Mina answered the door when she heard someone pounding on it. The moment she did, her heart broke for Amy. She was in tears, and she looked devastated.

"Did something happen during your date tonight?" Mina asked. "Did he hurt you?!"

"No," she sobbed out. "He told me he l-loves me!"

"Why are you crying? You said you really liked him." Mina looked at her in confusion.

"It's Serena and Darien."

"What? What do they have to do with it?"

Amy stepped into Mina's apartment and sat on her couch. She tried to stop crying and said, "You said Zoisite's my soulmate. Serena and Darien were made for each other. Everyone sees that! What if… I love Zack, but what if I meet Zoisite, and he's my Darien?"

Mina sat beside Amy and let her cry on her shoulder.

"I know you don't want to hurt anyone. Amy, you have to believe no matter who you date, I only want the best for you. Even if that's Zack, I'll be thrilled for you. It was my own insecurities pushing you to Zoisite. I can't handle the idea that Kunzite wouldn't love me."

"But, you believe I'll meet Zoisite and fall in love with him. I don't want to hurt Zack. He's done nothing wrong."

Mina pulled back and looked Amy in the eyes, "Tell me the truth, do you love him with your whole heart and your head?"

She thought about that for a minute and said, "Yes, I love him completely."

"Then there you are. Why can't it be as simple as that?"

"But you said -"

"I know what I said. I also know you. Even though you don't remember the past, I do. I remember you. I trust you. I should have remembered that earlier. I'm sorry I made you so upset."

"Are you sure?"

"Love can be a choice. If you've found a good man, stay with him. What do I know?"

"You're from the planet of love."

Mina shrugged, "And you're in love. I can tell that. Why would I get in the way of that over a past you don't remember?"

"But, what if Zoisite is my soulmate?"

"Close your eyes and picture your life without Zack in it. How does that feel?"

Amy got a crushed look on her face and said, "Horrible. It feels awful. I can't… No. I really do love him."

"So, what are you going to do?" Mina asked, trying to be helpful.

Amy paled, "Find him at the restaurant that I ditched him at and beg him to forgive me for running out on him after he said he loved me."

Mina's eyes grew wide, "You didn't…."

"Oh yeah. I really did; I was weeping too. This is a huge mess."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No… I have to face him." She sighed and pulled out her phone. "Maybe I can't face him, and I should call him."

"He'll forgive you. Don't worry."

"How can you know that?"

"Because he loves you, and you're going to tell him you love him back. What more can a man want than the love of a good, hot woman?"

Amy cracked a smile and replied, "Someone who doesn't act crazy?"

"You're hot enough for him to put up with some crazy. Plus, it will all be worked out, and the crazy will be over."

"And then I'll meet Zoisite." She sighed, "I can't imagine loving someone more than I love Zack. I'm so scared to meet Zoisite. What if I'm wrong about my feelings?"

There was a knock at the door startling them both. Mina stood and answered the door, and she wanted to throw up. Her first thought was, well, you're about to find out, Amy. There, on her doorstep, stood Zoisite looking pensive.

"Come in," she opened the door wide for him, and he stepped over the threshold and into the apartment. "Why aren't you evil? I can't feel the dark energy on you."

He gave her a small smile and whispered, "I took one look at Sailor Mercury and realized something about me was wrong. I managed to rid myself of the darkness for her."

Mina wanted to scream. This was not going to go well. She just talked Amy into dating another man, and now Zoisite was saying he rid himself of the darkness because of his love for her. Dammit.

He walked into the apartment, and she saw him smile at Amy. She was about to say something when Amy asked, "Zack, what are you doing here?"

"WHAT?!" Mina yelled out. "He's Zack?" She then burst out laughing at the whole situation, and tears started rolling down her cheeks. She was almost choking on her laughter.

"Why is that so funny?" Amy asked.

Mina tried to breathe and barely got out, "He's Zoisite!"

Amy looked at him in shock, "Wait, your name isn't Zack?"

He fidgeted and said, "I use Zack as a nickname. Zoisite's an odd name. I'm sorry I didn't… When I told you I loved you and you ran out, I couldn't figure out why I upset you so much. I didn't realize you knew about our past. I thought you didn't remember me, and I needed to get you to fall in love with me all over again."

"I don't remember. Mina remembers and insists you're my soulmate. The problem was that I was falling in love with Zack - well, you."

He smiled and said, "You love me?"

"Yes." Amy walked forward and stepped into his embrace. "So much. I love you so much that I was going to pick you over the soulmate Mina told me about."

He held her tightly and said, "I'm sorry. I didn't know any of you remembered. I thought if I said I wasn't one of Beryl's minions anymore and that I was your true love that you wouldn't believe me."

"I'm so relieved you're both Zack and Zoisite. How did you find me?"

"I can sense you. Especially when your emotions are high. Tonight you were very easy to follow." He then caressed her cheek.

Mina smiled and said, "I'm going to head out for a bit. I'm sure you don't need me around. You'll have plenty of privacy to talk here. Artemis is gone." She then left the two of them alone. She knew she wouldn't make it much longer before she'd be weeping from relief.

Zoisite pulled Amy down onto his lap as he sat on the couch. Amy cuddled into him and laid her head on his shoulder.

"So you ran out crying because you love me?"

"Yes, Mina said you weren't my soulmate, well, that Zack wasn't." She giggled and said, "You have no idea how happy I am right now."

"You love me. I have a feeling I know quite a lot about being happy right now, sweet Amy. From the moment I saw you in battle, I felt something was wrong with me. I immediately went to work to research what it was. I was able to cleanse myself of all that dark energy possessing me, but still, now, right here, I'm the happiest I've ever been."

"Did you join that JSDF class on purpose?"

"Yes, I wanted to be by Endymion, but I was so thrilled when I saw you in it too. When you flirted back with me, I was so happy."

"I'm sorry I don't remember us from the past. Can you tell me some stories? I would love to get to know what we were like."

"I'd be happy to tell you. I have a confession to make though. You're - more easy-going now. I like that about you. You're not exactly the same as you were. You're happier."

"How so?"

"You were always so intense. You were a princess of Mercury, and it was like you didn't want your heart to rule you at all. You tried to make every decision with your head." He shrugged, "You would never have been able to pick Zack in the past."

"Does it bother you that I did?"

"No! No, just the opposite. You picked your love for me over being told what the 'right' choice was." He caressed her cheek. "You chose with your heart. It's overwhelming to know you love me that much."

"We were in love in the past," she gently reminded him.

He made her shift so he could look her in the eyes, "You loved me then, yes. But, you…"

Amy grew sad, "I made you feel like I didn't love you completely, didn't I?"

"You wouldn't let yourself. You were -"

"Logical," she interrupted. "I was logical all the time. I tend that way now. Serena helped me fight that and to love fully."

"Also, you aren't trying to please a mother that insists that you use your head and ignore your heart."

"I'm sorry I was like that."

He shook his head and said, "That's not why I told you. I only said this, so you know the truth, I love you. I did love her, yes, and she's you, but this version of you, the you I'm holding now, you're perfect for me."

She kissed his cheek and said, "Thank you. I would have worried about that. You're right about me. I won't hold back my feelings around you."

He let that wonderful truth wash over him. His heart swelled in his chest, and he smiled. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, no matter what your name is," she teased.
