Seven months later, Emma and Regina were right back at the hospital. This delivery went quickly as well. Emma was grateful for that so her wife could rest.

"I love how you just had a baby and are telling me to rest," Regina said.

"You know exactly why I'm telling you. Besides, I can rest too. He's asleep and we should both sleep as well."

"Okay, you're right."

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Shut up, smartass." Regina grabbed her cane and the railing on Emma's bed.

"Honey, do you need some help?"

"I think I'm good." Regina groaned as she stood. She saw the worried look on her wife's face. Regina gave Emma a reassuring smile before turning to make her way to the couch. She stopped at the end of the bed and held onto the railing at the end tightly while she closed her eyes and lowered her head.

Emma quickly hit the call button. If she hadn't just given birth then she would have been able to rush to her wife.

When the nurse walked in she didn't even have to ask Emma what she needed. She saw Regina and rushed over. "Mrs. Mills, do you need medical attention?"

"No," she said softly. The nurse held onto Regina and helped her to the couch. Once the mayor was situated, Emma thanked the nurse, and the nurse left. Regina slept for three hours and an hour after she woke up, the grandparents arrived. Henry and Neal were with the little ones.

"Everyone, this is Oliver David Mills," Emma said. David had a huge smile on his face.

Cora saw her daughter giving her an apologetic look, "Regina, stop."

"I just feel bad."

"What's wrong?" Snow asked.

"Regina feels bad that they didn't name a child after me. I told them it wasn't important to me. She had already picked out Odette's name when I came back and we weren't speaking when Faline was born. It would be horrible for a boy to be named Cora."

Snow looked at Regina and Emma, "why do I have the feeling you two are going to have another baby?"

"No," Cora said, "unless it's Emma."

"Why?" Regina asked offended.

"Sweetheart, pregnancy is too hard on your body and too difficult for you."

"I can handle it, mother."

"I don't care because it will put your wellbeing in jeopardy."

"Well, it's too late," Regina said, "I'm already pregnant."

"What?" Everyone gasped.

"She was inseminated by Neal," Emma explained.

"What if you have another boy?" Cora asked, "ever think about that?"

"They made sure I was inseminated with the X chromosome. The baby will be a girl."

"I need some air," Cora said and left the room.

"Honey, why don't you go home and get some rest?" Emma suggested.

"Come on, Regina," David said, "I'll drive you."

Regina kissed her wife and newborn before accepting David's outstretched hand. "Do you think I made a mistake?" she asked David on their way to his truck.

"No, I really don't. I mean, you have had some trouble during your pregnancies but it wasn't anything fatal. You just needed more rest because of everything your body has been through."

"Thank you," Regina smiled.

"Give your mom some time. I'm sure she's just worried about you."

David drove Regina home but decided to stay with her and the kids. "David, could you bring Remy to me? He needs to eat."

David handed the six-month-old to his mother. "I'll get dinner going for everyone else."

"Thank you," Regina said softly.

It had been two months since Regina revealed her pregnancy and she hadn't seen or heard from her mother. "Do you want me to drive you over there?" Emma asked in reference to her in-laws' home.

"No, it's fine. When she's ready to talk, she'll find me."

"I can go talk to her. Tell her how much better you are doing this time around."

"Dear, I appreciate the offer, really I do, but she will come to me when she's ready."

Emma was worried about her wife. While Regina was doing very well, this tension with her mother could affect her condition at any moment. Emma wanted to act but decided to respect her wife's wishes. Emma didn't talk to Cora. Instead, she talked to Snow.

"I've let a few things slip in front of her," Snow said. "She looked as if it really affected her."

"Then why hasn't she called or shown up?"

"Maybe she feels guilty now and is trying to figure out how to fix things."

"I hope so. Regina is almost seven months pregnant. She did this to name a child after her mother and her mother is ignoring her because she did this."

"I can understand her worry for Regina."

"So can I, but I know this is hurting Regina more than the pregnancy."

"Emma, everything will be alright. Cora loves you, Regina, and the kids."

Emma knew her mother was right, but that didn't make things easier.

A week before Regina's due date, Emma had had enough. She had her parents stay at the house while she ran an errand.

"Emma," Cora began to worry when her daughter-in-law appeared at her front door. "Are Regina and the baby okay?" Emma took the woman's hand and pulled her to the car, "Emma, what are you doing?"

"This all ends today. You are going over and making up with your daughter."

"I can't do that. It's been too long and now it's too late."

Emma stopped and turned to face her mother-in-law, "it's only too late when one of you is six feet under."

Emma managed to get Cora to the house. She sat with her parents and kids while Cora went to the bedroom. Cora opened the bedroom door and saw Regina sitting up in bed, reading a book. The younger woman heard the door and looked up, "mother." She was utterly speechless.

"I'm so sorry," Cora said as she began to cry.

Regina opened her arms and Cora ran to them. "It's okay," Regina said softly. "I can understand why you were so upset and worried."

"I didn't want something to happen to you because you wanted to have another baby to name one after me."

"Mother, I love my children a great deal. I wanted to have another baby. This wasn't just to give you a namesake. I wasn't done having children. After this one, I am."

Cora breathed a sigh of relief and Regina laughed before gasping, "Regina, what's wrong?"

"Get Emma," she said, "my water broke."

Cora ran out of the room to get Emma. David carried Regina to the car and Emma drove her wife to the hospital while the family waited for the arrival of their new loved one.

Regina was in more pain this time around. She had difficulty during the delivery and was beyond exhausted. This one took longer than the others, but eventually, a baby girl was crying loudly to alert the entire world of her arrival.

"Is she the last one?" Emma asked.

"I thought we were going to repeat our usual pattern," Regina joked.

"I've given birth to three and so have you. We're even now."

"Stella Cora Mills," Regina said.

"Stella?"

"You don't like it?"

"No, I love it. I guess I never thought of the name, but I never thought of Odette. It's beautiful."

This time, everyone waited until the baby went home to meet her. Regina was exhausted and they decided to let her rest. While Cora knew they were naming the baby after her, it still touched the woman. Seven years ago Cora Mills never would have thought that she'd be the doting wife, mother, and grandmother she now was. Now, she can't picture her life any other way.
