming. Piccolo looked with extreme dumbfoundedness, and Krillin was straight up confused.

"W-What are -..." Krillin was cut-off by Recoome before he could finish.

"Reccoooooooommmeee!" He said. He bent his left arm, and stretched out his right. Then he stretched his left leg out, and bent his right knee. "I've got the strongest powers! I'll clean the scum off the battlefield without a single sweat! With my ultra fighting pose, and my miracle bomber, I'll be unstoppable!"

Then next was Burter, he lifted his legs up and down, as if he were running with his two arms stretched out like a t-pose. The blue alien stopped, kept his right leg lifted and his two arms stretched.

"Buuuurrrrrtteer!" He shouted. "Here comes the Blue Hurricane! Fastest in the Universe! With unmatched speed, I'll have the field cleansed before your very eyes could blink!"

After was Jeice, he swung his head around, allowing his lone white mane to spin, before finishing off by taking a pose. "Jeeeeeeiiccceeee!" He shouted. Jeice flexed his left arm, stretched his right arm upwards and balled his right fist. He stretched out his right leg but kept his left leg normally stretched.

"I am called the Red Magma! I'm also Ginyu Force's Number Two! With my signature Crusher Ball, you won't even know what hit ya!" Jeice said.

After was Guldo, who quickly took a pose, placing his right elbow on his left hand, and his right fist onto his chin.

"The Name's Guldo! I have the power to stop time! That's real psychic powers, and my taste for free form jazz is unlike any other!" Guldo shouted.

"We're the most elite fighting team there is! The one and only!" Jeice shouted.

"GINYU FORCE!" The four in sync said.

Then finally was the Captain, Ginyu kneeled down, bending his right leg near the ground, and keeping only his left knee bent. He stretched his two arms out, and made a fist, then pointing out his two index fingers.

"Giiiiinnnyuuuu!" Ginyu shouted. "The one and only! Captain Ginyu! Leader of the Ginyu Force! One of the mightiest known forces in the universe! When you're fighting me you'd better give it all you got! Or you'll be on the ground before you know it! I serve with Mighty Lord Frieza, with my men!"

Then they all proceed to shout in sync. "WE! ARE! THE! GINYU! FORCE!"

Sweat dripped from Piccolo's and Vegeta's forehead, Krillin just looked with immense confusion. Gohan on the other hand clapped thinking it was cool, which gave him a glare from both Vegeta and Piccolo, and a head shake of disappointment from Krillin.

"What C'mon! It was cool!" Gohan tried to defend himself. He opened his mouth again to defend himself but gave up and sighed, giving a look of defeat. "You guys suck."

"Hey look at that men, it seems we've got a bit of a fanclub!" Ginyu shouted, facing his crew. Gohan averted his gaze away from everyone, slightly blushing in embarrassment.

The other four Ginyu gave a cheerful shout in response. "Alright!"

Without a second thought, Vegeta turned to both Gohan and Krillin. "Hurry! Get rid of the Dragon Balls, break them, throw them! Something before they take it!"

Krillin jumped up a couple feet, pulled his hands back and threw the Dragon Ball across the sky. Despite his efforts, the ball didn't even make ten feet before being grabbed by something else. All Krillin saw was a blue blur passing by, and then returning over to where the Five Ginyu's stood.

When Krillin faced the five Ginyu's, his jaw dropped completely in extreme shock. "W-What!?" He gasped. Burter had the ball in his hand and a wide smirk on his face. "H-He m-moved so fast! I couldn't even see it!"

Immediately after, Gohan tried to strike the Dragon Ball in his hand, but it was gone. Gohan didn't even blink and it was gone.

"W-Where'd it go!" Gohan shouted. He darted his head and eyes around looking for, up, down, north, south, east, and west, finally after a couple more seconds Gohan's eyes locked on with the ball. It was in Guldo's hands, and Gohan's eyes broadened from shock.

