Regina's second pregnancy was a bit easier. She wasn't as sick as she had been while pregnant with Odette. There were days when she didn't need her wheelchair as long as she rested enough. She had spent the past four months helping Odette learn how to control her magic and the little girl enjoyed that time with her mother. It was taking so long because Regina needed to rest and couldn't work every day. Plus Odette had school work to take care of.

"What if I poof?" Odette asked in her mother's vault.

"You can't poof from here. I placed a spell so you couldn't."

"Is it blood magic?"

"Umm...no," she did hope the spell would work.

Once they were done with their lesson, Regina picked everything up and went to leave with her daughter. She had to take her time climbing the steps. "Mommy, why didn't you bring your cane?"

"I don't know," she breathed out.

"Where is it?"

"My nightstand," Regina finally made it to the top.

"Here, mommy," Odette said.

Regina turned and saw Odette holding her cane, "where did...how?"

"Magic," the little girl smiled.

Regina gave her daughter a proud smile before accepting the cane. The two slowly made their way home, hand in hand. Emma didn't know that her wife had been going to the vault to give Odette her magic lessons. Unfortunately, on this day, Emma left work early. Regina didn't see her wife's car because it was in the garage. She did see the angry face on the blonde when she and their daughter walked in, "Emma," she said surprised.

Odette's eyes widened, "uh-oh," she whispered.

"Odette, please go up to your room so I can talk to mommy."

The little girl ran out of sight, "Emma, please, just let me explain."

"Where were you?"

"I'm home in one piece. That's all that matters."

"Regina, where were you?"

"My vault," she answered.

"You walked from here to your vault and back?!"

"I'm fine and it's not the first time."

"What?!"

"Emma, it's easier to teach Odette there."

"Then your mother can teach her."

"No, I will be teaching our daughter."

"You are not supposed to walk far even when you're not pregnant!"

"Look, if it makes you feel better then I'll make a list of what I need from the vault and you can go get it. I can try giving her lessons somewhere around here. I just didn't want Faline to feel left out or get hurt."

"Make the list and I'll go."

"I really am sorry."

"I know and I'm really upset."

"I know."

"But I love you."

Regina nodded, "I love you too."

Emma took her wife's list and left to collect the books she needed. Cora and Henry Sr. were quite helpful during this time. They occupied Faline during Odette's lessons and helped around the house.

"Mother," Regina looked at her mother who was sitting down after having given the girls lunch. "I hate to ask this, but could you help me up? I feel a bit lightheaded and I need to use the bathroom."

"Sure," Cora went to her daughter's side, "go slowly," Cora kept her grip on her daughter even after she was on her feet. "Let me know when you're ready."

"I can get there on my own."

"I know, but you said you're light-headed and I would worry less about you getting hurt if I went with you. I can let go of you and you can just grab me if you need to."

"Okay," Regina knew her mother was right. The woman waited until she was in the hall and out of her daughters' sight to grab onto her mother. "I didn't want the girls to worry."

"I figured and that's fine."

"I may need help in there," Regina said.

Cora could tell her daughter was embarrassed. "Don't worry," she said, "I'm not going to leave you unless you tell me to and I'm sure that you're alright."

"Thank you, mother."

Odette bounced into the living room where her mother was resting with her feet up. "Mommy, is baby moving around?" Regina waved her daughter over and showed her where to put her hand. The little girl giggled every time she felt the baby. It fascinated both Odette and Faline. They were always asking to feel the baby and would tell Regina's bump bedtime stories. Regina used her wheelchair a bit more each month because the extra weight was making it more difficult to walk. Cora was constantly worrying about her daughter and while it touched Regina, it also drove her nuts. Emma told her wife to just take it out on her so she didn't upset her mother. Regina felt bad but did it anyway.

When Regina's water broke she and Emma left a note for Cora and Henry Sr. They were still staying with the couple and the two women didn't want to wake them. This delivery was easier for Regina. It went more quickly so she didn't run out of energy as she had with Odette. Regina sat in her hospital bed, holding her newborn son. Emma was filling out the birth certificate, "honey, what's his name?"

"Remy Robert Mills," she said, "after David's late father."

Emma smiled at her wife, "I love that name. You always pick the best names."

"You haven't done too badly yourself."

"I've only named Faline."

"And you did a great job."

Snow and David were the first to visit the new baby at the hospital. David was touched that Regina had even thought of his father. They then went to relieve Cora and Henry Sr. It was decided that the girls and Henry would meet their new brother when he came home. Regina needed her rest and to not be overwhelmed by visitors. She and Emma took baby Remy home two days later.

"He so cute," Odette said.

"Wittle," Faline added.

"You two always have cute babies," Henry said.

"I assume you're including yourself in that," Emma said.

"Um, duh," Henry replied.

Regina helped the girls hold Remy for a little bit. "Can't wait to play with you Remy," Odette said.

"Gonna have wots of fun," Faline told her brother.

It warmed the hearts of all of the adults and Henry to hear the girls talk to their baby brother.

"Mother, I feel bad that we didn't name a child after you," Regina said.

"Sweetheart, it's fine. Besides, I don't think a boy would have an easy life with the name Cora."

"Maybe our next baby will be a girl," Emma suggested. She saw her family looking at her curiously. Only Regina was smiling, "yes, I'm having a baby," Emma announced.
