A/N: Alright, so this one is going to be off of someone else's fanfiction on YouTube. Is that weird? A fanfiction of someone else's fanfiction? I mean, I've used other people's fanfiction before while giving the original person credit since I'm not a filthy plagiarist but I put my own spin into it to try to not make a complete rip off since my artistic sense of making something from scratch is lacking in evidence of English and Art classes. But that's usually for bits at the shortest and just 1 or 2 chapters at the longest. Well, however it goes, I figured I'd give this person's story the spotlight once again. It's created by someone called Dayana Blaze who came up with 'A Sonamy, Silvaze and Taiream Love Story'. back in 2012-13. As far as I know the story's incomplete but I just like it so much when I came back and re-watched it I wanted to do something with it to show how much I like it. The series is watchable on YouTube, but the way it's been presented is very...basic. It presents the story and drama in my opinion fine but it leaves important details out. Like where the heck do the girls and guys fricking live?! A house? An apartment? A place where someone can apparently hear what you're casually saying through the front door? I may need help with this. Not to mention that how they speak is a bit odd too with too many of them saying the same sentence at the same time. They're not a hive mind. So not only am I going to make a novelization of this series, I'm going to do a dang good remastered version of it if that makes sense. Also, everyone is either sixteen or older, so consider this an obvious AU. Don't want things to get creepy.
Amy Rose, a 16 year old female hedgehog with pink fur wearing a red dress and red shoes, was walking through a park trying to find a certain someone.
"Hmmm, now where is my Sonic? I need to find him." But even after she searched the whole park, it appeared he was nowhere within the area, or even near around it from the looks of it. It was around sunset when she finally gave up. "I'll never find him at this rate! Maybe I'll just go home." So Amy walked to where she lived, all depressed and such because she couldn't find her love. And where is the hedgehog of her dreams? He ran to a restaurant where an anthropomorphic squirrel with red hair was. His girlfriend Sally Acorn.
"Sorry I'm late, I went out for a run." He excused but she wasn't happy.
"Well you should be sorry. So called fastest thing alive couldn't even get to a date quick enough." She scoffed. He sweated and nervously chuckled.
"Well... I'm still here, right cupcake?"(A/N: Is it just me or does cupcake either feel like a nickname that either doesn't fit between them well specifically or just a bad cutesy name in general? Sounds a bit too sweetly corny to me.") Sally chuckled as she looked down.
"Yeah." ("He called me cupcake.")
"Come here angel." Sonic pulled Sally into her arms and they kissed. They spent their dinner date having burgers and milkshakes. Once he paid for the food he said, "I've got to run now. See you later."
"Okay Sonic, see you next time." They had a small kiss before he then ran off with his signature quickness.
"So, how was your day Amy?" A white bat by the name of Rouge asked her fellow housemate. She was the oldest of the bunch living there at 22 while everyone was 16 or older. They sat in a circle since that was custom during their daily girl talks at the end of the day. The other occupants aside from Amy and Rouge were Blaze the Cat, Cream the Rabbit and her little Chao, though he was in her room, Honey the Cat and Cosmo the Seedrian, who was an alien plant like girl in a green and white dress.
"Eh, it wasn't good." The pink hedgehog sighed with disappointment.
"Why don't you tell us what's wrong?" Cosmo asked, concerned for her friend.
"I couldn't find Sonic." Amy answered, turning her head to the left.
"Oh, is that all?" Blaze replied sarcastically with an eye roll, getting herself a drink.
"You don't know how I feel!" The pink hedgehog yelled as she pulled an eyelid down and stuck her tongue out. "Because you don't have a boyfriend! In fact, none of you do."
"I have a boyfriend." Honey countered, looking annoyed.
"So do I. You just haven't met him hun." Rouge added with a condescending tone. Even Blaze was on it.
"As do I."
"Oh yeah, tell me their names." Amy bluffed. Silence was the only sound in the room, causing her to smirk in victory. "Well?"
"Might as well admit it. None of us have any boyfriends." Cream sighed dejectedly.
"Ya, I have to be honest about that as well." Rouge rested her chin on an arm supported by her knee.
"Including me." Blaze looked ashamed that she lied.
"Oh well, nobody's perfect." Honey shrugged. Amy laughed.
"Ah, what a shame. Hehe. I guess I'm the only one to have a boyfriend!" Rouge flipped her off in irritation.
"Oh fuck off! Besides, don't you know Amy?" The bat raised the question.
"Oh yeah." Honey and Cosmo giggled.
"What? What?! What?! Tell me goddamn it!" Amy threatened her friends with a hammer she pulled out of nowhere.
"Rouge, do you want to tell her or should I?" Blaze suggested. The bat shrugged.
"Why not, I'll do it? Amy, we don't actually know if Sonic likes you like that.
"What?! Why?!" The female hedgehog questioned, getting more annoyed.
"Because we never saw you date with Mr. Sonic." Cream answered.
"And he likes someone else anyway." Honey added.
"Who... is it?" Amy growled, her grip on her hammer tightening to the point her knuckles popped.
"It's... well... it's..." Cosmo tried to tell her friend but was nervously stuttering, before being interrupted by Honey.
"It's Rouge!" She pointed at the bat while laughing.
"What?! Are you trying to get my Sonic!" She swung at her housemate, but the woman leapt back while using her wings to gain distance.
"It's not me Pinky! Damn you Honey!" The bat cursed the yellow cat whom was laughing her guts out, along with the others. Amy was not amused however.
"Why are you all laughing?!"
"Haha, sorry sorry, I was just screwing with you." Honey answered while wiping a tear from her eye.
"So Rouge never liked Sonic?"
"That blue hedgie? Heck no!" Rouge was unnerved by the idea. "He's way too energetic and too much of a goody two shoes. I prefer the dark and brooding types."
"So either Knuckles or Shadow." Honey replied. Rouge stiffened in response.
"Wha-hey!" She couldn't seem to make any comeback which caused everyone to laugh at her expense. Cosmo then asked Amy,
"Sooooo... you want to know who is Sonic's actual girlfriend?"
"Well yeah! Why do you think I took a swing at Rouge?! And this time no more games, all of you!" She pointed at them all.
"We promise." All of them swore.
"Her name is Sally Acorn." Blaze answered.
"Oh. Sally." Amy looked downward, now depressed.
"Here's her picture." From within her purple shirt, she threw Amy a picture which she caught. Though this did confuse her about something.
"Why were you holding a picture of her?" Blaze's eyes widened.
"No comment." She turned her head away.
"Ah, I wouldn't worry about it Amy." Honey slung an arm over Amy's arms. "She doesn't look all that good looking. You're much cuter. Besides, she looks much uglier than Rouge, and bats are known for being ugly-cute."
"Yea-hey! What are you implying?!" The white furred bat became red with anger from the statement. There was a knock at the door.
A/N: So, how'd I do with this? Do tribute fics like these work, or am I doing it incorrectly by doing it mostly the same with just some changed dialogue and who says what just for the sake of improved presentation of someone else's story? Tell me please.