It took a short second, but Vegeta had already realized what happened. "The rumors are true, Guldo can control time after all, can't he?" He said. Vegeta gave a scowled look on his face, and Guldo smirked.

"Guilty as charged." Guldo replied, handing Ginyu the last Dragon Ball. The Captain carried two between his arms and floated the other five with his energy. Before Ginyu left, he eyed Gohan for a second and then Vegeta.

"Hmm...This Kid...He looks an awful lot like a Saiyan...He bears a bit of resemblance to Vegeta...is he perhaps?" Ginyu shook his head. "No..The resemblance isn't really much. Perhaps he is Raditz's child?" Ginyu shrugged his shoulders and decided to brush it off. "Eh, I'm sure it's nothing. Well nothing to worry about anyways."

"I think his Lordship will love this little gift I'll present him with." Captain Ginyu said. "The rest of you can decide what to do with our guests." Ginyu smirked and hovered above.

"Oh no you don't!" Vegeta yelled. He lifted his two hands above his head and shoved them forward unleashing a powerful energy wave. The wave approached at extreme rapid speeds, however, it was deflected, by none other than the Red Magma, Jeice!

Jeice launched his fist against the energy blast and it turned the opposite direction then sky high. Vegeta clenched his fist tightly in anger, and cursed under his breath.

"The blast...he deflected it so easily!" Krillin said, gaping in fright and shock.

"Hey Cap'n!" Jeice shouted. Ginyu stopped himself before officially leaving the area, and turned to his comrade. "How about after we kill the other three, we keep the kid as a little present for Lord Frieza?!"

This statement made Gohan swallow hard in intense fear, and Ginyu smirked.

"I think that's a great idea! I'm sure Lord Frieza would love to have a little toy as a bonus!" Ginyu replied.

"Okay! We'll be sure to have him in acceptable condition!" Jeice said. Once Jeice was finished, Ginyu took off and Jeice turned his face back to the four fighters.

Gohan bit his lip and tried to stand firm, but fear was creeping in at the young boy.

"I got it! We'll do three rounds!" Guldo said. "One for Vegeta, One for the Namekian, and the baldie and the young kid over there for the last round!"

"I think that's a great idea!" Burter replied.

"Agreed. It seems pretty fair." Jeice agreed. All four Ginyus made a circle with each other, and raised their fists. "Ginyus Reeeaaadddyyyy!" They slammed their hands down and shook it several times before each of them making what seemed to resemble paper.

"Tie! Go Again!" They all shouted in sync. They shook their hands for a few seconds, then shaped their hands, this time it resembles scissors. "Tie! Go Again!" They did it several more times, doing the shape of a rock, scissors, and papers. It had appeared that they were playing a game of rock paper scissors.

"W-What the hell do they think they're doing?!" Piccolo growled. "Is this just a game to them?!"

"Don't worry about, it's buying us time! We need to come up with a plan." Vegeta pointed out. Piccolo wanted to protest against Vegeta for seemingly taking the lead, but didn't, knowing that Vegeta was right.

"What do you have in mind?" Krillin asked.

"I think we should start off with a brief description of them and their abilities." Vegeta said. "First off, is Guldo. He may be short, and weak looking, but don't let him fool you. His power may be low but he's got killer psychic capabilities. We need to find an opening and kill him off as soon as possible. If we can get rid of him, then we can focus on the actual fighting."

"Wouldn't it be easier to take a shot while they're not paying attention?" Krillin suggested.

Vegeta shook his head. "No. They'll be awhile, if I recall correctly, they're all horrible at rock paper scissors." He replied. "This'll give us enough time to come up with a proper plan. Escaping won't work either, they'll find us."

"Okay, then, what about this big guy?" Krillin asked.

"Recoome? He's not the brightest, but he's extremely tough. You could be stronger than him, and it'd still be hard to take him down." Vegeta answered. "Recoome has incredible durability, meaning simple cuts and scratches won't do it. You need to strike powerful blows, or use extreme slices to even deal a fair amount of damage."

"You can't be serious! He's that strong?!" Gohan gasped.

