Henry and Ella had been away in the Enchanted Forest for nearly a year. They were returning to Storybrooke and the others were thrilled. "Do you think they're done fighting battles over there?" Regina asked.

"I don't know. I mean, I know he's your son, but he's my son too and I don't think they're done."

"You're done," Regina pointed out.

"I haven't wanted to go out looking for trouble recently."

Regina walked over to the window. She had been having a pretty good week and hardly needed her cane. Just sometimes at night when she was tired. Regina looked out the window, "hmm, I don't see any flying pigs."

Emma threw a pillow at her wife who laughed, "you're so funny."

When the doorbell rang, Emma was so excited that she ran. Regina couldn't really run so she took her time. The girls rushed down the stairs, "slow down," Regina said, "what have I told you about running on the stairs?"

"Not to," the three said.

"Hey, mom," Henry said as he walked up the steps in front of the front door.

"Henry," Regina smiled and threw her arms around her son. "I'm so happy you're back." Regina looked past her son, "where's Ella?"

"She's coming," he said. "Let's all go to the living room."

Once everyone was seated, Henry went to get his wife. Everyone gasped when they walked in with a baby. "Everyone, this is Lucy Cecilia Mills," Ella announced.

The girls and Emma went over to meet the baby, "mama, what would you like your granddaughter to call you?" Henry asked.

"Emma," she joked.

"Very funny," Henry said.

"I don't know. Your mom and I can talk about it later. I doubt Lucy will need to call us something soon."

It was then that Henry realized his mother hadn't moved from her spot on the couch. Emma realized it too because when Ella handed the Lucy to her, Emma took the baby over to her wife. She sat on the couch next to Regina. Henry turned to his sisters, "hey, could you three give us a moment?"

The girls left the room. "She's beautiful," Emma said.

Henry walked over and knelt next to his mother, "mom, are you alright?"

"It's just an emotional moment," Regina said with a watery smile. Emma handed baby Lucy over to Regina. "She really is beautiful." The mayor looked up at her son and daughter-in-law, "I hope you both know that we're going to spoil her rotten."

Henry and Ella laughed, "we were hoping you would," Ella said.

Four months after Henry and Ella returned to Storybrooke, Remy returned with some big news, "I'm getting married." His family was thrilled for him and they couldn't wait to meet his fiance at dinner that night. Regina was a bit nervous to meet her son's fiance. She had screwed up with Henry and hopefully, she did better with Remy. It was just Emma, Regina, their girls, Remy, and his fiance Suzy. "Thank you for inviting me to dinner. I've had a really wonderful time," Suzy said to Emma and Regina.

"You're welcome," Emma said, "I'm really enjoying getting to know you."

"Would anyone like dessert?" Regina asked and of course, everyone said yes.

"Honey, I'll get it. You took care of making dinner and dessert. It's the least I can do."

"Literally," Regina joked.

Suzy hadn't spoken much to Regina. She had heard about what happened at Thanksgiving when Regina met Ella. Regina hadn't really said much to Suzy either. She was afraid she'd say the wrong thing. The girls loved Suzy, of course. Emma returned with the pie and some ice cream for dessert. Regina had hardly eaten dinner and hadn't taken any dessert. She stood as Emma sat, "where are you going?"

"I'm just going to clear some of these plates."

"We can do that after."

"It's fine," Regina smiled. She took everyone's dinner plate and went to the kitchen.

Everyone heard dishes shattering, "stay here," Emma told them. She got up and found her wife leaning on the counter with her palms and her head down. There were broken dishes all over the floor. "What happened?"

Regina sniffled, "my hands were shaky and I dropped them."

"Is that why you didn't eat?"

"Yes," Regina confessed.

"Okay, let's get you out of here and I'll clean up." Emma took her wife's arms and backed her away from the counter.

"Emma, the kitchen can wait until they leave. I'm going to sit outside. I need some air." Regina took her cane from the spot in the kitchen where she left it before dinner and went outside. She sat down and just stared at her shaking hands.

Emma went back to the dining room, "is mom okay?" Remy asked.

"Yeah, just don't go in the kitchen. There are broken dishes on the floor."

"I'm sorry," Suzy said, "this is all my fault. I've made her feel uncomfortable."

"None of this is your fault. Regina was afraid she'd make the same mistake with you that she made with Ella and it has her all nervous."

"Where's mom now?" Remy asked.

"She needed some air."

After dessert, Suzy insisted on helping Emma clean up, but Remy helped instead. Suzy was walking by the back door when she noticed Regina sitting in a chair with her head in her hands. She opened the door and walked out, "Mrs. Mills, are you alright?"

Regina looked up and Suzy could see that the woman had been crying. "I'm fine," she said, "thank you. Are you all finished?"

"Yes, Remy's helping Emma clean up. I offered to but Remy insisted."

"I guess I better head in."

"Actually, I was wondering if I could talk to you?"

"Sure," Regina said and motioned for the girl to sit in a chair.

"I know that you're nervous about tonight and I was too. I mean, I love Remy, but he loves you all so much. I was afraid that if you didn't like me that he would break things off with me. I should have talked to you more at dinner, but everyone was telling me to let you come to me. I'm sorry if I was rude."

"You weren't being rude. Both of us were nervous because of what happened when I met Ella. You're a very sweet girl and I can see how much you and Remy love each other."

"Thank you, Mrs. Mills."

"Call me Regina."

Suzy smiled and hugged her future mother-in-law. The evening turned out better than expected for everyone.
