A/N: Okay, I think I may messed up the last chapter, with how things were portrayed. However, I think I know how to address the issue without changing the previous chapter. Just hold out for a bit.

Tails entered the hospital, and Vanilla, whom put Cream down into a chair, walked to him. Noticing he was crying, she asked him,

"Are you okay? Where's Sonic, and everyone else?" Sniffing snot up and wiping tears away, he replied,

"Knuckles beat him up. He was angry that Sonic pushed her into this, even if it wasn't his intention. Shadow wasn't as mad, but he spat on him and took Knuckles away to the island. Even Omega wouldn't let Sonic in." He then clung to Vanilla crying hard, whom hugged him back. "Why? Why did everyone but me forsake him?! He just said how her actions made him uncomfortable!" The rabbit mother let the kid fox cry his tears out, embracing him all the while. She only answered when he began to calm down.

"Well, from what I can tell, some of them thought that they didn't like how he went about with telling her, and not thinking of the results. He was right to speak his mind about her advances, but instead of exploding in her face, they could've talked about it in a calm and civilized manner. Knuckles and I don't hang out, but I think it made sense for him to beat Sonic up because regardless of the reason, he hurt a friend really bad. Out of all of us, I believe he has the deepest sense of loyalty, right?"

"He is dedicated to his cause of protecting the Master Emerald. And he does respect others who helped him before."

"Right, so combine that with a hot temper from what I've heard, and he'd just about beat anyone up for hurting a friend to the point of suicide. As for Shadow, why did he spit at Sonic?"

"Ummm, he didn't like how Sonic looked after snapping at Amy. He did go from chill and cool to remorseful and sad." Hearing this, Vanilla thought about it for a minute before replying,

"I believe it has to do with sticking to one's conviction. I'd imagine that if Shadow is the one who told Amy off, he wouldn't let this get to him because he'd believe she had it coming, though probably not to the point of suicide. To see Sonic falter and let himself get beat up without putting up a fight, it would be like a show of weakness to someone that dislikes weakness."

"What about Omega not letting him in? He did say further interaction could result in further harm but Sonic would never hurt Amy more than she already is."

"Tails, remember that Omega is a robot. Even if Sonic is not a threat, Amy could be in a state that anything could further hurt her, so it's just a precaution." Tails lowered his head, trying to take this all in. A murmer came from Cream as she yawned.

"Ugh, mom?"

"Hey baby." Vanilla went to her daughter, putting her on her lap.

"Where is everyone?"

"Everyone but Tails left. It's just us three."

"Chao chao!" Cheese called out annoyed. She dryly chuckled.

"Sorry, I meant four." And so they waited, Tails, Cream and Cheese playing in the kid section while Vanilla read some magazines. After enough time passed, the doctor came out.

"Oh, did everyone else leave?"

"Yes." Vanilla replied. "What's the news?"

"Amy has regained consciousness. She's weak, but now awake."

"Oh thank goodness." The mother replied.

"Amy said she'd like to talk with you and Cream. Something important to say."

"Thank you." She nodded as she gestured to Cream to come with, and followed the Doctor.

"Oh Miss Amy! I'm so happy you're okay!" Cream and Cheese cried, trying to hug Amy without hurting the woozy hedgehog. She weakly chuckled.

"Sorry you had to find me like that Cream. You shouldn't have seen me like that."

"But she did save your life." Vanilla pointed out. "While she'll need some counseling, I'm glad we didn't lose you."

"Thank you." Amy replied with a small smile.

"Miss Amy?"

"Yes Cream"

"Umm, will you be okay? About Sonic?" The mention of his name caused any positive energy to dissipate from her face.

"Sonic." More tears trailed down her face. "I had no idea he...hated me so much. How could say all that stuff?"

"Sonic doesn't hate you." Vanilla denied but Amy started to go hysterical.

"But I've been nothing but a dumb violent stalker! I idolized him but all I've done is chase him off and theaten him! What kind of a friend have I been?!"

"Amy, Amy, deep breaths! Deep breaths." Cream's mother tried calming down the teenager, whom did but only out of fatigue.

"I don't deserve to be his friend."

"Amy, something you should know is that Sonic is sorry."

"Sorry for what? He told me the truth and wanted me to go away."

"But he didn't want you to kill yourself. What I meant is that Sonic was guilty and ashamed of himself for how he treated you. He let Knuckles beat him up and Shadow to insult him." Amy's eyes slightly widened. "Some of his friends...are no longer that right now. But Tails, Cream and I, we're still his friends, because we're more understanding. But ultimately, it comes down to you. Are you able to forgive him?"
