Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta and helping me work out this chapter. Also, it was fun bouncing around future ideas with you. It was a huge help too. I love the details you helped me develop with what's going to come up in the story. I'm really excited about it.

Mina pulled out her most oversized purse, "It doesn't match my outfit, but you'll fit, Artemis."

He nodded and hopped in, "It's time to meet our princess?"

"It's past time." She then grabbed her purse and was ready to smuggle Artemis into the apartment. She wanted him hidden to attempt to smooth some things over with Luna before she met him.

She left her apartment, locking it, then made her way to Serena and Darien's place. When she arrived, she told the doorman who she was visiting. He called up, and she told him to use the word "Serenity" to explain who she was.

Darien's eyes opened wide in shock, and he told the doorman to send her up. He guessed it was Sailor V. Who else would know about Serenity?

He told Serena what he was thinking, and she smiled at him. "I can't believe I get to meet her! I've been playing her arcade game for years!"

"She's one of your guards; she's probably excited to meet you."

Serena giggled, "My life is so cool!" She then wrapped her arms around him and held on, "It will make you happy for me to have another guard too—especially one who's been doing this a lot longer than us."

He held her and kissed the top of her head. "You're right. I am pleased. I need you safe."

They released each other when there was a knock at the door. Serena bound over and flung the door open wide and smiled. "Come in!" she said excitedly.

Mina stepped in, and her heart swelled at Serena's response.

"I'm Mina," she said as Serena closed the door.

"And you're one of us. I can't believe I know Sailor V!"

Darien said, "Actually, I'm guessing that she's Sailor Venus."

"I am. I jumped into the fight as Sailor V since I thought it would need less explanation. I had intended to meet you both first, but that didn't happen. I figured you'd trust Sailor V immediately."

"I would've trusted you either way!" Serena said at the same time that Darien said, "You were right about that."

Mina laughed in their responses; they were so much like Serenity and Endymion. "In a way, both of you haven't changed."

Serena looked wide-eyed, "You remember part of our first lives?"

"I remember quite a bit, including the fact that I'm your leader of the guards. Before it was Tuxedo Mask's job to protect you; it was mine. At times, I even disguised myself as you as a decoy." She then smiled at a memory. "It wasn't all defense-related either. One time I pretended to be you so you could sneak off and seduce Endymion."

Serena looked wide-eyed at her. "You did?!"

"Yup! You dressed up in a very sexy dress and made your way to Earth and his bedroom. He had tried to protect your virginity. You weren't happy with his attempt."

Darien cleared his throat uncomfortably, "Did she succeed?"

Serena scoffed and rolled her eyes at him, "When have you ever been able to resist me in a sexy dress?!" She then shook her head playfully. "Do I need to remind you of what happened?"

He blushed, "With Mina here, maybe we should skip-"

"Oh no!" she said, laughing. "I want to hear this!"

Serena turned towards Mina and bragged, "Sex against the wall, every time. He can't resist me." She then turned toward Darien, who was blushing even more, and added, "I'm the only one he isn't incredibly reserved around."

Mina grabbed Serena's hand and squeezed it, "You managed to seduce him, and he came back begging for more afterward. You were a virgin, but you had read up quite a lot on the subject of sex."

At that moment, Luna unlocked the door, trotted in, and stared at the blonde talking to Darien and Serena. She instantly realized the new woman saw she'd opened the door. Shoot.

Mina said, "I'm Sailor Venus, Luna. Don't worry about me seeing that."

"Whew!" Luna said, "I knew I'd beaten the girls here, so I didn't think about someone else being here."

"The girls?" Mina asked.

Darien said, "Serena's friends are coming over. I'm going to be studying all night."

"You should join us for girl time!" Serena added, "Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury will be here."

"Will Lita be here tonight?"

"Yes."

"Then Sailor Jupiter will be here too."

Luna flattened her ears and hissed. "You're Central!"

"I'm one of them. There is one other. Sorry, we lied about the princess's identity. I wanted…" She sighed and looked sad. "I wanted Serena to have time to adjust to being a Sailor Scout. The Silver Crystal is a lot to manage, and she has that since she's the princess. Dammit. I wanted to make her life a bit less crazy. We couldn't protect her from everything, and I wanted this one thing for her to adjust to later. I don't even know if it was the right call. I just know I was trying to take care of her."