Vegeta nodded. "Yes! So whenever we have him down.." Vegeta paused for a second. "DON'T STOP ATTACKING."

The others nodded in response.

"Alright. Did you guys really come here on your own? No Kakarotto or Raditz?" Vegeta asked.

"Yes.. at least at first. Goku, Raditz, and Yamcha should be arriving very soon." Piccolo answered. "They've been training on the ship, so hopefully they should be somewhat stronger."

"They better be here as soon as possible. I hate to admit it, but any help will be needed." Vegeta replied. "The more we can raise our odds, the better. How soon do you think they'll be here?"

"Erm. Not Sure." Piccolo said. "But they could be arriving any minute now. It's been some time since they left."

Vegeta sighed. "I guess we'll have to stall and hope for a damned miracle!" He said. "The best way to defeat Recoome is to take him in one mighty blow. Something that could act as a final strike or something, anything that should have a way to strike fatally. Can any of you manage that?"

"Actually, Yeah I can." Piccolo replied. "But I'll need time to charge up."

"I'll buy as much possible time as I can." Vegeta said. "You will have to hurry though."

"I'll do what I can. What about the other two?" Piccolo asked.

"Burter is incredibly speedy, whatever he may lack in power, he makes up for in immeasurable speed." Vegeta answered. "The only way we're ever going to beat him is if we manage to restrict his mobility. If we can do that we might be able to win."

Vegeta looked back for a second to assure that they were still doing rock paper scissors. It appears Recoome had won the first round for Vegeta, and the rest of the Ginyus were still playing for Piccolo and the two others.

He then turned back around. "As for Jeice. He's second-in-command of the Ginyu Force, like the Captain himself, he has incredible raw power. The only thing you should really look at is his Crusher Ball, his Crusher Ball can change frequencies allowing it to collide with another attack without itself being destroyed or cut in half."

"So basically, we just need to strike before they do?" Krillin asked.

"Exactly." Vegeta replied.

The four turned back to the Ginyus who just finished their game. Burter had won the Namekian, but him and the others decided to let Guldo take the first fight. Guldo had been given the two runts as a fight.

Guldo took a few steps forward, and kept an evil grin on his face. "Alright you runts! Come and face me!" Guldo shouted while letting a short evil cackle come out.

"Keep Guldo on the defensive, I'll find the opening and finish him." Vegeta whispered. "Let them think we're playing along, they'll never expect the rest of us to attack."

Gohan and Krillin nodded in response. They stepped forward, and took their stances. Jeice who was behind Guldo, clicked the button on his scouter.

"Hey, Uh Guldo, be careful, these runts are actually pretty tough." Jeice said. Guldo looked over to Jeice with slight confusion. "Scouter is picking up two readings of ten thousand from them."

Guldo's eyes broadened for a second, at slight shock, but he swiftly reassured himself in his head. "That's fine, they're still no match for my incredible psychic powers!" Guldo smirked.

Jeice gave his comrade a thumbs-up for the Ginyu Force spirit, and awaited the fight to begin.

Gohan and Krillin charged at Guldo. Gohan took the right, dashing against the ground. Krillin took the left, running in from a curve. The two approached Guldo rapidly, and the short green alien had panicked. He took in a huge gulp of air, and held his breath, then everything stopped.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! I didn't expect them to be this fast!" Guldo said. In front of him was Krillin from the left, launching his fist, and Gohan from the right, up in the air, swinging his fist. Guldo ran and ran as far as he could to gain some distance from them.

He hid behind a small boulder, and decided to strategize a plan. "Okay, I'll have to do this carefully, I might be able to catch the boy off-guard, he should be inexperienced enough, and then that bald mon-...CRAP CRAP CRAP!"

Guldo couldn't hold it anymore he had to breathe, he exhaled, and time began once again. Krillin and Gohan's fists had only hit the air, the two looked a bit flabbergasted before picking up immediately what happened.

