Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my amazing and awesome beta! You are my Lita to my Mina! Thank you for your help with Lita's personality.

The following morning Lita opened her door, and Serena was standing there. She smiled at her amazing friend and said, "I made your favorite scones."

Serena looked at her in shock, "But… I didn't tell you I was coming. How did you know?"

Lita gave her a wry smile, "I was upset last night, and I knew you noticed. You always do. And since neither of us has class this morning, I knew you'd come now. You're the best friend anyone could have, Serena. You always show up for me, for all of us."

Serena was embarrassed by her praise, so she said, "Did you make your amazing chocolate chip scones?"

"I sure did. Come on in. It really still feels weird to invite you into what used to be your place too."

Serena, always the impatient one, asked, "So are we going to talk about how you feel over Nephrite's lack of reaction to you?"

Lita sighed, and they sat at the table. Serena placed two scones on the plate that Lita provided for her and then waited.

"Why? Why doesn't he have any reaction to me? Jadeite was sweet to Raye, Kunzite was apparently acting off, and Zoisite fought through the darkness to get to Amy. What's wrong with me?!" Lita looked broken.

"I talked to Mina about all the generals and their personalities. I wanted to understand them better. I didn't tell her why I really asked about certain things about Nephrite."

"After what Zoisite said about how Kunzite goads him, it makes more sense. It's his pride getting stung. Every time Kunzite goes after him verbally, it renews his focus on proving himself to Beryl."

Zoisite didn't have that. He was on the sidelines; his pride and dignity weren't on the line. Nephrite's is. From what Mina said, you found that very attractive in the past."

Serena began eating, so Lita knew it was her turn to talk again.

"So, you think he's so focused on proving himself that he isn't taking the time to really notice me."

"You've only been at two battles. Yes, they were about a week and a half apart, but again he was focused on fighting, unlike Zoisite."

"True..."

"Mina told me this story of a time when he was fighting someone in a tournament. He was well-matched with his opponent, and Endymion was in attendance. He refused to back down, and the fight went on so long they both grew exhausted and were struggling with their swords."

Serena took a drink of water then continued. She took the sip to draw out the tension. She knew Lita was fascinated by the story.

"At one point, Endymion yelled for him to concede that it was a draw. He responded that he wouldn't unless it was an order. He then said he would rather die first than give up." Serena then giggled. "His opponent dropped their sword, drew out a dagger, and launched themself at him. He ended up on his back, with his opponent's dagger at his throat. She then told him he could die if he liked."

"She?!"

"You, Lita. You then stood, pulled off your helmet, and laughed at his look of shock that a woman beat him. Mina told me that he laughed and said when he could get off his back, he was going to kiss you. You responded that you preferred him on his back for what you wanted."

Lita grew warm based on the end of the story of her past with him.

Serena added, "He didn't want to give up in front of Endymion. He won't want to give up with Beryl. But, I believe that both times, when he really sees you, he'll be drawn to you. He's your soulmate."

Lita wiped tears from her eyes. "I just hated feeling less than."

"No man should ever make you feel that way, Lita. Especially not your soulmate. Trust that he will love you. And in the end, you'll win- again."

"I'll win?"

"Torture him," Serena teased. "Make him beg. Make sure he is focused on making it up to you, over and over again." She then whispered, "Sexually."

Lita laughed, "I figured that was what you meant."

"Good. Now, these scones are amazing! Thank you."

"One more thing."

"What?"

"What if we have to kill him?"

Serena scoffed, "We're the good guys. We don't kill the innocent. On top of that," she looked Lita in the eyes, "I don't kill the man my friend will love. I would never hurt you like that."

"Thank you. I know that, but I just needed to hear it."

Serena smiled at her, "Do you realize we're all going to be in love? How wonderful is that?!"

"Molly sure looked happy last night when Rick announced he loved her."

"It was so romantic," Serena said, sighing happily. "It came out like it was the most natural thing to say. He must have been in love with her for a while."

"Surprising only her."

"True."

Lita laughed, "Mina was so excited to show she was right. I feel kinda bad that a bunch of us were mad at her over it all."

"I told her she wasn't operating with all the information," Serena said. "Turns out I was doing the same thing."

Lita scoffed at that, "No, you weren't. Your friends were hurting. That was all you needed to know."

"I'm not so sure. Darien disagreed with me. He was sure Zoisite was her soulmate."

"He was?"

"He's truly a romantic and believes deeply in true love."

"Bull, he adores you and will hold on desperately to anything that tells him he has your love for the rest of his life. He's afraid of being alone again."

Lita spoke again before Serena could object. "He trusts you and your love. He just has past issues that make him insecure. He will manage to get past his insecurities. They just take time."

"You're right. What are your insecurities adding to the situation with Nephrite?"

"That I'm not good enough to get him to want to fight the darkness in him. That I don't have something, Amy has. What you say makes sense, but you asked about insecurities."

"I know. Lita, remember how upset and worried Amy was over the whole Zack/Zoisite thing?"

"Yes."

"Nephrite will love you. From what I hear about him, he will be devastated to know he made you doubt yourself. I doubted Mina before. I won't again. He's your soulmate, and he will adore you. I promise he's already yours. We just need to restore him to his factory settings."

Lita laughed at Serena's joke and nodded. "You're right. Mina was so sure of Amy's soulmate even though we doubted her. We even got so mad at her. I'll believe her on this too."

"Now," Serena said, "can I take some of your delicious scones with me?"

Lita handed her a Tupperware container and said, "I already packed them for you."

"Thank you!"

After Serena left, Lita really thought about everything and remembered she was good enough. Serena accepted her as-is from the very beginning and showed up today to check on her. She wondered if there was true love in friendships too.

It took only about thirty minutes for her to remember who she really was. She was Sailor Jupiter and the girl who got kicked out of several middle schools for fighting. She wasn't this…weak. She was in every way a fighter. So she would fight.

Sure, Nephrite didn't remember her and was serving Queen Beryl.

That didn't change who she was. He didn't change her. So she decided she would kick his ass for making her feel bad sooner rather than later.

She was fuming mad now, so she began cutting up vegetables for that evening's dinner. It was how she took out her anger when she couldn't punch someone. Every vegetable she cut was Beryl, she diced the pieces smaller than she meant to. She was pissed that Beryl was using him against his will.

She looked forward to helping her princess kick that woman's ass. She wanted a hand in destroying her for making her pay for tainting the generals, for her controlling Nephrite.

Next, she began plotting; Serena was right. She had to make Nephrite pay for not being stirred by memories of her. She would make sure she enjoyed punishing him and that she would have him begging for her. That finally brought a smile to her face.