"But you had me looking for her!" Luna yelled back with her back arched.

"You didn't remember much, but you remembered there was a princess to protect. I had to say something," Artemis said as he jumped out of Mina's purse. He knew what Mina was trying to do to help him, but he refused to pass off the responsibility of the decision onto her.

Luna turned and glared at him, "Central, I presume."

"Guilty. And I mean that in every sense of the word. I feel guilt over lying to you. I realized it was wrong. I'm sorry, Luna."

Darien crossed his arms, "And what about me? Did you know I was the prince?"

"I didn't know it was you until you informed Luna. I was honestly figuring I would have to break the two of you up." He shrugged, "I wanted her with Endymion's reincarnation. I was relieved it was you."

Darien didn't know what to think about that. On the one hand, Artemis would have interfered. On the other hand, if she had been dating someone else, he would have made sure that he, her prince, ended up with her. He just nodded and said, "No more lies then. I will demand that."

Mina looked at him sadly and said, "Beryl's generals are actually your generals, Endymion, tainted with dark energy. She's corrupted them. We need to-"

There was a knock at the door, and her explanation was cut short. The girls had all arrived.

Serena made sure to introduce Mina as a new friend of hers, and all the girls quickly accepted her. They all trusted Serena's judgment on people.

Later that evening, as they all got to know each other, Serena asked, "So Amy, how was your date?"

Amy blushed and smiled at everyone. "It was…incredible. He's not only incredibly muscular, but he's also so smart! We had the most stimulating conversation."

Serena giggled, "Was that everything that was - stimulating about the date?"

"No," Amy turned even redder. "He…we kissed, and it was heated. I've never felt so overwhelmed by a kiss before. We're going on another date. He even sent me flowers. They were purple Irises."

"And what does that mean?" Lita asked.

"Wisdom. He said my mind hypnotized him."

Serena teared up, "That's so romantic!"

Mina sat there worried; she knew Zoisite was Amy's soulmate, and she didn't want her falling for another man. She wanted all the generals back and restored. It was all part of her hope that Kunzite would remember her and their love. She wanted them all to have their true loves.

She tried not to fidget when she said, "Well, be careful. It could all end up being nothing in the end. Don't go too far with him."

Molly looked at her funny, "Amy's not the type to be ruled by her hormones. You just don't know her well enough. If she says he's great, then he is. She'll use her head."

Mina was desperately trying not to hate "know-it-all" Molly. From the moment she was introduced as Serena's "oldest friend", jealousy flared in her. She knew her own hurt feelings caused it; she was supposed to be the one closest to Serena. Mina was Serenity's cousin and had been, until this life, her oldest and closest friend. She desperately wanted to have that connection to her princess and her best friend. Now Molly had that place in Serena's life. Molly, the "outsider", was closer to all the other scouts too. Except, now that she thought about it, she was the outsider, and it hurt. Still, she knew no one was purposefully making her feel that way. Everyone was warm, so was Molly, as much as she hated to admit it. She felt like she didn't fit in.

Even Raye was able to joke around and seemed comfortable. Then the truth dawned on her. Raye didn't remember the past as she did. Raye was enjoying becoming friends with the girls. Mina already had a deep affection for all of them except Molly. While she was practically a stranger, they were like family to her.

She forced a smile and decided she'd make a point to get to know Molly better. After all, she knew her princess; she wouldn't abandon a friend. Molly was here to stay.

At that moment of a new determination, she heard something that made it easier to care about Molly. Serena said to her, "Molly and I became friends in our first year of school. Another girl was being horrible to me, and I was crying—Molly then came and knocked her down and made her cry. She told the girl that if she told on her, she would make sure everyone knew she was a bully," Serena smiled and then added, "We've been friends ever since."

Mina, all of a sudden, was able to open her heart to Molly a bit. Protecting Serena was something that she could respect about her. Then she realized they both had something important in common—the desire to protect Serena. And Molly had that desire despite her not having a past life to draw on.
