Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!
After Serena's last class of the day, she managed to find Molly. She ran up to her, hugged her, and whispered, "Can we go somewhere private? I need to talk to you about something - big."
Molly whispered back, "Is it that you're Sailor Moon?"
Serena looked at her in complete shock, "How?!"
"I've known you for about thirteen years…." Then she smiled and said, "Okay, actually, I heard Amy talking about her powers to someone named Luna. Once I saw her use them on TV, I started recognizing you. It was like you were obscured from my vision before that."
"Wow… how long? Are you mad I didn't tell you until now?"
Molly took her by the hand and led her off to a different part of the university grounds. People had begun making their way to class, and she didn't want anyone to overhear. "Of course I'm not upset. I'm sure it was a lot to take in. Rick and I figured it out the night we were on our double date."
"He knows too?"
"Yes, you don't have to worry that either of us will say anything."
"Oh, I didn't worry about you saying anything for a second. You trust Rick, though?"
Molly nodded and blushed lightly, "With my heart. I've fallen in love with him."
Serena looked at her with joy radiating from her. "Have you told him?"
"No! Are you crazy? It's way too soon for me to tell him. His sister told me I'm the first girl he ever bothered to mention to his parents. I'm pretty sure telling him would spook him right now. I can be patient. He's not going anywhere."
"He's an idiot if he isn't in love with you already."
Molly laughed and shook her head with humor, "You're biased."
"I'm right. But, I'll stop. I'm happy for you, and I'll trust him too then." She hugged her and squeezed tight. "Even though he better love you."
She changed the subject and asked, "Why did you name your cat after Luna?"
"The cat is Luna," Serena whispered. "She's an alien from the planet Mau."
Molly looked at her in confusion and said, "Tell me you're joking."
"Actually, there's a lot more you need to be told. Do you have time to talk?"
They spent the next two hours talking about all of the new revelations about her identity and the past.
"What does it mean that I'm the only one not from your past?" Molly asked in near tears. She realized she didn't fit in anymore.
"Do you really think I would give up my oldest friend? I will absolutely need your help, too, if you're willing."
"What could I possibly do? I don't have powers or anything useful."
"Darien and I ran out on dinner the other night, and you took care of the check and everything. I need you to be the Alfred to my Batman. Do you think I could do any of this without your support? We know so much about each other, I'll need you even more now. I'm so overwhelmed, and I've been faking confidence. I have a feeling you know that already, though. I can't fool you."
Molly smiled and dried her eyes. "I did notice something was off. I just thought it had to do with the new powers."
"I'm a freaking princess of a dead race of people, and I'm supposed to defeat Beryl who killed - everyone - before. Well, I killed myself, but that sucks too. I pulled a Romeo and Juliet!" Molly could see the pain in her eyes.
"You might be faking confidence, but you're succeeding in what you're doing." She gave Serena a wry smile, "You get a prince who adores you out of this too. It's not all bad."
"He's crazy about me, isn't he?" She smiled at Molly and then added, "I love him so completely."
"So I'm Alfred?" she teased.
"Yes, just the hot version of that. Seriously, you know I suck at keeping secrets. I'm going to need so much help!"
Molly burst out laughing, "You sure will." She then grew serious and added, "I'll help you any way I can."
"The first thing I need is you to work on befriending Mina. She feels left out and pushes the others to be what they were without knowing them enough now. She was trying to prove worthy of my friendship. I need her to realize that she doesn't need to earn our love."
Molly sighed, "You get that she doesn't like me, right? She tried to hide it, but it was obvious."
"She was my cousin and oldest friend in our last lifetime, and she remembers back then. Tell me that you, of all people, wouldn't feel like the biggest threat to her. Remember, I introduced you as my oldest friend. I'm guessing that stung."
"Dang. That makes a lot of sense, which means that befriending her would ease her jealousy and make her see that I don't want to get in the way of her friendship with you."
"Yup," Serena replied, popping the p.
"I'll do it, Batman."
"Thank you, Alfred."