Guldo panted heavily, yet tried to keep quiet so that he wouldn't be heard, however, that was pointless, as Gohan and Krillin could sense his energy.

"Over there!" Krillin said, pointing his finger in the direction of Guldo. Gohan nodded in response, and both fighters flew after Guldo.

"What?! How did they find me already!?" Guldo thought in shock. Once again he held his breath, and flinched with his eyes closed. He opened them to find the two fighters right above him, he looked with intense shock. "How the hell?!" Guldo shook his head and snapped himself out of it, realizing he had no time to figure that out.

Instead he tried to hide out again, behind a rock formation. "Okay what If I use my telekinesis, and break apart…" Guldo paused, he needed to breathe again, and it was keeping him from thinking. If he exhaled, he'd be caught, if he didn't exhale, he'd die anyways. Guldo chose to exhale and catch his breath. "DARN IT!"

However to his surprise he wasn't found immediately, which made Guldo wonder with suspicion, before brushing it off as he had no time to think about it.

"Okay Gohan, I think if we play a bit dumb, we can do this a little more strategically." Krillin whispered. He placed his hand up against his mouth, trying to block the sound from his mouth going anywhere else.

"How exactly?" Gohan asked.

"Well, He doesn't know we can sense him, and I think, from what I'm seeing, he has to hold his breath to freeze time right?" Krillin said. "So if we keep on him, at one point he won't be able to hold his breath. After which I'll use my Kaioken just long enough to land a strike, and then we'll have him on our ropes."

"You take the lead, chase after him here now, then I'll chase after him again the next time he freezes, then you, then me, then so on. Got it?" Krillin asked. Gohan nodded in response. "We're a lot stronger than he is on the physical scale, but he makes up for that with his psychic powers, so my thinking is if I power up to a point where his psychic powers won't matter, we should be able to stop him."

"Okay, I'm ready when you are Krillin." Gohan said.

After a moment, Guldo had actually caught his breath quite a bit, and decided to start using his telekinesis, however Gohan had caught up with the short alien, to which Guldo had to freeze time again.

"How are they so fast!? They're only at a level of ten thousand!" Guldo thought in frustration. "Maybe they're like Burter? More speed? Less Strength?" Guldo read the two fighters' minds as he tried to find another hiding spot, finding out their techniques, their plans, and their recent fights. "T-They're masking their energy?! THAT'S POSSIBLE?!"

Once hidden behind yet another rock-like formation, he took a second to think. "Wait wait. So they're clearly not like Burter. But! How can they be this strong!? And with this Monk's kaio...whatever technique he can get almost as strong as Recoome now!"

Guldo clenched his fist angrily. "I need to tell the ot-..." Once again, his breath had caught up with himself, he had to take a breather. In front of him appeared Krillin, launching his foot, instinctively, Guldo shot a bolt of electricity out of his two index fingers.

"Kaikosen!" Guldo shouted. Krillin's body froze, and strong sharp pain was sent throughout his body.

"AaaGH!" Krillin screamed.

"Mr. Krillin!" Gohan yelled. He gritted his teeth viciously, rushing to Guldo but he had disappeared, clearly using his time freeze technique again. Gohan darted his eyes around to look for Guldo but averted his attention to Krillin who fell against the ground.

"Are you okay Krillin?" Gohan asked, as he lowered himself to the monk. Krillin nodded.

"Yeah, It wasn't anything too damaging. It's nothing too different from Master Roshi's Thunder Shock Surprise he used on Goku years ago, or Piccolo's Antenna Beam." Krillin answered, as he sat up. Krillin stood up, and with Gohan they searched for Guldo yet again. "Those techniques are really meant to damage, more to stun the opponent."

"There!" Krillin said. "You lead, I'll prepare to take the strike."

Gohan nodded in response. Gohan unleashed his max speed and Krillin as well did. Guldo panicked yet again when Gohan appeared, he opened his mouth to swallow some air, but Krillin had acted quickly, he unleashed his Kaioken and struck Guldo with his foot in the head.

Guldo slid across the ground for almost fifty feet.

At the same time…

"D-Did you guys see that? If Ah'm lookin at it right, that bald runt's energy just spiked up more than double for like a split second!" Jeice said, reading the display on his scouter.

"No that can't be right! Your scouter must be breakin." Burter replied. He turned his scouter on as well. "See it says ten thousand!"

Jeice bit his lip and sighed. "Yeah maybe yer right, Ah'm probably just seein things." He said. "Come on Guldo! Kick their ass! You can do it!"

"Yeah Guldo! Go Go Go!" Recoome shouted.

"Guldo! Guldo! Guldo!" The three Ginyus cheered.

"Darn it! I can't give up now, not when they're cheering me on!" Guldo thought. He pushed himself off the ground, and instead of time freezing, he concentrated his energy around his body. The short alien gritted his teeth and growled loudly. Gradually, he lifted his arms, and with it, a giant, no, a massive, massive, massive, mass of land lifted up.

Gohan and Krillin let their mouths hang in shock. Vegeta and Piccolo had done as well.

"Alright Guldo!" Burter said.

This mass of land, it was the size of a city! Gohan and Krillin embraced themselves for what was to come.

"W-What're we going to do?!" Gohan said. He gulped and bit his lip, trying to keep the fear from coming out.

"Just relax, we'll figure something out." Krillin replied.

Suddenly, small shards of tough and sharp rocks started raining on them. As each second went by more and more had come. Gohan and Krillin tried to dodge it, but it was proving futile. They were already given several cuts, and tons of scratches.

Krillin reacted instinctively, and pulled Gohan away, then he created a powerful barrier with him.

"You okay?" Krillin asked. Gohan nodded and stood up. He stretched his arms out and helped Krillin with the barrier. "Thanks."

"You can't hide in there for long!" Guldo shouted. He was right, even though it was simple rocks, it was imbued with Guldo's powerful psychic power. Guldo wasn't about to let these two beat him, so he put everything he had into this attack. "This is Guldo's Ultimate technique! Rain of Terra!"

Guldo stretched his hands higher and the mass of land flew into the sky, then rained everywhere, excluding the area where he had stood. Both Vegeta and Piccolo had to make a barrier of their own. The other Ginyus as well as Guldo had gotten a bit reckless.

"Hey careful there Guldo! What're you trying to do? Kill us as well?!" Jeice yelled. Guldo didn't respond, he was far too focused on the battle.

A moment later, Krillin and Gohan began to wear down, the barrier had several tears, and huge cracks.

"Damn it. I need to hold out longer!" Krillin said. "There's gotta be something I can do!" Then an idea creatively created itself in Krillin's mind. "Gohan, stop putting your energy in, I got an idea."

"You sure?" Gohan asked.

"Yes, just do it!" Krillin answered.

Gohan nodded and lowered his hands, relaxing himself. The barrier grew smaller and weaker for a moment, then it bursted in strength, repairing all cracks.

"Kaioken...Times THREE!" Krillin yelled. His muscles bulked, his veins bulged, and he could no longer focus on anything else. "N-Now...One more t-thing!" With pure concentration, he changed the shield's formation and look.

It became hexagonal, and almost looked like a destructo disc.

"How you like that!" Krillin yelled. Each bolt of shard did nothing and only disintegrated on touch. "This is Krillin's Destructo Barrier!"

Guldo gritted his teeth in rage, and growled ferociously. "That won't matter! I'm Guldo of the Ginyu Force!" He snarled. Guldo made the mass piece of land in the sky, split into bigger and gianter shards. The mass of land had quickly began to dissipate, as each shard separated from it.

Soon the mass of land was no more, and Guldo was left panting heavily, almost no energy was left in him. Krillin released his Destructo Barrier and deactivated his Kaioken 3x technique.

"Wew!" Krillin shouted. He looked at himself, although he sustained mild damage, overall he was actually doing pretty good. "Wow! Normally I'm out of commission by now but that Guru sure did something amazing to me!"
